Hi! I love your art!
Is there anything non-spoilery you can say about Choso in the atla au? 🥺
WAAAhh thank u !!! tbh as fond as I am of the design I came up with for him in this au there's.....really not much to say abt him either....he's a pretty minor character but because of the nature of the role he /does/ play there's not much non-spoiler material involving him that isn't just . the same as canon :'<
however in the interest of not leaving u high and dry here is a rare excerpt from the Lore Scroll and a quick draws of him looking menacing for u ! i hope that will suffice in lieu of Actual Information <3

“Oh no no no no no.” You mumbled to yourself as you ran down the hallway passing numerous apartment doors. The clacking of your heels against the high gloss marble floor filling and bouncing off the archways of the corridors as you passed them. You weren’t going to make it as you watched the aged ornate gold elevator doors begin to beep while it slowly closed.
“Please! Wait!” You begged to whoever was already inside.
At the final moment a black boot stepped out, allowing you entry.
You exhaled in relief as you quickly stepped inside clutching your purse tightly and scanning the person waiting inside. Your eyes, for the first time setting on the brightest set of purple colored eyes you’ve ever seen. An immediate tell that this man was no ordinary human man. His black unruly hair falling slightly over those eyes and a unique mark crossing over the bridge of his nose. He smirked at you, his cocky side grin making you clench your jaw. But you already know who he is. It was non other than your handsome neighbor Choso.
You offer a weak smile to the tall elusive male, who looked not much older than you and quickly face forward staring at the large panel of buttons. You eyed the glowing buttons quickly before finding the one that takes you to the lobby. Pressing it impatiently hoping you’d get there faster. You realized your button was the only one that’d been pressed.
You coughed softly and turned to him. “Which floor?”
“Lobby’s fine, thank you doll.” Choso answered slowly, a undertone hiding in his voice that makes your skin crawl. It’s just like what you’ve heard about those who are beautiful creatures, even their voices are made to lure you.
You curtly nod. As the sound of his voice rings in your ears repeating the word over and over again. Doll...Doll...DOLL.
You shouldn’t be surprised with how naturally charming he already is from just a short interaction. You assume it’s how he managed to hold a rotation of the seemingly same women you could hear moaning his name in the dead of night while you tried your best to fall asleep. You could practically blame the guy for the amount of times you nearly woke up late from the lack of rest you’d been getting.
An awkward silence seemed to settle over the both of you as the elevator whirred it’s way down. You tapped your foot growing more and more impatient with each passing moment.
“Come on stupid old elevator.” You muttered as you pressed the lobby button several times over and over and over again. “Go faster.” You said as you saw the antique dial above the doors slowly move indicating you were barely passing the thirteenth floor.
Choso snickered behind you. Interrupting your thoughts.
“What?” You ask raising a brow.
“My apologies for being in here.”
You seem taken aback by that. But you realize what your impatience must look like. Being mistaken for fear or disgust of his kind. But it’s October, this is his month to be out without any fears. He has the right to be out just as any other person.
“I’m not scared of you, I’m just running late to work.” Thanks again to you. You can't help but to think. You go back to pressing the button. “Come. On.”
“I don’t think you can make it go faster.” Amusement from his tone making you roll your eyes.
“I know that!” You turned back to the button panel quickly ignoring him. “Hurry. Up!” You said as you jammed your finger into the lobby button, holding it down hard as it beeped endlessly.
Suddenly all the lights on the panel lit up brightly then began to flicker violently. You quickly let go but it didn’t stop the endless beep just as the antique chandelier above you slowly dimmed out and the elevator came to a loud screeching halt making the ground shift beneath your feet. You felt your stomach drop. As the silence settled.
“What the hell did you just do?” Choso asked.
“N-nothing! I didn’t do anything!” You stared back at him like a deer in headlights and taking a quick step away from the panel of buttons.
“I told you it wouldn’t go faster.” He said crossing his arms.
“I- I know! But I didn’t think it’d kill itself! I was just smashing a button!”
Choso narrowed his eyes at you. “Say that again but slower.”
You scoffed. "Whatever-"
The elevator interrupted your quarrel ringing out a loud sound of what you could only describe as engine failure.
You exhaled sharply, “Oh shit.” Sounding utterly terrified. Shifting your eyes around you to try to take in your surroundings with what little detail you could make out in the almost darkness.
“So...uhhh do you have any special powers?” You ask him as you look around for an escape feeling the sides of the elevator walls.
“Ahh so you wanna get to know me?” He asked grinning at you. From what you could tell.
You grimaced at him and snickered. “Tch No! I’m asking if it’ll help us get out of here.”
“Relax, I know that.” He leaned against the wall and held out his hand, palm up as you watched blood appear from seemingly nothing and causing a red glow to illuminate the elevator. At that you shrieked and slapped the odd floating blood away, splatting across the wall.
“What the hell!” Choso complained “You asked!” He growled baring his fangs at you.
“Conjuring yourself some blood isn’t gonna get us both out of here!” You argued, not backing down from his sudden outburst.
He exhales in annoyance. “Yah whatever. So not very helpful in this situation.” He looked at the ground. “What about you?” He asked.
You looked up at him before shifting your eyes away. “Ummmm I’m just a human, nothing supernatural.”
“So, your essentially a warmed up blood bag?” He asks.
“A what?” Is all you can respond with at this point as you puff out your cheeks as he laughs at you.
“I’m completely joking with you.” He says through his laughter.
"Well, im not warm now." You complain as you rub your arms a bit, realizing you forgot your sweater in your apartment. You wait a few beats before you speak again. “You are a vampire, yes?”
You think you see his jaw tense before he answers you. “Fledgling vampire. But yes, I am a vampire.”
He sees your expression surprisingly brighten at hearing that, which confuses him. It’s typically not the normal reaction he gets from humans.
You’ve never actually met a vampire or a fledgling, but they say fledgling vampires have much more restraint, and they can walk in the daytime. “Who turned you? Wait, how old are you?” You can't help but to ask. When you were younger, you had dreamed of one day being one. But here you are, still a human.
“You ask a lot of questions. And that’s incredibly personal.” He simply answers while pulling out his phone from inside his sweater pocket, eyeing it as the screen lights up his features. He holds it above his head before giving up. “Fuck. No service.” He sighs.
You suck in your breath sharply before digging yours out of your purse.
“Ha! Mines got service!”
“Great call the fire squ...-“ The vampire deadpans at you. Seeing you’re not calling anyone.
“What are you doing?” He asks, thoroughly confused.
“I’m not gonna get fired if I don’t die.” You quip as your fingers tap quickly on your screen. Choso watches in disbelief as you text what he assumes is your boss.
Tumblr media
You roll your eyes at Gojo’s text.
“Okay, let me just...” You begin to say as you dial the emergency number holding it up to your ear.
All you get is silence. “What the heck.” You breathe as you check your phone. Realizing it died. You gasp in horror and look up at Choso apologetically.
He shakes his head at you in utter disbelief. The buns in his hair shaking.
“Y- You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. You know you have your priorities backwards, you must know that, right?” He says throwing his hands up in defeat as he laughs at the ridiculousness.
You let your back press up against the cold elevator wall. Banging your head lightly a couple times. “What do we do now?” You ask.
Choso pushes himself off his side of the elevator and walks the small distance to you. Leaning next to you. A bit too close for your comfort. “Wait. I guess...Shouldn’t be long before someone notices.” He shrugs his shoulders. His voice suddenly coming off too casual for the situation you are both in.
You groan and let your eyes close a moment. Your other senses taking over. His coldness was radiating off him and freezing your left side without him even touching you. You suspect it’s due to him being a vampire.
Choso is the first to break the silence between you. “I’m Choso, I live in 103.”
“Yah I know.” You respond a little too quickly.
“You do?” He says, letting his crooked smirk spread on his face.
“Yeah...I live in 102”
“You’re kidding...You’re 102?” Not hiding the shock in his voice he runs his hand through his unruly black hair. As he looks you up and down.
Your feelings betray you, slightly offended that he doesn’t already know who you are. Your curiosity piques as to why he seems so shocked.
“Y-yah? What of it?” You ask, feeling betrayed by your own wavering voice.
“Ohhhh nothing.” Choso teases, putting his hands in the pockets of his pants.
You narrow your eyes at him.
“What do you mean nothing?” You cross your arms and drop the side of your hip.
He chuckles softly at your panicked tone. “Don’t worry about it doll.” Smiling, more to himself than you as he can finally put a face to the sound of your voice. Always reading out loud in the early hours of your weekend in your room adjacent to his. Or the way you get excited and yell while you’re playing one of your video games or when you’re singing while you shower. He cursed his hearing sensitivity. But he couldn’t deny that he found himself enjoying those mornings more and more when your voice would lull him awake through the thin wall. He should’ve been annoyed by it. In any other case he would be, but your voice was far too sweet and he had a sense that you had some depth to you. Unlike his usual blood bag he’d sink his teeth into.
