Top 10 Considerations Before Hiring Travel Advisors
Planning a trip, whether for business or leisure, can be a complex and time-consuming endeavor. Many travelers turn to travel advisors to streamline the process and ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. Before entrusting your travel plans to a professional advisor, it's essential to consider various factors to ensure they align with your preferences and expectations. In this blog, we'll explore key considerations to keep in mind before hiring travel advisors, helping you make informed decisions for your upcoming adventures.
1. Credentials and Expertise :
Begin by researching the credentials and expertise of the travel advisor or agency. Look for certifications from reputable organizations, such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA) or the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA). Consider their experience in planning trips to your desired destinations and their knowledge of specific travel niches, such as luxury travel, adventure travel, or family vacations.
2. Client Reviews and Testimonials :
Client reviews and testimonials provide valuable insights into the experiences of others who have used the services of the travel advisor. Explore online platforms, social media, or ask for references to gauge the satisfaction level of past clients. Pay attention to reviews that align with your travel preferences and expectations.
3. Industry Connections and Partnerships :
Well-established travel advisors often have strong connections and partnerships with airlines, hotels, and other service providers. Inquire about the advisor's network and how it benefits clients. Access to exclusive deals, upgrades, and personalized experiences can enhance the overall quality of your trip. You can also look for Accommodation & Transportation Expertise Travel Advisors.
4. Communication Style :
Effective communication is crucial when working with a travel advisor. Consider their communication style, responsiveness, and willingness to understand your preferences. A good travel advisor should actively listen to your needs, provide timely updates, and be transparent about the planning process.
5. Budget Considerations :
Clearly communicate your budget constraints and expectations to the travel advisor. A skilled advisor should be able to tailor the trip to meet your financial parameters while still delivering a satisfying and memorable experience. Be wary of advisors who push for options that exceed your budget without clear justification.
6. Customization and Personalization :
The ability to customize your travel experience is a hallmark of a skilled travel advisor. Inquire about their approach to personalization, whether it involves crafting unique itineraries, suggesting off-the-beaten-path experiences, or catering to specific interests and preferences. You can also hire only Trusted Local Guides Travel Agency.
7. Emergency Support and Assistance :
Unexpected events can occur during travel, from flight delays to medical emergencies. Assess the travel advisor's commitment to providing support in such situations. Inquire about their emergency assistance protocols, availability during your trip, and the extent of their responsibility in handling unforeseen challenges.
8. Travel Insurance Guidance :
Travel insurance is a crucial aspect of trip planning. A reputable travel advisor should guide you on suitable insurance options based on your travel itinerary and preferences. They should be knowledgeable about coverage details, cancellation policies, and how to navigate insurance claims if needed.
9. Destination Knowledge :
Evaluate the travel advisor's knowledge of your chosen destination. A well-informed advisor should be able to provide insights into local culture, recommend hidden gems, and offer practical tips for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
10. Clear Terms and Conditions :
Before finalizing any arrangements, carefully review the terms and conditions provided by the travel advisor. Understand the payment structure, cancellation policies, and any additional fees involved. Clarity in these aspects helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures a transparent working relationship.
Conclusion
Hiring a travel advisor can transform your travel experience from a logistical challenge to a well-curated and enjoyable journey. By considering factors such as credentials, client reviews, communication style, and destination knowledge, you can make an informed decision that aligns with your travel aspirations. You can also hire only Trusted Local Guides Travel Agency.

Saint Shri Sai Baba: Shirdi- Maharashtra
It is general knowledge that the holy man Shri Sai Baba lived in Shirdi towards the end of the 19th century. Shirdi is located in Maharashtra, India. One of the most financially successful religious institutions in the world is the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, which operates out of Shirdi as its main location. Shirdi is a well-known little town that is generally considered one of the holiest sites in the country. It can be found in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The well-known temple that is devoted to Sathya Sai Baba and is often referred to in a more colloquial sense as the Land of Sai is the most well-known place of interest for visitors to this city. The Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is regarded as one of the most sacred locations in all of India. The temple honors the life and teachings of the famous spiritual guru and was built in his memory. Each day, tens of thousands of Hindu and Muslim worshippers make their way to the site, which is not specifically associated with any religion, in order to genuflect before the golden statue of the benign guru. The site neither favor nor oppose any one religion. Because of the lovely climate and the fact that you will be able to take in all of Shirdi's attractions while you are out and about during the winter months, this is the best time to go sightseeing in Shirdi. During this time of the year, the temperature has a range that may go from -9 to 93 degrees Celsius, which translates to anywhere from 16 to 43 degrees Fahrenheit.
