good morning here’s me fiddling with colors on skylar’s design and also some a lot of thoughts wow this ended up being long. Also i really need to fiddle with the design a lot, cause it’s ...okay? but it could be much better and i wanna figure out how to do that.

first and foremost, this dude is arrogant. they  like attention, and seek it out. it’s a major reason they want to be a hero. It’s not that they’re a bad person, they’re more in it for the fame.

They like techno, dubstep, video game soundtracks (especially 8-bit style) and vocaloids, among other similar genres.

they’re 14. they have a fake id that says they’re 18, and they pass because toons age weird and the id is convincing. Will doesn’t buy it though (in fact, he recognizes subtle errors in it done by one guy that used to sell cheap parts to him, cause he knew that guy made fake ids as a side thing. Will never reported him cause he really needed cheap parts and that dude had the best quality for the price)

Will was very reluctant to let a kid audition to be his arch nemesis, but the kid had a lot of potential, and was the only one who won the mock battle Will set up for potential nemeses. (cause really, a hero needs to be able to defeat the villain, and if the other guys can’t do it, but this kid can, then i guess the kid gets the job.)

Skylar’s hair is naturally dark brown, and dyed two different shades of blue, and sometimes red or green. 

Skylar hangs out with guys a lot. They play video games a lot, and skylar is really good at finding glitches in games and exploiting them

Skylar isn’t afraid to bend or break the rules to get what they want. They’re pretty rebellious, but has a good sense of what’s traditionally good and evil. (I’m thinking like, they’re chaotic good? do i know my alignments well enough?) 

Skylar’s main powers and abilities:

--clipping (temporarily being able to phase through objects) --double jumping --being able to do some sick flips and tricks (not so much a power, but they’ll show it off in battle. a backflip or a summersault is cool AND functional if used right) --A quick glitch dash (which is basically like a dash in games, where the character quickly sprints forward for a small distance, but with a glitch effect. i’ll show what i imagine it’d look like in a drawing ) --tech hopping (being able to enter technology, at the risk of corruption or losing parts of themselves in the tech’s code the longer they’re in there, which my brother suggested i call “fragmenting”) --Freeze frame ( freezing time for a few moments to analyse the situation, but it costs a LOT of energy to do this) --A blast of energy launched from their gloves --konami code (entering the code on their suit allows them to use a random glitch. They don’t know what that glitch will be, but it’s kinda like in miraculos ladybug where she uses the lucky charm, and she has to be clever about what it means and how to use it.) this is risky because doing it too much causes them to glitch uncontrollably for a while, rendering them unable to fight --they can travel through power or phone lines quickly with minimal effort and hardly any risk of fragmenting, allowing them to arrive to the scene of the battle fast from almost anywhere. phone lines are slower, but skylar will take it if there’s no other option. ---most of their powers are enhanced or only accessible through the technology available in their mechsuit. --they’re half toon, so they can use hammerspace and a variety of other powers allowed by toon logic, and they particularly like anime and video game tropes.

their main weakness is their own power and hotheadedness. When they use their glitching powers too much, it can cause them to lose control and disable them. 

They’re also inexperienced in actual battle situations, and while they’re a quick thinker, they can make mistakes easily. 

because they’re the hero, toontown tends to lean fate in their favor, though, but if Will’s in the right, Skylar will get whatever they deserve.

They’re also not the best role model if you look at their behavior. yeah, they fight for the good side, but not for the right reasons. They’re arrogant and wants to prove to people how cool they are by fighting bad guys.

Will and Skylar may actually be good friends if they weren't enemies. WIll would be ok with it, cause he’s more chill, but Skylar would never hang out with him, cause he’s the bad guy, and would treat him that way no matter what, even going so far as to humiliate him in public outside of their respective roles.

i have an idea where skylar beats will up in public during off times like in a store or smthn, and carter happens to see it or happens to run into them like right after it happens, and goes to Will’s aid. And carter and skylar have a back and forth where carter ends up deciding that Skylar isn’t exactly a good guy, and ends up disliking the kid, saying that they’re the real villain of this fight, and will get what they deserve. (they end up being one of the few people carter genuinely hates, but even then there’s room for redemption arcs. carter’s a forgiving guy.) 

Toontown will eventually give Skylar the bad karma they deserve for that, at the best possible moment. like, maybe it gets revealed to the public what happened, and skylar gets humiliated, and it sparks a huge debate between will and skylar’s fandoms about who’s right.

They’re pretty much just an asshole to the people they feel deserve it. they behave well in school, and is a pretty likeable and popular person. Being a hero is what bumps them into popularity, and they like it a hell of a lot.

They’re also a potty mouth, (the worst of all my ocs, including kaylee, who does curse quite a but, but not as often) and hangs around humans and other hybrid toons (particularly humanoids.) 

They think furries are weirdos, and will treat animalesque toons (like carter) with disrespect. 

ALSO NOTE TO SELF THEIR BIRTHDAY IS AUGUST 29 IN CASE I MAKE THEM A MAIN CHARACTER.

I’m still working on this character, and i like them, but man they’re not the best character lol. I like the idea that will as a bad guy isn’t exactly a “bad” guy, and can actually be a decent person, contrasted with a hero who’s kinda an asshole. But there’s something about this guy i really like, and i wanna explore this idea and figure out a way to redeem them from that into at least not being such a jerk to Will when they don’t have to be.
