Hello Ms. Lore,

I’m not gymrat anon but everytime I go to the gym this following scenario pops into my brain bc the way he scans the courtroom in each of his appearances makes me think he plays the gym-eye-tag game like nobody’s business:

You and him have seemingly similar gym schedules bc you see him there frequently. You lift weights in a gym that’s primarily male so it’s normal for you to get some looks like you’re out of place. But He stares more than usual. Not in a domineering, intimidating way, but in a curious, soft, shy way. It’s like he’s in awe and can’t help himself. You can see in the mirror that he glances at you often but whenever you turn to look at him, he quickly looks away, head turned to the floor.

On one machine, you need a 5lb weight plate, so you look over to the squat racks to try to find a stray one but you find that he’s already looking at you. He looks away but you maintain your attention on him as you walk over to him. He becomes visibly nervous as you walk toward him, looking behind him to see what you could possibly be coming over there for lol. You point to the weight plate and ask to borrow one. He stammers and finally chokes out “yeah.” As you do your sets, he tries as hard as possible not to look (think the side-eye thing he was doing dec 23 in the hallway when he was trying not to look at the cameras). When you finish up, he’s still at the rack so you return the plate.

Because you’re feeling bold (and bc this is in my imagination hello), you say something like “is my form really so bad that you need to be watching me that intently” OR SOMETHING (pls give your thoughts). And he’s just stammering and then you’re finally like “my names _______ btw do you mind if I work in with you here”

Instantly, you kinda play up the chatty, confident thing, acting oblivious to how nervous he is. Usually when ppl work in with you, it’s like you’re still in your own world but you make it a point to kinda make slight comments or observations since he’s not wearing headphones. After you’re done, you thank him and then walk away and he’s just like ???? and so flustered the whole time. But the next time you go to the gym, you ask him to spot you and over time, you guys start adapting to each other’s schedules and end up doing full workouts together. Idk I like the idea of him being sorta shy and you being very confident and outgoing bc you do have to develop some amount of confidence to weight lift as a girl (it’s so intimidating sometimes).

Idk if anyyyy of this makes sense but it’s so detailed in my mind I needed to get it out <3 good luck with the rest of ur semester 🤗🤗🤗

i so agree w u like he so would be the type to make gym eye contact tag!!! his stares don't feel like other creepy men who have no problem undressing you with their eyes... it's more just curious and cute

and i love it bc he seems intimidating at first he's sooo buff and hot and he certainly gets his own stares when he's there lol but the reality of him actually being soft spoken and shy asf when u m approach him 😭😭

like he was NOT prepared for anything to come from him looking over at u through the mirror like 🥺 (although he very much welcomes this). but do not expect any eye contact now lol...

would soo be panicking when u come up to him and nooo stop i love asking him that and he would be like 😲 but that doesn’t phase u u just introduce yourself and ask what his name is

and omg yes i totally agree (i don't weightlift but its sooooo fucking awesome to me) but anytime im even in the gym w a bunch of men and im using my little 5 lb weight … im just trying to project some level of confidence <3 i just really like the dynamic of lu being shy and you're more confident esp when u first meet… and whenever u flirt with him even until like a couple months into dating he’d get flustered/red so easily

heeellooo!!! ^_^ thank u sm for ur compliments lovely xx means a LOTT! im gonna give u some advice based on my own personal experience on tumblr for the past 4 years (also had a previous writing acc with 4k+ a year or two back) :

start with setting up your writing blog! it’s important to let your future followers know what they’re getting into by following you and what your boundaries are. essentials to make: “blog rules page” — put your DNI (do not interact if…) section and BYF (before you follow) section in there | “request rules page” is also important if you want to take on requests from anons | “masterlist page” to put all your published work in one place | “about me page” if you want to tell people information about yourself.

for examples on how those pages can look, you can click on my profile & see how i did / set up my pages + take inspo!

