Shidou Ryusei ‧₊˚ ⋅ Relationship Heacanons + Mini Scenario

— Slow burn? What’s that? Neither of you know the concept of it because once you found each other… there was just absolutely no letting go. I mean, you have to be the rarest catch ever to be able to match the freak of Shidou Ryusei. Everything between you happens fast.

— Fast as it is, he’ll never let you forget how much he loves you. He’s so aggressive with his loving too (good luck; you’ll need it). Frenzied kisses, hugs that squeeze the life outta you, and all the weirdly sweet compliments are some of the things you can expect from him.

— Not much of a surprise, but the love language that he likes to give and receive would be physical touch. And we know he’s freaky as hell, but the touches don’t always have to be sexual. In fact, he looooves it when you pat his head and massage his scalp. It’s literally the only time when he’s calm and quiet.

— He never takes you out on dates and you don’t complain. Well, he doesn’t take you out on the TYPICAL kinds of dates. Neither of you like dinner dates or movie nights; they’re too boring. You’d much rather go get takeout at 2 AM and eat it in the parking lot. If it’s not spontaneous, then it has to be something that leaves both of you out of breath—laser tag, amusement parks, and paintball to name a few.

— Despite being on the same wavelength, you still fight quite a lot. However, it’s never so serious that you start shouting and hurting each other emotionally. Actually… most of your quarrels are super childish. The last thing you fought about was whether or not Gege should bring Gojo back. Spoiler alert: he’s a Gojo hater.

— I can totally imagine him watching anime with you. He’s lowkey a weeb, trust. It’s actually one of the more calm moments you have with him. That is, if you consider him reacting to every little thing happening to be calm. Best believe he’s shouting at the screen at the most hype moments of the show. He Naruto runs unironically btw.

— He’s… shockingly the possessive type? Like I can imagine that it took him forever to find someone like you, so the prospect of losing you to someone else pisses him the fuck off. He won’t try to hide it too. He’ll still be all sweet with you, but when you look away—whoever tried to poach you will be facing his wrath.

— People are convinced the two of you can communicate telepathically. You can just give each other a look and you both already know what it means. Soooo many inside jokes that if someone else heard the two of you talk, they’d give you a weird look.

— People wouldn’t usually invite Shidou out, unless you would be tagging along. With you around, Shidou isn’t much of a menace. The two of you become the fun couple that livens up the gathering. In short, y’all some crazy fun.

ᯓ Dancing scenario

It was one of those lazy Sundays that the two of you would spend hanging out in your bedroom. It was unusually quiet as both of you were busy scrolling through your phones. A different audio blaring from each of your devices while you scrolled through several Tiktoks.

"Ryu, look at this one," you say, thrusting the phone into his face. "Let's do this dance."

It was one of the simpler dances you found. Everything else was too complicated for the both of you to do in synchrony. You gave him some time to watch it twice and he grins.

The way he hurriedly got off the bed was enough to let you know that he was up for it. You followed suit, preparing your phone to record the two of you dancing like idiots.

Shidou was already practicing on the side. "Heh, this is easy!" But, alas, he was doing it horribly wrong as he always did.

Finally getting the phone ready, you smirk at his silly attempt at the dance and approach him. "You got it all wrong!"

Of course, he insists that he was doing it flawlessly. But you still show him how to do it. About 15 minutes have passed before he became decent at the moves. It's not like you wanted perfection—the mediocrity of your moves makes it funnier anyway. But at the very least, you wanted him to be able to resemble the dance.

"Alright, alright, just hit the record button already. Don't be so fussy. I dance better than you do!"

You playfully glare at him. "Yeah, whatever you say."

Once the phone started recording, you hurriedly went to your place beside him. The music starts and you were able to hit the first few moves. But as you neared the end, Shidou did a different move.

"See? Who messed up first?"

He doesn't own up to it, of course. Shidou, instead, demands for a 2nd take...

then another...

then one more...

then another take...

then, you finally couldn't take it anymore because how is it possible that the more you do it—the more mistakes the both of you do? In the last take, unfortunately, you were the one who messed up.

He gave you that look and you already knew he was going to rub it in your face.

"Hah! Told you I'm the better dancer."

Oh... he did not just say that.

Without another thought, you pounced on him like a wild animal. He should be thankful that your bed caught him, otherwise he wouldn't be attending football practice tomorrow.

