— neteyam headcanons ⋆·˚ ༘ *
genre: fluff, SFW
wc: 496
a/n: delivering what needed to be delivered. 🤝 enjoy this while i work more on next part of tardy .
dialect !
chillest mate ever award goes to neteyam. he doesn't care who you talk to, whether it be a male or not. (trusts you to the moon and back). he loves the shudders he gets when he hears your "angelic" voice. (that's what he calls it aw). he absolutely adores having long talks with you. it makes him feel so good sitting beside you, playing with your beads, and conversing. it could be about anything, anything he could think of. just to be with you. not the kind of you that goes on hunts, or takes care of children, or rides on an ikran. he loves the real you. when you unwind from everything, relax, and take all the tension away. the kind that sometimes gossips about na'vi scandals. or the kind that sometimes hides from the olo'eyktan to escape hunting duty. that's the real reason he loves conversing with you.
hand touching !
LORD HAVE MURTHY HE LOVES YOUR HANDS. (he loves everything abt u but has this little thing about your hands). maybe it's how you play with his hair or those little moments where you'll hold hands in between hunting duty. or how you'll hold children while he wishes that someday you'll be holding his and your child.
he'll interlock with your fingers because it gives him security. his rough, scarry hands holding your soft, heavenly hands. his hands are always rocky from all the training he does. while your hands are smooth like a thanator's skin. you train twice as complex than him but still manage to keep your skin soft. he doesn't know how you handle these things,
atp this man thinks you're a goddess.
cuddling !
he'll take ANY chance he gets to nap and laze around with you. it's practically his favorite thing actually. and when i say any i say ANY, let's just say he's sneaked into your marui not listening to jake's instructions. his favorite cuddling position is the honeymoon hug because he's as close to you as he can be. or he'll just lay on your thighs while you'll hum out his favorite melody. he's hella pampered, but mans deserves it. after a long day of hunting and fighting he'll come to your marui and just absolutely topple on top of you and snore to sleep until morning. my guy does not let you sleep at night with his baby snoring. you find it cute thoe
extra !
you both match. every. day. you made a similar headpiece and neckpiece as his and wear it every day. his reaction was very much wholesome. he just felt so good to be appreciated. + you looked DIVINE. you both have heard multiple times that you have a breath-stopping aura. you guys are such a power couple it's crazy. people will stare at you while you just carry on with your normal day.

Amrita Talon Abraxas
Amrita is the nectar of immortality which was churned out of celestial ocean of milk (Kshherasagaram) by the Gods and demons. The story of getting Amrita is described in ancient Hindu scriptures. The legend has great importance in both ‘Shaivite’ and ‘Vaishnavite’ system of beliefs.
Myths of Amrita
Hindu texts explain amrita as an elixir, consumed by the Gods which made them eternal. According to the legends, four drops of the nectar fell upon earth at Ujjain, Prayag, Haridwar and Nasik. Once, there was continuous war between Gods and demons. The Gods were afraid of losing the battle. Lord Vishnu suggested them to churn the ocean of milk to get Amrita. By drinking Amrita, Gods will be immortal. Devas and Asuras (gods and demons) united their efforts to churn the ocean of milk in quest of Amrita. Gods were holding the tail of Vasuki while the demons were holding the side of the head of the serpent. Mandara Mountain was used as a churning stick and mythological serpent Vasuki was used as the churning rope.
Lord Vishnu took the form of his incarnation, ‘Koorma’ (tortoise) to hold the Mandara Mountain in place so that it does not sink into the ocean. Many precious things came out by churning the sea. Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth emerged from the ocean and also the moon God Chandra. The divine elephant Airavata came out which was occupied by king of God, Indra. After that emerged the precious stone, ‘Kaustuva’, which Lord Vishnu had put on his chest. After all these, came the dreaded poison, ‘Kalkoota’, which was so toxic that all the creation was about to destroy. Gods and demons appealed to Lord Shiva to save them from the fumes that the poison yielded. Lord Shiva consumed the poison to save the world and retained it in his throat, which turned blue due to the effect of the poison. Henceforth, Shiva is known as the name of 'Neelakantha' or 'Vishaapaharana Murthy'.
