Okay i LOVE when artists put their own spin on designing the various Lonks so I put my spin on a handful of em!!! Going left to right:

Ravio+Link(Idk what people nickname this one? World???)

Game: A Link Between Worlds

Age: 16(same age/birthdate- consider themselves twins even though they’re not)

Personality: Chaotic Good- Link is v artistic and has excellent spacial awareness, one of the best at strategizing and adapting. Ravio is easily frightened, a Link without a Courage Triforce, but has a genuine heart and intelligent business practices

Twilight(Or just Twi)

Game: Twilight Princess

Age: 25

Personality: The tallest and physically strongest of the links, alongside one of the oldest. Very stoic and intimidating, but really has a heart of gold. Great with kids and animals.

Time(Sometimes called “Masky”)

Games: Ocarina of Time+Majora’s Mask

Age: 22

Personality: One of the more talkative Links, though isn’t much of a people person. One of the smaller Links in stature, but still can and will kick your ass. Often wears a Keaton Mask to cover scars. Wise beyond his years.

Wild

Game: Breath of the Wild

Age: 18(technically 118 but shhhh)

Personality: The worst people person, but a kind soul. One of the most physically fit Links, also one of the few who was actually trained as a royal knight. Worst case of Survivor’s Guilt. Loves taking photos

Link(Idk what this one would be nicknamed either- Awake???)

Game: Link’s Awakening

Age: ?????

Personality: Imagine a Tonberry from the Final Fantasy series: cute and smol but WILL one-shot you. Known to steal. Can pick up instruments easily with hardly any prior practice.

SO THE ONE ON THE RIGHT IM GONNA NAME “ORACLE”. IT’S THE “A LINK TO THE PAST” LINK, BUT CALLING HIM “PAST” WOULD GET CONFUSING SINCE I HAVE A “TIME”, AND ALTTP LINK IS CANONICALLY THE ONE WHO GOES THROUGH THE ORACLE GAMES ANYWAYS

NOW THE ONE ON THE LEFT IS “FOURCE”, LIKE A PLAY ON “FOUR SWORDS” AND THE “FORCE” GEMS YOU COLLECT >:3 AND LIKE HEAR ME OUT IVE GOT IDEAS FOR HIM

FOURCE USES THOSE GEMS TO SPLIT UP HIS SELVES SO LIKE 

 IF HE SUMMONS RED, THE RED IN HIS EYES AND THE RED PATCH ON THE TUNIC GOES AWAY ON THE ORIGINAL UNTIL HE REJOINS

IF HE SUMMONS SHADOW, THE DARK HAIR STRIPE AND HIS LITERAL SHADOW GOES AWAY ON THE ORIGINAL UNTIL HE REJOINS

SO LIKE USUALLY HE’S JUST ONE LINK BUT HE CAN BE ALL “oh hey you need some brawn? Lemme call up Blue and Shadow!” AND Y E A

ALL TOGETHER THEY’RE FOURCE, BUT SEPARATE THEYRE THE SAME AS THE MANGA: GREEN, BLUE, RED, VIO, AND SHADOW :D

SO HERE'S THE SAD THING I'VE LEARNED THAT'LL MAKE YOU FEEL EVEN WORSE FOR TIME

SO HERE'S HOW THE ADULT/CHILD TIMELINE SPLIT OCCURS: LINK DEFEATS GANONDORF AND HE GETS SEALED AWAY WHEN LINK IS AN ADULT, RIGHT? THIS IS WHERE THE ADULT TIMELINE HAPPENS. ZELDA THEN SENDS LINK BACK IN TIME TO RECLAIM HIS LOST CHILDHOOD. LINK THEN GOES TO ZELDA AS A CHILD AND TELLS HER EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED, THUS CREATING A NEW TIMELINE: THE CHILD TIMELINE

SO I WAS LOOKING THROUGH HYRULE HISTORIA FOR SOME CONTINUITY THINGS AND FOUND THIS

SO THIS HURTS BECAUSE THE FACT THAT WE START MAJORA'S MASK IN THE LOST WOODS AND LOOKING FOR NAVI IMPLIES 1 OF 2 THINGS:

LINK TRIED TO GO TO KOKIRI FOREST BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT NON-KOKIRI CAN'T ENTER THE FOREST WITHOUT GETTING LOST AND BECOMING A STALFOS. LINK LIKELY TRIES TO FIND NAVI SO THAT HE HAS HIS KEY BACK INTO KOKIRI FOREST(AND ALSO MIGHT BE HIM CLINGING TO HIS LAST HOPE AT GETTING HIS CHILDHOOD BACK, ALBEIT TO NO AVAIL) BUT MM HAPPENS INSTEAD

LINK WILLINGLY SACRIFICES HIMSELF, KNOWING THAT HE'LL TURN INTO A STALFOS, BECAUSE GANONDORF CANT FOLLOW HIM WITHOUT ALSO BECOMING A STALFOS AND ITS THE MOST SECURE WAY TO ENSURE THE SACRED REALM IS NEVER ACCESSED

AND ANOTHER THING

NOT ONLY IS LINK ROBBED OF HIS CHILDHOOD AND BASICALLY HIS LIFE, HE'S FORGOTTEN ABOUT IN THE CHILD TIMELINE

AND A THEORY BECAUSE ALL I KNOW IS SUFFERING

So we know that in Adult Timeline, there's a point where shit hits the fan but there's no Hero for... Reasons?

Now I didn't understand this part. We know that OoT!Link is in another timeline, which could explain things, but this happens years after OoT. It's also not an ending of the cycle because Link ends up reborn by WW

THEN I CAME UP WITH A THEORY

So Link's not only in another timeline, he's in Termina. Termina always had a big "time" shtick even before Link starts his time loops. So is it far-fetched to believe that time flows differently in Termina than Hyrule? Especially if Link's using time loops that reverses time in Termina but not in Hyrule. WHAT IF by the time Ganondorf arises before the Great Flood, Link is still in Termina(oR HELL MAYBE HE'S AN UNSLAIN STALFOS IN LOST WOODS) so he's not there to stop Ganon. His OoT self ALSO can't be reborn in the Adult Timeline yet because Link is STILL ALIVE in the Child Timeline and!!! Just!!! AAAAA

Anyways Time's story gets more and more tragic the more you read into it and like PLEASE protecc him

“Schrödinger's Link” is actually the best way I can describe the fact that my Time is some unholy amalgamation of his three timeline counterparts