You were a self-proclaimed jiu-jitsu fighter when it came to playfighting with him. Well, you don't know the moves or even the name of the moves—but the point is that you have to make him tap out no matter what.

To some extent, this was your little way of showing cuteness aggression—more so the aggression part. Sometimes he just gets on your nerves and this is the only thing that appeases you.

The two of you roll around on the bed, trying to gain leverage over the other. At some point, both of you almost fell off the bed. But he caught the both of you fast enough and flung you back to the other side of the bed.

As he recovered from that, you slipped him into a chokehold. It was a light one, of course. It wasn't like you wanted him to actually pass out.

"What? Gonna tap out?"

He smirks back at your cocky expression and taps your thigh to let you know he was throwing in the towel. He gave up without much of a fight, but that was his own way of letting you know how whipped he is for you.

Shidou might not be good with words, but you fall for his actions nonetheless.

You smile triumphantly at him. "Guess that makes me the better fighter huh?"

A devilish grin stretches across his dark expression

"I demand a round 2."

I can’t believe I’ve had such an intense revival into The Hobbit Fandom after being obsessed with the movies when they came out just over 10 years ago now. There’s just some fandoms that have consistently amazing fanfics that are written beautifully and with such interesting concepts.

Some of these are a bit silly and cracky but i think that’s the appeal of The Hobbit, it’s a bit more cheerful than LOTR (vehemently ignoring Battle of the Five Armies)

not to be overly applying real life concepts to a silly cw show lol but there's also something very perfect-victimy about the way people dismiss dean's victimhood vs sam's. like because dean's sarcastic or represses a lot of emotion or something people dismiss the things he went through. like obviously HE wants to forget about it and pretend it didn't happen, that's the point! but why are so many people dumb enough to hop right on board with that and literally erase/ignore things that happened to dean in the show (oftentimes in favor of pretending they happened to sam instead lol)... idk it's just a very weird thing that makes me feel protective of dean's character and what he represents in a way i don't usually with fictional characters. i love sam too but some of the samgirls or whatever take on a very cutting and aggressive tone that's slightly upsetting sometimes ngl. it just feels weirdly personal, not even at dean as much as like. anyone who dares to relate to dean as a character

i happen to think this "silly cw show" is actually far better at depicting complex trauma than people give it credit for.

but yeah, you are spot on here. it's absolutely about creating a perfect victim in sam and hyperfocusing on that while throwing nuance and context out the window entirely. even going all the way back to their childhood where dean is held fully responsible for the ways he responded to john's abuse by adapting rather than rebelling. dean is either considered responsible for his own situation or not a victim at all. he "liked" it, he perpetuated the "cycle", he was a lost cause, he was inferior to sam (and people loooove being classist about this, they think they're comedians) etc. which of course is NOT AT ALL the narrative presented to us by the show and erases the fascinating ways the brothers' arcs were paralleled throughout the seasons. for example, in season 2 you have dean only starting to confront the million ways john messed him up when he's not around anymore, just as sam is confronting his own destiny. the show explicitly links these two things yet dean is somehow generally viewed as the brother who's in charge of his own life. dean, who was controlled by his father until he was 27 and already in 1x11 admitting to sam that he admired him for making his own choices. i can't stress enough how "the one and only victim sam who completely lacks autonomy" is a fandom invention. and for what?

what you said about feeling protective of dean i think has always been part of his appeal. sam always had dean looking out for him, dean had no one. sam, even at his lowest, fundamentally valued himself and his own personhood, dean could never afford to because the survival of his family was up to him. he never coddled himself or let himself off the hook for a single perceived failure and i'm supposed to pile on? nah. his anger is so explosive in later seasons because he was never free to express his own feelings growing up and go through the regular stages teenagers and young adults do. i think there's a big effort to erase these nuances because if the actual story is taken into account, then it's impossible to forget how much dean went through so sam wouldn't have to. that sadly also ignores the impact it had on their relationship with dean's buried resentment towards sam, as well as sam's guilt for not always being there for dean in return. nearly every terrible traumatic thing sam experienced over the duration of the show is something dean had experienced already. at my most cynical, i think the purpose of reframing dean as this all powerful oppressor is because sam can only win the trauma olympics if dean is no longer vulnerable at all, no longer dean. and yes the trauma olympics approach is pointless, but if they're gonna insist on going there first, i'm not gonna hold back.

