everything else in the show is negligible except that loki being happy for 5+ seconds results in a nexus event that starts causing reality to collapse immediately
#the loki show#can we go back to episode 4 when everyone was going :/ at romantic implications because it was so weirdly done#and all the theories were about how loki and sylvie holding hands made them happy so the nexus event happened in an apocalypse#bc that was peak loki#what's funnier than loki smiling causing alarms to go off at the TVA#turns out the nexus event wasn't taking the tesseract at the start it was that taking the tesseract made him happy#classic loki was happy bc he was going to meet his brother again#croki was happy to be eating a cat#boastful got the stones#im going to assume kid loki was happy he beat thor in a fight and then belatedly realized he was injured and bleeding out for real#lokis aren't destined to lose they're destined to be unhappy and sometimes those things just overlap#no but do you know how funny it'd be if stephen literally messed with the timestream and wanda literally messed with reality#but loki being happy spawns the multiverse
