Your flight back to high camp was amazing. Walking through the forest was something enchanting, out of a fairy tale, but the view from above was something so unrealistic. Colors of green, pink, and blue covered the ground beneath you, and the way the animals climbed the trees or flew just under you. You still couldn't believe where you were. You let go of the reins Neteyam told you to hold and you slightly get up from your seat, holding your body up as you tried to get a better view of everything around you. Neteyam frantically holds onto your arm, "sit down! You're going to fall!"

"As if you would let me fall, who will take care of my younger brother then?" You playfully hit him in the chest with your elbow. Lo'ak then came gliding next to the two of you, "bro! Did you already think of the excuse you're giving mom and dad by being late and bringing (Y/N) with us?" Neteyam groans in response, "I will think of something as an excuse. We are going to hide her in high camp until tomorrow morning by then." You huffed at his words, "hide me in high camp? What are you going to put me in? In a fucking woven bag?!" Lo'ak answered your question as a matter of fact, "I mean, you would easily fit in the bag?" You were ready to jump from Neteyam's Ikran right onto Loak's Ikran, ready to pounce on him. As they approached high camp, the horns were heard through the night skies to notify the clan of a return, their return. Kiri facepalmed and looked at Neteyam, "well, there goes your plan. Ready to face the wrath?" His spine shuddered at the question, imagining the wrath of his mother if they took their sister to the clan, but they didn't have another choice now, did they? They couldn't leave you alone out in the open and you were supposed to get here tomorrow anyway, so might as well make you settle down, right? The three Ikrans land right at the opening of the mountains and your four Na'vi siblings climb off it with ease, meanwhile you struggle to get off the animal. You never rode a horse before, imagine a banshee ten times the size. Alright, maybe that was an exaggeration, but the banshees were huge compared to your human self. You huffed in embarrassment as you had a hard time getting off. You were one of the finest warriors and embarrassing yourself in front of a whole clan wasn't on your bucket list, definitely not. Neteyam held your legs as helped you down and you silently thanked him for doing so. The clan surrounded the five of you, standing in a half circle as they stared at you, either with curiosity or weariness. You felt watched, but not in a good way. You were a sky human after all, demon blood in their eyes. Neteyam stepped in front of you, half-shielding you from the prying eyes of his clan, "mawey Na'vi, mawey!" His chest puffed out as he spoke, shoulders broad. You watched him in awe. He was still a child, yet a fine warrior and respected by all. He would be such a good Olo'eyktan. The Na'vi made way as the Tsahik and her daughter passed through, moving to the front with ease as the clan parted like the red sea. You moved away from behind Neteyam, now standing right next to him as you brought your hand to your forehead, "Oel Ngati Kameie." You greeted Mo'at and Neytiri with respect once they were right in front of the crowd.

"I already expected your arrival, (Y/N) Sully." You're shocked that the Tsahik herself announced the news, just like that. The clan started whispering amongst themselves at the mention of the Olo'eyktan's last name and you felt yourself crumbling through the ground. Even Neytiri, your stepmother (?), looked surprised. You didn't know if that surprised expression was meant for the fact her mother announced it or the fact you're her mate's daughter. "I'm- thank you for having me." You bowed your head to show your gratitude, then your gaze traveled to Neytiri. She was already looking at you with those yellow eyes that had so much emotion hidden in them. You felt like she had a lot to say and you felt the same. "My people, mawey. Welcome (Y/N) Sully, daughter of the Olo'eyktan like she's one of our people. She's here to protect us from the dangerous sky demons." Mo'at had her back turned to you as she spoke to her people, emphasizing the fact that you're Jake Sully's child. If she did this to keep you safe, you are in debt to her. Yet, wouldn't something like this make it more complicated? Since you emotionally disowned him as your father? You did, right? You're getting pulled out of your thoughts by a hand harshly wrapping around your wrist. Your head turned to the person in front of you, it was Neytiri. She didn't say anything as she pulled you away from the crowd. Your breath hitched in your mask as you grew nervous, but you didn't complain. She didn't rip your head off, so she wanted to talk to you, right? Tuk looked after you as her mother pulled you away. She looked over at her big brother as she tugged his loincloth, "what is happening?" Tuk was still young, she didn't understand anything that was happening. "It's okay, Tuk! Let's get some food" Lo'ak patted her head, his hands running through her locks. Kiri nodded in agreement, taking Tuk's hand and pulling her to the fire to get their dinner. Neteyam looked after you as his mom and his sister entered their pod, hoping things wouldn't turn more complicated for you.