Please don't hesitate to get in contact with one of our experienced Trip Counselors if you have any questions about the educational and cost-effective Shirdi trips we provide.

"Officer Ryan"
Pairing: Spencer Reid x f!reader
Genre: fluff, heated, fade to black smut, still smutty, 18+
Warnings: smut, kissing, jealousy, flirting, touching, fade to black smut, no explicit s*x
Words: ? 2.5k I forgot to look at the wordcount
Summary: Spencer gets jealous of a too nice Officer and they finally confess their feelings, which leads to a perfect first night together.
It wasn’t the most pleasant case to work on, but that was the norm in our line of work. A string of disappearances had brought us to a small coastal town, and the team was operating out of the local precinct. The air smelled faintly of salt and coffee—two things that kept us going during cases like this.
I was leaning over the map laid out on the desk in front of me, pinning down the key locations the victims had last been seen, when I felt a presence behind me. Glancing up, I met the warm, almost too-friendly eyes of Officer Ryan.
“You’re really good at this,” Ryan said, his voice smooth and low. “I’ve seen a lot of agents come through here, but you? You’ve got a real knack for it.”
I smiled politely, though my focus remained on the map. “Just doing my job, Officer Ryan.”
“Call me Kyle,” he said, flashing a grin. He stepped closer, his arm brushing mine as he leaned over to examine the map. “So, what’s a smart, capable woman like you doing in a job like this? Doesn’t it get… dangerous?”
I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. “That’s the nature of the job,” I replied, keeping my tone neutral.
Across the room, I caught sight of Spencer, who was talking with Hotch and JJ. Or at least he had been. Now, his gaze was fixed on me and Kyle, his brow furrowed and his jaw tight.
“Still, it’s admirable,” Kyle continued, oblivious to the growing tension. “You ever think about transferring to a smaller precinct? A place like this, where you’d be appreciated more?”
I laughed softly, finally looking up at him. “I appreciate the sentiment, but I’m happy where I am.”
Before Kyle could respond, Spencer appeared at my side, his presence like a sudden storm cloud. “We need to review the victim profiles again,” he said, his voice clipped.
Kyle raised an eyebrow. “Agent Reid, right? You’ve got quite the reputation. Didn’t realize you were her partner on this.”
Spencer’s gaze didn’t waver. “Doctor. And we’re a team,” he said evenly, though his tone carried an undercurrent of irritation.
“Of course,” Kyle said with a smirk, stepping back slightly but not far enough. “Well, I’ll let you two get back to it. But if you ever need a tour of the area, you know where to find me.”
As Kyle walked away, Spencer let out a sharp breath. “Tour of the area?” he muttered under his breath, shaking his head.
I turned to him, crossing my arms. “Something you want to say, Doctor Reid?”
His eyes met mine, and for a moment, he seemed to struggle with himself. “I just don’t think it’s appropriate for officers to… distract agents during an active investigation,” he said finally.
I raised an eyebrow. “Distract? Spencer, it was harmless.”
“Harmless?” he repeated, his voice rising slightly before he caught himself. He glanced around to make sure no one was listening before leaning in closer. “He was flirting with you.”
I shrugged. “So what? It’s not like I encouraged it.”
“That’s not the point,” he said, his voice low but intense. “We’re here to solve a case, not… entertain advances from people who should know better.”
I stared at him, trying to decipher the storm of emotions behind his words. “Are you seriously upset about this?”
He hesitated, his jaw clenching. “I just don’t like seeing you treated like that. Like you’re… an object of someone’s attention instead of the brilliant agent you are.”
His words caught me off guard, and I felt a flush rise to my cheeks. “Spencer…”
Before I could say more, Hotch called for us to regroup, and we had no choice but to drop the conversation.
Hours later, I found Spencer in the precinct’s break room, staring at a file but clearly not reading it.
“Spence,” I said softly, stepping into the room.
He looked up, his expression softening slightly when he saw me. “Hey.”
I closed the door behind me, leaning against it. “About earlier…”
“You don’t have to explain,” he said quickly, though his fingers fidgeted with the edge of the file. “It’s none of my business.”
“Actually, it kind of is,” I said, stepping closer to him. “You’re my friend, and if something bothers you, I want to know.”
He let out a breath, setting the file down. “I just… I didn’t like the way he was talking to you. It made me—” He stopped, his cheeks flushing slightly as he searched for the right word.