Devasand Asuras continued with the churning of ocean after their obstacles were overcome in quest of their ultimate goal, Amrita. Finally, they got their reward when the divine physician Dhanvantariemerged out of the ocean with a pot bearing the celestial nectar of immortality or Amrita. A fierce tussle followed between the Gods and the demons regarding who will have the share of Amrita. Again Lord Vishnu took the responsibility of protecting the God. He took the guise of a beautiful charming lady named Mohini. Mohini persuaded the Asuras with her charm and served all the Amrita or ambrosia to the Gods. Thus, Lord Vishnu saved the world from the calamity that was about to take place if the Asuras had attained immortality by drinking Amrita.
Two of the Asuras were aware of the trick of Mohini. They took the guise of Gods and got a dose of Amrita. Vishnu came to know the fact and when the Asuras had consumed only half the dose of Amrita, he proceeded to destroy them. The Demons took the form of Rahu and Ketu respectively. Rahu had snake's head and human body while Ketu had human head and snake's body. Vishnu destroyed Rahu's body but his head was saved due to consuming Amrita up to the throat. It is believed that Rahu is the cause of solar and lunar eclipse as he engulfs Sun and Moon because they could see him through his guise. Another legend tells that serpent Vasuki consumed the Amrita against the wishes of sun and moon and his body was split into two demons, Rahu and Ketu and thus they became permanent enemy of sun and moon causing the eclipse.

Thangalaan Movie Review: The film works because of its concept and Pa Ranjith's execution.
Thangalaan Movie Review Synopsis: THANGALAAN follows the narrative of a brave guy. The year is 1850. Thangalaan (Chiyaan Vikram) is the Veppur village leader, who lives with his wife Gangamma (Parvathy Thiruvothu) and their four children. Despite his position as chief, he is forced to labor as a bonded labourer. The zamindar's (Vettai Muthukumar) soldiers set fire to his farm, destroying his produce. He is unable to pay taxes and is compelled to relinquish his land. This is when Lord Clement (Daniel Caltagirone), a British officer, comes in Veppur. He is looking for gold in a nearby region and asks the Veppur people for assistance because he is aware of their ancestral ability in locating it. Everyone initially refuses, claiming that the gold mine area is filled with ghosts. Thangalaan's great-grandfather, Kaadaiyan (Chiyaan Vikram), was also an expert. Thangalaan agrees, and a few villagers accompany him in the gold-finding mission. Thangalaan, on the other hand, suffers from hallucinations of Aarathi (Malavika Mohanan), a sorceress and defender of the gold field. What occurs next determines the rest of the film.
Thangalaan Movie plot Review:
Pa Ranjith and Tamil Praba's plot is creative and unique. Pa Ranjith and Tamil Praba's screenplay has flaws, but it is thorough, engaging, and addresses some significant subjects. Azhagiya Periyavan's dialogue is crisp. However, the Hindi-dubbed dialogues fall short of expectations.
Pa Ranjith's direction is exceptional. There is no doubt that he is technically proficient. He has previously employed sound, mood, camerawork, and other techniques to create a distinct cinematic experience, and THANGALAAN is no exception. The moment in the pre-climax that transitions from night to day and back again demonstrates his creative ability. He also offers the film a commercial approach while avoiding the common cliches seen in mass entertainment. He does everything his own way. While doing so, he discusses caste atrocities and avarice, which contributes significantly to the picture.
On the other hand, in numerous instances, the film becomes overly weighty and even untidy. There is a lot going on, and the audience may become overwhelmed as they assimilate everything. The film is also quite abstract, and despite commercial components, it is not your standard mass-appeal film. These two reasons would limit the attractiveness.
Thangalaan Movie Review Performances:
Chiyaan Vikram becomes unrecognizable. His change is incredible, and his performance is nothing short of spectacular. He has delivered some outstanding performances, and this is undoubtedly one of his greatest. Parvathy Thiruvothu gets into character and appears to be a poor peasant. She also has a significant role and performs admirably. Malavika Mohanan has a minimal screen time but steals the show. She is an excellent fit for the role. Daniel Caltagirone is amazing. Vettai Muthukumar is barely present. Hari Krishnan (Varada), Preeti Karan (Arasani), Arjun Anbudan (Asoka), and others provide valuable support.