i mentioned sam's flinching and how it's valued as a trauma response compared to dean's anger but the thing is...before the cage, sam used to rage at dean and the entire world. his own anger nearly ate him up which he acknowledges multiple times. yet again, back when dean was fresh out of hell and sometimes genuinely freaked out by sam, including when he flinched at sam using his powers, it's still perceived as dean being cruel and abusive to sam. if sam feels bad about the moral implications and consequences of his actions it's because dean won't instantly get over it and support him. if dean doesn't trust him, it must be dean's fault alone. sam is the only one whose pov is taken into consideration and the only one whose feelings can be hurt. so it is a perfect victim thing but also about how only one of them gets to lash out and be vindictive and messy and remain sympathetic and good. essentially, sam gets to be a person but dean can only ever be sam's own personal giving tree.

it's classic fandom woobification with the childish "my fave can do no wrong" rhetoric, but since it's 2024 it's now hidden behind words like autonomy/cycles/abuse and passed around as objective analysis.

OH ANON what DOESN'T he do to me!!! here's a (definitely not comprehensive) list of things i think dadwin would do

will read every single book about pregnancy and parenthood that he's able to get his hands on (in the end he knows more about being pregnant than you do)

gender roles are a foreign concept to him. he will not take you for granted and will do anything to make sure you're comfortable and not stress after birth, completely unprompted

while he's raiding the store for books on pregnancy he makes sure he picks up TONS of children's books as well. he will build the baby's first reading nook himself.

speaking of building things: in my head he gets 100% into building things from scratch. he builds a rocking chair for you to nurse the baby in, a dollhouse, a swing set for the garden, all kinds of wooden toys... 🥺

he looooves reading aloud to his children every night, and playing with them as well, so much that you almost begin to forget who's the child and who's the parent (i just love the idea of erwin being a child at heart and letting it all out once he becomes a father)

of course he will teach his kids anything and everything, from history to astronomy to mythology to urban legends. and he answers every! single! question! that they might have. even if they're silly. he takes every single question seriously and goes on an endless tangent every time

he carries his babies around in these little slings (is that what they are called? well those things)

his genes are so strong all of his kids resemble him sooo much, you'd almost think that he gave birth to them

i feel like i could go on forever tbh dadwin just lives rent free in my head 24/7!!!

REGRETEVATOR HEADCANONS BOOOOO SCARY

Pest LOVES taxidermy, especially rouge taxidermy. Its a special interest of theirs and they've even tried some of it themselves. He's pretty good at it!!

Poob also likes taxidermy!! Though the specific process you have to do makes poob very squeamish and sick and icky,, (that being said poob IS NOT a uwu soft enby bean, they could kick ur ass lmao)

Poobians as a whole, are the embodiments of joy, happiness, and FUN!!!!!! They thrive off envoirments with high morale and general good vibes. Their population dwindles when said elements are scarce. If a poobian's mental health is hurt in anyway, that poobian's mental health will directly correspond to their physical health, causing the poobian to fall ill.

If a poobian falls to much into their pit of despair, they can "metamorphize" into a party pooper. Party poopers are the antithesis to poobians, thriving off of despair, sadness, and turmoil. Party poopers aren't inherently evil, but their nihilistic and melancholic nature can cause party pooper communities to be.. Not the healthiest space for anybody to be in.

Party poopers can remorph themselves into a poobian, but that requires extensive mental health intervention for that to happen. Depending on how much despair is in a party pooper, recovery can take as long as years.

To avoid this, poobians are a very social species. Full of many support systems ready to help any poobian! Though unfortunately, toxic positivity has been prevalent in some poobian societies. And there's a silent, but all to painful ableism riddled in poobian society as a whole.

Every poobian smells like their favorite food!

Pest has an EXTREMELY hard time empathizing, thanks to her undiagnosed aspd, npd, and autism. They also have an hard time realizing the concept of consequence and law. (this is pretty much canon expect for the autism part iirc but yeagh)

OKAY im glad you dont find it silly bc i have more modern earth things peter would have fun with!!

he looooves wireless headphones (over ear, obviously) because when hes dancing he always loses his balance when he got his arm wrapped in a wire. he can twirl freely now.

he does, however, hate it when you show him the footloose remake. he spends the whole time complaining.

i think he has a lot of fun with animals (bc of a certain best buddy he had back in the sky) and fucking LOVES funny animal videos and sends them to you all the time. also, he likely spends a lot of his time volunteering and rehabilitation facilities, especially those with rescued baby raccoons.