“Jealous?” I offered, a teasing smile tugging at my lips.
His eyes darted to mine, wide and uncertain. “Maybe,” he admitted quietly.
I smiled, my heart softening at his vulnerability. “Spence, you don’t have to be jealous. Kyle means nothing to me. But you…” I hesitated, the words hanging in the air between us.
“Me?” he prompted, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Yes Spencer, how could you not know what...". Footsteps interrupted our moment. "We'll talk later", I said in a hushed tone, just as an Officer came around the corner.
---
The precinct was quiet now, save for the faint hum of fluorescent lights overhead. Most of the officers had called it a night, and the rest of the BAU team had dispersed to their rooms. But Spencer and I lingered, the weight of the case and the events of the day still hanging between us.
I leaned back against the edge of the desk, pretending to go over some notes, but my mind kept drifting to Spencer. More specifically, to the way he’d stiffened earlier when Officer Ryan had approached me. The man had been nice enough, polite and professional, but his compliments had been a little too pointed, his interest a little too obvious. And Spencer had noticed.
I glanced over at him now, sitting stiffly in his chair, his eyes fixed on the file in his hands. He was still wearing his dress shirt and tie, though his sleeves were rolled up, exposing his forearms. Normally, he had a way of blending into the background, but tonight, he seemed larger than life.
“You’ve been awfully quiet,” I said, trying to keep my tone light.
His eyes flicked up to mine, and for a moment, I saw something raw and unguarded in his expression. But then he blinked, and it was gone. “Just thinking,” he murmured, his voice soft but distant.
“About the case?” I pressed, though I had a feeling that wasn’t the whole truth.
“Among other things,” he said vaguely, his fingers tightening slightly around the edge of the file.
I raised an eyebrow, setting my notes aside. “You know, for someone who spends most of his time analyzing other people, you’re not very good at hiding your own emotions.”
His jaw tensed slightly, and he looked away. “I’m fine,” he said, a little too quickly.
“Spencer.” I stood and crossed the room, stopping just in front of him. “What’s going on?”
He hesitated, his gaze darting to mine before dropping to the floor. For a moment, I thought he wasn’t going to answer. But then he let out a long breath, setting the file down on the desk.
“It’s nothing,” he said, though his tone betrayed him. “I just… didn’t like the way that officer was talking to you earlier.”
I blinked, caught off guard by his honesty. “The Officer?”
He nodded, his expression tight. “He was too familiar. Too… interested.”
I tilted my head, a teasing smile tugging at my lips. “So you are really jealous, Dr. Reid?”
His eyes shot up to meet mine, wide and defensive. “What? No. I mean…” He trailed off, running a hand through his hair. “Maybe a little. But it’s not—”
“Why would you be jealous?” I interrupted, stepping closer. My voice softened, my teasing giving way to genuine curiosity. “It’s not like there’s anything between us, right?”
His breath hitched slightly, and for a moment, he just stared at me, as if trying to decide whether to step forward or step back. Finally, he spoke, his voice low and steady.
“Because I don’t want anyone else to have you,” he said simply.
The words hit me like a bolt of lightning, sending a shiver down my spine. “Spencer…”
“I know I don’t have the right to feel this way,” he continued, his gaze never leaving mine. “But the thought of someone else—of him—thinking he has a chance with you…” He shook his head, his voice trembling slightly. “It drives me crazy.”
My heart was pounding so hard I was sure he could hear it. “You’re an idiot,” I said, though my voice was soft, almost tender.
His brow furrowed. “What?”
I stepped closer, so close that I could feel the heat radiating off him. “You’re an idiot if you think I’d want anyone else,” I said, my voice firm but laced with emotion. “I’ve been waiting for you to notice me for months, Spencer. And now, you’re going to sit here and tell me you’re jealous of some random guy?”
His breath caught, his eyes searching mine. “You’ve been waiting for me?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Yes,” I said, my tone leaving no room for doubt.
For a moment, neither of us moved. The tension in the air was almost unbearable, the unspoken emotions between us threatening to spill over. And then, finally, he closed the distance between us.
His hands cupped my face as his lips crashed into mine, the kiss both tender and desperate. I gasped, my hands finding their way to his chest, fisting the fabric of his shirt as I pulled him closer.
He groaned softly against my lips, his hands sliding down to my waist as he deepened the kiss. There was nothing hesitant or uncertain about the way he kissed me—it was raw and consuming, like he’d been holding back for far too long.
