just thinking about how eva kissing cristian and then finding out he’s dating lara has so much more emotional effect with the lara-as-noora bait and switch in episode 1, bc eva and lara, while not exactly good friends, are at least friendly.  while in other cases an eva just finds out he has “a girlfriend”, here it’s a girl she actually knows and cares about a little, and i think that’s a really interesting adaptation choice!
