#loth being like “kit you could go back to inys” hurts me so bad dude#its like the freaking “go home sam” line in lotr to me i cant#on this reread i cant help but read kit as at least a little in love with him idk#i didnt think so and then i was hit with kit telling loth “what little piety i have i owe to you” like fuck my entire life#...and then he immediately goes “the knight of fellowship tells us not to leave our friends alone” FHFNDK OK. well played#i always relate to kit the most bc he's just Some Guy. kind of average sheltered dude just wanting to write his poetry#idk now and then kit has a line that scratches my brain right as a writer#like when he says to loth something abt how he only sees a finished poem and not all the thought and work kit had to put into it#i just think hes neat#probably not anyones favorite but i like him a lot#also i forgot how much i like estina#“you could try not to breathe” when theyre asking how to prevent getting sick in yscalin 😭
