Logan chuckled, leaning against the fence with his easygoing grin, hands casually tucked in his pockets. He watched her, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Look," he started, his tone warm and reassuring, "I’ve been around rodeos, ranches, and enough wild nights to have seen worse things than a girl puking in a bush. That’s not gonna scare me off, sweetheart."

He gave her a playful nudge with his shoulder, his smile widening. "If anything, it kinda makes me like you more. Least I know you can hang, even if your stomach doesn’t always agree." He paused, glancing down and then back up, a touch of softness in his gaze. "So, yeah," he said, letting his words settle with a bit more weight, "I’d still want to take you to dinner. Maybe not tonight," he added with a light laugh, "but whenever your stomach’s up for it."

Logan leaned in, his voice dropping to a teasing whisper. "And hey, just so you know—I’ve got my fair share of embarrassing stories, too. Stick around long enough, and you might even get to witness a few." He straightened up, giving her one last reassuring smile. "But don’t worry, you’re not getting rid of me that easily."

Logan’s heart raced as Isla’s words sank in, and he could feel the playful pressure from their friends outside the door. Normally, he’d thrive on a good dare, but this was Isla, and it was different. He scratched the back of his head, trying to piece together a response that didn’t make him sound like a total idiot...for once.

"Kiss you?" he repeated, voice cracking a little, which only made him cringe internally. "Uh, yeah, sure. I mean, you’re great, it’s not like I don’t want to..." He trailed off, his brain scrambling. "But, uh, this whole... 'crowd of people waiting outside' thing kinda takes the magic out of it, y’know?"

He flashed her a nervous grin, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "I’m usually pretty good at this dare stuff—bulls, ropes, the whole nine yards—but, uh, kissing you on command?" He chuckled, more at his own awkwardness. "That’s a whole different kind of rodeo, Isla."

Logan tried to regain some composure, but the words just kept slipping out wrong. "It’s just—you're... not the kind of girl you kiss in a closet just to shut up a bunch of idiots. You're—" He gestured vaguely in her direction, as if that explained everything, his smile widening with his own fumbling. "You’re, like, way too... important for that, right?"

He laughed at himself then, realizing how ridiculous he sounded. "Wow, okay, this is not going how I thought it would. Uh... how about we save this kiss for a moment that doesn’t involve our entire friend group taking bets on it? I promise I’ll do a much better job when we’re not, y’know, under the spotlight...well, under the closet bulb light," With a sheepish grin, he added, "Unless you’re just desperate for a terrible first kiss story. In which case, I guess I’m your guy. Or unless you just don't want to kiss me at all, in which case, I also totally get."

I'm open to pretty much anything, but I'll let you know if you hit on a NoTP or a squick or something, or if I don't know the fandom. This list will change as I think of different things or my interests change, but you're still welcome to ask me about any of it. Or anything else I've written about. Or haven't written about.

Lately I've been writing 1-2k in response to ideas usually. I'm trying to get myself to write drabbles and flashes but it's not working so likely if you ask you'll get something fairly long.

Anyone's welcome to ask for a fic even if we've never interacted before. Both specific and general prompts are welcome, and I like writing Gen content of all kinds as well as ship content, character studies, and worldbuilding.

The Usher Foundation 3: Whips and Chains

YVONNE: -e can't keep pretending like there's nothing wrong, Don.

ARCHIVIST: I'm just saying, it's not our business. He's probably just tired or something.

YVONNE: He's fucking drunk. You can smell it on him.

ARCHIVIST: He's getting his work done.

YVONNE: That's all that matters to you?

ARCHIVIST: [sigh]...what I mean is that he's functioning.

YVONNE: Logan needs help.

ARCHIVIST: Then go help.

[extended silence followed by footsteps and the creaking of a closing door]

[sound un-muffled as ARCHIVIST retrieves his smartphone from his pocket]

ARCHIVIST: Oh. It's already going. Guess I'll cut that part out later. [audible exhale]...Statement of Anna Vanberg, regarding her own monstrosity. First, let me tell you how I became a dominatrix.

