Anyone else getting sick of @amazon and their weak attempt at an in-house delivery service? Ever since they stopped using @ups as the shipping provider from warehouse to door, 1 and 2 day Prime shipments have slipped to 2,3, and even 4 days until your package arrives. It’s not because they didn’t ship on time. Amazon Delivery service is apparently unable to handle the logistics necessary to ensure packages are routed appropriately so they arrive within the target window. Packages show as arriving in your local area and scheduled for delivery ‘on time’ yet don’t show up all day then at 9p you get the tracking update pictured. I ordered a text book for Logan that was ‘order in the next 13hrs for 1-day shipping to arrive Jan 8’ so we’ll ahead of the listed deadline to make shipping out in time possible. Nope. . Based on multiple occurrences, here is a way to spot packages that are likely to not arrive on time. If it’s late in the day and you check tracking and can’t see where it is and track the delivery truck, then odds are you’re screwed. Your package will not arrive that day as expected. .
