Just felt like drawing myself with some of my alts, hehe X3 A few of these I don't draw often enough, hope to fix that in the future! And because I worked hard on them, I also included alt shots with the furry, Lord Jess (the Arceus 'jinka), Jezu (the Zora), and the alien all in full view. (dog me's hands are on the same layers as human me hence why it's got wrist stumpies here)

Some facts about the Pantheon

Ghillie Dhu is a bit of a pervert. He also likes to torment Lady Diamond with his own time-based abilities. The reason I mention these in tandem is because he once created a plethora of miniature (ie. himself-sized) time distortions that, once Lady Diamond examined them via her fourth-dimensional monitor, spelled out a message for her: “SEND NUDES”

Lord Blitz is pretty much a celebrity in Kanto. He doesn’t shy away from the average joe like his compatriots Lady Frost and Lady Flare do, something they have in common with the majority of the Pantheon, and is probably the most commonly spotted legend in the world. If someone mentions they met Lord Blitz, the reaction is typically less astonishment or disbelief and more along the lines of something like “so did he pay for your coffee or what”.

Just for fun, when Lord Jess goes among the masses in her Jess Sweet alter ego, she sometimes prowls about places of Arceus worship and taunts worshipers about Arceus not existing. She vaguely recalls from her previous existence as a mortal in another life that this would be hilarious for a god to do, insist that they didn’t exist while standing right in front of their worshipers, and so does it with glee.

Only two people within the Pantheon know of Lord Jess’s true origins: Logos, due to them being knowledge incarnate, and Indigo, who Lord Jess sees as her child and thus refuses to keep secrets from her.

Logos is blind. Completely incapable of sight, either through their constantly closed eyes (which wouldn’t be able to see even if they were to open) or via alternative means. Due to being knowledge incarnate they still know what everything they interact with would look like, they just can’t see anything in real time.

Despite all intentions to prevent this from happening, Lady Pearl and Dimentio are pretty close friends. The fabric of reality has never fully recovered from their antics.

Everyone within the Pantheon aside from Lord Jess has the ability to turn an ordinary person into an Emissary. To make someone an Emissary, they grant them part of their immense power, but in exchange the Emissary must serve the Legend or Mythic in some manner or other. This obviously means different things depending on who takes on an Emissary. The more powerful ones can have several Emissaries at once, while the weaker ones can only have one at once. There are sometimes feuds involving the employment of Emissaries, specifically with Lady Diamond trying to prevent Lord Platinum from gaining one, and Dimentio’s attempts to gain an Emissary being stopped by nearly everyone.

Lady Diamond, Lady Pearl, and Lord Platinum used to call Lord Jess “mom”. She appreciated their affections but it bothered her with it coming from them, so they stopped after a while at her request. However, when Indigo refers to her as such, she doesn’t mind.

First ship: Dear lord I can barely even remember my first fandom, I think it was Warrior cats?? Maybe Sonic X?? Actually I think it was from this one book series I read in elementary school, Goddess Girls, and because of that I believe my first ship was Persephone and Hades but specifically those versions of them

Three ships: Oh easy, Spiritshipping (Jaden and Jesse from YuGiOh GX), Kiribakuraka (OT3 of Kirishima, Bakugou, and Uraraka from BNHA), and Oona, Jax and An Tzu from 5Worlds! (It’s such a good graphic novel series PLEASE go read it!!!)

Last song: Take Me to War by The Crane Wives!! I’ve had practically on loop the past few days it’s so good!!

Last movie: Uhhh whatever the last installment of the original Hobbit series was, the five armies one I believe? It was more my family was watching the movie and I was just in the room so idk

Currently reading: Detours by @browniefox on ao3! It’s a Pokémon Legends Arceus fic where Ingo, Akari, and Rei! Get thrown back into the future! It’s so good go give it a read and some kudos <3

Currently consuming: Nothing at the moment, though I had a nice almond chocolate bar earlier!

So remember when everyone was going nuts over that big ol' Sinnoh beta leak, especially the beta Arceus sprite? Even though I don't agree with the circumstances in which that was discovered, I still figured I'd do something with that, and since I hadn't drawn my Arceus Pokejinka self-insert in forever I decided that would be neat. So here's Lord Jess in the moments before achieving what would more or less become their permanent physical form. ...They? She? I don't actually know whether going with past "she" or current "they" would be better for Lord Jess going forward. Maybe Lord Jess might be a version of me that still prefers "she", I dunno. Either way Lord Jess is just as nonbinary as real me no matter what pronouns she or they use! >:3

Background is an image of various galaxies taken by the Hubble space probe, and as all images produced by NASA is available for royalty-free use. I don't even know if credit is required, but to neglect credit would be a great disservice to everyone who made that possible!

Creating the universe can be a hell of a lot of fun sometimes. Hehe, just realized I hadn't drawn many of my legendaries in so freaking long, so I figured I'd have some fun with my self-insert Arceus. Also I wanted to go with something other than normal typing for once, so thanks Mads for helping me decide on that (using the flying form atm).

Despite me willfully treading deeper and deeper into Legends Arceus hell, I just wanna go ahead and head it off at the pass: while Hisui obviously exists in the history of Chronicles of Tajiria, being a key part of Sinnoh’s past, I will not be including any of my PLA Pokemon on this blog for various reasons:

Like with my playthroughs of Let’s Go Eevee and Shining Pearl, I do not yet have a set team for PLA, and while I’m getting closer to figuring out who’s more likely to stick with me in endgame I’m still trying to keep a lot of Pokemon up with the rest in case I change my mind.

The animalistic nature of Pokemon is a key part of PLA’s plot, as it’s a time where people and Pokemon don’t have a solid relationship yet and thus are not completely “partners” yet. This makes turning them all into people a more awkward affair than it would with the main series, not to mention there might be some implications with that that I am not entirely aware of but I’m not taking any chances.

The game’s characterization of Arceus, at least going by the intro, is much more formal and stereotypically “godly” than Lord Jess, the interpretation of Arceus in this blog’s canon. They are a lot more like their real-world namesake (ie. myself), being very laid-back and casual. As such, the tonal shift would be unfitting.

If the isekai element were to be kept, a Rowlet Pokejinka from the current day sent back to the past would more than likely still evolve into Alolan Decidueye, unless merely being in Hisui for a few weeks or so would be enough to trigger that difference.

I do not want to have this fifteen year old Rowlett boy try to explain to the people of a centuries-past pre-name-change Sinnoh why he seriously wants and needs the people around him to refer to him as Rice Pilaf.