he would probably love a spielberg and scorsese marathon, two of the most famous directors from the time he left earth, to catch him up on their recent work. he really likes jurassic park but feels really bad for all the dinosaurs. also, ian malcom looks like a guy he met on sakaar once? and i think he’s just in awe of the fact that you can watch whatever movie you want and listen to whatever song whenever you want at any time of day. which is why the ORIGINAL footloose is somehow always playing in the background on the tv.

he doesn’t like a lot of popular music from nowadays, but he WILL listen to the deep cuts like a hipster. (don’t call him that, he doesn’t know what it means.) i could see him being really into psych rock and some blues rock from today. take him to lollapalooza, please. he’ll have the time of his life.

and lastly this isn’t exclusive to modern day but he obviously didn’t really get the chance to enjoy them as a child, he would fucking LOVE amusement parks. ride all the rides, play all the games to win you all the prizes. (he’s suspiciously impeccable at the shooting ones)

except, the amusement park thing is 100% true. no matter how big the ride is, he's on it (fury 325 im looking @ u). he has his hands up, "woo"ing like his life depends on it, and he invests in a fast pass because he's super impatient and hates waiting in the long lines. the carnies hate him because the games are obviously rigged, but peter still manages to win ? and he doesn't even know that they're rigged, he's just winning them back to back, betting he could do so whenever you try to tell him that they games are impossible to win. (he only wants a kiss and a slice of pizza, btw)

also, quill is always down for a movie night. for the first few months back on earth, he alternates between listening to music and watching movies. once he's caught up on his old favorites, he literally just rewatches them. he almost flat-out refuses to go to theaters and see new releases, unless it's from one of the older greats or possibly the newer ones (he likes some christopher nolan films, but he can't get into wes anderson). also the jurassic park bit is rlly getting me because he gets to the newer ones, and just pauses the tv whenever owen grady comes up because peter swears he's his long lost twin or doppleganger. and you're just playing with him, gaslighting him just a bit ("no, owen grady is hotter than you. you guys don't look alike at all").

he's also the type to see strays and bring them home, leaving you both to call around and figure something out. but he can't just leave them there. he'd rather have a barn for a house than have strays out there alone.

he would be so confused and a little offended if you called him a hipster, because he literally just doesn't ?? know ?? what you mean ?? at first he thinks you're calling him a hippie and that's way off. all he knows is that when you say "hipster", your voice has a teasing tone and you have a little smile that tells him it's not an amazing comparison.

my random thoughts on The Devil's Chord (posting here because it got deleted off letterboxd so my review also got deleted 😭)

Ok listen. I've been a Doctor Who fan since I was 16 and a musician of multiple instruments since I was 10. In between playing music every single day and coming up with silly Who headcanons with my friend during tutor group, I've certainly dreamt of a Doctor Who episode about the power of music. So the premise of this one really excited me!

Sadly I didn't like how it was executed at all. IMO they only scratch the surface of mythologising music's power and should have gone much deeper. I adored the scene with Ruby playing piano on the rooftop and would have loved to seen that taken further. I was hoping they'd explore the concept of sound itself since it's such a blurred line between what counts as music or not.

Ok music is gone but is crying not just a slow and sad version of singing? Doesn't your heartbeat remind you of a drum rhythm? What about rain or hail hitting a tin roof like a marching snare? Is a ticking clock not just a metronome? If music is gone, would humanity not find new ways of expression and perhaps music itself would reveal itself in hidden places (with The Doctor's help!) because music is just THAT powerful and we humans can't help ourselves!! [Insert The Doctor's I Love These Dumb Humans So Much speech]. Maybe I'm unfairly projecting my own fanfic idea from years ago onto this but lol idc my idea is better. Music is everywhere bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways the villain was genuinely fun and scary, except for all the connected backstory stuff which I didn't really care for. I didn't like that it became more about that instead of Music Is Awesome. Also didn't like that their defeat is from some illusive 'chord' which isn't really explained by any science or emotion. The Doctor Plays Random Notes Until Villain Dies. Really??? That's so boring and anti-climactic. I'd much prefer a The Love Of Music Prevails as an ending.