When we finally broke apart, we were both breathing heavily, our foreheads resting against each other.
“I’ve wanted to do that for so long,” he murmured, his voice rough with emotion.
“Then why didn’t you?” I asked, my voice trembling slightly.
“I was scared,” he admitted, his eyes meeting mine. “Scared that I’d ruin everything. Scared that you didn’t feel the same way.”
I smiled, my fingers brushing against his jaw. “Well, you don’t have to be scared anymore,” I said softly.
He smiled back, that shy, boyish smile that made my heart ache. “I guess not,” he said, his voice filled with quiet wonder.
I brushed my thumb against his jaw, marveling at the way his face softened under my touch.
The silence between us wasn’t heavy anymore; it was charged, humming with unspoken words and simmering tension. His hands lingered on my waist, his fingers twitching slightly, like he was afraid to let go.
“Come with me,” I said softly, the words slipping out before I could second-guess them.
His brows furrowed slightly, the question clear in his eyes. “Where?”
I swallowed, feeling my pulse quicken. “To my room. I… I don’t want this moment to end here.”
For a second, I thought he might hesitate. But then his grip on my waist tightened slightly, his gaze searching mine. “Okay,” he murmured, his voice low and filled with something I couldn’t quite name but felt all the way to my core.
We left the precinct quietly, the night air cool against my flushed skin as we walked to the hotel. The anticipation was palpable, each step drawing us closer to something we couldn’t take back but didn’t want to.
By the time we reached my door, my hands were trembling slightly as I slid the keycard into the lock. Spencer was so close behind me that I could feel the warmth radiating off him, the subtle scent of his cologne making my head spin.
The door clicked open, and I stepped inside, turning to face him as he followed me in. The dim light from the bedside lamp cast a soft glow across the room, but all I could focus on was him—the way his tie was slightly askew, the way his hair was just a little messier than usual.
He stood there for a moment, his eyes taking me in as if he were committing every detail to memory. “Are you sure about this?” he asked, his voice soft but steady.
I stepped closer, reaching up to loosen his tie. “I’ve never been more sure of anything,” I said, my voice firm despite the nervous flutter in my chest.
His breath hitched slightly as I slid the tie from his collar, letting it fall to the floor. “You’re incredible,” he murmured, his hands finding my waist again.
I laughed softly, shaking my head. “You don’t have to say that.”
“I’m not just saying it,” he insisted, his gaze intense. “I’ve been thinking it for months. You’re brilliant and strong and so beautiful it hurts sometimes.”
The raw honesty in his voice took my breath away. I reached up, threading my fingers through his hair as I pulled him down into another kiss. This one was slower, more deliberate, as if we had all the time in the world to explore the unspoken emotions between us.
His hands roamed up my back, pulling me flush against him as he deepened the kiss. My heart was pounding, each touch sending a jolt of electricity through me.
When we finally broke apart, I was breathless, my forehead resting against his as I tried to steady myself. “Spencer…” I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.
“I’ve got you,” he said softly, his hands sliding down to my hips. “You’re safe with me.”
I smiled, my heart swelling at his words. “I know.”
His breath mingled with mine as we stood in the dim glow of the hotel room, the air thick with everything we hadn’t said. Spencer’s hands hovered at my waist, his fingers brushing against the fabric of my shirt like he was trying to memorize the texture.
“Tell me to stop,” he murmured, his voice low and strained, “and I will.”
I tilted my head up, brushing my lips against his. “I won’t.”
That was all it took. His lips were on mine again, hungry and desperate, like he’d been holding back for far too long. His hands slid up my back, pulling me closer until there wasn’t an inch of space left between us. I gasped against his mouth, my hands finding their way to his hair, tugging gently as I deepened the kiss.
Spencer groaned softly, the sound reverberating through me, and I felt his hands move lower, tracing the curve of my waist with a reverence that made my knees weak. “You’re so beautiful,” he murmured between kisses, his voice thick with awe.
I smiled against his lips, my fingers trailing down the buttons of his shirt. “You’ve mentioned that,” I teased, though my voice trembled slightly.
He chuckled, the sound low and breathless, before catching my lips again. “I don’t think I’ll ever stop saying it,” he admitted, his hands slipping under the hem of my shirt to rest against my bare skin.
The heat of his touch sent a shiver down my spine, and I couldn’t help the soft moan that escaped me. “Spencer…”
He pulled back just enough to look at me, his eyes dark and filled with emotion. “I mean it,” he said, his voice firm. “You’re everything, you know that?”
