this is one of my favorite lines i've ever written, and it's true and will be. and because a lot of us are born in darkness, it never meant to be dying too there, we've got out our whole capabilities and our subconscious powers to eradicate it with our own light, our own light. Sending love to all 🌍 🙏 #theankiet #ankitsingh #poets #poetrycommunity #communityofpoets #intuition #loveisanart #lovelypoets #indianpoet #indiepoet #indianauthor #asianwriter #recordsawardee #theviralpost #viralquote #virallines #poetsglobe #poetstribe #poetsandtexts #beautifulwords #motivator #profoundwords #meaningfulwords #linesoflife #berlinlines #londonlines (at Washington, DC) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMs-Ce6lPTN/?igshid=t769rsk7lqt6

Croydon has a long and diverse history stretching back to the Bronze Age. Modern day Croydon has a bustling centre with excellent facilities and a prosperous business community - it is home to over 20 'blue chip' companies - has good links to central London, whilst also providing an easy escape to the country.
With a range of property on offer to buy or rent, it attracts diverse residents. The area has a variety of flats, including classic Victorian and Edwardian conversions and modern apartments and flats in purpose built blocks. Two bedroom flats to rent in Croydon will cost on average around £900 per month, depending on the location and the property itself. If you're looking to buy a two bedroom flat, expect to pay around £160,000. Houses in the area are also varied, with a good range of detached houses as well as Victorian and 1930s terraces and semis. A three bedroom house in a good location will be around £240,000 or more to buy, whilst renting a similar property will cost around £1200 per calendar month.
Moving to Croydon means you'll have all the amenities you'd expect on your doorstep - and more.
Croydon is now the second-biggest shopping destination in the region, after central London. Shopping Centres include the Whitgift Centre and the Centrale. It offers good nightlife with a variety of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and cinemas. There are several other smaller local venues for comedy and community events too so you're never short of options.
Despite its lively core, the area has more than 1000 hectares of green space and woodland so it's not hard to find some peace and quiet. The North Downs and Surrey Countryside are also within easy reach.
Sports and leisure facilities include Croydon Sports Arena, Monks Hill Sports Centre, a leisure centre and private gyms. There are also many sports clubs and associations so you can get involved with anything, from archery to yoga.
Croydon is located on the on the natural transport corridor between London and the south coast and has good access to the M23 and M25. The rail network connects the area to many major towns and cities across the UK, as well as Gatwick and Luton Airports, along with high speed links to the City. The main station for these services is East Croydon Station. West Croydon Station is on the East LondonLine operated by London Overground. The lightrail system, Tramlink, also connects Croydon to the surrounding area.