Looooved the production design, costumes, the '63 Who references, the way they played with the show's music score and had meta-humour. Kinda sucks there wasn't even a glimpse of a Beatles song. Couldn't everyone put their wallets aside to see two massive British staples combine their powers for good? And ok I DID enjoy the ending, it was extremely Bollywood of them ❤️

You know what, no time like the present! I know I've plugged this here before because I freaking love it, but "Forget All Your Duties" by Caddis. It's a reverse-AU-meets-TV-U fic and okay yes it has a Light Angst tag, but I only promised it would be limited to 10% angst okay

It's got everyone's favorite characters (just-a-bit-of-a-bastard!Aziraphale, protective!Crowley, guilt-complex!Crowley, fascinated-by-people!Aziraphale, acts-of-service!Crowley, vain!Aziraphale, getting-them-into-scrapes!Aziraphale...). I loooove the relationship demon!Aziraphale and angel!Crowley have — they're just as tightly bonded as in TV verse, but in a totally different way, y'know? Just like how book!Omens and radio!Omens are also eternally intertwined but not in the same way the TV!Omens pair are. I love how you can tell that Caddis took inspiration from all of them when figuring out the dynamics for a reverse pairing.

It's laugh-out-loud funny, but it's always played seriously, which is my favorite kind of humor. Well, except for in the footnotes; the footnotes can be terribly silly, but that's the job of footnotes, isn't it?

This is absolutely one of my comfort reads, and sometimes I'll open it up just for a brief peek, but then I'll get to a line like this and I'm just sunk and have to re-read the full thing:

“Well, my dear, I think we’re… somewhere else," [Aziraphale] says mysteriously, eyes gone wide and excited when he turns to look at Crowley, and oh, no, Aziraphale thinks they’re on an adventure.

Like, isn't that just delightful??

...and oh my gosh, I just realized it even has "everyone instinctively knows everyone else's pronouns without being told," which is honestly one of my favorite bits of the TV show, because isn't that just a great world to live in??

Ngghhhh, and I love their backstory. It's so good!! It fits in so naturally and it's so tasty...

I'd say re-reading "Forget All Your Duties" wasn't on my planned schedule for tonight, but honestly, it never is. It just happens.

i dislike that both plots with dr mora have involved with odo forgiving him in some small way...it's especially silly since the first dr mora episode had odo semi-forgive him and then in this episode go right back to hating him and then. forgive him again. ok.

it also rings false when dr mora is like yeah it WAS shady but i was under pressure from the cardassians and it was for your own good! vs damn when i realized you were a real person i felt bad about shocking you. like he literally SAID "spoil the rod spare the child" and odo was like "yeah good point" fuck off?? that's different from what he said and how he felt five minutes ago???

that said, i thought the ending was extremely touching. odo's child loving him enough to give him back his abilities WAH. AND!!! i loved how odo got to talk about how much he liked being a changeling and what it meant to him and how he would have liked to have been treated

i also liked the b-plot, aside from shakaar, who i felt was pretty petty and jealous for no reason?? i almost forget kira is seeing him bc we see and hear so little about him. but her missing the baby even though it's not hers is the complex kind of thing i love from ds9

coda (voy) (ohio edition):

so, this was billed to me by imdb as "janeway and chakotay are in a timeloop where she always dies at the end." and the first...15 minutes? was kinda that. and i enjoyed what we got of that immensely. mystery spot but it's your lover who you made a bathtub for once. except they only looped like 3 times

i loved the cpr. chakotay holding janeway's body and sobbing. mwah. immensely rewarding for the me community. what the hell was the rest of that

honestly? tng kinda did this concept better. the like "what if the afterlife is real" concept and then it wasn't that they were dead. like i hate to say that but ro laren did kinda do this better

i like janeway better as a CHARACTER but the PLOT was totally nonsensical. i still don't even know how much of that really happened and how much was her hallucinations. i'm choosing to believe the cpr was real though. and the crying

it was nice getting her dead dad backstory i guess but the whole episode felt very like...sloppily written? thrown together? unfollowable? i really want a timeloop episode :( add "jc timeloop but for real" to the list of fic i'll never write

i would have never forgiven him if he fucked her BUT HE DIDN'T FUCK HER. i read there was a lot of improvisation involved in this ep and also that garak's actor directed which probably has something to do with like. how good it was. like i was so worried the whole timje tom paris would fuck her because i was worried about HER and then by the end i was also WORRIED ABOUT TOM PARIS. like was this consensual for HIM (no)

equally, i love how uncomfortable vorik and tuvok were with each other. i would have thought it was just the opposite but then when it happened that was i was like wow of COURSE thats how itd be. like just so masterful all the way around

i even liked their little talk at the end. i thought tom paris was very respectful and tactful which is normally not his forte. like. tom paris good. can he be good all the time please

i did like nog doing the relays - i like him so much. and even though leaving on a busted ship was silly i thought it was impressive how they made it work on even less than the bare minimum

i just think sisko going darkside wasn't given enough weight, or they acted like it was fake, when he really did poison that planet? and i thought the constant book comparisons were a little silly and tng like. we literally did get lily calling picard ahab in first contact, and i liked that better than i liked this

