I’m thinking about yotsuyu and like! did she understand that eyrie loved her. did she understand that they cared about her and wanted her to have the life she deserved. maybe they saw themselves in her. maybe they saw their brother in her. their daughter in her. or they saw her as this woman tortured by her life and the choices she made—her anger and rage and they wanted her to have a better life.

#they are in such a place after the incident in the Ala mhigan palace #lost because lyse says she doesn’t know who they are anymore. the person she was friends with before the banquet #lost because the death of zenos leaves them feeling like the only monster left in the cage #a great evil has been defeated and yet they feel Empty #asahi is a can of worms to unpack #it’s just. slaps the top of eyrie’s head you got SO MUCH UP THERE #they do get a bit better after that patch. when things are resolved #eyrie loved tsuyu but there was no saving her #deep down they knew she would not survive this conflict #and it’s a crying shame because she deserved so much better #they just hoped she knew they loved her before she died #it’s kinda like THE HORRORS ARE REAL AND BAD for a few patches and then it gets better #oc: eyrie kisne