Thangalaan music and technical aspects:
G V Prakash Kumar's music is not chartbuster and may not appeal to the Hindi audience. The film's tracks, including 'Murga Murgi', 'Katai Ghana', 'Koi To Aae Raah Dikhae', and the title song, fail to attract. G V Prakash Kumar's background score is significantly better.
Kishor Kumar's cinematography is stunning. The action in Stunner Sam is a little gory, but it works well for this type of picture. The outfits worn by Aegan Ekambaram and Anitha Sundaresan are not glamorous, but rather realistic and rustic. S S Murthi's art direction is thoroughly researched. Hybrid 360's visual effects are exceptional. Selva R K's editing could have been smoother and faster-paced.
Thangalaan Movie Review Conclusion:
The film's concept, execution by Pa Ranjith, and award-winning performance by Chiyaan Vikram contribute to its overall success. However, this is not your usual mainstream entertainer. As a result, its Hindi adaptation will require strong word-of-mouth from its target population to be successful at the box office.

Witnessing this profound display of devotion, Lord Shiva emerged from the Linga in all His glory. With His divine presence, Shiva vanquished Yama and conquered death itself.

Unforgettable Trichy Temple Tours
Trichy is a well-mingle of tradition and modernity built around the Rock Fort. It was a sanctuary of the early Cholas which later fell to the Pallavas. It has given great Tamil scholars whose offerings to the Tamil literature have been very significant. The city of Tiruchirappalli is famous for its sacred Hindu temples, including Sri Ranganathaswamy and the Rock Fort Temple complex, carved from the top of an 83-m-high rock. It is also known for its handlooms and paintings.
Uchi Pillayar Koil
Located in the Thiruverumbur area of Trichy, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is also referred to as Erumbeeswarar and Thiruverumbur Nathar and is one of the most fascinating sites to visit in the city. Legend has it that after killing Ravana, Ram gifted the idol of Ranganathaswamy to Vibhishana and asked him to place it anywhere he liked. However, the gods did not want him to take it to Lanka so they entreated Lord Ganesha to stop him. The result was that the deity took the form of Uchi Pillayar and ran away to escape from King Vibishana. The Rock Fort Temple is a combination of two 7th-century Hindu temples – one dedicated to Lord Ganesha and another to Lord Shiva. Geologically, this 83m-high rock is believed to be one of the oldest in the world – predating both Greenland and the Himalayas.
Samayapuram Mariamman Temple
Located at Samayapuram, on the NH 45 road that connects Tiruchirappalli to Chennai, this temple is one of the most wealthy in Tamil Nadu and attracts thousands of devotees every Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. Dedicated to Goddess Mariamman, it is believed that she provides solutions to all the problems of her devotees who offer sincere prayers in this temple. It is also said that the deity here manifested itself out of clay and was worshipped by villagers before 1000 years ago in an open area. Later the Vijayanagara kings built this temple for her. Since the main deity is made of clay, it does not receive Abishekam and Pooja like other normal temples. Instead, a small deity called “utsava” is kept enshrined before it for which both Abishekam and Pooja are conducted. This is considered as the soul of the Goddess and people believe that the Goddess stays in this utsava murthy to directly accept the Abishekam and Pooja done by the devotees.
Vayalur Murugan Temple
Vayalur Murugan Temple is one of the most famous shrines for Lord Subramaniaswamy. It is said that the saint poet Arunagirinathar, who wrote Thiruppugazh in the 15th century, visited this place and was blessed by Lord Subramanya. He also penned 18 verses of the poem here. This is because the saint was an ardent devotee of the kumara (god) here. The main sanctum of the temple houses Lord Murugan in Chatura Tandava posture which is a rare form of the deity. The navagraha sannadhi in this temple contains the solar god Surya, his consorts Sayadevi and Ushadevi as well as Shukra, Chandra, Bharani, Rahu, and Ketu. The Rajagopuram located at the entrance of the temple showcases intricate carvings and sculptures. It is also believed that this beautiful temple was made by Mahendravarman I, the Pallava king. During the visit, one can also take a holy dip in the temple tank which is named Sakthi Theertham.