Growing up, I had an enormous bed, and I literally lived in it. 24/7, I was hooked up to an IV that fed me a stimulant at 6 in the morning, and a sedative at 9 in the evening. Catheter. Bedpan. The only window was a skylight, and the room was soundproofed against the outside. The whole 9 yards of never, ever leaving the room. I was homeschooled, obviously, fed a steady stream of flashcards and books. I was taught math and science, but never literature, history, or art. I took tests that, looking back, were way above what anybody my age must've been doing. I remember trying to be a happy child, over and over again, but there was nothing to smile about. Success and failure were met with equal nothingness.

When I turned 13, they geared my education towards the medical. By 18, I had more than enough knowledge to go to medical school. How they got me into medical school is, to this day, a complete mystery. Regardless, I was enrolled in Harvard Medical.

And no, they didn't prepare me for going outside for the first time. They didn't prepare me for social interaction, or caring for myself, anything.

I struggled enormously. My eyes weren't even adjusted to seeing so many colors. I had almost zero musculature, and I was constantly shitting my dorm bed. My only redeeming quality was that my grades were good.

That's where the sad shit ends. I went to counseling at the recommendation of a professor, who noticed my complete abnormality. I gained weight, even made some friends. I got invited to a party, and that's where things got sexy. Never in my entire life had I even masturbated. Men, women, I needed them all, and I got them all. Sex was somewhere where conventional social skills were thrown away, and I was able to control people with it. They wanted me, and I made them work for it. Money, test scores, companionship, whatever I desired, I got in exchange for riding them and choking them.

Meanwhile, my parents never checked in on me. They paid my tuition from afar, but I didn't even have their number, so the pressure was off. I never became a doctor, I became a full-time dominatrix, operating out of my apartment in Boston.

I went on like that for years. Bliss. Absolute bliss. I tied my subs up like a spider traps flies in its web. I threatened them with knives and made them dance, strings around their necks and whatever parts they had between their legs. I'll be honest: I pushed a lot of boundaries. Made them do a lot of shit they would've been uncomfortable with had they been with any other domme. Not just in a fetishistic sense. I made them stretch their bodies, or put them in a trance with mere suggestion.

My life growing up became a blur, and I didn't give a shit about it anyway.

And then, like a thousand other stories told recently, COVID hit. I was truly alone for the first time since college. A lot of my subs wished me farewell - at least until the emergency ended - but a few others requested we do...socially distanced play.

It got freaky fast, and I'm not talking kinky. I'm telling you, they weren't just playing, I was controlling them. I'd move my finger and they'd raise their arm, I'd snap and they'd orgasm instantly. They couldn't even speak when I did this, not unless I made them. It stopped being sexy, and I just started doing it for kicks, and they kept coming back, begging me to do it again, no matter how terrified they looked afterwards.

They were addicted to me, and the feeling was mutual. I couldn't go a day without watching one of them squirm under my grasp, choke when I didn't let them breathe, sob and beg me to make it stop. I'd only respond by making them feel more pain. I'd fire their nerves, even sever them. Next day, they'd blow up my phone saying thank you.

One day, though, I didn't have any appointments. I was starving for it instantly. My skin was itchy. I was hungry no matter how much I ate. I was cold and shivering. I stared out my window, and saw him. A normal man, walking down the street, on the other side of the road. The way I felt...it was the same way I felt when I saw all those people at my first college party.

He snapped to attention, watching me through my window from across the street. I beckoned him to come forward, nearly drooling with hunger as he came closer and closer.

As he stepped into the street, a car struck him hard and fast, and I felt amazing. It was like an orgasm that lasted hours. It was a better fix than anything I'd experienced so far.

That was back in August. I can't even begin to tell you what I've done since then. I'm e-mailing you now because, well, first of all, I didn't know you guys were a thing until a few weeks ago. But I've felt this urge to tell you...I need to tell you.

Logan psycho-analyzes Virgil, impressing him and surprising Patton and Roman. Patton and Roman go to get Virgil something to drink, and give Logan and Virgil some free time to talk.

Logan asks Virgil if he will stay with them after all. Virgil agrees to do so, “at least for a little while.”