He was happy to discover your face matched the sound of your voice.
You feel a warmness spreading across your cheeks and are happy for once that it’s too dim for him to tell.
Unbeknownst to you he can tell. He can sense the heat as it slowly spreads from the apples of your cheeks down to your chest. Just as easy as it is for him to sense the shivers going down your spine and up your arms.
Cute. He thinks.
“Whatever, it can’t be worse than what I know about you.” You say, a tinge of annoyance in your words.
“And what DO you know about me?” He asks, leaning closer to your face. You slide yourself away from him in an exaggerated manner. Implying heavily that you want him to keep his distance though he doesn’t get the hint. Or maybe he does but is enjoying messing with you. He scoots closer, this time, his shoulder pressed against yours, letting his coldness radiate into your side. The intense chill surprises you just as he is surprised with an unexpected thumping in his chest, quickening with excitement.
“Can’t hear you little one...” He drawls, his voice sounding an octave lower.
You almost want to lean closer to him but you don’t want to let him get the best of you. You slide away again being stopped by the corner of the elevator. Choso shoots a mischievous grin as he traps you in the corner. Placing his hands on either side of your face, caging you in. You pick up on the sweet smell of his addicting cologne filling your senses. He gently places his knee in between your thighs, against your will you release a soft, pathetic whimper.
Choso’s eyes widen at your sound as he leans closer to you. The sound instantly making him see you as the delicious prey that he believes you to be. “What was that hmm?” His cold minty breath fanning your face.
You want to bury yourself further into the metal wall of the elevator and hide. Unable to look away from his dilated dark eyes. Fully aware of his thigh pressing more firmly into you.
You forcefully slide down and scoot out of his arms before he could act on his vampiric desires. Finally free and stepping away from him you distract yourself by smoothing out the linen fabric of your black blouse and skirt. You clear your throat trying to gain some confidence in your voice.
“Oh you know, just that you rotate the same 3 girls. You have your Monday, your Thursday and your Friday girl. The Monday one is surprisingly quiet though.” You say flicking your hair as if uninterested.
Choso furrows his brows at you. “Well I do leave them all satisfied, they enjoy themselves as much as I do, in case you had any doubts...they all express it as best they can while I’m f-“
“OKAY!! JEEEZUUUHH!! I get it!” You say covering his mouth with your hands to get him to stop talking. “I don’t really want to hear the details.”
He speaks into the palms of your hands still covering his mouth. Voice muffled, the vibrations tickling your skin and sending shivers up your arms. You instantly pull your hands away. “Huh? What’d you say?” You ask.
“I said that if you’re so curious, I can show you.” He says so confidently.
At that, your face flushes a deep crimson red. So dark, Choso could see it clear as day.
“Don’t flatter yourself Choso. That’s not something I’d jump right into with you.” You say feeling proud of your confident voice. And he believes that full heartedly.
“If you insist, but the beating of your heart tells me something entirely different.” He says slowly.
“We won’t. Theirs nothing TO see. When we get out of here we’ll just go back to the way it was before.” You exclaim, crossing your arms for added effect.
Suddenly as if the universe is against you, the elevators weight shifts drastically. You can feel it shake violently beneath you. The sound of wires and bolts snapping and screeching.
You let out a high-pitched shriek unlike anything Choso has ever heard before, and against your better judgment, you jump right into his broad arms. Hugging him with all the force you could muster, burying your face into his cold chest. Your lips graze the pale skin of his hard chest. His arm instinctively wraps around you, caressing you while trying to relax your trembling form. His other hand running through your scalp tenderly. Your heart was now hammering out of pure fear, and yet here you were seeking comfort in his arms.
“You were saying?” His voice, sounding smooth like honey in your ear.
You go to pull yourself away but are yanked suddenly back into him. “Ahh!” You yelp.
A chunk of your hair managed to somehow get stuck in the buttons of his sweater, causing you to lose your balance and dragging him down with you till you were flat on your back. As you try to look up from your new position on the ground, you're surprised to hear Choso chuckling softly. His legs straddling you. Your hair covering your face as it’s still entwined to Choso. You tried fidgeting around underneath him, unable to wiggle yourself away.
“Stop moving.” Choso ordered you with slight command in his voice. His voice sounding a bit more gruff than he intended, but he smirked when you listened. He could hear your quick panting breath. As he sat over you, his hips hovering above your waist. He worked your hair gently out of his buttons. Pulling the last piece away. He smooth’s your hair away from your face, enjoying the embarrassed look on you.
But now that you’re separated, neither one of you has the strength to want to move, staring deeply into each other. Taking in the small details of the others face. Choso couldn’t help but feel warmly for you. Neither of you pulling away even though nothing held you two together. You felt the pull to him deep within, not sure if it was all you or if it was him luring you like prey. You didn’t seem to care though. Not in that moment. Slowly, your faces unconsciously inched closer to each other until you felt the brush of his soft hair on your forehead. Noses finally gently touched. Following your instincts to just give in for once in your life you tilted your head, giving him access to your neck. Your eyes fluttered closed, waiting.
And for once he hesitated, his gaze eyeing the pulse of your neck. Salivating at the mouth as he could almost taste you from just your delicious scent. You’re eyes gently closed and your breath even and calm. It was all you. He hadn’t done anything yet to make you submissive to his needs. You certainly were a surprise to him.
Beams from flashlights shined through the cracks of the elevator doors. Slightly illuminating the small elevator. Causing Choso to look up, away from you.
“Y/N! You in there?!”
At the sound of your name being called you push yourself out of Choso’s hold and quickly crawl. You press your face up to the tiny gap in the center of the double doors banging on it with your open palms.
“I’m in here!!! Me and Choso!! Get us out PLEASE!!” You cry out.
You hear the familiar voice on the other side answer back.
“Step back for me, I don’t want that pretty face of yours getting dirty.”
“I swear on your life Gojo.” You mutter, standing up. Missing the way Choso raised a curious brow at the interaction.
You step backward to the furthest wall.
“Hey Choso! Can you cover Y/N?”
“On it.” Choso grabs your wrist and pulling you into the corner of the elevator, placing his sweater around your shoulders and quickly covering you completely with his own body at an inhuman speed.
You hear the deafening sound of metal being torn and dismantled as the doors get torn off. Choso releases you and the sudden light nearly blinds you both. And you swear you heard Choso hiss. You blink slowly adjusting to the new brightness as a dark blurry figure grabs you and pulls you out quickly.
“You okay?” Gojo asks as he checks you over, lifting your arms inspecting them carefully and then spinning you around before feeling satisfied at no visible harm being done to you. Then quickly pulling you into an embrace.
“Y-yah I’m okay Gojo.” Your warm breath heats his chest.
A voice interrupts beside you.
“You know you didn’t HAVE to destroy the elevator?” One of Gojo’s students says holding up his bag of equipment.
Gojo shrugs his shoulders carelessly. His arms still wrapped around you. “It was more fun this way.” He turns his attention back down to you. Finally letting you go. “As MY personal assistant, I didn’t think you’d be so foolish.” He says, flicking your forehead.
“Ouch! What the heck is that for?” You ask rubbing your head.
“You didn’t bother calling anyone for help. I checked. And then your phone kept sending me to voicemail. Did it die or something?” He asks accusingly while crossing his arms as he stairs down at you through his blindfold.
“Uhh maybe... I didn’t want you to fire me if I survived! I mean, you know I don’t think straight while under pressure...Plus you came, so I think it worked itself out. Right?” You direct your question to Choso, who spares you a half laugh.
“I guess you could say it worked out just fine doll.” He answers back, using the pet name on purpose.
Gojo looks Choso up and down once before speaking. “How come you didn’t blow the doors out yourself, Choso? You know you could have done it. Saved the day, get the girl.” He asks while inspecting a lock of your hair between his thumb and index finger.
Choso smiles, his fangs glistening in the light unable to hide the thrill in his voice. “It was much more fun this way Satoru. You know I like it when they’re scared. Can’t help myself. Besides, I don't need to pretend to be a hero to get a girl."
Your jaw drops.
“As much as I’d love to play some more, I do have somewhere I need to be. I am getting rather hungry...” Choso says, excusing himself as he waves Gojo off lazily, making the sorcerer scowl at the audacity of being dismissed so offhandedly.
Choso calls out to you over his shoulder before disappearing down the stairs.
“See you around Y/N.” And he seriously hopes he does.
You don’t respond. Having just spent all of your energy and adrenaline making you feel like you’ve been hit by a bus.
Being the nice boss that he can be, Gojo let you take the rest of the day off.
But only because he says he has no meetings for you to take notes for him so he doesn’t have to pay attention.
And since it was Friday you found yourself with a surprise three day weekend. Not even bothering with going out tonight. Falling fast asleep when Gojo tossed you onto your fluffy bed before leaving.