I swallowed hard, my heart swelling at his words. “Show me,” I whispered, my voice barely audible.
That was all the encouragement he needed. His lips were back on mine, more urgent this time, as he guided me toward the bed. The backs of my knees hit the edge, and I fell back, pulling him down with me.
His weight settled over me, grounding me, and I felt his hands move to my hips, his thumbs brushing against the sliver of skin exposed by my shirt. Every touch, every kiss was slow and deliberate, like he wanted to savor every moment.
“Is this okay?” he asked softly, his voice tinged with both desire and hesitation.
I nodded, my fingers tracing the line of his jaw. “More than okay,” I murmured, pulling him down into another kiss.
The rest of the world faded away as we lost ourselves in each other, the unspoken tension between us finally giving way to something deeper, something undeniable. Every kiss, every touch was a silent promise—a vow that this was just the beginning of something neither of us could walk away from.
When we finally lay tangled together in the soft glow of the room, his fingers brushing gently against my arm, I felt a sense of peace I hadn’t known I’d been missing.
“I should’ve told you sooner,” he murmured, his voice soft but certain.
“Told me what?” I asked, tilting my head up to look at him.
“How much you mean to me,” he said, his eyes meeting mine. “How much I care about you.”
I smiled, my chest tightening at the sincerity in his voice. “I think I got the message,” I teased, pressing a soft kiss to his jaw.
He laughed quietly, his arms tightening around me. “I just don’t want you to ever doubt it,” he said, his voice serious.
“I won’t,” I promised, resting my head against his chest.
As the night stretched on, we talked in hushed tones, sharing secrets and fears we’d kept locked away. And when we finally fell asleep, tangled together in the soft glow of the room, it wasn’t just with the warmth of his arms around me but with the knowledge that this was only the beginning

Big Deep Water News 🪼🪼🪼
As some of you might know, I write not just two sentence prompts, but full length manuscripts as well. Following beta sourced from the followers of this very blog, I’ve been querying the most recent, titled BORDERLINE, intermittently for about a year.
And, as of this week, I’ve officially signed with a literary agent and am now represented by Stephen Barbara at Inkwell Management.
Prompts will continue as I work on some edits (and my regular job) and dream the manuscript gets picked up and published. If you’re interested, here’s a link to the tag on my personal, and the description below the cut!
I’ll definitely be sharing any news that comes up on this topic. It’s pretty wild but here we are. Stay weird, keep writing, and love always,
- Lilia 💫
Lin O’Leary keeps her eyes closed. That’s how you survive in the town of Florida: small, slightly run down, and sitting right on a rip in reality. Known to locals as ‘the borderline’, all anyone knows for sure is that it ate town darling Momo Kasahara six years ago, and is best left alone. Lin, a high school dropout now working at the world’s weirdest corner store, tries not to dwell on the girl she might have loved if she’d had the chance. No real friends or future, she accepts midnight shifts, saves her pennies, and ignores the faceless entity seeking instant oatmeal.
When a grown up Momo appears one night like a ghost in the snack aisle, everything changes. Lin is sure that finding her will cure the strange gloom that’s been hanging over her and her town for so long. Remaining twin Bo Kasahara just wants his family whole again, and touring paranormal vlogger Julien True sees his chance to shoot the pilot episode of his dreams. Together the three of them must learn how to cross the borderline, unraveling the terrible secrets of Florida one by one until their rescue mission is successful. Because Momo is not a ghost at all.
Momo Kasahara is impossible to find and furious about it. Her hometown is an otherworldly shadow, her mind is definitely going, and her only neighbors treat her with eldritch indifference…most of the time. Stuck somewhere just outside of existence, she knows she must save herself soon, before she forgets what it means to be human.
#used my real name because it felt right :)#L speaks#borderline#you all should know you got the official update before instagram#to my beta readers! if there is big news you will hear about it in a direct email

let’s understand that this is Mara immediately post breakup so this means i get to have it as wild as i want it to be...but anyway, all i’ve been thinking about is rebounding with Danny, duh. Beyond suggestive, it's directly implied, 2k words and a big thank you to @frnchgirls, rose is a most gracious help. Enjoy 🥰
“What about like this?”
If anyone asked Danny the series of events that led him here, there would be no sane answer. Friday night he meets you at the Vandals’ bar, Saturday night he learns that you live in Chicago but were dating another Vandal in a different chapter and just suffered a messy break up, and by Sunday afternoon he’s got you posing on his bed with the brand new knowledge that before you got into that relationship you were a lingerie model until that guy made you quit.