Uraiyur Vekkaliamman Temple
The temple was built by Gochenkan Chola and houses the Goddess Vekkaliamman. Legend says that a saint named Sarama lived here and had a huge garden with rare flowers. He used to make a garland out of these flowers and offer it to Trichy Thayumanavar Swamy. Unfortunately, the local florist started stealing these flowers. The saint complained about it to the king but he paid no attention. In the end, the saint worshipped Vekkaliamman to stop this theft. The people of the village revere her as their guardian. They believe that Goddess Vekkaliamman pacified Lord Shiva in the Rockfort Temple in Trichy and saved the villagers from a horrible sandstorm. Due to this incident, the main sanctum of the temple remains without a roof. Also, it is one of the few temples in Tamil Nadu where devotees can still perform archanai in their mother tongue. The HR&CE department is considering allowing the option at more temples in the future.

Its lush landscapes, serene backwaters, pristine beaches, and vibrant culture make it an ideal destination for newlyweds. Among the many enchanting places in Kerala, Varkala stands out as a hidden gem in the southern part of the state. While Varkala has long been known for its stunning cliffside views and pristine beaches, it is now gaining recognition for another exciting activity – paragliding. In this article, we'll explore Varkala's paragliding potential and why it should be a part of your Kerala honeymoon package.

The most iconic feature of Varkala is the Varkala Cliff, which offers a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. Couples can take leisurely walks along the cliff, enjoying the cool breeze and the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. it’s an unspoken thing between all of us- the grief of all the friends you never got to say goodbye to. like, the friends youd make in science class because the teacher sat you next to one another, the friends from your childhood who you mightve only spoken to in school, but whose existence sunk its teeth into you and left a permanent mark. even the ones you were closest to, the ones you called best friend for a time, somewhere along the way you parted without even noticing it. somewhere along the way, you played outside for the last time, shared food for the last time, stayed up talking for the last time, said i love you for the last time. when was the last time? we didnt decide to stop being friends. we didnt even say goodbye. but ‘see you next week’ turned into ‘it’s been a long time’, and now, if you saw each other in the street, you might pretend that you didnt. you might not even recognise them. they might not even recognise you. you can’t remember the shape of their nose. and what about the connections you made online when you were a child, playing games that meant so little with nameless friends that meant so much? or when you were a bit older, talking to strangers but loving them like family? here, raise a glass to the friends who disappeared one day, who deactivated, who stopped messaging you back, because online friends can bring you just as much joy as real life ones, too. when the adults told you dont talk to strangers, they didnt consider the good morning! :) texts, the have you eaten today? texts, the trying to hold in your laughter at 3am texts, the i wish timezones and continents and countries didnt exist so i could hug you texts, the little pieces of a persons heart texts, blue light flooding across the world just to say i love you. sleep well. i love you. i love you. the grief comes in waves. it’s slow, and soft, and steady- you dont notice it pooling around your ankles at first, you dont want to- but it comes. childhood is where the grief begins. it’s reared like a well-loved pet, a hungry mouth under the tablecloth. a passing thought from time to time, when you remember the girl you befriended a long long time ago, and when you wonder where she went. it doesn’t feel like much at first. it doesn’t break you yet. it’s not like real grief, not like anyone died, but you had something in your hand and now it’s empty and you can’t remember where you put it. it’s like that, except the thing in your hand was a person who loved you, once. a person whose face you couldn’t draw if the world got on its knees and begged you. when you dont get to say goodbye to someone, your memory becomes a funeral, every conversation you ever shared with them a eulogy. because this is how the story goes. i had a friend. this is not a poem. i had a friend.
#my writing#for all the friends i’ve loved and lost#childhood#on friendship#on grief#old friends#i’m so sorry#the way i wrote this without knowing a few days later id actually lose a friend#why did i write this#lord have murthy#:’d#haha funny#pure pain#i’m okay#i’m mentally stable#girlhood#ava means bird#spilled thoughts#spilled ink#anyway i’ll shut up because i’m sad now
