Jet: awful. mid 40's (he is a human to clarify.) not human mentally though (he has tortured & killed several students for their wrong doings before and WILL go after more.) he's convinced the other faculty that killing "bad" students is the right thing to do as well (by force obviously.)

Cleaner: no idea what age to give this guy. as a very vague range 20-40 (human & critter years.) tries to be nice but lost his shit years ago. also kinda paranoid sometimes

Archie: blind. doesn’t really choke people intentionally he just does it sometimes (also like. 80 years old)

Eventina: 20-30. new record holder for most normal bitch in the mix. yeah we dk much about her in canon yet so I’m just gonna say white woman and move on

1. Cassandra (she had her brains robbed from her for the sake of drama)

2. Rapunzel (they turned an abuse survivor into an abuse apologist that bullies other people herself)

3. Frederic (loving father from the movie turned into an abusive dictator and is lobomized instead of being redeemed)

4. Eugene (the second protagonist of the movie is reduced to comedic relief, turned into a doormat, and shoved aside as the creator's OC steals all of his scenes from the og movie)

In short, every character gets screwed over by the writing in some way... Every character. That's how bad the show is.

my opinions on the biggest dragon age controversies, namely solas and anders:

I agree with Anders and felt that, though extreme, what he did was inevitable. you push people down hard enough, you don’t get to complain when they take your hands. What did you EXPECT him to do; open a dialogue with an organization that considers mystically lobomizing people like him to be an acceptable thing?

and while i don’t agree with Solas’ ‘end the world’ plan, i understand why and sympathize. look at the state of the world; elves live in constant, unending misery and the state of the world continuing as it is DEMANDS that they stay that way.

can you really expect the elves to decide that they deserve to suffer so everyone else can have things go on as normal?

sure, ending life for all other things is bad, obviously. but Solas is at the point where he sincerely doesn’t see an alternative for his people, and any elf who is siding against him can be seen as implicitly supporting the status quo that keeps their people in chains and trapped in alienages, and abused for sport by humans, and they’re gonna have to think really REALLY hard about why they’re going for that.

...and to be honest, if it was just the humans who would be destroyed, it would be much more of a no-brainer for the elves. do to the humans in an instant what the humans have been doing for eons, avenging centuries of systematic injustice and abuse? WHY THE HELL NOT. its just the dwarves, qunari and other beings haven’t done anything to them to deserve the same thing.