It is discovered that Roman, who has used all of his spells for the day, is now Exhausted as well! He’s only at 1 mark, though, and brushes it off by insisting he will get a full night’s sleep tonight.

They all drink some water and talk, getting ready to embark on the road~!

You cut back to Lord Thomas and his Court, discrepancies in his “Escaping the Underdark” story making you think that Lord Thomas might actually be Lord Donovan in disguise!

He is strategizing with his Council, and a now armor-clad Amaryllis!

From their interactions, it seems like Thomas is listening more to her than to the Council, which the Council does not look comfortable with. Theocritus specifically looks like he really doesn’t like Amaryllis, but this is probably for a deeper reason…

Remy watches from the shadows, seemingly distrustful of,,,something?

Amaryllis is warned that Donovan might be Thomas! She excuses herself to a separate room to talk to all of you, insisting you bring forth proof for such a serious claim.

She casts Hold Person on Remy when she catches him sneaking into the room to spy on her, and the two of them are informed about the suspicions. Amaryllis laughs them off, having known both men personally, and insisting they cannot be the same.

She un-frezes Remy, and their friendly-if-awkward interactions hint at a shared past! It is revealed that Amaryllis was a friend of Remy’s mom, Nyx, and spent a lot of time with her and Remy before she died!

More details about Donovan, Nyx, and Amaryllis’s friendship lead both all of you and Amaryllis to realize that Theocritus was not Remy’s father – Donovan was. Making Remy a Half-Vampire?

Amaryllis puts the rest of the details and memories together, realizing that Remy is the one who killed her, Nyx, and Andromeda, by draining their blood while ‘sleepwalking’.

Amaryllis brings Remy back to Theocritus after the end of the Council meeting, and the three of them – along with Joan, who keeps sending coded messages back and forth with Theocritus under the other two’s noses?? – figure out the entire situation together.

Theocritus admits that he knew Nyx was cheating on him, but didn’t know with who, or about Remy’s moonlight vampirism.

You pay a visit to Emile to try and find any bite marks on him, and you find a small cluster of them!

Theocritus assures Remy that he always has been and always will be his son, and by that measure, Logan’s brother – no matter who his blood father is. Remy goes home to process all of this new information.

name of your favorite muse: Michaela Hayes (Lea Michele) will always be the closest to my heart. I have been playing her for 10 years through so many different rps. I just never get sick of playing her story out and I determined to until she gets a happy ending.

name of your very first muse: Logan Dugray (Chad Michael Murray) I kind of started with a few honestly on the same day but he was the one that I felt I had a real grasp on. He was a sweet guy that really wasn’t prepared for how harsh the world was.

name of your meanest muse: Carson Porter (Seb Stan). He can be charming and fun but past catching him at a party he is just cruel. He’ll say anything to get a reaction or make himself feel above others. 

name of your nicest muse: Roxanne Woodruff (Shantel VanSanten) She is genuine in every interaction. Completely empathetic and naive to a lot of things or people. She just always wants to leave someone feeling better than when they first started talking.

name of your most troubled muse: Atticus Hirt (Barry Sloane). He has a very dark beginning that he had no part in but has haunted him his whole life. A child born from rape, he has carried a guilt that he doesn’t deserve but uses his work to try and fix. His heart really does care about people but he can only show that with his job and refuses to get the mental health help that he needs. He fixates on things he can’t solve until it consumes him.

character you have the most muse for atm: I always have the most muse for Rae Thorne (Lucy Hale) and Flynn O’Malley (Grant Gustin) just because they are just so the opposite of me. Both bold in their own way and basically have the talents that I want haha. I feel like their complications are very much real, but don’t necessarily stem from something big and tragic, well at least Rae’s. They don’t always see their selfishness in what they do. Every choice they make is pretty much the opposite of what comes natural to me so it’s just fun to play that out.

two of your muses that would never get along: Alex March (Rachel Bilson) and everyone? Haha. No I would definitely say her and Billy Danes Jr. (Michael B. Jordan) they both have a lot of untapped anger inside them but they handle interactions so much alike that they would just bud heads way too often that conversation would barely be capable of happening. 