“Danny?” You ask him again, leaning on your elbows and one knee slightly bent to the side over the other.
He shakes himself out of his daydreaming to realize that reality is ten times better and hopes you don’t notice his dazed off gaze from your side of the camera. “Yeah?”
“Is this a good pose?”
Kathy told you that you should get back into modeling, then offered Danny to help you practice, maybe get new photos to show some agents. Neither of you were busy this weekend, so now here you are in a brand new soft blue babydoll negligee that she made you buy the minute she heard about the split, on Danny’s bed.
God, how he washed those sheets and cleaned all over his apartment as soon as you asked if you could do it at his place. It hasn’t been so neat since he toured the place. But now there you are wanting him to tell you if you look good in your lingerie on his bed. But photography is his job, he’s a professional, he can do this.
He could do this, if his tongue wasn’t suddenly tied until he swallowed thickly. “Yeah, maybe you just lean back a little more?”
“Like this?”
“Perfect.” He captures the picture and tries some more from a few different angles. “What about laying down?”
“Mhm,” you move a bit further down the bed and let your hair fall around you as best it could on its own. “Here?”
“Yeah, can I move your hair?”
“Yeah,” he rearranges your strands so they frame your face perfectly and look as effortless as possible.
“Gorgeous.” The shudder clicks right as he said it, so fast that he hits it a second time just to catch your smile when he says it.
“Really?” He catches the moment your face changes from eyes closed and sultry, to open and joyous.
“Beautiful.”
“Me? Or just your pictures?
“You, and the pictures of you.”
“Thank you,” you roll over again and he gets one from another angle.
It was never anything crazy, the sets you modeled. Just some odd jobs for more local boutiques, never anything obscene or ridiculously lavish. Danny refuses to believe that though. You make plastic rhinestones shine like diamonds. Machine spun cotton lace looks like hand threaded silk from Paris the second it touches your skin.
“Do you think we got enough of this one?” you ask.
“I think so. I can get these developed and have them ready in a few days,” he starts packing his camera away. “What size did you say you wanted?”
“Oh I don’t know, but— Well actually I brought one more thing to try on. Unless you want to be done?”
He’s not sure how much more of this he can really take. How much longer can he be in the same room as you before he busts just from looking at you.
“Yeah, sure- I’ll be in the kitchen.”
He tries not to stare as you slide of the bed and start looking through the bag you brought on his way out the door.
3 minutes later your head is poked out of the door and into the kitchen, “Danny, you can come in now.”
Oh what a sight you are. The black nightgown reaches down all the way to your ankles, the silky fabric falls over your hips so perfectly, and the only thing between the air and your chest is a thin layer of the finest lace he’s ever seen. “I haven’t worn this in years.”
“That’s a shame.” He can’t believe he’s said that, especially in the tone he did, like he couldn’t believe you wouldn’t even wear it just by yourself. You must know how you look in it, how it looks tailored to your body in every square inch.
“I know. But he didn’t like it. It’s vintage Chantelle, all silk. Didn’t know how to appreciate it properly.” You sit back on the bed again and just then he notices the slit up one side that just about nears the top of your thigh.
You’re about to take a new pose when he asks you a most peculiar question.
“I’m sorry?” You ask.
“Do you mind if I move you?” He says with more confidence this time and what a gift that he did.
“Sure.”
He sets the camera down on his dresser and comes towards you. With his hands on your shoulders— your nearly bare shoulders, his thumbs fitting perfectly just into the dips of your clavicles —he leads you to lay down against the pillows and rearranges your hair. He takes one of your hands and places it beside your head, the other he moves across your torso with your hand cusping your hip bone. He steps back a bit to consider your legs, with respect to the slit. After slowly, so slowly coasting down the length of your leg, he softly pulls one ankle down straight, and pushes the other slitted one up so that it is slightly bent at the knee and tilts it towards the other.
He takes a second to look at you, really look at you, and he can’t believe anyone would ever try to keep you from this.
Maybe he’s just getting to know your form, for the sake of the composition, you think. But only for a moment before you see him suck his bottom lip between his teeth, just for a second but you notice.
Finally, finally, he takes the first picture of you like this. With the click of the shutter you’ve made your mind up, you decide to press your luck. “What if I like…” you bring the hand that was on your hip up to your mouth and bite the top knuckle of your index finger.
“Yes.”
