and happy 10 years to one of the very first books that has ever truly changed me as a person. i picked up looking for alaska 4 years ago and fell in love with johns writing instantly. this book truly opened my eyes and helped me realize so much more of the world around me and i will never be able to thank john enough for this beautiful creation. "i may die young, but at least i'll die smart" #lookingforalska #10yearsoflookingforalska (at 10 YEARS 🚬🌏)

When adults say, "Teenagers think they are invincible" with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don't know how right they are. We need never be hopeless because we can never be irreparably broken. We think that we are invincible because we are. We cannot be born, and we cannot die.
