#i think in the 2017 version georgie is actually pulled into the sewer and eaten#in the book only his arm gets bitten off#regardless nevada caves = the sewer system in It#there was definitely something down there and how much do you want to bet the us govt definitely had some secret fucked up experiment down#there...#thay plus the DG that was tied down to the table in the st4 russian subplot#honestly even going all the way back to the first scientist we see get taken by the DG in the very beginning of st1 and the dead scientist#next to henry#whatever was down there in the nevada caves is the smoking gun and its never been more obvious that it was a government lab#my money is 100% on them trying to open a portal given the st3 subplot and henry was an unfortunate bystander#ah wait thats just the entire premise of st1#if you squint all of st1 is just a retelling of what happened to henry in the nevada caves#and if you squint even harder every other season after that is just. underground cave system lab. portal. scientist.#lost boy gets fucked up badly. henry. will. billy.