Your dreams replayed the events of the whole morning. His beautiful face, the feel and coolness of his skin, his alluring scent. His dark voice. The excitement. You dreamt of what your future with your mysterious vampire neighbor might hold. All the while, still wrapped in his intoxicating smelling sweater.
Dead asleep you missed the fact that Choso didn’t answer the door to his Friday night visitor. Pretending he wasn’t home until she stopped knocking. You had left an impression on him, stealing his attention. With new feelings he didn’t know he could still have.
He laid in his bed on the other side of the thin wall, adjacent to yours staring up the ceiling. For a long while just listening to the sound of your breathing.
Until finally he reached up to the wall behind him and knocking twice gently. Holding a breath that didn’t need to be held as he waited. Hoping that you’d reach out to him as well.
Knock knock knock.

so i’m finally catching up on jjk because i was like 9 episodes behind whoops and i just,,, i’m having so much trouble actually focusing and paying attention. my issue with jjk is that i LOVE the characters—i think they’re great and fun and so, so interesting, and i love their dynamics with one another—but the story itself, like the plot n all that, bores me to absolute tears 。゚(゚ノД`゚)゚。
it’s quite well written, i think, but i’m (personally!) just having such a hard time actually feeling invested in it :(

heyyyy is there lore behind the nicknames in your smaus? 👀 love your work
kinda! they're mostly from drabbles that i'm thinking of starting or finishing up. however, you can interpret these any way you want to since you're technically the main character 🥰
here was what i had from the drabbles. [note: toji and choso mostly go by baby for now, but there will be special nicknames from them later once i figure something out.]
- when you were a transfer to jujutsu tech in tokyo as a teacher, satoru called you 'pretty girl' during arguments to fluster you. he loved your reaction, and never missed an opportunity to playfully tease you. he keeps the nickname when you two start dating, because duh, you're very pretty.
- suguru calls you 'angel' because you met him when he was at his lowest point mentally. he felt like he'd never win against the loud, horrible thoughts in his head. then you came along. you helped him with nanako and mimiko, and you listened to him when he finally, finally opened up to you. you saved him. you're his gift. his angel.
- nanami called you 'sweetheart' once to keep you awake after a mission had gone horribly wrong and you were moments away from passing out due to your injuries. a simple nickname, but you finally saw for yourself how much you meant to the serious, 7:3 sorcerer. each time he calls you it, you remember how soft his eyes were that day.
- shiu calls you 'princess' because of the way you always, always get what you want. it started as a small joke because he, your handler, takes you around so you can complete your jobs with toji. even before you two started dating, he was spoiling the hell out of you, lol. princesses get taken care of. he doesn't like you handling anything when he's around.
- sukuna calls you 'petal' after your first meeting, which was in battle. there was fire, destruction, blood, then you, standing out and looking so pretty. a strong, powerful fighter, yet so delicate, like a rare flower he just had to have. he couldn't just kill you, that would be a waste. nope, you're joining him.

Hey reign!! (Yes I'm back again, I just love interacting with you 🧍‍♀️)
I had a question about the jjk men you write for (idk if someone asked this already) but have you ever heard of the game Genshin Impact? I wanted to ask what kind of players they would be!
If you dunno how to answer this, that's fine!! I was just wondering 😊
ahahah hi! you're always welcome here
oooh genshin. jumpscare. I used to play but then things got so overwhelming I had to give up 😭 I'm not sure what you mean about 'kinds of players' but I'll try
gojo: only plays to collect 'waifus,' very relaxed, builds are lowkey atrocious, eats a lot of food to boost his attacks, has absolutely no idea about the lore. it's not cause he's shit, he just doesn't really have the time to play seriously, so he just does it for stress-relief here and there
geto: only plays because gojo wanted him to so they can coop and gojo can farm things from geto's world for his waifus. has to help gojo with builds and update him on the new events
choso: started playing because Yuji wanted him to, but then he genuinely got into. very invested in traveller finding their sibling. doesn't like fighting, highkey scared of the monsters, even the ruin guards
toji: got it for his son (who was forced to get it because of his own friends). hates the game. highly judges the character designs, very aware that they're way too sexual so that says a lot about genshin. just an old man not impressed at all by video games these days. goes into other people's worlds just to talk shit.
nanami: at first pretended he doesn't care for it, but then? became very into it. he knows all the lore. his builds are awesome and might even have a secret channel where he shows off his characters
sukuna: only enjoys fighting. he loves it. almost never loses unless it's in coop. gets so pissed off if he has to carry the team. really wants the devs to add a function that allows you to fight other players

Blood and Chains
Chapter Seven- Behind Those Eyes
Tumblr media
Choso x F!reader
Previous | Chapter Index | Next
Content: HEAVY LORE CHAPTER, flashback episode before he met you, Choso's POV, angst, blood, violence, minor character death
This story is set in a slight alternate universe from the real JJK, if you need a reminder on the lore please look at the prologue for a refresh :)
Tumblr media
He was never supposed to love again. Not after everything that happened, not after her.
A year after the Shibuya incident, Choso was still adjusting to human society. It was hard for the half-curse to learn all the rules that accompany his flesh form. Not only did he have to figure out how to keep his body alive: food, sleep, warmth. He also had to understand the unwritten rules of society that come naturally for those born human.
The first year wasn't just tough on Choso, but it was on Yuji too. Yuji was put in charge of him, expected to teach him everything he needed to know. Which is hard enough for a 15-year-old, but it was even harder with their originally rocky relationship. It took Yuji a few months to finally accept Choso as his older brother.
Who could blame him with the family dynamic they have? Choso seemingly dropped from the sky into Yuji’s life. They tried to kill each other, of course their relationship would be strained. Thankfully, that period didn’t last long. The two brothers formed a strong bond within the first year.
But not everyone trusted Choso.
The higher-ups wanted him executed, a way to pay for his crimes in Shibuya. Choso would have accepted his fate too, he felt he deserved it for helping Kenjaku’s plot. To his surprise, many of the other sorcerers stood up for him, holding their ground against the decision. Without Choso, they wouldn’t have released Gojo from the prison realm that day, and there would have been many more casualties than there were. They saw value in him as a new ally.
Reluctantly, the higher-ups decided on a new punishment. Sentenced to an eternal life serving as a Jujutsu Sorcerer. Hunting down curses until the end. In Choso’s eyes, it was justified, and he would carry out the sentence willingly.
Just to make sure he followed through; they tacked on an additional term. If Choso ever abandoned his post, ever betrayed them. He would be sentenced to death, with Yuji as his personal executioner.
Which is why for the first year, he wasn't allowed on any mission alone. Every mission, even every walk out in the normal world, he had to be accompanied by Yuji or Gojo. Just in case he ‘went rogue’ as they said. The higher-ups still didn’t trust him, and they never truly will.
After that first year was up, he was finally granted some freedom. Getting assigned missions alone and no longer needing an escort into town if he wanted an order of takoyaki.
To celebrate his longer leash, he did just that. Walking into town and up to his favorite food stall, one him and Yuji frequent often.
“The usual, Choso?” the elderly woman at the stand asked, already pouring the batter into the takoyaki maker she was hunched over.
“Yes, please.” He responded with a polite nod and small smile.
“No, Yuji today?” she questions as she flips the balls over in the pan.
“Nope, not today.” He beams at her. Even though he loves coming to this place with his brother, he can’t contain the excitement he feels today. She smiles and transfers the cooked octopus balls to a paper tray, handing it to him. Choso fishes around in his pocket for the money but she shakes her head.
“Not today, this one is on the house. Enjoy the rest of your day dear.” She smiles at him.
“Thank you!” He smiles back, continuing on his stroll. He decided to make his way to the nearby park, just outside the city. Marching up a vibrant green hill and sitting underneath a shady tree. He stabs one of the takoyaki, bringing it in front of his lips and blowing on the steam. Then stuffing it inside his mouth, chewing thoughtfully as he hums. He continues to devour his snack as he overlooks the park. Kids playing, couples having a picnic, a man and his dog playing catch. Today really was the perfect day.
He stabs his last takoyaki and brings it to his mouth. Before he can savor the last ball, it falls off the pick and begins its descent down the hill, rolling at an incredible speed. He can do nothing but watch it roll away, straight toward two girls who are sitting on the grass. The ball rolls right into one of the girl’s white purse, staining it with its brown sticky sauce. He can hear them gasp, one of the girls glaring back at him.
Yuji said you have to apologize, even if it was an accident. He reminds himself of one of the rules his brother taught him. Pushing himself off the ground and making his way down the hill. As he approaches, he can hear them bickering. The one without the ruined purse seems more upset than the other. By appearances, he can tell they are in their twenties and also look strangely identical. Both with unusual long, snow-white hair. Reminding him of a certain sorcerer he knows. The only way to tell them apart is one of the girls had dazzling flecks of gold on her irises.