two of your muses that could be best friends: Hope Donovan (Tamera Mowry-Housley) and Cobie Brigance (Hilarie Burton). Would just be a lot of eating, gossiping, and karaoke nights. 

two of your muses that would make a cute couple: Noah Carter (John Krasinski) and Michaela Hayes (Lea Michele). They’d make such a sweet little family. And she’d finally have that love and security that she always wanted, and he would have the warm close family he never had.

two of your muses that are most similar: Cooper Wheatley (Jared Padalecki) and Bradley Jordan (KJ Apa). They both were much more mature before most guys their ages due to the things they went through that forced them to grow up faster than they should of had to. Both the quiet strong type. Both had to let go of their dream and settle for something else.

name of the muse you’d be best friends with irl: Dani Bradford (Olivia Wilde). It would be nothing but sarcasm, country music, and sports. Though I’d love to hang with James Leahly (Shenae Grimes) cause she is just a goof and cheerful, and loves movies and walks. 

name of the muse you’d probably hate irl: Gosh so many... Sterling Welles (Evan Roderick) comes to mind first. He is so entitled and aware of it but basks in it more than anything. And Landon Keats (Jesse Williams) while he has his reasons he’s just a grump all the time and doesn’t hold back his pessimistic views. 

a faceclaim you’ve been eager to use: There are like 80 new ones every week, so currently I have been really wanting to use... Keith Powers, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, and Matthew Goode. Then I just have all the old muses I want to use again.

Thaddeus is a Tonopah Falls native. He’s strong, loyal, cares deeply about his family and friends. He is one of 4 children.      

At 18 Thad enlisted in the United States Navy where he stayed until he was honorably discharged due to a head injury. Maybe it the the broad shoulders or the thick head, but the Italian had quickly made it to the ranks of Master Chief Special Warfare Operator. 

Thad’s quick thinking and abilities in the field were one of the reasons he made his position so young. Thad  is extremely head-strong and stands up for what he believes in, and spent countless missions protecting his country -- in his eyes the mission is now protecting and up holding the values the SOS believe in. 

During one of his first deployments home, Thad became closer with Logan Donovan. Thad was a mess, his last tour had taken a lot out of him and he was struggling. Logan offered him comfort, peace in all the darkness and most off didn’t push him when he was having a bad day. Though with their age difference he never allowed himself to grow to close to her.     

In between one of his last tours Logan and Thad drunkenly got married when he went to visit her in Vegas on a trip and before they could right their wrong he had to deploy again.      

It was Logan who received the call that Thad was being flown from a overseas medical facility to Walter Reed and to his surprise when he woke up it had been Logan whose head was sleeping on the edge of his hospital bed.      

Due to his wounds, When Thad was honorably discharged. Afterwards he  struggled with his purpose but he quickly found himself back with the SOS members - guys who had been his friend since he was younger. This pushed Logan and Thad away and though they didn’t divorce their secret marriage remained just that — a secret.      

Thad found himself seeing and emotionally connecting with Alana MacNally a Bradford native and everyone’s friend. Everyone who knew her loved her and when her life was taken due to an attack against the club Thad never forgave himself. 

HEADCANONS: 

Thad has a TBI, severe PTSD and doesn’t often speak about his time in the military. 

Thad and his sister Charlene “Charlie” are extremely close  probably the closest out of all of his siblings.

One of Thad’s triggers for his PTSD is fireworks 

His TBI was was a result of an ambush where his best friend died. 

His alliance to the club is one that he ranks about as equal as his time in the military they helped him reign himself back in 

Thad drinks his coffee black, prefers his whiskey neat and works out 5 days a week.

Daytime Emmy's Predictions

We have arrived at the big week for Daytime Television. As you have may have already done so, I will be giving you my predictions for who will be the big winners. Now, I just want to put it out there that I have been mainly watching GH for the last few years, but I have spent time watching clips of the other soaps as well. Feel free to interact with me, and comment your thoughts! Here we go..

1. Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful, CBS)

Marci Miller (Abigail Deveraux DiMera, Days of Our Lives, NBC)

Heather Tom (Katie Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful, CBS)

Maura West (Ava Jerome, General Hospital, ABC)

Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos, General Hospital, ABC)

My prediction: Maura West. She is soap royalty, and doesnt get enough credit for what she brings to the table, mainly because it is easy to dislike her role. 2018 was a big year for West as she had a self-realization storyline early in the year, followed by the aftermath of the Dr. Bensch- Kiki assault case, as well as the Kiki-Griffin affair. If not West, I can see Jacqueline Mcinnes Wood or Marci Miller taking the award.

Jon Lindstrom(Ryan/Kevin Collins, General Hospital, ABC)

My prediction: This is was the hardest category for me to decide. I easily had 3 winners but if I had to choose one, it would have to be Jon Lindstrom. It is about time he gets recognized for his talents, and after so much time in the background, Jon Lindstrom got a meaty storyline that happens to be hitting the climax in the next few weeks. He played dual roles, with one role being Dr.Kevin Collins who was kept in Ferncliff and was also blind for a long time, while his identical serial killer twin brother Ryan Chamberlain wreaked havoc on Port Charles. Playing two roles is difficult and not many can pull it off like Lindstrom did.

(My runner-up would be Peter Bergman for his portrayal of Jack Abbott, although it was presumed he wasnt an Abbott, which gave us brilliant acting from Bergman)

Max Gail allowed us to feel his pain, fear and suffering, and this storyline altogether has brought a renewed awareness to a cruel disease.

(My runner-up would be Bryton James, whom I strongly believe will yet again have a great chance to win next year as well)

My prediction: I strongly believe that the reigning winner of this category, Chloe Lanier, will yet again be the winner. Her portrayal of Nelle Benson once again haunted Port Charles, specifically the Corinthos-Jacks clan. Her twisted way of bringing pain to others to somehow offset the pain they caused her was intense, especially in the ever entertaining showdowns between Carly and Nelle.

My runner up would be Eden McCoy, who was also linked in this storyline with Nelle and Carly. I'm sure this is the first of many nominations for McCoy.

My prediction: Days and General Hospital really brought the drama. They had some huge storylines that brought some amazing performances, mainly why most of the nominees come from those two shows respectively. I could see GH pulling in the big award, but its definitely there's to lose as well.

Dakota nodded as she took a sip of her coffee. "It's skin, yeah. A bit gross, but hey, they don't have to see all the shit I do." But the truth was she loved her specialty - ER was fast paced and one never knew how the shift would go. It was a bit addicting to be honest. "I have no idea, Logan. It's pretty much the same shit happening as always.. alcohol and what not." Perhaps she would have cared a bit more if the Sons were in question, but otherwise she really didn't care what was the reason behind the fight of two drunks. "Um.. well?" Leaning closer to the counter and looking aside to check no one could hear her, Dakota continued. "Is that the real well or the-not-so-well well? Though this is not exactly place to talk, is it? But if you ever want or need to, Logan, I'm here." Said the woman who left everything years ago and never ever talked to anyone from Tonopah.. yeah - mending broken bridges wasn't the easiest thing to do. "Yeah, I get you. And.. uhm.. same." It was the-not-so-well well. "Taking day by day just like you.. I'm usually stuck in the hospital, but I have decided to change that. What's the point of coming back to town if I'd spend all my time working?" Well - the point was to stay low and never ever interact with anyone so she could have her freedom, but no man was an island, were they? "Right?" She laughed hearing the question and seeing the utter confusion on Logan's features. "I have no idea, but he was there.. and I went because I always loved going to the zoo. Find it kind of peaceful though it was everything but peaceful upon running into Nate," she concluded her words with a smile. "How's the rest of the Donovan bunch?" Of course she knew about Cassie's departure.. she could only hope she didn't go back to the Cassie she remembered seeing in New York.