"Ma'am, what did you want to talk about?" You asked politely once you entered the pod, yet still tried to push her to get to the point. You still remembered how she acted when you taunted your father for questioning his parenting. Neytiri closed the flap of the entrance as she turned to you, cautiously walking over to you. Once she was close enough, she got on her knees for the height difference to not be too intimidating as she spoke, "You're my mate's daughter." You didn't know if it was a question or an extra form of confirmation, but you nodded your head yes. "And you're human." You nodded your head again. "I don't like you, you reek of demon blood." You rolled your eyes. You had to see that one coming."But tell me, child." Your head tilted to the side as you watched her in confusion. Tell her? Tell her what exactly? Neytiri could sense your confusion, so she continued explaining, "what happened, child. Tell your part." You knew it was a demand, yet you couldn't sense a lot of grudges. Her tone was stern and demanding, but not hateful. It was the voice of a wise woman, a wise mother. You decided to make yourself comfortable: taking a seat, sitting your butt on the soft woven carpets as you leaned against the wooden wall. "He was an amazing dad. He didn't see himself as it, but he tried. He tried for me and that's what made him amazing." You fiddled with your mask as you didn't know where to keep your hands, obviously nervous about telling Neytiri about all this. She nodded in understanding, taking a seat as well as she kept quiet to let you continue at your own pace. "Then he left so suddenly and he never returned. I had to hear from the people around me where he went. I waited for years and eventually gave up." Your hands were now lying in your lap as you moved your legs in a cross-legged position, much more comfortable than your last one, "until this day, I hold a grudge against him. Your left hand moved towards your mask to try and push it closer towards your face in an attempt to hide. Thank Eywa the mask wasn't transparent. Neytiri leaned towards you, even though she was very weary of you, she awkwardly extended her arm towards you to wipe your tears. Only for a few seconds as she pulled her hand away quickly, but your eyes still widened at the gesture, not knowing how to feel about all this, "you're a strong child with a strong heart, for a sky demon." She then got up and out of the pod. Now that you were finally alone, you once again got lost in your thoughts as you thought about your father.

Once Jake left to Eywa-knows-where, she turned to the backdoor of the pod, "I know you're there. All of you." Neteyam was the first to walk out with his ears flat against his head, followed by Lo'ak, Kiri and Tuk. She looked at her children with a sigh as they all held a guilty yet innocent facade up. "If she's dad's daughter, our sister.. would you hate her?" Lo'ak was the first to speak up. Neteyam wanted to honestly hit him on the back of his head for asking questions like that, but he continued, "she's putting her life in danger for us, therefore she's not so bad right? Dad would have wanted you to try if she's his." Those words hit Neytiri like a truck. Even if she hated sky demons, her mate used to be one and he changed a lot in just a few weeks. Why not her? From the corner of his eye, Lo'ak noticed how his mother left the pod, meaning you were alone now. At the same time, a horn went off, indicating an arrival. All their heads turned to the opening of the mountain, noticing a familiar ikran about to land. Their father. The four siblings exchanged a look and Neteyam spoke up, "Kiri get some fruits for her and get her away from there. Tuk, Lo'ak, and I will take care of dad. Go!" Kiri followed his orders as she ran to get some leftovers for you to eat, meanwhile, Neteyam immediately went to his father. Lo'ak crouched down to his youngest sibling, "Okay, so don't say anything about sis (Y/N) alright? Dad can't know yet, alright?" Tuk didn't really understand what he meant, but she just nodded as a response, "yes!"

"Sister (Y/N)?" You removed your face from your knees as you were sitting with your knees to your chest, "Oh Kiri, what's wrong?" It looked like she was in a rush and you raised your eyebrows at her, "Kiri, what's up? You look tense?" You got up from the ground. "Just follow me!" She already walked out before you could answer her, leaving you all confused and lost. But you obeyed her and followed suit after her.

"My children please just let me be for tonight, I'm tired." Jake wanted to be alone right now. His heart ached in his chest and his eyes were bloodshot red as his tears were drying up. He wanted to find Mo'at and talk to her. "We want to show you something, you must come!" Neteyam never asked something like this of his dad, not since he was ten years old. So this made him feel suspicious. "Yes! Tuk made something so beautiful and she wants to show it, right Tuk!" Lo'ak made up the quickest thing he could think of, eyes gazing down at Tuk who didn't know what to say. She glanced at Neteyam who nodded, so she looked into his eyes with determination, "Yes! You must follow us!"