Last year I found that I'm capable of shipping fucked up ship (controversial fucked up villain, you can compare him to Billy but worst, and MC basically) and it fucked with my head because I thought I was a bad person. It's silly but I finally got over it because I'm not. Then months later I found Hellcheer and I was so relieved because finally I found a WHOLESOME ship!! and then I dag deeper into the fandom lore and background and you can guess what bullshit I found, right?

You're talking to someone who shipped Jessica Jones and Kilgrave back in the day. I love me a fucked up darkship. (It was like me and one other person who shipped this and we did it under the cover of darkness because we were so afraid of getting harassed.) I even remember feeling that same kind of shame that I shipped it, because I know Kilgrave is a rapist, I know that canonically it is disgusting and I'm so glad canon Jessica murdered that fucker...

But in fiction, I can watch two characters destroy each other over and over again and no one gets hurt. And it took me years to realize that what I read and enjoy in fiction has zero bearing on what I condone and believe offline.

Perfect example? Johanna Lindsay novels. I loooove Johanna Lindsay novels, the trashier the better. Now I don't think there is a SINGLE Johanna Lindsay novel that has a genuinely healthy romance. She didn't even really address "consent" as a thing until the mid to late 90's (Her first book came out 1979) and even then, it was a wibbly concept and always the woman's fault that she didn't just sit back and enjoy it.

Now despite the fact that I am trying to get a copy of every single Johanna Lindsay novel (with the Fabio covers, you can keep your boring minimalist covers of the 2000s) and read them obsessively--

Okay, maybe I do a little bit, but if any of the guys I was seeing talked to me the way a Johanna Lindsay hero does his heroine, I would punch them in the face. She leaves that to me to talk about how bodice rippers represent female liberation. (I'll save you the TED talk.)

103. Destined With You

Everyone was raving about this show when it started airing so I planned on watching it when it was done. I didn't hear about it much after it aired so I assumed the ending was satisfactory 🤷

This show had so much potential, I loved the concept at the beginning and the direction the show was heading in but there were many things I disliked which I'll get to in a bit.

Let me start with what I liked. I am a huge fan of magic/spells etc so the book of spells was very interesting to me, the possibilities were endless.

I also love a good soulmates reuniting through reincarnation storyline. I looooved the romance between the leads, they gave us so many cute,fluffy scenes that had me grinning like an idiot. The best thing about this whole show is Rowoon in those perfectly tailored suits 🥵 especially when he was being all annoyed that this silly girl made him fall in love with her with a spell. So stinking adorable!

What I didn't like: Hong-jo needed to dial down the aegyo, she was doing the child-like voice and wide eyes way too often. When dealing with the murderous stalker Hong-jo and Sin-yu were very dumb 🙄 iykyk

I didn't see the point of the second lead. He could have been left out of the show entirely. And the storyline with Sin-yu's parents...was there a point?

What I would have liked to see was more of their past lives and more of an explanation about the stalker guy. Did he remember his past life? How did he know about all the ritual stuff? The ending felt rushed to me. And the curse just disappeared? Did it affect everyone in his family the same way? Just an early death or the red hand too? I needed more info!

I am recommending this show if you love fantasy, it's not the best but I was entertained for all 16 episodes.

oh man i'm not sure how much i can say about 246 words i wrote 3 years ago!!

1) it was originally for the drarry discord server's drabble challenge, where each month they release a prompt phrase and a word count limit and ppl anonymously submit drabbles. the prompt for this one was "return". i think it took me like 3 days to think of the concept after the prompt was released? and maybe another couple of days of actually writing it? i am Slow

2) i really really like it when something reads differently the second time through – this was written at the same time as i wrote the four doors, which does a similar thing. (i also almost did this same thing for all i have to do, which i also wrote that year, but eventually decided the tension was higher for that fic if the reader knew from the beginning what was happening)

3) someone once said something like "how did you fit two whole lines of foreshadowing into 250 words?" – i just threw this into a doc and highlighted the bits i'd personally consider foreshadowing and by my count there are 10 😂 maybe more? even in fics where there's no "twist" i LOVE having lil easter eggs of the ending throughout. i do it with four doors, i do it with my silly texting fic, i do it with the even sillier "harry gets a vagina" fic (that u recently wonderfully podfic'd!!!). loooove that shit. yum yum.