it’s also partially important to have a easily navigable / aesthetically pleasing theme or layout. this will capture more attention of others. well, that’s speaking from my experience. something aesthetically pleasing to look at adds so much to the appeal !!!! i personally love it when writing blogs have a cool / cute / interesting theme bcs it catches my eye and makes me check out their works more.

after setting up your blog, you can start publishing a work of fiction. use the tags wisely and accordingly. jjk related fic example: ‘jjk x reader’ , ‘jjk smut’ (only if it is smut), ‘jjk fluff’ (only if its fluff), ‘gojo x reader’ etc etc etc ! you can follow what the writers you follow do with their posted fics. but make sure to tag properly. (p.s if you created a separate new acc, make sure that you give it a day or two bcs tumblr has to confirm that you aren’t a bot before your account is visible in tags)

keep in mind; gaining notes and followers can take days, weeks to months !!! please don’t get easily demotivated because your fic isn’t getting the notes you thought it would have. especiallyyyy at the start of your writing tumblr acc!!! i know how it feels, but i can reassure you that there will be people who will show up and appreciate your work one day!

interact with readers. interact with people who leave comments, show them that you appreciate the support they give you !! u can also make appreciation posts for ur readers and thank them for their support to let them know that it means a lot!!

interact with other writers!! reblog their fics, leave comments, pop up in their inbox with a small message — that’s how u mostly start making mutuals. mutuals will literally get u FARRRR on tumblr (ofc dont just use the other writers solely for the purpose to make ur fics get more notes . . . people easily get blocked by many if they do, they would by me too). but im sure many writers on here dont mind to spread your fics without you directly having to ask for it. if u just interact and make friends, that will follow automatically!

write what you want, when you want. getting ideas for fics can take some time, but when you do have an idea, write it down somewhere. you dont have to instantly write the entire fic — take ur time!!!!! don’t feel pressured to constantly post fics, i’m sure your audience understands that you have a life outside of tumblr.

but! posting constantly at the start of your tumblr acc can take u far as well. if u constantly appear in tags, ppl will get curious abt ur account. but don’t feel pressured to bcs it can easily burn u out !! just a little thing that i did at the start of my acc

YESSS ANIMALS AND PLANTS AND PRETTY THINGS IS LIKE MY MAIN PURPOSE W MODS ok heres a list w links and brief descriptions so u kinda know whats going on <3 ill kind of categorise them too... 

some laptops seem way better than others at handling mods but i would say just pick and choose ur absolute favorites and if thats too much for it then take one out until its more manageable! my laptop handled mods very well but i dont think i had THIS many on it hadflkjghdfkjlghndklfjhg

animals:

ice and fire adds dragons and TONS of like fantasy animals and some scary mobs too!!! u can tame most of the animals and theyre all very unique and SUPER cool! u can ride some of them, theyll fight for u, etc... its very configurable like u can change spawn rates and stuff, i personally turned dragons WAY down so theyre very rare to come across, bc they kill u like instantly and also cause a ton of lag if theres a lot at once, and theyre default spawn rates are ummm too high lol. but yah this is one of the best mods i think ever probably...i love it sm its like a classic

better animal models makes vanilla animals look cuter and better and better animals plus (by the same ppl) adds a bunch of other animals that are rly cute! a lot of them are tameable and theyre very well thought out

genetic animals adds a bunch of dif breeds + colors and new breeding and feeding mechanics to farm animals, its kind of new but very well done but i really really love it! if you use it in conjuncture with better animal models, it replaces to vanilla farm animals but not the wolves and foxes and stuff, so they work very well together. also the chicken babies are like incredibly teeny tiny and adorable. and it lets you be able to ride llamas and cows with saddles and bridles... i could go on (this mod is what i use in place of animania, my favorite mod ever, but that one hasnt updated past 1.12)

alexs mobs also just adds a bunch of new animals, almost all of these are tameable and very unique, i LOVE that it adds crows lol you can also ride some of these animals once u tame them... u can also configure spawn rates for these if theres ones you dont want or want more of, etc. they update pretty often with new animals as well

