“What? That's so exaggerated, Klein. Stop teasing!” Leonard huffs at Klein who was showing him a silver mirror that reflected him.

“Why would you suddenly think you're average?” Klein rolled his eyes.

“No, I don't think I'm average. I just think my beauty is not as exaggerated as you says!”

Arrodes, the mirror that Klein shoved to him to 'prove he's right', seethes.

Leonard watched in fascination as the sentient mirror erased his reflection and replaced it with words in intense red.

“How dare you! Great Master does not lie and has wisdom that far exceeds yours! What he says is based on his own observations that are unbiased and on the right path!”

Klein watched the fascination in Leonard forest green eyes change to disbelief and dumbfounded, which is reflected on his handsome face.

He immediately retracted the mirror, and tried to see what his dear Arrodes had to say to his dear poet, and found nothing. He cocks his head the side, in Leonard's way, in confusion.

Leonard, however, just looked at Klein and pursed his lips.

When the distracted Klein finally got himself together, and put whatever Arrodes would say to his poet friend in the depths of his memories to later analyze, he moved on and walked alongside Leonard to finish their current joint mission.

Title: I know you’re not such a bad guy

Synopsis: Anderson is bored and makes Gehrman drunk to attempt to make him drop his mask. However, every time he finds a human corner in the facade of the pirate hunter, another secret that makes Gehrman seem even more terrifying comes out.

But Anderson is not discouraged! Strangely convinced that Gehrman is actually a good guy, the adventurer won’t give up until he succeeds!

Fool/World Snippet

Was originally posted on the Fool/World Discord server, thought I'd put it here too. It's a fic idea I've had for a while that I probably won't finish any time soon, but I did write the opening for it :p.

In the castle infinitely above the Spirit World, amidst swarms of grey fog, there were two figures.

Dressed in a black robe, Mr. Fool was seated on an ancient throne, the constellation of stars symbolising ‘His’ pathway lit behind ‘Him’.

“Gehrman.”

He remained kneeling as he awaited whatever the Lord had to say.

“I have granted each of my Blessed a wish, except you. You alone have asked for nothing.”

With Mr. Fool’s latest recovery in ‘His’ strength, ‘He’ had regained the powers of a Miracle Invoker. ‘His’ first act had been to ask the Blessed their desires.

Gehrman had said nothing then, till now.

It was not because there was nothing.

“Speak,” Mr. Fool implored. “You have a wish.”

Gehrman could only dream of being as perfect a devotee to his Lord, to have his entire self be subjugated to the other and be content by that. He did indeed have a single wish in his heart. But that was hardly one that could be said out loud…

Except Mr. Fool had asked and now he could not lie, nor could he refuse to answer.

“I… I wish…” Gehrman spoke slowly, haltingly, unable to put voice to the words.

Despite his struggles, Mr. Fool waited patiently. And that itself was enough to force the words past his throat.

“I wish for your descent into the world so that I may walk with you.”

Saying it aloud only made the blasphemy that much more blatant. In the silence that followed, Gehrman regretted it.

But then Mr. Fool chuckled.

“How long?” ‘He’ asked.

Forever.

Gehrman squashed that impossible thought and tried to identify an answer that would be more suitable.

“From sunrise to sunset,” he finally answered.

“Tomorrow then.”

His head rose a fraction in surprise at the immediate reply. He stopped himself in time not to look upon the Lord, but he still caught sight of pale slender fingers tapping on the armrest.

“Tomorrow you shall have me.”

Boss Wants To Retire

In which all the Tarot Club except Klein time traveled.

I discovered another Zhou Mingrui/OG!Klein fic!!! It's so good omg. Zhou Mingrui travels back in time and revives Klein from the moment of his suicide, intending to return the Moretti's a complete family. Unfortunately, since he gave Klein one of his chances to revive, Klein's fate is now inexplicably bound to ZMR's, and things do not go according to what he intended (ie. letting Klein live a normal life).

It's so interesting to see OG!Klein react to all the canon scenes, being a slightly naive college graduate without the acting skills of a 21st century transmigrator. Klein with his humanity influences ZMR who has almost none, yet as the story goes on Klein turns more and more into a zealous follower that everyone believes Gehrman Sparrow to be. (Celestial Worthy is quite present in this fic, which leads to many... Misunderstandings. Enough said)

Here's the first chapter link! The Tingen arc is complete, and the conclusion was so good.
