#i drafted a long rant but#it’s about this whole ad/ele ‘ controversy’#long story short i think people who are simply congradulating her for chosing to care for her body and long term health aren’t fatphobic#like#that word is so easily thrown around#i seriously doubt every single person who said ‘she looks good!’ did not mean that she looked ugly before#we’re attracted to people who are healthy.. and healthy looks different on every single person#i also talk about how there is a difference between ‘body positivity’ and just simply enabling unhealthy behaviors#body positivty can be lowkey very toxic#because when i was underweight and people told me to not change because ‘im beautiful just the way i am’#that just enabled my unhealthy eating disorder and nothing changed#i also talk about how simply believing that obesity is unhealthy makes you fatphobic when that couldn’t be further from the truth#like i said we’re all attracted to healthy looking people (that doesn’t mean skinny before y’all come at me)#healthiness looks different on every single person because we all have different body types and shapes and sizes#and we all have different genetics so ‘healthy’ really does look different on everyone#but bottom line is to say that someone who is merely congradulating ad/ele for chosing to love herself and chosing to become healthy#for herself her life her children her loved ones her fans ect is fatphobic is bonkers to me#if people are straight up saying ‘she was so ugly before and she’s so attravtive now’ then yes THAT’s fatphobic and body shaming#but like lmao#we can’t confradulate her for taking care of herself? what are we supposed to say like wow i wish she was still unhealthy??????#i don’t know#i know y’all will unfollow but like this is just my opinion#as someone who’s dealt with eating disordered and toxic body positivity#just because we’re saying adele looks good doesn’t mean we’re also saying she looked bad lmao grow up not everything is Drama and Tea stop#and no i’m skinny and have never been ‘fat’ so i don’t know what it’s like but that doesn’t invalidate my opinion#leah has mail 🐉