4) "returning like a faithful Crup" – this is an example of something i do a lot which honestly is a little cringe and not original at all: but i also love wizardifying sayings or using wizardy references when writing from the perspective of a pureblood. like it's silly. it's harry potter ffs. but imagining how characters think / perceive the world is one of my favourite (if not my favourite) things about writing – another reason why my silly texting fic was so fun to do, bc i got to think way too much about how everyone would text!

Recently started doing math again since i went back to school, but i found in my calc class i enjoyed a lot of it- derivatives, the rules of it, and i thought Taylor polynomials were fucking fun. I also really like probability problems. Im a big fan of gambling games and i wanna get good at them- its all like one big puzzle!

and last but not least, horror movies <3. Me and my partners really like slashers- The Hatchet movies are really good and have some fun effects. The first one is good, the second is... mid, and the third one is argued to be the best. I also really enjoyed The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Loved the concept- and i thought they did a fantastic job of keeping the suspense up.

HOO thats a long one and i have the memory of the size of a pea so im opening Map of Runeterra for this one. Its never too much to ask just dont mind me not remembering all the people that cohexists in league of legends universe im sleepy and obsessed with THAT one character.

Freldjord: Braum!! Who doesnt love that big guy. Honestly, he's fun, he's cute, he's very talkative and passionate about the things he likes so he feels relatable at least for me. And he's kind to everyone! and kind to creatures! Probably one of my 'shirtless TM riot men that i actually like' list. He's just wholesome and warm.

Demacia: Ahhh uhhh ummmm yeah ahhh... demacia huh... ummm... (On my pc Morgana's little icon under Demacia's name is the old splashart pre rework i just think its fucking funny)

Poppy! I know she's a yordle and that i already said that i love them but overall demacian characters feel a bit dull to me (not all of them, but if you know, you know...). I just love her big ass hammer and her story, and how she's so convinced that she's not the hero but everyone around her clearly nows it. I love how she looks! And i love her pigtails... I also liked her old design, wich surprises a lot of people when i express it. Yes, she was sometimes uncannily creepy... but she had cool splasharts in the past, and i didnt mind her being ''ugly''. Fuck Riot's concept of beauty.

Noxus: Hhahahahahhahah im terrible but im a sucker for Kled. I love that guy i already expalined this on previous posts. Playing league is my way to cope with roughness in life and has been present through a lot of my trauma and i started playing Kled when i had some peaks of anger issues, the thrill of his gameplay made me de-stress a lot and i love his quotes. He is also very charming in quotes! He's funny, he's silly and he's old and theres something unspoken going on there, brain weasels. I love that guy and her screaming lizzard she's my baby. I love Skaarl and how she has her own personality that often crashes with Kled but she's nonetheless always loyal to him and restores her courage to save his ass. Queen.

Piltover: Hummm probably Orianna. I say probably cause im unaware if her lore has changed from 2014 to this day. I love the concept of a human girl with such a loving father that tried so badly to keep her alive as she was dying and loosing parts of herself and how he tried to keep her with him until she became just a beautifully but souless creation. Its a character i actually like having no quotes related to her lore, in the end Orianna is already very much gone, she's now but an empty metal shell that only commands the ball and speaks souless about human emotions she so used to understand when she was human. Fun fact i was a sucker for BlitzxOri ship and i still think its funny and cute.

Zaun: Twitch... he's a rat. There's nothing more about it. I would say Janna but she's technically Shuriman but either way i will briefly say that i enjoy her in Zaun, queen is giving fresh air slay pop off. Back to Twitch, i always liked him! He's silly, i have his punk skin and i adore how he looks, he's silly and stylish... I also got his shadowfeet skin cause he reminded me of my pet rat Kenny and i bought it to try and cope with his passing, i upgraded him maestry 7 on his honour. I dont know! He's cute in all of his skins not just the ones that intently try to make him cute, punk one is great, and i loooove how his head looks in Ice King skin... He's just lovely, and munches on cheese. And stinks. Its literally so me.