“Dermatology is skin, right?” She questioned, tilting her head to the side slightly. Medicine had never interested her, to be fair - she had always been awful in science, which is why she ended up graduating with a business degree. Her eyes widened. “I guess it was a good thing they got into a fight at the hospital. What was the fight about, or do you not know?” Logan took a sip of her own coffee, before leaning her back against the back counter and listening to Dakota. After the morning rush, the bakery wouldn’t pick back up until lunchtime. Offering a shrug, she wasn’t quite sure how to answer the how have you been question. “Um, well.” She paused for a moment trying to find the right words, without trauma dumping. “Just taking it day by day, you know? You? Haven’t seen you in what seems like forever.” The mention of her brother, her face twisted into confusion. “My brother? At the zoo? Why was he at the zoo?” She paused for a moment, the confusion only growing. “Wait, why were you at the zoo? I didn’t even know that we had a zoo in Tonopah.”

In the standstill of the war that seems to be going on between Abaddon and Crowley, Crowley seems to be nowhere to be found. However, Sam Winchester has recently been possessed by none other than the fallen Lucifer. He managed to push him out. It seemed that all was still, with only Abaddon around once again.

Of course, the residents of Mystic Falls shouldn’t have tried to hold their breath. The drama in the Mikaelson house was relatively isolated, but that didn’t mean someone didn’t take notice. Lucifer, unknown to the rest of the town, took notice of this. Waiting just a little bit after the chaos, he wanted to make a statement. That he was here. That Hell would once again be his. That Mystic Falls had a storm coming, and that he would punish everyone and anyone who got in his way.

To announce his homecoming, with the help of a few rogue angel allies and the Horsemen, he plunged Mystic Falls into darkness. No electricity. No sunshine. Clouds reflecting doom and gloom and a magic border around the town, no one able to get in or out. Even angels and demons are not immune. Their powers are useless. They can only use them on each other in the room, but not to get out of the room, or Mystic Falls.

The citizens awaken in groups of threes (or twos), each in a classroom. The door is locked, and even super strength, witchy powers, or any other sort of supernatural intervention cannot get them out.

The town has been too tight knit. Too good. Even those who are intended to cause chaos and destruction —and Lucifer can’t stand it. His mission? Use the Horsemen to break the townies down. Possibly even turn them against each other. The other option? Death. To all those in the room—or to a loved one in a different room. Comply, and you might just be rewarded.

Roleplayer Notes:

Each room is going to be afflicted with a different horsemen. They’ll show symptoms relating to the Horsemen.

The plan is to tasks to a select few from Lucifer. Tasks will be given out the second or third day of the event. If the task is not completed within 48 hours, consequences will ensue. Those consequences may or may not be disclosed. If all tasks are completed by those who receive them in the classroom, they will be released.

Those who get out of the room will be free to roam Mystic Falls High, but will be still afflicted with their ‘symptoms’.

To get out of school, the character must have to face Lucifer himself.

Phones still work so everyone can still interact.

WINTER WONDERLAND

Much to the surprise of the entire residency of Red Creek, Christmas and New Year passed, it what can only be described as a thoroughly uneventful fashion. Though there were parties galore, and drama to be found around every turn, it was merely the kind of drama you’d expect to find around that time of year. There were family arguments over the dinner table, I mean sure - maybe not every family draw a shotgun on each other, but not everybody’s brother just found out he’s a werewolf. There were lovers tiffs at parties because it’s the worst feeling when you finally find your boyfriend in the crowd of people and he has someone else lipstick on his collar - or maybe it was blood? There were missing people reports, robberies and a few reports of burnt Christmas puddings and broken hearts on New Years Eve, but nobody died - well, almost nobody, Mean Old Man Herbert finally whispered one final ‘Stay off my lawn’ before passing away peacefully in his sleep at the beginning of the coldest winter Red Creek has witnessed in a hundred years; but look on the bright side, Kids are now free to play on his lawn without fear!

Speaking of the coldest winter in a hundred years, the snow storms of Red Creek did not cease over the holiday period, much the opposite - to the dismay of the entire town who found it harder and harder to go about their day to day lives as the snow piled up around them. Eventually, the roads out of town became too treacherous to drive on, leaving residents trapped yet again, but if only they’d known that was far from the worst to come. Weeks passed and the town eventually ran out of salt to grit the roads and the sidewalks, people gave up shoveling their paths, many even gave up trying to leave the house entirely. The town came to a standstill, yet the storm raged on. Situations hit a critical point earlier in the week when the entire town lost power, knocked out by the heavy snowfall - officials said nobody could get out to them to do repairs until the storm stopped, and the snow melted.