“What’s the look you’re thinking though?”
“They’re your pictures. I’m thinking whatever you want me to think.”
“But you’re the photographer, the artist.”
“You’re the art.”
“Would you kiss me?”
He nearly drops the camera. “What?”
“They like when pictures tell stories, the story would be that I’m messy and ravished and the clothes are serving their intended purpose. If you’re alright with that?”
He so absolutely, most certainly, positively is more than just alright with that. “Yeah, ok.”
You push yourself back up on the bed while he positions himself at the edge. “So how do you wa—“ he’s cut off by your pull to his collar and the press of your lips. Surpassing his initial surprise he brings a hand up around you to hold your waist, and the other up to your jaw. Messy, you want it messy. And salacious, lascivious even. Beyond suggestive, obvious is what you need. He can tell from the way you continue to pull him into you even as his chest is flush against yours.
You pull away panting for no more than a second to order “Get the camera off the bed.” How sweet of you to be concerned, he nearly leaps over you to put it on the nightstand and he’d like to say ‘if it were any less expensive’ he would have just thrown it, but he knows that the price of it wasn’t what stopped him, it was the fear of damaging even a single one of those pictures of you.
As he’s leaning over you, you slide down a little further on the bed so he can reach you easier. Or maybe to muss your hair up a little more if it’s against the pillows, or any other excuse you could make to make it seem like this is all for the picture and not your own desires.
From there it is licks, bites, tugs, sucks of lips. And you’re trying, you’re both trying to keep your hands out of it, but how could you when his hair is so soft and the back of his neck is the perfect shape for you to hold. And how could he when your skin is so perfect and your bare leg is right there.
“I want a hickey.”
“Huh?”
“Kiss my neck.” He kisses you twice more on his way to your throat and you can’t help the sound you make when he reaches the perfect spot. Already he has you gasping for air. “Oh god.” His hand slithers up the slit, sliding even higher in search of your hip bone or waist to hold.
“Wait,” He lifts himself to be eye level with you, “wait—“
“Hm?”
“Sorry, just…You’re—This is real now, right?”
“Yes, yes, very real.” You rush to pull him back down to your lips and nearly crash noses with the way he rushes down to meet you.
“Mmph,” he groans at the scratch of your nails across his scalp and just the sound makes your back arch. Moving down again, he passes soft kisses down the valley of your chest. You’re positive he can feel the beat of your heart through every inch of your skin. How you’ve missed this, being wanted, being adored. And how he’s missed crossing beyond the other side of the lens, the feel of sculpting another body just by the skill of his touch.
As he’s pushing the side of your skirt up and away a sudden fear strikes you, “Wait!”
“What is it?” He immediately sits back and takes his hands away, looking into your eyes for any cause for concern.
“I’m so sorry, but I really don’t want to rip it.”
“Oh,” you see him immediately relax, “So…”
You make no answer, though you do sit up to your knees and move the skirt out from underneath you. With a gesture to the strap that has fallen off your shoulder, he finally gets the message. However, in the spirit of fairness, his own shirt is the first thing to go and before you have time to remember your original intent you both rise on your knees just to kiss again. You feel before you look while your hands roam his torso.
And slowly, so slowly, through wandering presses, pulls, and squeezes, he reaches the sides of your thighs and takes your nightgown by the seams to lift it over your head. He takes it by the straps to hang by the corner of the headboard rather than tossing it to the floor.
You guide him forwards as you move to your back again, his knee moves between your legs while his fingertips smooth along your jaw. His eyes dance around your face, and as embarrassed as he may be to admit it, he takes a fleeting glance down the space between your bodies. An idea flashes before him, a bold one, but at this point in the afternoon he’s not sure there’s much left that could happen between you two that’d be too bold. He reaches for the camera slowly enough that you knew exactly what he wants. You resist the instinct to shy away when you still see his soft gaze over the camera. The shudder clicks and he drops it back on the nightstand, “That one’s not making it into the book,” Danny smirks at his own teasing before leaning back into you to finish what he started with a smile still on his lips.

✮. pseudo-suits
⋆summary… while on a hunt with the winchesters, you encounter an odd team of FBI agents (spn x criminal minds crossover!)
