mind you this is me having some fun BUT for loumandaniel, they're an important trio and louis tied daniel to their relationship. ive said it before but louis invests in people and investigative reporting was a burgeoning market in the 70s. so have loumandaniel become friends during that time instead which can tie into daniel and his reporting on the aids crisis with his two vampire friends/lovers. i reallyyy like the idea of them being involved during that time. i like 'armand/daniel started having an affair behind louis and alice's back' so the relationship did happen already. also controversial but the chase isn't that important where it resides in the book imo and they could move that to armand following daniel around on the vampire lestat tour post-turning instead. either way i think louis is a lot more involved in potential past dm since daniel's THEIR BOY yknow??

anddd that's been a theory that louis and armand are in amc's version of the loumand trinity gate era of the books. it follows louis' merrick arc that the show did in s2e5 ie louis heading towards healing which could account for the second interview. the show timeline can run wild since they have the full scope of the books whereas anne was still working that out. so yea, others have wondered if loumand didn't have a period of separation, got worse in each others absence, and came back together bc only "your kind can understand that loneliness (something armand tells lestat in 1790s paris). i agree since louis is heading towards letting his guilt go after dubai, which is said about his time in trinity gate.