“Um…I’m really sorry.” He interrupts them, pointing to the stain. “It just…fell off” He fidgets a bit as they turn their gaze to him, scanning his facial features as he avoids eye contact by looking at his feet. One of the girls berates him for being so careless, hurling insults that he tries to ignore. Standing there like a wounded puppy, his pigtails drooping slightly.
As she continues her rant, Choso wishes he could crawl away in shame. Tail tucked between his legs and run. Yuji never told him that strangers could be so mean. He dares to raise his face as her sharp words continue to cut deep, locking eyes with the other girl, gold dancing in her eyes. She smiles in return. A soft and kind smile, one opposite to her rude accomplice. And she was beautiful, more beautiful than anything he's ever seen.
His heart thumps in a way he's never felt, vibrant blush spreading across his face.
“Sis, that's enough. It was an accident and you're just making him uncomfortable.” The nice one tells the mean one.
“Y-yeah. An accident.” Choso echos quiet as a mouse.
“Still, that was an expensive gift and-”
“Lysithea! Stop!” She interrupts her sister before she goes back to reprimanding Choso. The mean one, Lysithea, closes her mouth. Lips in a tight line as she glares at her. “Ignore her…she's the evil twin.” She teases, turning back to Choso.
“I’m really sorry. I can replace it!” Choso blurts out, guilt eating him alive for ruining such a nice possession. She looks like she's about to object, then her lips curve into a cute smirk. Standing up in front of him.
“Let me see your phone.” She asks, hand out waiting for him to oblige. Choso reaches a hand in his pocket and freezes. He left the stupid thing at home. In all honesty, he hated that confusing rectangle. Yuji gets so frustrated with him when he tries to show him how to use it, so he doesn’t even bother trying.
“I…Uh...” He stammers, not sure what to say. Cheeks still bright red as his eyes roam her pretty face. She lets out a slight laugh while shaking her head, bending down to retrieve something from her stained purse.
“Let me see your arm.” Even though he's confused, he obeys. Sticking his forearm out in front of her. She grabs his wrist, the touch sending an electric shock through him. She pushes up his sleeve with one hand, her other uncaps a sharpie. Scrawling a string of numbers along with her name, ‘Lilith’, across his pale skin. She releases his hand, looking back up at him.
“Text me later, pretty boy?” Her words send an unfamiliar heat straight through him. He swallows hard.
“Yeah…I will,” he whispered hoarsely.
˚ ✦ . .   ˚ . . ✦ ˚ . ★⋆.
It started with the purse.
Yuji helped Choso send the text, feeling a bit of pride. His older brother got a girl’s number all on his own, even if it was due to a silly mistake. The little brother also wanted to act as wingman, setting him up for his first time out with a girl. Even though Choso keeps telling him it isn't a date, Yuji continues to think otherwise. Sitting down and making the brother watch romance movie after movie, until he felt he was prepared.
Choso never saw this as a romantic outing, it was just fixing his wrong doings.
When he met up with Lilith at the mall, his heart skipped a beat. Wearing a casual and flowy maxi dress, not a hair on her head out of place. Suddenly, he wishes he had dressed a little nicer, instead of the tee-shirt and jeans he threw on in a rush.
The pair went and found another purse, almost identical to the one she had before. With a large price tag. Choso didn’t mind though, this is what he promised to do. He can always make more money.
Afterwards, he turned to her. Muttering an awkward goodbye before turning to leave. As he tried to walk away, she reached a hand for his, enveloping it in warmth.
“Wait…stay,” she urged him with a smile. A look of surprise washed over him, he expected her to leave once she got the replacement. Maybe there was more to this after all?
So he stayed, the two spent the remainder of the day together. Shopping, eating, the whole time chatting and giggling. Staying out until the black curtain covered the sky and the moon illuminated the path. Choso walked her home, seeing her sister glare through the window, and thanked her for the fun day.
He had never felt this way before, the way he felt with her. It was all a new experience. A feeling he wanted to keep chasing, and hoped she felt the same way. Luckily, she did.
Over the next few months, their relationship blossomed. Spending every waking moment together when they weren't working. Neither of them spoke much about their jobs, it didn’t seem important to ask and he didn’t want her involved in the dangerous daily life he deals with. All that mattered was each other. Going on dates to coffee shops, restaurants and movie theaters. Each more exciting than the last.
They never put a label on their relationship, but Choso knew he was madly in love with her. Already imagining a future, her as his wife. He knew it was too soon, but he knew what he wanted. Her.
Neither of them had explained their relationship to their siblings yet. She didn’t seem all that interested in telling her twin. Her sister who seemed to form a hateship with Choso the day they met. The closer she got to Choso, the less time she spent with Lysithea. On the other hand, Choso knew he would tell Yuji eventually but was waiting for the right time. His younger brother is getting sent on lots of missions lately now that he is a second year, finding less and less time to spend with Choso.
Lilith was a list of firsts with Choso. His first kiss, first date, first love. Unlocking each moment was more exciting than the last. He even lost his virginity to her, an experience that left her equally as breathless as him. The two had an insatiable hunger for the other. Every night together always seemed to end with their legs tangled around each other.
Choso laid on his bed, naked and still coming down from the high of his last orgasm. Sounds of cascading water can be heard from the shower down the hall. His heavy eyelids flutter closed as he awaits her return. Listening to Lilith’s soft hums as he drifts off to a light sleep.
He didn't realize how long he closed his eyes for until he heard the front door close followed by his brother’s booming voice.
“Hey Choso, I’m home I- oh.” He stops mid-sentence. Yuji wasn't supposed to be home tonight. He hears the gentle voice of Lilith chatting with Yuji, the reality of everything shocks him awake. Leaping out of bed and scrambling to pull some clothes on until he's stumbling down the hall. Spotting his love wearing the clothes she arrived in, hair slightly damp from her shower as she speaks to his brother casually.
“Y-Yuji!” He stutters, interrupting their conversation. “What are you doing home?”
“Choso! Can’t believe you were keeping her a secret from me!” He exclaims, obviously excited that his older brother found someone special. The younger brother smacked shy Choso on his back a few times.
“Sorry Yuji, I was going to tell you. I swear.” Choso defends sheepishly.
“Well, it was nice to meet you, I was just about to head home.” Lilith interrupts, pushing forward to grab her shoes. Eyeing Yuji a few times like she was searching for something.
“No! Stay!” Yuji begs. “I got out of work early today and picked up some food. I think I have enough for all of us.” He holds up a plastic bag to show it off. “Let's watch a movie, I want to know all about the girl Choso has been ditching me for.” He continues to tease.
So she stayed, joining the brothers on the couch as they ate and watched some movie Yuji swears by. The whole night felt fun, his two favorite people under one roof. Yuji would ask questions about her and in turn, she asked about him. Some of it felt a little odd and uncomfortable to Choso. Lilith was vague with her personal details when his brother asked, yet she asked him countless unnecessary questions. All that Yuji happily answered.
That was the last night Lilith felt truly normal.
The month following, Yuji always seemed to be the center of every conversation with her. Asking more oddly personal details and questioning his whereabouts, his daily schedule, his fears. It made Choso feel a little uneasy, so he kept the answers vague and would try to steer it elsewhere when possible. Whenever he didn't give the details she wanted, Choso would come home to her waiting at his front door. Asking to speak with Yuji.
It felt obsessive, and he wanted to confront her. But he hesitated. Maybe she just really wanted to be friends with his brother, maybe she knew just how important Yuji was to him so she was trying her best to get along and learn everything there is to know about him. It was kinda sweet when he thought about it that way. So he kept his mouth shut.
The days where she spent every moment possible with Choso were long gone. Now making excuses of why she couldn’t come over or canceling dates last minute. Now ditching Choso for her sister when it used to be the opposite way.
The last time she had sex with him also felt weird, forced and rushed. None of the passion it used to be, he was struggling to understand what changed. Once the heat of the moment was over, she crawled off of him, quickly putting her clothes back on.
“You're leaving already?” He blurts out, unable to hide his disappointment at her hasty departure. Was it so wrong to want to spend more time with her?
“Yeah, sorry love…gotta go” She shrugs him off, pulling her shirt over her exposed flesh. Do you even love me? He wants to ask, biting his tongue to keep the spiteful comment to himself. She looks over at him, seeing the conflict creasing his forehead. “Hey? How about date night this weekend? My treat.” She offers, her voice a bit softer than before.
“Yeah, I would like that.” He sighs. Maybe then he could bring up his worries, express his feelings and talk things through. That's what you do in a healthy relationship after all.  He doesn’t want to keep feeling so distant with her.
“Okay. Dinner at that place we like? Friday?” she smiles, the genuine smile he missed so much.
“Yeah, sounds good” He exhales, a small smile of his own the mask his uncertainty.
