My sad ass knows a good 80% of frieza fics (I think I don’t fuck with fanfiction.net) so I’m gonna compile my personal favorites! I am a godless being and have no bounds. A lot of these fics ive read awhile ago, but I’ll try and remember the plot and things that took place. Anyways,

Yamza:

Red Currant - Basically the main character (imo) of Yamza fics. I remember staying up late just to finish this novel-like storyline. Honestly forgot what the plot was but I do remember a cute and wholesome ending. This fic also has a few sequels after the main story ended, so there’s also that to look forward to! I just know it’s very good so pls read ♡

Half a World Away - If Red Currant is the main character, then HAWA is its main supporting character/lead. I honestly mixed up the two because of similar chapter length and the fact that I stayed up and read this fic for days as well. This fic is basically Yamcha and Frieza blind e-dating. I love the slow burn and the fact that they have no idea about the other’s identity which makes it even more of an enticing read.

Free Of Charge - I specifically like this fic bc of its different take on writing Frieza’s character and his position/role. It’s a little out of character but due to the circumstances and setting of this fic, it works out and is honestly a refreshing take on his usual, one-way street characterization. It’s an ooc way of writing him that doesn’t annoy/irk me and that’s a very good thing because I typically hate an OOC Frieza.

Don’t Look Down - This was amazing and that’s all I can remember. That’s how I tend to feel about all of Maji’s fics anyways so to keep it short. Frieza is a possessive clingy little bitch, so basically himself. And they fuck a... lot? I think? They do that in other fics a lot but I can’t remember. I know the plot is amazing so 😎

In Discordant Equilibrium - Honestly one of my favorite fics of all time. If I’m going to be bold, I will say that this is the main character of the entire Dragon Ball fanfiction community, argue with the wall. Kidding, but seriously. This fic is just.... beyond words, it changed my life and cleared my skin. It delved deep into depth about Frieza’s character and I think that’s what I loved most about it really- The easy way to win me over is 1. slow burn and 2. Make a deep mental analysis about x character. This fic is amazing, long, slow burn I think? And just beautifully well written. Not enough words can be said about this one.

And tbh.... that’s all I have for friku sadly. I just am not into the current Friku fics currently out right now and that’s not against the ship or the writers. I forgot about the plot but I think it’s like.... Frieza makes you his pet?? Blah blah blah, you guys fall in love...???...!!! Very well written is what I can remember I am tired ♡ (read the complete fic by finding the other parts and opening a new tab. There’s part 1,2,3 etc.)

Blackmail in Winter - I know this one is darker than most on this list but I really like the fic! It’s a series of unfortunate events, basically your typical Frieza x Reader (the unfortunate event being fucking Frieza). Despite the fic not being complete, I personally think that where it ends right now might as well be the last chapter.

Perversions of Quiet Soldiers - An amazing fic by my bestie-westie (pls read it, it’s so good pls pls pls) and it actually gives us a Frieza WHOS IN CHARACTER and it’s just such a lovely portrayal of him. A unique plot that drives up suspense and you never know what’s gonna happen next! It is more “spicy” of a read so proceed with caution! :)