The Mayor and the Sheriff pooled together all available resources and split them across three locations around town that were known to have backup generators; the Hospital, the High School, and the Sheriff’s Department. Word was sent out that those that were still able should make their way to one of these three locations immediately, for shelter, food, and warmth. The residents made their way to the three safety points in dribs and drabs, some headed out immediately - wasting no time, not wanting to get stuck in their ice cold homes, others made their way a few days later as the temperature dropped below zero, and others had yet to be seen or heard of.

But with the winds picking up outside and the temperature continuing to drop, even those that had found sanctuary with the generators were beginning to feel the cold. The town found themselves huddling together freezing, wondering if this storm would ever let up.

And then there were the rumors of a house, just off Main street, who’s lights were still on… another generator?

Welcome to January’s event - starting a little differently this time round, we’ll jump in mid-event, so to speak, in the midst of the action. Your characters will be at one of the three generator locations, and will be listed below. Please try to interact with as many new characters that you might not have spoken to before during this time.

It should also be noted that some species will be effected by the cold more so that others:

Tetra’s will deteriorate quickly, they cannot rely on frozen water and the drop in temperature will have dried out all moisture in the air.  

Reapers will also find themselves in a worse condition, due to already running at a lower than average temperature, they will be the first to suffer not to mention that they are still a mortal creature.

All other mortal creatures that run at a normal temperature (Human, Witch, Banshee, Hunter, Imps and Shapeshifters) will be effected by the cold, but less rapidly.

Werewolves and Phoenixes naturally run at a higher temperature and therefore will find they can withstand the cold for longer than most.

Vampires are immortal, and though they cold cannot kill them, and will effect them slower, they will start to deteriorate.

Ghosts have no physical body and are therefore unaffected by the cold.

Also please note that not everyone would have heard the rumor about the house with the lights on to start with, a search party will be chosen later in the event (by the admins) to go and check it out. Please feel free to message us if you are interested in being involved.

The event will start 17/01/17 @ 11:59PM GMT and end on 21/01/17 @ 11:59PM GMT

Logan chuckled at her medal comment, shaking his head with an amused grin. "Bull and the Back Alley Conqueror? Now that’s a title worthy of a trophy," he teased, glancing over at her as they walked. "I’m just saying, not everyone can claim that kind of accomplishment in one night. You’re setting the bar pretty high."

When she teased him about turning her "full country," his grin turned into something playful and a little more mischievous. "Oh, don’t worry," he said, his voice dipping into that familiar twang. "I wouldn’t dream of it. But I wouldn’t get too comfortable—you might just find yourself enjoying it more than you think." He shot her a wink, letting the humor in his tone soften the challenge. As she finally relented to letting him walk her home, he smirked and gave her a mock bow. "Well, I aim to please, ma’am," he said, falling into step beside her. "And for the record, being charmer isn’t a bad thing. It’s one of my more redeeming qualities."

The silence between them was comfortable, the kind that didn’t need filling—but when she broke it with her question, Logan glanced over, his grin returning. "Oh, you know," he drawled, clearly amused by her phrasing. "When I’m not rescuing damsels from shrubbery, I’m usually on the road—professional bull rider? Rodeos, competitions, and a lot of hours convincing myself this body can still take the hits."

He glanced ahead for a moment, his tone becoming more thoughtful. "But when I’m not doing that, I’m usually back at the family ranch, helping out my brother and keeping an eye on my kid sister. It’s nothing glamorous, but it keeps me grounded." Looking back at her, his grin softened. "What about you? When you’re not conquering bars and making medals out of your adventures, what keeps you busy?"

