1. Nicholas van Cutsem

Married: Yes, to Alice Hadden-Paton Children: Yes, Florence Nicholas van Cutsem is one of the older brothers of George's godfather, Thomas van Straubenzee. Nicholas' father Hugh was close friends with Prince Charles and the van Cutsem children grew up on the Queen’s Sandringham estate (in Amner Hall!). William and Catherine attended Nicholas's wedding to Alice in 2009, where William acted as an usher, before Nicholas attended the royal wedding in 2011. Nicholas' daughter, Florence, was a bridesmaid at Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle. He is photographed here, with his wife, Alice.

2. Guy Pelly

Married: Yes, to Elizabeth Wilson Children: No Guy Pelly is a party prince and I am bitter he is Louis' godparent over Trini Foyle. Guy Pelly met Princes William and Harry in 2001 and the three quickly became close friends. Guy's mother, Lady Carolyn Herbert, was also close friends with Diana. Guy was with Harry when he wore the Nazi uniform and was rumoured to have introduced Harry to marijuana. He also ran a string of nightclubs, including Mahiki. Guy was in charge of organising William's stag do and attended the royal wedding in 2011, while William attended Guy's wedding in 2014. He is photographed with Prince William.

3. Harry Aubrey-Fletcher

Married: Yes, to Louise "Sarah" Stourton Children: Unknown Harry Aubrey-Fletcher is the youngest son of the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire. He attended Ludgrove Prep School with William, before going on to Eton with him. William and Catherine were guests at his wedding to Louise Stourton in 2011 and, a few months later, the couple were guests at the royal wedding. William acted as an usher at Harry's wedding. He is photographed tweaking William's ear in 2013, at the Cheltenham Races.

4. Lady Laura Meade

Married: Yes, to James Meade Children: Unknown (possibly one or more) Laura Meade is married to James Meade, Charlotte's godfather. She lives near the Camrbridges in Norfolk and is a regular guest at Catherine's birthday celebrations, joining the royal family at Church. William was an usher at her wedding to James in 2013. She is photographed here with Catherine and George at a polo match.

5. Hannah Carter (nee Gillingham)

Married: Yes, to Robert Carter Children: Yes, one Hannah Carter is one of Catherine's oldest friends. Like George's godmother Emilia, Catherine met Hannah at Marlborough College and the girls played together on a number of sports teams. Hannah and Robert were guests at William and Catherine's wedding in 2011 and, just over one year to the day later, they were guests at Hannah's wedding to Robert. Robert Carter is the brother of Sophie Carter, Charlotte's godmother. She is photographed with her husband.

6. Lucy Middleton

Married: No Children: No Lucy Middleton is the older cousin of Catherine, the daughter of one of Michael Middleton's brothers. Lucy gained a degree in French and Italian from Bristol University, before later gaining a post-grad diploma in law. She became a solicitor and is now a Senior Publishing Lawyer at Penguin Random House. During Catherine's gap year, she took time out to specifically visit Lucy in Florence. Lucy was a guest at William and Catherine's wedding in 2011. Lucy is photographed with Pippa, arriving at Louis' christening.