With that, she walks out of the bedroom. Choso pulls his own clothes back on, thinking she has exited the apartment already. A loud clatter tells him otherwise, he hurries out to the main area of the home. Seeing her bent over, a chair knocked to the ground and Yuji’s red hoodie on the floor.
“Sorry” she says as she pinches the hood and picks the chair back up, placing the fallen clothing on the back of it. “Ran into it after I put my shoes on," she laughs.
“Clumsy girl” Choso shakes his head with a smile, hugging her one last time before she leaves completely.
˚ ✦ . .   ˚ . . ✦ ˚ . ★⋆.
Choso sits at the table of the Thai restaurant they love. He made sure to dress nicer than usual, his loose long locks being the cherry on top to complete the outfit. He sips his glass of water, staring ahead at the empty chain in front of him. She was late.
“Sorry!” she apologizes profusely when she finally shows up, 30 minutes after the date should have started. She didn’t offer any type of excuse as she settled into the chair, smoothing out the wrinkles in her dress. Her eyes avoid his as she reaches for a glass of water, taking a small sip.
“It’s fine,” Choso sighs. It wasn’t fine, but he wouldn’t let that show. Not when he practically had to pull her teeth to get some quality time with her. He didn’t want to push her away even more.
“So, what do you want to order?” She asks, propping the menu up in front of her face.
“The usual,” he mutters. He doesn't even need the menu, they order the same thing every time. She should know this. He rests his elbow on the table, placing his chin in his hand as he looks around the room. Other couples holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes. A sight that made his heart ache. He places his other hand on the table, sliding it across and hoping she will take the hint. She doesn't, still scanning the menu in front of her like she isn't about to order the peanut noodles with tofu.
Choso sighs and retracts his hand, feeling defeated once again. How could the girl he loved change so much?
A vibrate in his pocket gets his attention, pulling his phone out. An incoming call from Yuji, odd. His brother knew Choso was going on a date tonight, he wouldn’t normally call if it wasn't important. He hesitates, knowing it’s rude to pick up while out with someone else. Sliding the phone back inside his pocket. Surly Yuji will text or call again if it’s urgent.
Almost as quickly as he put it away, Yuji calls again. Now Choso is worried, scrambling to grasp the phone in a hurry to answer it. He’s about to press the answer-call button when his date’s voice cuts through to him.
“Don’t answer that.” She says sternly, setting the menu down and glaring at the still vibrating phone in his hand.
“Why? It might be something important, or maybe he got hurt.” Choso barks back, his fears escaping him in shrill whines.
“Am I not Important?” Her words stung hard, of course she is but so was Yuji. “You are supposed to be spending time with me. Your attention on me .” Her tone a harshness he isn’t used to, causing him to flinch. The phone silences again, missing the call a second time in a row.
“Put the phone away” She tells him like a command, expecting Choso to obey like an obedient dog.
“No,” he challenges. “Yuji is my brother, I need to make sure he's ok first.” Lilith swipes a hand forward across the table, trying to snatch the phone from his hand, but Choso is quicker. Leaning back and holding it above his head. By now, several patrons in the restaurant are watching their lover's quarrel. She retracts her hand as Choso shoots daggers across the table. What is wrong with her?
His phone vibrates twice more, alerting him of two incoming text messages. He quickly unlocks the device to read them. His heart pounding wildly with fear.
Yuji: [pinned location]
Yuji: BACKUP!!!!
His suspicions were correct. Yuji is in danger! His little brother needs help. The texts are vague, leaving Choso to wonder what he had got himself into. He jolts up from his chair, the sudden movement knocking it back to fall on the floor with a loud crash. Everyone in the restaurant stops eating to watch the scene he's causing.
“I have to go,” is all he mutters, still angry about the way she has acted this evening. Her eyes on the floor, not even bothering to look at him as he departs. As he walks past, her hand catches his wrist, holding him with an almost crushing force.
“Let go,” He growls out in warning. While he is mad, he still doesn't want to cause her harm. But if he has to pry her fingers off one by one, he will.
“Stay!” she growls back, once again in that hateful tone she has never used with him. This isn’t the woman he knows, isn’t the woman he loves. She is a stranger to him. Can’t even bother to look him in the eyes. He yanks his hand free, his raw strength easily outweighing hers.
“Goodbye” he mutters, vein popping on his forehead as he strides for the door. Walking away from whatever their relationship is for good. Bursting through the front door and running to the location Yuji sent him.
He made it to Yuji’s location in record time. The adrenaline and fear pushed him to move faster than ever before. He finds him in a dimly lit park, fighting a lithe figure cloaked in black. A hood up concealing their face. Yuji doesn’t appear to be in good shape, the younger sorcerer taking quite a beating as his opponent relentlessly lands attack after attack. Frozen in horror, he watches the enemy raise a sword, ready to deal the finishing blow.
No! He can’t even bring himself to speak out. His body starts moving on his own, adjusting his stance and pressing his palms together. Posed to shoot a piercing blood attack before the blade can so much as touch his brother. He shoots the beam of blood, a powerful force that rips through the lower half of the attacker's body. A fatal wound no doubt. Their hand releases the sword, letting it crash to the ground with a metallic clang. Choso rushes forward to his brother’s side.
The body of the attacker falls backward, hood flying off to reveal the snow-white hair and a familiar face. Lysithea? No. Even with the barely helpful flickering streetlights, Choso can see the shimmering gold in her irises. Lilith.
She was never the one at the restaurant with him tonight, the twins had swapped so she could go off on her own mission. One that involved killing his younger brother while he was distracted. A wave of emotions crashes over Choso. Anger, sadness, confusion. He can’t keep his tears at bay as he kneels down next to her, scanning her face.
“Why? Why?” He repeats over and over, guilt swallowing him whole. He was happy to save his brother of course, but the shock of who he had to save him from started to dull his senses. He moves a gentle hand to cradle the back of her head, forcing her to look at him. Adam’s apple bobbing in his throat as he swallows hard, awaiting any type of answer.
“I’m sorry…Choso.” She croaks between labored breaths, a hand pressed to her side that continues to leak fresh blood. She was way past the point of saving. “We deceived you. I used you.”
The storm of anger grows in his stomach. Was anything real during these past few months? Every romantic adventure, every honeyed word, every time loving touch. Did it mean nothing to her? Just a way to gain his trust, to bring his guard down.
And he believed her. Everything felt so real with her, how could she fake it so well?
He’s unable to speak, still struggling to process the new information as it enters his brain. Acutely aware of his brother, injured, lifting himself off the ground and limping past. Speaking to someone who just arrived at the scene, another sorcerer for backup no doubt. Choso doesn't move, doesn’t even turn to see who arrived. Solely focused on watching the slow rise and fall of Lilith’s chest.
“I’m sorry Choso,” She repeats sweetly with that happy smile she usually wears. She raised a bloody hand and pressed it to his cheek. He flinches at the contact. “I really did love you,” she whispered hoarsely, taking her last breath. Her cold hand falling limp away from his face, leaving a red imprint on his skin.
The mental dam breaks, hurling Choso over the edge. Spiraling just as bad as he did in Shibuya when he tried killing Yuji. His stomach churning, he can't breathe. Someone was beside him trying to talk him down, but it wouldn't reach his deaf ears. The rest of the night a blur, feeling completely numb.
The only memory he has during the ordeal was hearing her sister, Lysithea. She was detained by another sorcerer shortly after Choso fled the restaurant. He can’t remember how she looked at him, with her sister’s blood still stained on his face and hands. But the venom in her voice is something he would never forget.
“You're a monster.”
He convinced himself he deserved this. He doesn’t deserve happiness or love. He fell for the first woman who was kind to him, and this is where it took him. Down a path of pain and misery. He put his own brother in danger just for her, because he was so hopelessly in love with her. Maybe if this wasn’t his first relationship, if he wasn’t so naive, he would have seen the signs. But he didn’t. Playing a leading role that almost got Yuji taken from him, and playing the part of executioner to his first love.
Never again. To protect himself, to protect his only family left. He will never allow himself to love again.
The following weeks meshed together for him. Days blending, not being able to tell apart if the sun was blazing or if the stars were shining. He drifted around the apartment like a ghost, all greasy hair and dark circles. Just a husk of his former self. It was starting to worry Yuji.
Lysithea was taken into custody, set to be questioned by the higher ups on their motive before she was also sentenced to death. Yuji filled Choso in on the details. Apparently, it took a great deal of torture for her to reveal anything, and she still didn’t give away everything they wanted. Some secrets left unanswered, clutching them to her grave.
The twins were curse users who were working for Kenjaku. Their orders were simple: bring back Yuji Itadori, dead or alive. They used Choso, he was their ticket to get close to the younger brother. Stringing Choso along in their plot unknowingly. They had even placed a tracker in Yuji’s hoodie so they could bump into him with his guard down. Lilith was stronger, with a cursed technique more suited for combat. That is why she sent her identical twin to swap her place on the date, attempting to keep Choso distracted and away from saving his brother.
