For the ask game: Hyrule gets whumped

“Hyrule.” Warriors’ voice suddenly rose above the static buzzing in his ears. Hyrule blinked in surprise, squinting up to see that the other man was leaning above him. “... focus. I need you….”

Warriors needed him…?

Was someone injured? They were all out of healing supplies, so Hyrule’s magic was their own hope if someone was badly injured. But he had used all of it during the fight, he hadn’t even had enough left over to heal himself, and he knew that it wouldn’t regenerate fast enough to… to….

“...rule, focus on me.”

Someone was tapping his face. Hyrule twitched in discomfort, dragging his eyes open again (when had they closed?) to glare up at the captain.

The blurry face gave him a comforting smile. “There we go.”