⋆word count… 950
⋆remi's notes… this has been sitting in my drafts for a while and i haven’t had the motivation to finish it but yeah anyways
You knew as soon as you laid eyes on them that they were feds. Not that they were really dressed like feds, or even vaguely resembled the typical agents you encountered. But they were too odd a crew to be anything else. Mostly it was the tall, lanky kid that was flipping through the stacks of journals at record speed, his hair tucked back behind his ears, that was strange. He wasn’t exactly a kid, but he did seem younger than the other two, closest in age to the dark-haired woman peering at the bloodstains in the white carpet. The other agent was an older, grumpy-looking man with a beard who was mostly just observing the police and his fellows. You simply watched the agents collect clues, discussing the physical and psychological details of some non-existent serial killer as Sam dialed Dean to confirm your suspicions of a werewolf. The sheriff joined the trio, nodding along to everything they said.
“…signs of a struggle… he had to have been taller than the victim…”
They were signs of a struggle alright, and a surely overpowered one. The victim had no chance against such a beast. You couldn’t help a feeling of superiority blooming in your chest; to you and Sam, it was a simple case, a werewolf that had been hunting for years in the area, smart enough to spread them out so that it remained unsuspicious. That was, until the FBI started to connect them, chalking it up to some sick serial killer who collected hearts as trophies. And apparently, they decided to send not one, not two, but three agents to come check it out. You turned to Sam as soon as you finished analyzing them, you both knew your FBI cover was harder to maintain when actual agents were at the scene. You were about to high-tail it out of there, dragging Sam behind you like a mother ushering her disobedient child out of a grocery store, when the sheriff approached questioningly. Sam prepared to flash him his fake, shiny badge and his most charming smile despite your harshly whispered protests.
“Sam. We can’t-“
You were cut off by the gruff-voiced sheriff.
“More agents? I thought a whole unit was enough, but I guess not. Follow me.”
The sheriff leads you through the crime scene, pointing and explaining various, obvious signs of a werewolf attack. You glare at Sam behind the sheriff’s back, thanking him as he finally leaves you to get your own opinions on the scene. You were prepared to drag Sam out of there when a smooth voice stopped you. Again.
“You guys from the borough?”
Sam narrows his eyes by a fraction as the dark-haired woman scans you both. Her gaze felt exposing, subtly judging. You smile, and awkwardly glance at Sam as he clears his throat.
“Uh, yeah. Agent Paige, this is Agent Hall. Must’ve been a mixup with the case file.”
“Ah. Emily Prentiss. Nice to meet you. We’re from the behavioral analysis unit,” she gestures to the other two, smiling, “we’re preparing a profile now. Since you guys are already here, it might help to have more people to bounce off of. Unless you have to get back.”
Prentiss shrugs and turns away to start giving her own guided tour of the crime scene, abandoning Sam. You tune out Emily’s analysis in favor of watching the coroners bag the body and lift it onto a gurney; carefully rolling it around the sharp corners of the desk and out the door of the apartment. Kate… something-or-other was the victim’s name, a local college student. You turn towards approaching footsteps, the steady soft thump of expensive Italian leather. Coming face to face with the older agent, he gives you the same scanning expression that Prentiss had upon introduction.
“Who’re you?”
You blink at his bluntness, trying to remember the name Sam had used for you.
“Agent… Hall. Nice to meet you. Uh, mixup. With the case file. And that’s Agent Paige,” you gesture toward Sam, who waves back stiffly with his unoccupied hand.
“Ah. Agent Rossi, BAU. You too,” he says, seeming to contemplate sticking his hand out to shake before drawing it back as he’s called over by the sheriff. You look back toward Sam, who’s still waiting for Dean to pick up. You follow his gaze as it trails idly over the room, from one yellow evidence marker to the next in procession. Finally Sam snaps out of his momentary daze as Dean picks up; lowering his voice and turning away from the concentration of cops.
You realize how strange you must look, standing separated from both your so-called partner and the rest of the group. You wander over to the cluster, volunteering yourself to the conversation. It sounded like the three BAU agents were discussing the beginnings of a profile, the same details that Prentiss has told you earlier. After the short introduction to the suspect, the group breaks apart. You move to return to Sam, but Rossi stops you.
“If you two aren’t busy, we wouldn’t mind help in tracking this guy down.”
“I’m not sure that we can help, honestly…” you say, trying to look sympathetic. You and the Winchesters already had enough on your plates dealing with this werewolf; having to keep up the FBI act while talking about a mystery killer would be far too much. Plus, these guys were profilers. They could probably tell that you had a hot dog for lunch from the tiny speck of mustard on your otherwise clean shirt, or something like that. Either way, it was too risky. You’d have to carry out the werewolf takedown under the BAU’s radar.
(to be continued…?)