To make matters worse, the higher-ups knew about this whole thing. They had the power to stop things before they got out of hand and chose not to. They couldn't care less if Sukuna’s vessel or the half-curse were taken out in the process. They just watched, waiting on standby as things unfolded.
The two things they really wanted to know, Kenjaku’s whereabouts and his next move, were something Lysithea refused to reveal. Leaving everyone at Jujutsu Tech clueless on how to proceed.
˚ ✦ . .   ˚ . . ✦ ˚ . ★⋆.
A part of him died with her that day. It took him a long time to recover, to return to himself again. It wasn’t until he met you that he realized how love should feel. You made him feel whole again, piecing together the still shattered pieces of his heart.
He leans forward in his chair, watching the rise and fall of your chest as you rest in the hospital bed. It has been 7 hours, and you still showed no sign of waking. 7 hours he stayed awake, fighting the burning in his tired eyes as he refused to leave your side. Machines and cords hooked to you, steady beeps filling the air. Fluorescent lights illuminating the room, highlighting the fresh bandages that wrap around your body. One of his large hands firmly wrapped around yours.
He wishes he could take everything back. Never met you, never started seeing you. Every kiss, every shared moment, he would undo it all if it meant he didn’t have to watch you suffer before his eyes. If it wasn’t for him, you would never have ended up in this situation. You would be safe at home, drawing in your sketchbook or out with your friends. He has ruined you.
Shoko healed you to the best of her ability, using both her cursed technique and medical expertise. You were alive, you were stable, but still not awake. Even though the blood he transfused to you did help until Shoko arrived on scene, it was attacking your body. She wasn’t able to fully flush that from you.
“It’s up to her now,” Shoko told him after leaving the operating room. “She has to win the fight on her own.”
“She will” Choso assured her, you are stronger than you give yourself credit for. Even when everyone doubted if you could pull through or not, he refused to give up on you.
“Please, little flower.” Choso begged, scooting his chair closer to you. The legs screeching loudly against the hard tile floor. He rests his cheek on top of your chest, looking up at you with red and puffy eyes. “Wake up. Please wake up for me.”

i never wrote smut before i started this blog in august, and i am used to the stuffy confines of academia. i cant describe how freeing it feels to write this stuff
i have a phobia of flies and theres one in my room rn and i cant get it out its literally terrorizing me. also i found a lanternfly in my grocery bag today and screamed, im not being hyperbolic
i have a scar on my chin and i was going to get plastic surgery on it but decided not to because i think it gives my face character and also (please humor me) i told myself yooo anime characters have scars like that and they look cool so why not HAHAHA
my favorite thing to use while i write is the em-dash. it is the panacea/pharmakon of any sentence. i eat that shit up
Zoro usurped Gojo for my #1 anime man of all time. I have a list for that as well. Idk if it will stay this way though because I love gojo so much I would die for him. But theres also Law and Ace and Aki and Itachi and Choso AGHHHHH I START TO GET SO SCRAMBLED ABOUT IT this is why i need my list.

DADDY TONY IM SO SORRY I SENT THE PWP TO THE WRONG BLOG IM IN SHAMBLES AND TEARS. There's like, lore? Not sure if you want the full worldbuilding, but the basics here is Choso is a crow! Or has crow wings, anyways. Crows are very family oriented, which I thought was amazing. It's been recorded that crows who left the nest will return to help their parents with younger clutches! Tell me that isn't a Choso thing to do, I dare you. Plus their whole symbolism with carrion/blood/death (painting) can you see the vision? I made Yuji a chickadee for the crack. They're kinda food-hoarders, which is very funny to me. Not picky birds at all; they'll eat anything from seeds and nuts, to insects, even pick at carrion! I thought it was very fitting for the idiot (affectionate) who ate a rancid ahh finger. Personality wise, they're very friendly birds, very vocal and curious and friendly. Very Yuji. Eso and Kechizu are there for the plot, but they're not really mentioned in the porn. I miss them sm when fics don't include them. I've left the reader's wings up to interpretation! For the worldbuilding, it basically boils down to omegas running society, bc I was sick of all the 'Ragh, alphas are the superior subgender' shit. With the exception of Daddy Tony, ofc. Omegas are low-key terrifying in this one; the whole idea spawned from a couple tiktoks I found! Anyways, I've kept you waiting long enough! The opps (character limit) are against me, so I'll post the smut in chunks! Hope Daddy forgives my sin.
-😔 Choso didn't know how he got this lucky. You were everything he could ever dream off, so pretty and kind and warm in a way that had every part of him aching. He really was going to have to buy Yuji something; if it weren't for his baby brother getting lost in the park, he might never have met you. All wide eyes and soft smiles, with the chickadee clinging to your back, right between your wings. The sight of it still hadn't left his mind; what if that was a different chick? One that looked a little like him, and a lot like you, with your eyes and smile and feathers. He hadn't expected you to laugh and accept his fumbling requests for your number, hadn't expected you to invite him over. Fuck, he wondered if his feathers would line your nest after tonight. Never in his wildest dreams did he expect to find himself in your apartment, feathers puffed with adrenaline and need. Had he preened himself well enough? His brothers had insisted on helping, but chicks weren't exactly reliable. Oh no, what if his wings were a mess and he didn't seem impressive enough— "Are you over-thinking this, Cho?" Your voice cut through his thoughts. Choso's head jerked up, eyes meeting yours for a split second before he had to look away. Oh, why had he given you permission to call him by his first name? The sound of it was so sinful on your lips, he had to choke back the urge to just fall to his knees and start begging. For what, he wasn't quite sure. "N-no. Just nervous. I've never..." He winced. How much more pathetic could he sound? Never been with an omega before? Never been with anyone? Hadn't even wanted to until he saw you, you, you. "No? Never?" You were so mean to him. You already knew what he was going to say, why were you making him say it? (What did it say about him that he craved when you were a little cruel?) "Cute." That word had Choso's brain short-circuiting. Cute. Cute. You thought he was cute? He stuttered, unable to find anything to say. Cheeks flushing a brilliant red, he ducked his head.
Tumblr media
I demandddd moreeee JJK men with wings ngh 😩❗ Being mean to Choso and him getting a severe case of birdbrain (I just had to, sorry) I love itttt you're so talented ml!!

It's actually crazy how I keep getting more and more convinced Yuuji and Sukuna are in love, when I first started shipping them I just thought their hatred for each other was interesting and could potentially lead to love but I figured I'd have to stick to fanfictions for that, but Gege just keeps making their relationship more and more sus?
This week alone with the Wasuke as the twin reveal (which might not change the actually plot but it definitely changes my reading of the story by a lot) and then dropping the Sukuita dance art, where they're holding hands while Yuuji looks so overjoyed to be in his arms and Sukuna, the tsundere that he is, looks upset but continues to hold Yuuji close anyway AND the "abominable righteousness. a steadfast anchor for the soul" quote right next to them??? That's clearly meant to be Sukuna's true feelings about Yuuji since the other cards were all words spoken to Yuuji by Gojo, Nanami, and Choso respectively. But- I have no words, this is as close to canon Sukuita as I think Shounen Jump would ever allow lmfao.
This is the most unexpected ship of mine that's received so much canon content, I'd expect this from some of my more vanilla ships but Sukuita??? Insane.
Hi anon!
The effect of Sukuna and Yuuji is the more you pay attention to them, the more you'll grow to like them (and start shipping them). These two have an interesting relationship no matter how you look at it (or them in general). It's true that they're subtle but then, they're also extremely loud (what the fuck was Shinjuku arc even about like they've spent more time caressing each other than fighting) and it's true that, in the beginning, there was little content but good content nonetheless. If you ask me, it was extremely sus even back then because why was Sukuna so amused by Yuuji? Why was he out there making Binding Vows's not to hurt people (someone who enjoys killing, mind you) just to get control of his body? The same Sukuna who slices people to bits if they raise their head in his presence (what he did to Jogo and those girls)... ?? Just what.
But now that we've reached the end... we have enough content to last us a lifetime and convince us that these two are certainly not in a platonic relationship. I, too, found them interesting at the beginning (more about all of that in a different post! I have to answer one anon.) but wasn't expecting anything even if I realized, as we kept progressing further and further into the plot, just how valuable these two are to it and how tied in are to the entirety of the story. Sure, jjk has a lot of other characters, but Sukuna and Yuuji stole the show in the end and went out with a bang. Not only did Yuuji change the unchangable but Sukuna and him! Danced! This is even funnier when you know what the epilogue was trying to hint at which puts even more emphasis on how their relationship is clearly not one of enemies and neither of friends.