realistic horse genetics is a super well done mod that makes horses come in wayyyyy more colors, it also has them come in different sizes and stuff...basically what it says in the name but its like. INCREDIBLY well done i couldnt live without it lol

exotic birds adds a ton of pretty birds! it also adds a rare phoenix you can obtain and tame, and ride, which is cool! you can keep birds in birdcages breed them and incubate eggs and all kinds of stuff

making stuff pretty:

biomes o plenty is super popular and really awesome, adds a tonnnn of new biomes with their own trees and wood types and plants and stuff! theres also some cool rare biomes (this mod also works well with all the animal mods); and some other biome mods i kinda cycle between are terraforged (also makes terrain generate better, smoother and stuff and super configurable! this works alongside mods that add biomes) and traverse is good too

macaws roofs, doors, windows, furniture, fences, etc are good for making ur houses pretty! i havent done much w this yet bc i havent built a house since i got it, but it looks really nice

diagonal fences does what it says on the can its suuper convenient and i like it a lot since i make a lot of animal pastures hehe... and it works with custom fences (so if you have macaws fences it will work for those too!)

fairy lights adds paper lanterns and string lights which look way better than torches! also lets u make flag banners and stuff

falling tree lets you chop a tree down in 1 swoop, and automatically destroys the floating leaves so u dont have floating trees and stuff everywhere...might seem cheaty but i like it lol (i also use this in place of dynamic trees, which makes trees BEAUTIFUL but, again, hasnt updated past 1.12)

i also use the unity resource pack (i like this one bc it makes colors more coordinated and muted! my ocd lollll i also like mizunos of courseee) and sildurs vibrant shaders (sildurs is pretty graphics intensive but the lite or medium versions are less so! there are also less intense shaders out there, this is just the one i use)... for shaders to work u need optifine (which also adds dynamic lighting! i.e torches will light the way when you hold them without placing them, stuff like that. its also just good to have, it optimises your game better to prevent lag)

SO YEAH LOL those are all the mods i use rn! some of these have dependents you have to download to make them work (like biomes o plenty requires open terrain generator) but they tell u that on the download pages and stuff, just look out for that <3 also most of these mods have wikis if you wanna know how to tame an animal or crafting recipes and stuff like that, i pretty much keep the wikis open whenever im playing lol. idk how much u know abt the like process of installing mods n stuff but if u need help hmu and ill try to help!

Wow my first asking for writing advice. Whew idk why you chose to ask me boo because I just talk out my ass (I’m kinda kidding). Thank u bby and let me try to say something useful. Kinda long????

Well 1st off watching the anime/reading the manga is very helpful (although I havent read the manga in its entirety hence why I dont write some characters). Focus on who you want to write and pay extra attention to them and how they act/respond. Look at the wiki if you want summarizes personalities

However what I mostly do is READ. There are so many writers on here and more often then not people kinda specialize in a certain character/ group of characters. Find a writers who [you think] perfectly encompas what a character is like. Even if it gives you a slight direction. Like I’d like to think I have a pretty decent grasp on sakusa (or that’s what y’all mfs been lying and saying) For example to me noora (@ below) perfectly encompasses suna. (She also has character breakdowns too which are great) and with that I’ve built up my own idea on how he would act and it’s literally the suna in my head whenever I write him.

Another tip is pull from ppl you know irl. I tend to do that for atsumu and kuroo. Find some traits you think you can see a character do/say

Also: check out character breakdowns!!!! They are great as well as those posts that are like “most mischaracterized characters”

thank you @wearelikenanana for tagging me in this!! im super excited bc ive been listening to a lot of different artists lately but this was really stressful bc of how many people i listen to.. so yeah!

