I do believe butch/femme are lesbian only terms and I may be mildly annoyed if -#- someone who’s sapphic but not a lesbian calls themselves either one #I’ll side eye at most #unless you are a ‘queer femme’ who waters down what femme means and hates butches. fuck you #but no. men (cis men or trans men) cannot be butches. period #that goes against the whole POINT of the term. even more than someone who isn’t a lesbian ID’ing as one #‘but they’re adopting the chilvaric part-‘ that’s called being a good and polite man
