what the fuck has happened to this fandom. genuine question. i wouldn’t normally say this at the risk of sounding like a right winger, but… everyone is so damn sensitive. i’ve had to turn off anonymous asks and limit my ao3 comments to users only because some of y’all are relentlessly nitpicky. it’s fanfiction. y’all need to touch some fucking grass.

i don’t think i’m going to continue writing fanfic anymore, specifically byler, bc some of y’all are just mean.

and i’m not talking about general critique bc that’s a stupid thing to quit writing over. i’m talking about those people who comment on shit they know absolutely nothing about, or attack me personally via replies or dms. for some fucked up reason y’all get off on being nasty to me, a complete stranger who has done absolutely nothing except write, oh i don’t know, over 100k words of byler content.

listen, i write for fun. i write because i love it. but man are y’all sucking the joy out of writing for me. i don’t owe y’all shit if you don’t fucking appreciate it. so i’m done, at least for now.