1. freddie dredd: i knew about him because of edits from the pretty girls on twitter, and then i found out he makes songs because of tik tok, i’m not ashamed to admit it. most if not all of his songs start with samples that works really well into the song and i kinda dig it?? his songs aren’t that long and they’re super catchy filler music but he’s definitely not for everyone lyrics wise so i’ll rec his popular singles

2. joji: i dabbled in the world of filthy frank and then i remembered i wasn’t an edgy 12 year old white boy so i stopped, but i love joji so much. he makes like bedroom r&b-ish type songs, they didn’t feel like professional songs until his newest stuff and i’m perfectly fine with that.

3. rina sawayama: i don’t think there’s an artist that i could love more tbh?? all her songs are so different and so good at the same time like i don’t have words to describe how much i love her music fghsnjnsgudihusfg i feel like im 16 again but like waaaay more introspective and grown

4. doja cat: queen of homophobia! after moo! i canceled her ass after her whack ass apology but like the other gays didn’t care and like what was the point? she’s talented as hell!! listening her songs makes me feel grown lmao. i love that she can sing and rap, its like getting a feature but you’re never disappointed by the rapper

5. tame impala: everyone and their mother knows tame impala but that’s my mf band dawg. each song kevin parker puts out makes me a better person. i love his voice i love how relatable their songs are like with rina i just feel like im a more introspective high schooler

6. megan thee stallion: my old roommate is the one that introduced me to meg lowkey by force, lowkey but im not mad i love her. most people are getting tired of her flow but its hers! if it ain’t broke she shouldn’t fix it, also some of her lyrics are really funny

7. still woozy: the first of white men feel good music (i found him bc of an edit of someone in this list you can prob guess who). besides rina this is probably the most recent artist i’ve gotten into and its a great time, he does that whisper-sing thing that most artists do nowadays but it’s not hard to understand if that makes sense?? but he’s quickly becoming a fave

8. the driver era: last ever wbotm ross lynch and his brother make the BEST feel good music holy shit. i used to listen to their songs whenever i would go to class (rip) because i felt like nobody could tell me anything, i was in my own world

9. wallows: i DON’T watch 13rw, i simply live for summery music made by lanky white men sometimes. their music is such a vibe back when outside was legal i also used to listen to their songs when i walked to class because it puts me in such a good mood 10/10

10. emotional oranges: i almost forgot about them omg i found them by accident, looking for a starter song for a playlist back when i used spotify and the rest was history. they’re actually an anonymous collective from la with two lead singers that are phenomenal, their music is like the border of bedroom r&b and soul. my crowning achievement was seeing them live for 22 dollars i love them sm

oh this is ?? kind of a tough one bc i feel like i never Branched out in my spaces when it comes 2 being productive,, like a lot of my work is done in my bedroom just bc my desk is there and it’s the most convenient,,,, honestly im jus gonna say my favorite place to write would be from . my desk . bc it faces the window :-)

2. which character(s) from your wip(s) is your favourite?

since i only have wtsf confidently worked out ,, i’ll use those ocs !! but i think , quite Honestlie ,,, that wendy is my favorite character !! im rly in love with how she progresses as a person nd also she’s jsut . she gets it u know .

3. what are some inspirations for your wip(s)?

I TALKED ABT THIS BEFORE but b/ts’ hyyh series, my neighborhood, spring day by b/ts are a few inspirations for wtsf !!! 

4. how did you start writing?

my dad got me hooked on reading when i was really really young !! and being able to read abt all these huge worlds nd being given an opportunity 2 fall in love w them rly inspired me to want to write worlds of my own . plus , i watch a lot of different shows nd animes that feed into my daydreams nd sometimes im like ‘yo,,, that was a good daydream,,,,, time 2 story it’ .

5. which of your ocs is most difficult to write?

uHGHHGHGS ARTHUR ...... trying to capture this like . enigmatic feeling while keeping close 2 his reasons for acting That way is actually ,, rly hard?? hes a tough cookie 2 crack but i will crack it .

