something that crosses my mind from time to time is how chat fics mostly aren't really structured like text?? like yeah, okay, the characters are chatting and all but! sometimes they're in the same room chatting?? for no reason too!

so that got me thinking and some of these could benefit from being structured like a script! it wouldn't change much just give more clarity into some of the action of the characters and maybe help the flow.

and like, I'm not shitting on the genre as a whole, far from it, while i don't write them myself, i do include texts in some of my own work! i enjoy chat fics, but i feel like there are other ways to structure a fic and maybe authors could try innovating a bit.

maybe it would feel odd at first, reading script-like works, it's a weird mix of styles that can take some getting used to, but i feel like this can introduce people to a more dynamic way of writting and maybe a new passion!

so yeah, rant over! to summurize: maybe writters could innovate with styles (if they feel like it)