A light laugh left the blonde as she nodded at his teasing. "That's my story, and I'm sticking to it." she teased back. Dark hues rolled playfully as she brought her face to her hands to cover the growing blush that sprouted to her cheeks before she ran them through her hair and shook her head at him. "Maybe I should get that on a medal; Bull and the Back Alley Conqueror." she joked with another chuckle. Sharing laughs with Logan had been one of the things that had drawn Brooke to him in the first place, that and his charm, and he was effortlessly handsome. "That it is, and mine is a surefire thing." she teased back, sticking her tongue out at him playfully.

Truthfully it was an art form her brother had perfected for her, but she wasn't about to share the credit at this moment. Brooke's brows rose slightly when he mentioned a warning, though the one that came pulled a laugh from her lips. "Hey, the bull is one thing, don't think I'm gonna let you turn me full country." she teased back, despite the fact that if it meant listening to that twang of his voice for longer, she just might be willing to give the dance a try, though she wasn't about to admit as much.

Brooke's smile softened as she set her gaze on him, unable to stop herself from nodding despite the fact she was usually fiercely independent and would have insisted she didn't need an escort home. "Yeah, alright, charmer." she teased, rolling her eyes playfully as she ran a hand through her long light locks once again before turning in the direction of her apartment. Thankfully it wasn't too far, which was one of the reasons she'd picked this bar in the first place. "I'm this way."

They walked side by side in a comfortable silence for a moment before she piped up. "So, I'm curious. When you're not saving girls from shrubbery, what do you do?" she asked. It wasn't as though they'd talked too in depth in the time they'd spent inside.

Logan’s grin widened as he watched her laugh. "All doubles, huh?" he teased, raising a brow in mock skepticism but more than happy to go along with her story. "I gotta hand it to you—you definitely made the most of that ‘country bar’ experience. Not everyone can say they conquered the bull and the back alley." He chuckled, giving her a playful nudge. "And hey, no judgment on the saltines and ramen diet. Recovery’s an art form."

When she suggested tomorrow night, his smile softened, a warmer edge coming into his gaze. "Tomorrow night, huh? Now that," he said, his voice warm, "sounds like a plan. I’m all for giving you the day to recover. But fair warning," he added with that familiar teasing glint in his eye, "I don’t plan on going easy on you next time. I’ll have you two-stepping before you know it."

He laughed, then added with a smirk, "And you know what? For someone who just spent quality time with a shrub, you’re handling this pretty well." His voice dropped to a more sincere tone, his gaze meeting hers. "But in all seriousness—let me walk you home. Or to wherever you’re headed. You’ve survived enough for one night without having to make the trek solo."

Before she could respond, he shrugged and gave her a reassuring look. "Consider it my way of keeping you out of any more shrub encounters tonight. Besides," he added, tilting his head slightly, "I wouldn’t mind the extra time with you, if you'll let me, of course."

When Brooke's friends had suggested a country bar, she thought they were insane, but it had actually been some of the most fun she'd had in a long time. The drinks were cheap and strong, and the stupid mechanical bull had been electrifying. And the men were sweet yet rugged at the same time. It was a perfect mix, until it wasn't. She'd been mid conversation with the dirty blonde when she'd had to run from the bar to the back alley, finding the closest set of shrubs she could to relieve the contents of her stomach.

It had been relatively embarrassing, and yet somehow he'd still offered to let her come home with him. Probably all that country kindness and he was about to let her down easy this morning, which she'd totally understand. So when he brought up the reminder that he'd asked her out on a proper date, she was sure the surprise showed on her face, followed by the actual question on if he was sure.

His response pulled a chuckle from the blonde as she covered her face with her hands and shook her head slightly. Brooke pulled her hands away and looked up at him when he nudged her, and her smile widened slightly at his teasing. "I swear those drinks were all doubles." she countered, a chuckle following when he mentioned that tonight probably wasn't a good idea and she nodded in agreement. "Yeah, today will be a strict diet of saltines and ramen." she joked.

Brooke's smirk returned at his words and she ran a hand through her long blonde locks. "I have to admit, I'd be pretty interested in seeing that." she said, his smile pulling one of her own onto her lips. "So, how's tomorrow night sound then?" she asked. "Gimmie today to pull myself together." she added with a small chuckle.