You sat in Mo'at's tent as Kiri cut up some fruit for you. The moment the two of you entered the tent, she knew that you needed a moment for yourself and left the tent in your hands. You sat on one of the mats as Kiri sat next to you, cutting the fruits up for you to eat. You inhaled into your oxygen mask, letting the oxygen flow through your lungs before you removed the mask, took a piece of freshly cut fruit and popped it in your mouth, reattaching the mask to your mouth to gasp. Kiri watched you in awe as you chewed your food, "that's honestly so cool." She quickly finished up and put her hunter's knife back on her hip. "Eat well and rest up, alright? You got a long day ahead of you tomorrow." "Goodnight and thank you" the two of you exchanged a smile as she left the tent. You continued eating your pieces of fruit in peace, listening to the sound of the clan talking as their laughs filled the air. You popped a fruit in your mouth before reattaching your mask, smiling as you knew you made a good decision. They deserved to be protected.

"What is up with the three of you?" Jake grew frustrated at his children. They were standing in the pod for at least twenty minutes as the three rambled about the most bullshit subjects. "Do you know that I made this flower crown?" "Yes, you told me last week, Tuk." He tried once again to exit the pod, but Neteyam jumped in front of it as he scratched the back of his head, looking at Lo'ak for any other excuse. He was the best at pulling bullshit out of his ass after all. But also Lo'ak was quiet as his ears were pressed firmly against his head. "Well then, if you have nothing to say anymore. I have somewhere to be." His two sons stood there in defeat as they let their dad through, but then Tuk grabbed onto her father's hand, "no you can't!! (Y/N) will be upset if we let you go to her!!" Lo'ak immediately put his hand over Tuk's mouth as Neteyam coughed through that sentence, but unfortunately for them Jake already heard it. To check if he indeed heard that correctly, he crouched down to meet Tuk's gaze, "Lo'ak te Suli Tsyeyk'itan, remove that hand from your sister. Tuk, what did you say?" Her eyes were now also pressed against her head, knowing she said the wrong thing while trying to help her brothers, "uhm.. I said.." she felt overwhelmed as her dad continued to pressure her into telling, making her lips quiver. That was the point when Lo'ak had enough, "you are a terrible father you know that?!" The young Na'vi exploded as he yelled into his father's face. "You abandoned (Y/N) in the most terrible way possible! And now you suddenly crave forgiveness?! You need to earn that! You can't just go around yelling your 'sorries' while sobbing and not do anything?!" His fists were balled as his ears perked up, his tail standing tall, "she has a right to be upset and instead of sulking around you need to talk to her without the need to use your excuses!" And off he went. If he was a cartoon, the steam would have been leaving his ears. He needed to cool off. Neteyam watched his dad's expression falter, knowing Lo'ak was right with every word he said. He silently told Tuk to come with him, as he raised Tuk in his arms, holding her against his hip. "Did I do something wrong?" "No sweetheart, this needed to be done." And the two left the pod, leaving Jake all on his own as he stood still like a statue, painful breaths leaving his lips. He thought it was impossible, but more tears rolled down. Then he remembered Tuk's words. You're here, his daughter is here.

And he knew exactly where to check.

Jake moved from healer's tent to healer's tent. He knew that if you were hiding somewhere, it was somewhere in this area, the healing tents. He swiftly moved from tent to tent in search of your small frame. He eventually got to the biggest tent right in the middle, Mo'ats tent. You moved a bit in your sleep, making Jake tense in his movements, but then you stopped as you rolled a bit closer towards him, towards the warmth you felt. A genuine smile finally plastered his face, he felt at peace.

For now, he decided to enjoy this moment,

not knowing if it would be the last or not.

POV: Y/N is surprised that it is an indispensable piece for the human race. Her family will do everything possible to keep her hidden and safe…

Note: We are getting closer to the end ahhh. I hope you like this part a lot, I made some changes with the characters. I don't want anyone to be the "villain" at the end. I want eywa to be in control of everything. *wink* Plus there's a surprise at the end. And remember that if you want me to do more stuff about other characters, go ahead, the request is open. From now on I warn you that I am not very expert in this Navi culture, but I did my best. And I'll be using events that happened in the movie, but they won't be exactly the same. And sorry for the spelling. English is not my mother tongue.

Spider opens his eyes…he was on an abandoned rock, he had several bruises on his body. When he fell from the ilu he had hit his head. Slowly he gets up and rubs his eyes. Trying to remember… until everything that happened comes to his mind. "Y/N, Y/N, Y/N!!!" He starts screaming…he stands up and tries to see something in the distance of the ocean. But nothing…he needs to go tell the others. But how, he had no way to get there. He wasn't a navi and he wasn't like you. Out of nowhere, he sees how your ilu, comes closer and looks at him. "Hì'i … I need you to take me home. Y/N is in danger" says spider, speaking calmly so the creature doesn't panic. Your ilu settles sideways and looks at spider, she is inviting him to come up. Spider couldn't believe it, Hì'i understood. This has to be eywa, she was helping him. He quickly climbed in and began the ride back to the village.