Gege always had something more to say when it comes to these two, which also adds to the whole "hey I do think these two are... definitely something". They won't add just a tiny piece of content, but would rather drop some mind-numbing, plot-changing lore about them. The fact that they first dropped the Wasuke and Sukuna sharing souls plot point and then dropped official art of them dancing is hilarious to me. Like it's always something big, something huge! Whenever it's something about these two, you know damn well it won't be insignificant and that Gege will deliver.
"abominable righteousness. a steadfast anchor for the soul" quote right next to them??? That's clearly meant to be Sukuna's true feelings about Yuuji since the other cards were all words spoken to Yuuji by Gojo, Nanami, and Choso respectively.
Oh, don't even get me started on that, anon. I already ranted my friends' ears off about how that quote is insane. Yuuji is somebody who Sukuna used to see as insignificant but now he's finally not stubborn enough to admit that yes... all that hate wasn't really hate. There's admiration there. There's "I'll always have you".
I mean, it's pretty clear to anyone who followed this manga that Sukuna doesn't really hate Yuuji. If he did, all of this wouldn't have happened and would've been different lmfao. What we did lack tho was his opinion on him. His actual, truthful opinion. Sukuna loves to lie after all and loves to pretend he doesn't care when in fact he does... very much so.
And yes, anon. This is as close to canon we can get. They're tied to each other, forever in love and Yuuji even promised his forever to him, to be there even if the world wouldn't accept him. That's fucking insane genuinely. It awfully sounds like a marriage proposal because saying that to someone you lowkey used to ignore and despise *checks notes* a couple of months ago is baffling. Why would you promise someone to walk by their side forever, even if the entire world is against them? Come on now. There's no platonic explanation for that.

Have you every had one of those days where you just need a good cry? Some catharsis to tie you over until the next delicious bite of pain? Then you have to check out @chunkypossum!
Her works deliver incredibly moving storylines that tug at every heartstring you knew you had, and even a few you didn't. You'll be crying in the rain from despair, and then relief within the same fic. Her ability to balance the delicate knifes edge of pleasure and pain is unmatched.
Plus, they are beacon of positivity in our community, always there with a reblog, a like, a comment, cheering on everyone around her. We're so happy to turn the tables and cheer you on. Thank you for being a part of the Eris and the Acotar community.
Check out her masterlist here! But if you want an idea on where to start, read Kerosene and Mother Save Us From Your Twisted Fate!
Read More to Learn what Chunky loves about Eris and which character from Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) he'd like the most.
What do you enjoy most about creating content for Eris?
He’s tragic. I’m into that. I also think that when canon gives you so little, but just enough to give you somewhere to start it’s addicting to just keep making lore for that one interaction that lives rent free in your mind. You get to shape him in so many ways.
What do you think Eris's biggest fear is?
Being known
What's your favorite piece you've created featuring Eris and why?
This answer is TBD. I really enjoyed the character I created for him in Kerosene, it was interesting and fun to write. However, the fic I am hoping to finish for Eris week and companion art (if I pull off the writing that I have started and what is in my head that way I want) Might top all the rest.
Do you have any advice for other creators wanting to make eris content?
Have fun.
Please give us a name for one of Eris’s Brothers.
Adonis
Please give us a name for one of Eris's dogs.
Secretly I think they each have their own whistle and no actual names. Except for the extremely private pet names (that are more titles or their attributes than names) he mutters under his breath so he doesn’t have to acknowledge he actually cares about something. Names like Prim (because she somehow always looks like she is sticking her nose up at something) Stupid, long story short… Prim.
Which character from JJK would Eris like the most?
I honestly think he would find them all insufferable. HOWEVER, he would secretly get a kick out of Nobara’s tenacity and take no shit attitude. He would relate to Yuji’s drive to save the ones he cares about and respect Choso’s sole purpose of loving and protecting his brothers. Megumi probably wouldn't end up on his radar too much but he would appreciate that he is a serious boy of few words and he would try to stay as far away from Todo as possible (reminds him too much of Cassian). He would be able to tolerate Nanami the most but would be irritated because Nanami wouldn’t be able to tolerate him. He would DESPISE Gojo and not be able to respect Geto. I think, as at home as he looks in Spring in ACOSF, just at ease in nature and very Fae that he would gravitate toward Hanami even though it’s a cursed spirit and actually enjoy Hanami’s company.

Choso Kamo Thoughts(Part 2)
Cw/Tw - Kidnapping mention, blood, lots of talk of death/dead things
Okay maybe Choso and Uraume fight for my favorite spot sometimes- SFW no smut this time.
(Also this divider eh? Pretty great huh?)
Tumblr media
Choso who’s super into fanfics and tropes.
Choso who is SO into scary monster x freak
Choso who is sucker for beauty and the beast types of tropes
Choso who loves enemies/rivals to lovers
Choso who dissociates and imagines himself in these scenarios with someone/you
Choso who realizes he could just kidnap someone/you, but this is reality and maybe that wouldn’t go over like the stories do…
Choso who definitely has OCs, he feels like an eldritch horror oc type, old France style. High gothic
(Should I make a thang for his ocs and his stories for them?)
Choso who likes disturbing media. Not media that’s illegal or supports illegal things but things like the game Pathologic, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Clinical Trials, Bad Parenting, Fear and Hunger, Visage, Oxide Room 104… he’s not trying to be edgy he’s just fascinated by these things.
Pull up an image of Kenjaku, I’ll wait, just real quick for me. You see his dumb little smile? Them stitches? Good. Now, did you know Autism can be hereditary? Choso and Yuji both. Choso is sensitive to stimuli, Yuji is Hyposensitive to stimuli. I could see Yuji havin ADHD with or by itself but honestly looking at his character in depth he displays way more autistic traits than ADHD, I think he’s just excitable which makes me want to say ADHD but that’s diminishing. Unlearning ableism one step at a time. Anywayyyy
(I’ll totally go in depth about why I think Kenjaku, Choso, and Yuji are autistic if y’all wan)
Choso got into Pokémon because of Uraume. His team is —
Yamask, his buddy Pokémon/mascot. Not galarian. Yamask’s name is Eko.
Banette, found a shuppet thought it was cute learned the lore. Name, Maru.
Golisopod, ace in the sleeve. This tall white and purple Pokémon that’s considered creepy and powerful? He loves it.
✨Sobble✨. Sniping… piercing blood… its name is Simo, after Simo Hayha.
Dracovish, it reminds him of Kechizu! Name, Haratsu.
Male Frillish, for Eso! Of course there were better Pokémon to represent Eso but he loves the Royal floaty ghostly jellyfish, also king wing. Name, Fumihito.
He’s a big water and ghost type fan.
Choso is a BIG fan of aquariums. There’s something so special about them, something that makes him feel contemplative and at ease. He wishes he could just swim with them, that blue glow… queue “If I Am With You.”
Choso feels very lonely. His room is filled with the other death paintings and after he collected Eso and Kechizu’s bodies he cremated them and has their urns too. He feels so bad
Choso’s “space” theme is to represent the “soul”. Space is often used to represent the soul in media but also he can feel the souls of his brothers, while they’re alive, while they’re cursed objects, he feels the souls of them in him and his own soul. Another reason he and Mahito are friends.
Choso sometimes sleeps with his eyes open. It’s not good for him and very creepy.
Choso loves dark gothic musicals. Phantom of the Opera, Count of Monte Cristo, Jekyll and Hyde, The Devil’s Carnival, The Hunchback of Notredame, Beauty and The Beast, Elisabeth, Dracula… yeah you get it.
Choso has a special interest in cultural practices for the dead. Be it religious or just a group of peoples practices. Superstition even. He loves taxidermy, and skeletons. He certainly goes to graveyards and cleans the graves there.
Claymore, Beserk, Castlevania, Seraph of the End, Dororo, Black Butler, Wolf’s Rain, Elfen Lied, Perfect Blue, Vampire Hunter D, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Chaika The Coffin Princess - A list of Anime and Manga Choso wants to watch and or read.
Choso is 6’3-4”(194cm), I am making this up, this is NOT official, I’m basing it off of Choso being a bit taller than Geto/Kenjaku.

hewwooo! unsure if you’ve already answered this or if it’s even interesting enough to answer but which edenau men (and readers) do you think are cat or dog people? 🧐 such a simple thing but i think little things like that say a lot about people in general!! Maybe even just jjk men in general, not just from edenau lore but like from the series? 🙏👉👈
are you a cat or a dog person? If you want to answer ofc!! Personally, i’m a cat person though i love all animals obviously!! Have a black cat of 14 years at home which i miss so dearly!! (If you want, i can share a photo teehee😼 though this would be completely off topic and not about jjk at all lmao 😭 sorry i’m rambling.
