Almost all of my favorites are here oh my god
And so many I don't see like Doctor My Eyes by Jackson Browne, TinMan by America, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing by The New Seekers, Daniel by Elton John, Lonesome Loser by Little River Band, and I can go on and on
This tourney is going to and will destroy me
And also the historical context with when a lot of these songs came out and what they are about just adds even more. Like, actually listen to these songs and read about what they are about and the impact because Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald was so unheard of that many family members of the wreck didn't even know it happened until the song came out. And the anti war songs and songs about peace and love and AURGH
I am shaking so much like this is my favorite genre so many of my favorites are here they're all so beautiful and tell stories and have such impacts. The 70s was a time that pushed for peace and love and it shows in all of these
