WIP Wednesday (12/20) | Mafia Front Restaurant AU (Part 76)

“Oh mon dieu,” comes from the behind Neil before he has time to dissect Andrew's possible compliment. Neil whips around to glare at Jean, whose head is poking out from the kitchen door.

“Get the fuck back in the kitchen!” Neil hisses in French. Jean bites back with a couple insults— one aimed at Neil and the other at Andrew— before flipping Neil off and retreating to his own domain. 

“Oh, he really hates me.” Andrew comments, looking the tiniest bit amused. “What did he say?”

“I don’t think you’d care to hear it in English,” Neil says. Then he drops his voice to a whisper, in case Jean is still listening. “I think he hates that you were there for Kevin after his… accident.”

Andrew’s expressions shutters at that. “You can tell Moreau to get over it. Kevin Day hasn’t spoken a single word to me since the night Riko offed himself."

"He hasn't?"