6. what aesthetic do you associate with your wip(s)?

for wtsf ,,, quiet towns , lonely beaches , sunset nd sunrise ,,, running through the streets ?? 

7. do you like planning?

YEA !! i see it more as like . being able to explore ur wip and what directions it can take nd its also jsut rly helpful to have a solid foundation .

i pulled this from my drabbles but: “Slow down.” Wendy grabbed Arthur’s wrist, pulling him down to sit on the sand. “This world can’t keep up with you.”

yes and no ?? im very particular to the kind of music im listening to nd more often than not, i write in complete silence ,,, but sometimes i’ll find a song that i feel rly fits the vibe of what im writing nd i just put it on repeat HGSHJK

i think i like the descriptive aspects of it ?? like how i describe places nd feelings ,,,, :-) !

everyone except piper in wtsf is graduated from high school but ,, wendy liked english class the best bc it was fun nd she got good grades !! rafael definitely loved psychology nd took it at an ap level ,, arthur liked math nd chemistry .. chemistry he liked More bc he got 2 blow stuff up SKKSKSEH and piper likes world history!! tho shes not good at it . but she likes it!!

if i had 2 be trapped on a desert island ...... i’d probably choose rafael . honestlie he just seems like he always knows what’s up nd my chances of survival would increase w him JHGJKSJKS

what is your favorite medium to write?

definitely novels !! its a format i’ve pretty much grown up w and im more comfortable w this medium than any others GHSHJKS but i’d love to explore like ,, screenplays nd see where that takes me

HYLLY SHITTTT THIS BRINGS ME BACK SJHJHJGJKS i used to draw a lot back when i was younger nd so i had this oc JHJS his name was ian and he was meant for the maximum ride universe but he was a dumb dude who was 2% cat . nd he had an adopted sister ,, i forgot her name but she was part bird .

what was your first wip about?

world end club is supposed 2 be abt a group of teens who work together 2 take down a corporation that wants 2 essentially control the artificial island they live on thru engineered soldiers . ITS A CONCEPT ,, nd it requires a little Too Much for my one brain cell to think abt

thoughts on shakespeare?

uhhh no thots bc i never read his work in high school i jus know macbeth is cursed .... wow i rly dont know anything abt shakespeare huh .

poetry or prose?

o this is TOUGH i rly adore both .......... im gonna . im gonna go w prose . i lvoe poetry so much sometimes there are lines that just rly fucken punch u in the face but im gonna go w prose bc its familiar !!

oKAY SO im gonna try to not make this too long SJKHJGS !! wendy is a very like . prickly character . shes like a cactus . nd she’s not too fond of letting ppl get close, but the ppl who do manage to get close to her are happie 2 learn she would actually die for them . loyalty is a Huge Huge part of her character, and she cares very deeply abt the people she calls family . shes also v sarcastic nd like . ‘open ur eyes dummy’ .

arthur is a kind of person who lives heavily on false pretenses . like he projects this image bc its an image that he can control nd he jsut Rolls w it , but hes actually someone who likes 2 tease his friends nd be friendly to them ,, hes got Issuez nd is very much the type of person to be like ‘o lol im ok :-)...’ nd prioritize the needs of others 

rafael is , in all honesty , just babey . he studied a lot during high school nd rly pushed himself beyond his limits bc he wants to be able 2 go 2 a good college on scholarship nd get a job 2 support his family , nd hes just ?? very responsible nd sweet but that can also manifest into him taking on more than he should nd burning out . 

piper is a very ,, honestlie kinda sad character kjHGJSJ she spends a lot of time just trying 2 appeal to other ppl bc she knows her interest in the supernatural make her a ‘weird’ person nd she wants to be able 2 have real friends ,, but when she learns 2 let go of this she’s very silly nd always making jokes During The Right time ..

Wendy, unlike her brothers Adam and Nate, had inherited her father’s rough touch, and that made them both unwanted in the high stakes setting of a diner kitchen.