Targon: Soraka, probably. She's a goat unicorn lady! What else can i say? Im a sucker for most of her skins mostly the old ones. I love program Soraka, its one of my favourite skins of her, i think she's neat when i dont analize it... if i did i would set in on fire probably. I dont know her gameplay is cool and its one of the firsts supports i started playing. I used to heal the minions when you could do that back in the day. I remember my shock face first time i healed someone and realized my health bar went lower like 'OH sharing is caring!'. Unicorn lady mom.

Shurima: Renekton. Only because he's a crocodile and 'crocodile' is the word i pop up in my mind whenever i overthink to make my mind blank, and because i think crocodiles are cool. He's stubborn and resentful. Just like meeeeeeee

The Void: Kog Maw... he's silly designed and right now im VERY hungry im feeling very Kog Maw right now. I dont knoooow he's silly and i love his skins that do not portray him as cute too... I love skeleton kog maw he's amazing sack of bones. Point of all this is because i think he's cute, mostly. I want to hug him and he would puke on me and burn me in acid. cutely, though. he ate and left no crumbs.

Ixtal: FOR SOME REASON QIYANA'S ICON HAS YASUO'S ILLUSTRATION what. Uhhh i dont know why Milio isnt in the list of Ixtal champions... I think Riot's map machine broke. Anyway. Milio!!! He's a sweet kid, with a lot of preassure on his shoulders but he's so carefree and confident but not in a smug way but in a 'i have to do it for my omele' and he's so fucking adorable with his little fire dudes... I loved his lore and his short story he DRAWS pictures of his adventures and sends it to his family it makes me sob and punch the wall because he's such a sweet child he deserves the whole world. He's here to bring the good vibe on Ixtal. When i started playing him i didnt read his lore and he was talking so lightheartedly of his family that my poor ass knowing Riot i said 'Those bitches are definetly dead' WELL TURNS OUT NO and im so very happy cause if his family isnt okay i will kill everyone in this room and then myself.

Ionia: Uhhh can i get uhhhh ummm like... an interesting champion i have no problems with? /jk. Jhin :) he's iconic, so iconic riot decided to bamboozle all of us with 200 dollars chroma LOL. Okay but there was a lot of Jhin fever when he was released and the early years of his existance and those were probably the years i had the most fun on tumblr. He's memeable, but you can also take him seriously and think that the guy is fucking crazy and excentric. He paints his nails so... bonus points. His hourglass body type in project: Jhin was so INSANE it made everyone wild in this website. For once there was equality, briefly. His face reveal was kiiiind of a letdown, i expect him to be more fucked up but well i guess that what is behind a mask is another mask. In castilian dub his voice is very recognizable, he's actually the same voice actor that does Batman voice! wich is very cool, but he also does the ads of Carrefour wich is a supermarket and sometimes you can bug your own mind and imagine Jhin selling you a kilogram of tangerines, its so fun. Jhin also canonically shaves his balls wich is not a personal preference of mine nor does this add to the why i like him i just felt like i should say that Jhin canonically and confirmed by a rioter shaves his balls.

Shadow Isles: Maokai he's a FUCKING tree oh my god. I loved that little instance of Ruined King when we saw a younger maokai he looks so silly and curious... I loved his little paper on the game. Also i dont know how are they called in english... does riot call them 'saplings' to the little guys Maokai throws around and that are sitting on his hand? In Spain they are called 'pimpollos' wich is the name i call my followers on instagram, actually im going to start calling everyone my little pimpollos :)

Bandle City: Teemo... he's the first champ i've ever known. He's short, he's an explorer, i dont think he's twisted he's just smart and that scares humans for his yordle powers. But he can also be a little bit of a dummy, like in Dont mess with the yordles. He KEEPS a DIARY oh my GOD i want to read it and it also feeds my Tristmo ship cause i imagine him drawing Tristana and doodling silly stuff while she is watching her train or thinking about her... He also has wich is, for me at least, one of the bests legendary skins in the whole game being that Omega Squad. That one sent me FLYING when he was leaked and i had started playing already for 5-6 months or so. I begged my dad to buy it. I loved his old interactive page that also eventually leaked and got into official league page where you could click on different condecorations and trinkets and he would drop his quotes about other yordles and champions. That skin messed my brain scheme forever. and when they released Omega squad tristana... my ship level RISED... He's a baby, but he can bite you if he wants. I will protect him from people that says he's a trash champion.
