gonna turn off reblogs on the weather post soon bc a weather forecast is only any good when it's actually timely and also bc while people mean well when they give advice, nobody seems to think to check the notes to see if that specific advice has already been given so there's a LOT of duplication in my notes and i'm getting bored lol

#also a lot of people recommending box fans #which as far as i can tell aren't really a thing here? i don't know #the term seems to be used to describe a couple of different types of fan #but the one that i think people mean based on their descriptions of how to use it #is not really available from uk retailers suggesting we don't have those #plus can't figure out how you'd put that in a window given the way most windows open here #so i'm assuming we're also working with different windows #do enjoy the advice to just go to a place with air-con during the day #looks like i'm spending all day in tesco lads 👍