You hadn't been in the boat that long, but the adrenaline was already down…and the movements he was making were making you dizzy. Quaritch was next to you, and noticed how you were closing your eyes. "Hey, hey honey…don't close your eyes. I have to take you back to the base" Quaritch tried to get you back in the seat. But it was too late, your eyes had closed. "Shit…" complained Quaritch, you had passed out. "hey lyle, help me out here… we need to get her comfortable." Lyle came over and helped get you settled. He watched as Quaritch, carefully adjusted your head. "Boss… careful, you look very…" Quaritch gave him a fulminating look. Lyle took the hint and continued doing his job. Quaritch sat down next to you, and straightened up. He had to concentrate…but something in him told him this was wrong. He had to get it out of his head…he had a mission, and he had to accomplish it. That's what Miles Quaritch would do. That's what he would do, right?

Meanwhile, neytiri and Jake had returned from the ride they were taking to tuk. They happily walked into the marui, they were making some jokes. When they entered, all their children were there, but neytiri noticed that you and spider were present. "where is y/n?" she asks as she starts looking for breakfast things, " she went out for a walk with spider, you know they were upset yesterday. I think they're making up." Says loak, who was quietly lying in a hammock.

Neteyam approached his parents, he had to tell them what you and he decided the night before. He was excited, but he didn't know how his parents would react. It's not like they didn't know what was going on between you and Neteyam, but telling them in person scared him. "mom, dad… can I talk to you? Well… to the whole family." Neteyam said, as he sat down on the floor, kiri and tuk followed him. And loak shifted his gaze to his brother, but without leaving the hammock. Jake and neytiri accompanied them, they gave each other a few looks before sitting down on the ground. "Well… I wanted y/n to be here… but I know she'll be here soon. But I can't stand the feeling…" Neteyam takes a deep breath. Everyone is looking at him very intently. "Y/N and I….are a mate. We have bonded before eywa… and I hope you all will accept our relationship" neteyam said, quickly and confidently. His first instinct was to look at his mother's face. Neytiri was silent, she had no expression on her face, she didn't know what to say. "Well…I knew that already, with how cuddly you two have been lately mmm it was obvious" loak said, as he settled into the hammock and continued sleeping. Kiri got up and hugged her big brother. "I'm so happy!!! it's about time!!!" tuk is also hugging his brother. " yes, yes yes yes" tuk hums as neteyam hugs his sisters back." Son…" said Jake as he stands up to approach neteyam. Jake knelt down in front of him, put his hands on his shoulders and smiled. "Congratulations… but we already knew that" neteyam's face went blank, how come they already knew that. Neytiri laughed a little and talked." You think we haven't noticed your attitudes… or how you and y/n share matching items of clothing. Or how y/n have your scent" neytiri teases. "We can smell it a mile away, you need to calm down" loak complains from a distance. Neteyam smiles, and looks at his mother. "I am happy with you…I want you to take care of each other and know that your relationship is not common, but not impossible. I love you both and I will always be here to take care of you." Neytiri hugs neteyam, the embrace is warm and welcoming. "when y/n and spider arrive… let's celebrate!!!" kiri says as she thinks about what gift she was going to give you. It was a tradition, to give something to the new partner of some family member, well…you weren't new to the family. But it was the perfect excuse to make you a new top.

Neteyam started playing with tuk and kiri looking for things to prepare your gift. "This is very strange, she doesn't usually take this long" says Jake. "I'm sure they're on their way" said neteyam, until he sees spider walk in to marui very agitated, with teary eyes." THEY'VE GOT HER, THEY'VE TAKEN HER!!!" shouts spider." WHO?" Jake approaches the boy, grabbing him by the shoulders. Everyone present stood up from their places to approach spider. " THEY…THE SOLDIERS…HAVE HER!!!!" spider was still crying. " Spider what are you saying?" neteyam approaches the boy. His heart wants to burst out of his chest…his breathing becomes difficult. " THEY ATTACKED US…AND TOOK HER AWAY IN A BOAT. I SWEAR I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING!!!" Screams spider…the poor boy doesn't know what to do, he has all of y/n's relatives surrounding him, and of course he was scared, they were twice the size of him.

