realising what I actually need from Suzanne Collins is just a multi-volume panem history book
#which INCLUDES pre-dark days/origins of panem#because i know she has it written somewhere#i want to know everything about panem#and how it came to be#lotr appendices/silmarillion but make it panem#the hunger games#thg#the ballad of songbirds and snakes#tbosas#that and a character study of haymitch#because whilst katniss's major character development happended during her games#i think haymitch's happened afterwards with what happened to his family/girlfriend and mentoring

Honestly yeah I like this way better than all the suggestions of random characters games. We've already seen three different games and if I want more I can always turn to fanfiction but this offers a different angle that's really interesting. Additionally Suzanne Collins has said that she isn't going to write another hunger against book unless she has something to say and I think this could have a lot of potential as commentary about the way we record and remember history which is another very timely topic
