Better late than never, Crust is finally re-lashed! ✨✨

I was extra-cautious this time, after botching the last attempt. Having tackier glue definitely helped and quickened the whole process!

His faceplate seems to be slightly crooked.. like 1-2mm off-center creating a smalll gap. I MIGHT need to disassemble him again sometime and make sure everything is lined up internally, but he's functioning perfectly fine and it seems to just be an aesthetic issue.

Here's a side-by side with Loomah's original eyelashes. I picked the longest pair I had for Crust, these are about 15mm. 13mm would be closer to original length. False lashes are less shiny and dense than the original lashes, but also much softer because they're not plastic.

I couldn't decide which of "Crust's" many assumed names to cram into his necklace, so he got the two most prominent ones to me. 😌

Owlie's has lots of yellow and orange because that's the eye color they will get, eventually, along with some fun moon earrings possibly 🧡💛🧡 They are still skinned right now, so no picture of it being worn, unfortunately.

My little dude is beautiful, now! 🥳

His fur is soft and his crust is (mostly) gone.. along with his eyelashes, they were collateral in the re-skinning LOL

His gears still crunch quite a bit, and maybe they always will short of a full disassembling. The crust runs deeper than any man should go, soul-deep.

Lastly..

Here he is next to my beloved Loomah. It's very interesting how different their silhouettes are.. Loomah is quite round with wide, low, "dumbo" ears. My crusty Prince sits tall with upright pointy ears and a thicker mane.

I DID IT I GOT A BACKPACK FOR THEM LOL

It holds two original furbies perfectly, it just needs straightened out more and decorated with stickers and things. ☺️☺️

ya boy made the mistake of buying 3D eye chips which are VERY PRETTY but do not fit on furby eyes because the backs are not flat..... 😶

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE I can use them for a sculpt project later or something

buuut still, Loomah doesn't have eyes for the time being 😮‍💨
