Because I was tagged twice, I did a couple! I chose the Roswells because although I don’t know a lot about them, I love their kinda... trailerbilly cryptid chic? That’s the only way I can describe it. I feel like they both have thick Southern accents and probably chickens running loose in their yard and Ted is like 50 but he’s still getting into bar fights even though he’s the ‘mayor’ of ‘Strangerville’.

So my version is maybe a little bit more rough-and-tumble than the game’s version, but Ted’s out here sneakin’ around at night, slitherin’ off to God knows where and Meredith thinks he might be off with some younger woman - or worse. So she’s rolling up her sleeves and getting to the bottom of it herself, even if it means pulling the shotgun off the mantle and takin’ care of business.

Jase grew up an orphan and typical “bad boy”. Constantly running from one foster home to another till one man found him sleeping in his barn one day. Instead of turning him in, he offered him a place on his ranch and a job there too. With not much left to lose, Jase accepted and has been there ever since. This man was getting on his years but was never soft on Jase and treated him like an equal, which helped him grow as a person. Eventually Jase gained a lot of respect for the guy and now see’s him as somewhat of a father figure. The ranch isn’t doing so well these days, so Jase has decided to find another job in hopes of helping out and bringing more income in back home.

Who imagined that for just one photo of a celebrity the magazines would be willing to shell out thousands of simoleons just for the exclusive?!? Penelope knew well that from those shots stolen from Judith Ward in the company of her new millionaire lover she would get a nice nest egg, but she certainly did not expect the sum received to be so high as to allow her to move and buy herself a small villa in Del Sol Valley! 

From a nineteen year old about to go to study law in Britechester, she went to a nineteen year old with a pretty good house and a lot of money in her pocket ready to break into the world of gossip in Del Sol Valley. Penelope had always been brought for photography but unfortunately her family did not see it as a possible career but rather as a simple pastime, for this in the end they had practically forced her to attend jurisprudence as her brothers had done. Of course, as soon as she had the chance, she left everything behind to start a new life where she decided what she wanted to do, so even if it wasn't her dream in the drawer, she decided to make paparazzi for at least a few years. The early days Penelope focused mainly on minor characters, being able to photograph the big celebrities was practically impossible since they were always surrounded by bodyguards and countless paparazzi and fans, so Penelope began to make the right acquaintances in order to have tips and therefore more likely to have a scoop. Penelope is now twenty-two years old, with a large bank account, and a job offer as a photographer for the magazine of her dreams! So she is almost ready to end her paprazzo life, she wants to end on a high note and what better opportunity if not The Princess Bachelorette?

• Her meeting with Judith was completely random.

• It is difficult to spot her while doing her job, she is often hidden. (bushes, trees, cars and low walls are her best friends).

• When she has the camera in her hand, she becomes cold and calculating, it doesn't matter if the photos can compromise the reputation of the celebrity, it makes no difference to her if the scoop is negative or positive, in the end what she cares about is that photos are not moved and the compensation.

• As far as her sources of information are concerned, she usually manages through an apparently casual conversation to get the information she needs, to find her “prey” more easily. Usually addresses to concierges, waitresses, drivers etc...(she keeps very far from the bodyguards).

• In her free time she likes to relax at the spa, go to exhibitions or just sleep all day, her work is very hectic and rarely can she rest properly.

• Having concentrated mainly on her work, her love life is almost completely absent, even if it would not be said she is a romantic person, receiving red roses, candlelit dinners, and watching the sunset with her sweet half, are things who has been dreaming since she was a child.

• She had some stories with some colleague but nothing serious, they were taken by her while Penelope not much from them, also because of her strong character she was rarely contradicted and this is a shame since she has a weakness for men who they stand up to her...

1. if you could travel one place in the world where would you travel?

New Orleans. I’ve never been and I always have wanted to.

2. what do you do in your free time away from sims?

ummm.. aside from working....gardening (as much as is possible when you’ve got a 12x6 balcony to work with). I went to Home depot today actually and got some cherry and grape tomatoes, cilantro, dill, red bell peppers, mint, kale, and jalepeno plants + some colorful annual flowers for fun. sooo I’m excited about that.

3. what other games do you play besides the sims?

None really. I like playing chess or doing sudoku puzzles while I’m on the elliptical but I don’t think those count. lol

4. how tall are you?

5′6″, apparently that’s above average height but I don’t feel particularly tall. 

5. one random interest of yours?

I love playing armchair detective, I’m love me some true crime. also I love musical theater.

6. current favourite bands or artists?

I like a lot, I wouldn’t say I have any current favorites because I hardly keep up with anything and listen to the same stuff.  I always love me some 70s and 80s music a la the beegees/andy gibb, Paul Simon, Prince, etc. Modernly I enjoy the black keys, cage the elephant, arctic monkeys, Oliver tree, asap rocky, umm idk i hate this question

7. something you’re looking forward to?

Nothing. nah I’m being dramatic. Short term: I’m excited for summer and going for long walks/bike rides on the lakefront trail. Long term: I’m excited to go to restaurant/bar and have a fucking draft beer even though I’m not a big drinker and I’m generally a homebody. 

8. current favourite films?

My forever top films: goodfellas, inglorious basterds, almost famous, red dragon, Chicago, shawshank redemption, oh brother where art thou, big fish, ...god i could go on forever I love so many movies. 

9. what food could you not live without?

coffee if that counts as a food. caffeine withdrawal is a bitch. If i had to pick an actual food, probably tortilla chips 

10. favourite series (book or movie series)?

I don’t have a favorite book or movie series so I’m going answer my favorite TV series instead because i love tv so much and everyone should watch these shows:  the wire, the leftovers (seriously go watch this right now it is so weird and so amazing and so perfect from start to finish), girls, futurama, always sunny, true detective, the sopranos, shameless (though I haven’t watched recently since emmy rossum left-- as a southside chicagoan it’s close to my heart), SVU, the good place, B99, parks and rec (anything michael schur has had a hand in basically), breaking bad, narcos, american horror story, forensic files, disappeared... again this list is endless I love TV.

When was the last time you cried? It’s been a while since the last fit of crying, but I can squeeze out tears anytime when listening to the right music, seeing animal videos or feeling the pain of others.

Do you have kids? No! Do I want some? No!

Do you use sarcasm a lot? Never.