Idk if Gege's already commented on this, it goes without saying his word is gospel so these are just my opinions
also made this quickly so idk how much sense this makes
In JJK
Dog people:
Gojo
He likes the loyalty, activeness and fun associated with dogs He's pretty much a golden retriever
Geto
Could totally see him with a dogs Like well-trained guard dogs
Choso
Could see him with a cat, I think he's a kind soul who'd get along with any animal, but I just associate him with dogs Again, loyalty, fun, he sees them like his brothers, maybe even assigns personalities
Toji
Big dogs Not a cat person at all
Cat people
Nanami
Could see him with a dog too, well-trained, docile, sweet little thing But I think he'd appreciate cats more because of their independence They're more appropriate for his workaholic lifestyle And then to come home to something calm and relaxed would be great
Sukuna
Black cat energy He could have big, aggressive dogs But I like to think he likes the mischievous energy cats can have
In EdenU
Dog people:
Gojo
He could have a frat dog that he'd spoil the hell out of I could see him walking around campus with a dog that the ladies coo over
Choso and reader
I do imagine him often running across a stray dog that he talks to about his day Sees it as some divine intervention or a message from the universe Reader meets the dog and they decide to adopt it maybe
Toji and reader
A medium sized dog probably Goes on runs with it
Cat people:
Goth!reader
Black cat Don't need to explain, do I?
Geto and reader
I imagine there are cats that visit his studio regularly and he leaves out tins of cat food for them to eat Reader would love the hell out of the cats, leaving out an umbrella and a dry little house for them when it rains
No animals:
Nanami and reader
Does not have time or space for a pet Reader would get jealous either way
Sukuna and reader
They don't see the benefit of getting one

hi as a jjk fan, do you have any issues with the writing from gege? if so, what do you think are wasted potential in terms of characters, bonds. i think that there is lack of emotional impact or expansion fo characters sometimes. for instance animes like mha have alot of meaningful character arcs and backstories. It's a bit hard to express how I feel becuase jjk is an amazing story but i am just a bit disappointed of the wasted potential with female characters and like shoko and utahime. and the world building. yes i am fellow gojohime shipper ;).
(Oncoming long RANT 😅)
If you ride on Gege's coattails, this may not be for you.
I actually do have issues with Gege's writing, so I agree with you. JJK has an interesting premise with hidden lore & I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get into, or already into, anime/manga, but it could be so much better if Gege just cared enough (which I sometimes feel like he doesn't? It just feels like he wants to hurry up & finish it so he can start on his idol manga... 💀). He skips so much, it honestly feels like he's going off a checklist, especially in the latest arc.
Compared to other battle shounens, namely Naruto, Fairy Tail, MHA, & even Gintama, JJK is severely lacking in several areas. It's unfortunate because the premise & characters are full of potential.
I will go over some of the issues. A lot of these were obvious from the start but they've only gotten worse over time.
• The fast pacing (speed running at this point). It's battle after battle, no downtime, big arc right after big arc, etc. Us readers & the characters themselves barely have time to process things before he moves on to the next thing. He skips so many things, so much happens off-screen/off-panel (can't forget how he skipped Yaga's fight with Gakuganji that lead to his death, skipped Gojo's entire month after his unsealing then "kills" him off-panel a few chapters later, I could go on...)
• The lack of character emotions, development, backstories, etc. We barely know anything about the characters, like their hobbies & interests? (This is why I have a hard time making up headcanons & potentially writing a fic for our ship... How can I keep them in character when I barely know stuff about them? 😮‍💨). We barely see any of them training (training arcs/chapters are typical for battle shounens); the Tokyo students preparing for the Goodwill Event would have been a fitting time to showcase this, for example. There's little to no mourning shown for character deaths (like Yaga? Nanami? Mai? Mechamaru?).
Yuta has such a cool CT & we didn't get to see how he discovered it & all. Like, come on 😔. Also, it would've been nice to see the Goodwill Event from his first year when he beat the Kyoto students, especially Todo... (Gege simply tells us about it. Like he tends to do for a lot of things 🙄).
Gege could've done more build-up to Gojo's sealing in Shibuya by showing his upbringing & development from his arrogant teen self (tho already having shown hints of caring for others & not liking the higher-ups) to the sensei who loves his students & strives for a better Jujutsu society. His past arc should've been longer imo. Needed more slice of life & character interactions, bonding. Heck, Toji should've gotten his whole backstory there too before he died. More build-up to Gojo's "death" too, as Gege skipped that whole month after his unsealing 😒...
• While on the subject, the lack of character interactions, bonding. We haven't seen most characters interact with each other despite being in the same circles, vicinity. Tokyo & Kyoto students, GjHm with them, Gojo & his colleagues (esp more Uta), the Zenin clan (like, wish we could've seen how GjHm interacted with Naoya. Imagine the drama 😫), Gojo & his elusive clan, I could go on... Would've loved to see Gojo interact with Kashimo, Higuruma, Choso... 😮‍💨
As such, several have died & we never saw them interact with certain others nor even know much about them 😑... The emotional impact of character deaths & bonding would be higher if only Gege cared enough to flesh out his characters more... (At least the Phantom Parade mobile game is giving us some much-needed slice of life content. Wish Mappa would give us some OVA's like that too...)
• Lack of world building. Once again, so much we don't know, such as the clans, especially Gojo's. Apparently, they're still alive, yet we haven't seen them?
Tumblr media
Are they not fighters, then? Nothing from them on their clan head's sealing/unsealing/"death". The Zenin Clan debuted & got killed off soon after. Other clans irrelevant. Jujutsu sorcery primarily exists in Japan so other than Miguel, goodbye to the potential of any foreign sorcerers making their appearance...
• Female cast. It's crazy how they were once praised for their potential but now... Now, all they've got is just your typical battle shounen treatment 😒. While Gege has shown he cares little for all his characters (lol), it does seem like the female characters have suffered a bit more from his writing. They've either died (like Mai off-screen? Yuki, the only female Special Grade, had one fight & died?), become powerless (Miwa, thru an off-screen Binding Vow revealed many chapters later? Seriously?), lack screentime (the Kyoto girls? Shoko, the only one who can use RCT on others & closest friend to Gojo?!), or simply haven't done a whole lot, especially compared to the male characters. For some or most, it's a mixture of all these 💀 (like Tsumiki).
Nobara is the main girl & yet her role ended about halfway thru the series. Can't believe Gege did that to her, despite her potential & competence to be the FL of a battle shounen (poor Yuuji still thinks of her. And we don't even know what Gojo thought about her demise? 😮‍💨). Maki seems to have it better, yet some could argue she's just Toji 2.0/female Toji. Unfortunately, I thought about Toji when she was fighting Sukuna; I was like, "If Sukuna's this impressed by her, imagine Toji with his higher experience?" I doubt that's what Gege would want us to think when Maki's shining (or does he? 🤨😒).
• Don't even get me started on Utahime. She's the main teacher of Kyoto, loved by all her students according to Gege, yet we don't get to see it? She's barely relevant? Imagine what she felt as her students kept on dying or becoming unable to fight. Thru her character, such as during her investigation of Kyoto for the traitor, we could've gotten some great insight into how things are over there? We don't even know what the Kyoto school looks like 💀.
Her scar has several implications & yet we don't know how she got it? How has she dealt with being a scarred woman in Jujutsu society, especially considering Momo's words about such a thing during the Goodwill Event? Utahime could be a great role model to the girls, especially Maki now, & yet... 😮‍💨 (I'm telling you, she should've been the main adult female of the series, just like Gojo's the main adult male)
She's one of Gojo's friends, has known him for 10+ years, & is one of his few most trusted allies, yet we haven't seen how they got to this point? Their comedic interactions make us wonder how they built that deep trust. I NEED to know what happened between them during the timeskip!!! 😫
Her CT buffs herself & others. Why has she not been a part of any on-screen fight prior to the Shinjuku Showdown? There were a couple instances where we almost saw her in action & yet... Why did Gege gatekeep her CT for so long? To showcase her CT for the first time for Gojo & Gojo ONLY. He's insane. They can't beat the package deal allegations. So, does this have any meaning? Can we hope for more-
• I sometimes wonder if JJK would be better as a seinen like I once heard he intended for it to be... There are definitely elements of that... How much darker could the story get, since sometimes Gege pushes the boundaries of Shounen Jump (I know he wants to, lol)... How much more fleshed out could it be if he was writing it the way he wanted to originally (supposedly he never intended for a school setting but was forced by his previous editor?)... Maybe we could even get a Tokyo Ghoul:re style chapter with GjHm during the timeskip if y'all know what I mean-
So, to sum up: JJK is interesting & I would recommend it, but there's a whole lot of wasted character potential, terrible pacing, & lack of interactions, development, & world building. There's so much we don't know & Gege wants to end it already? He's sitting on a gold mine & yet... 😑😒
No idea how things will end but I can at least hope for an open ending that leaves us with some hopeful possibilities... Uh, right?
Also... GOJO WILL RISE ✊️
