ok gang part 2: THE PLOT

dianne fucks up at her job somehow (like knocks over a vase or something idk) and as punishment she has to accompany evelyn on a trip to this ancient abandoned church in the country to get material for a new exhibit (im aware this is not even remotely how museums work but idgaf). evelyn and dianne dont really know each other, even though dianne technically works for evelyn.

they get to the church and IMMEDIATELY the vibes are off. its way too fucking humid, smells weird, and dianne is convinced the building itself is shifting. evelyn doesnt really notice or care, she just doesnt want to be there (much less with dianne) and wants to get the job done and leave. dianne eventually convinces her to leave early.

i really like the idea of a building being a living thing made of meat and organs for horror purposes, and it being a church specifically scratches my itch EXACTLY. the walls pulsing. the moisture in the air. religion itself swallowing you whole. AUGHHH I LOVE THIS STORY!!! we were talking just last class about incorporating more biblical symbolism, specifically giving dianne stigmata wounds as a result of digestion :3 im normal
