You sighed and stared at the ceiling, the TV luming the house from the darkness outside as the rain poured, almost as much as your tears.

You heard a knock at the door, you heart tugged and you got up.

You open to see Taehyung, soaked in a hoodie and panting, you wondered if he was having the same thought as you.

"Apologizing." He says as he steps closer.

You stay still, not backing down despite the tears running your face.

He stays quiet a minute.

"It felt like I was begging for your attention." You mumble.

"To even get a phone call felt impossible, and not to mention the girls that flirt with you and you don't even notice!" You sniffle.

He tries not to smile at your jealousy.

"Im sorry." He says again, now serious.

"But y/n, you know I love you, despite the separate paths with careers, I cant let you go, my heart wont let me."

Your own heart softens.

Who were you kidding? Of course you loved him back.

You look down and think about it.

He lifts your chin and moves closer.

"Please, give me another chance." He says softly.

You bite your lip.

"Give me a chance, I'll do better."

"Let me love you again.." he says as he moves a bit closer, taking your hand in his.

The rain softens and you look around, remembering that you left him in the rain, you lead him inside and sit on the couch.

You stare at each other.

"This time I want more attention." You speak up.

"Only if you promise to speak up about it more." He mumbles.

Silent.

He leans in and cups your cheek that was damp from crying.

"I love you." He says as he looks into your eyes.

"I love you too." You say softly.

He kisses you gently.

You kiss back all emotions flood at once and another tear slides down you face, he wipes them and pulls back, his own eyes glossy.

"I'll do better this time, I'll show you how much you mean to me." He says with a firm look.

You nod and he leans in again, the kiss was soft and slow, the rain still pattering as he pulls his closer and you wrap your arms around him, he kisses you passionately and you melt into his touch.