Neytiri feels like she was going to faint, as her eyes start to fill with tears. She falls to the ground and starts screaming." NO, NO, NO… MY LITTLE ONE, NO" Jake comes over to reassure her, he too was in a state of shook. "Jake, they took her…they took my little girl" neytiri screams. All these years taking care of you like her greatest treasure, defending you from others…from their insults, from their indifferent treatment. And now she had taken you away. She couldn't stand it. Jake didn't know what to do… kiri and tuk were still questioning spider, who was crying and trying to explain what had happened. While loak was on the other side of his mother trying to get her to calm down. Jake could see loak's tears running down his cheeks as he tried to be strong for his mother. And neteyam…wait, where was neteyam?

Neteyam was already on his way to his ilu, his eyes were pure hatred and frustration. In his hands he carried his bow. They had captured his mate, he wasn't going to let them get away with it. He was about to climb onto his ilu, until he felt someone tugging on his arm. When he turned around it was his father." What the hell are you doing" yells jake, as he tries to pull his son to him. "I'm going to rescue her!!!! That's what I'm going to do" Jake holds Neteyam by the shoulders. "Listen to me…I'm sure those guys, they're already at the base. They're already in the woods, you know what will happen to you if you go there now?" neteyam turns away from his father. "I don't care, we have to go look for her !!!!" shouts neteyam, jake had never seen him like this. Neteyam always tries to control his anger, but now it was impossible. "son look at me" jake is holding neteyam's face. He can see tears welling up in his eyes, jake knows how he feels, he feels incompetent, guilty, upset. "we're going to get her i promise" jake speaks, while he himself can't keep his feelings to himself. They had kidnapped one of his daughters, but they had to act smart. "but dad… they're going to hurt her" neteyam complains. "Let's call norm and the other guys. We need a plan." Jake wipes the tears from neteyam's face, and they welcome him into their arms. "We're going to get her… I promise. You and the Family." If it were up to Jake, he'd be flying full speed ahead in his ikran, get to the base…rip the heads off of anything that got in his way and take you back home. But I knew that was suicide… he had to have a plan.

AREA 12, northeast of pandora:

You opened your eyes slowly, wow… your head was spinning. You feel like your head is going to explode, you slowly sit up, and feel the softness under your hands. Your eyes are still adjusting to the new clarity, but as you look down you see that you are on some kind of bed. You look up startled, and see a white room, there are only several pieces of furniture. The bed, a closet, a desk and some small lamps. You knew what these things were, since you had slept over in norm and max's labs when you were little. But this room was strange…there was a window…in which you could see the flora of pandora…it was beautiful. As you analyze the room you see how on the right side there is a door. You run towards it, but fall to the floor. You are very weak. And that's where all your memories come back.

You remember how you fell into the sea, how you saw spider floating unconscious, how they grabbed you by your braid and how they took you away in that disgusting boat. And those men, you remember them too. You stand up a little and crawl to the edge of the bed. You hug your knees and can't help but cry. You were scared…where was everybody. where was neytiri? jake? They always rescued you. Where was neteyam? They didn't know where you were, and if spider was dead…would he be okay? You had so many questions in your head. You wanted to go home.

The door to the room opened, you looked up to see him. It was that man, you knew who he was. Your father had told you about him, and how they had their conflicts. And how he tried to kill him. Besides, you still remembered the first time he tried to kidnap you in the forest. The man came a little closer to you. "Hello…pretty" I said Quaritch." Don't call me pretty" you affirm, and move a little further away from him. "oh wow…you can speak English." Quaritch doesn't give up and continues to slowly move closer. "of course you idiot…or wait, I forgot. you guys think you're the only beings with intellect?" you say as you shift your gaze.

"Wow, I didn't know you had that temper…I like it" Quaritch sits down in a chair that is about 5 feet or so away from your bed. "hey, I'm not here to hurt you…just" you interrupt him." no? then what did you kidnap me for?" you challenge him, as you stand up a little, forgetting how weak you were, and fall back down to the floor. "Hey calm down… I see that you are weak. And for your information it wasn't me who did that." I said Quaritch. "Then who?" you ask. "The RDA, they sent me to find you. You're important y/n" say Quaritch, as he gets up from his seat and walks over to a small table right next to the closet, and starts to prepare a glass of water. "Important? To what or who?" you want to know what the hell you were doing here and what they wanted from you.

Quaritch approaches and offers you the glass of water, you refuse to take it." Hey…. I'm not trying to poison you. I swear" he raises his right hand, and drinks from the other glass of water. You analyze the scene and see that nothing has happened to him. You decide to take the glass, you were dying of thirst. You drink the water as if there is no tomorrow. "Wow…someone was thirsty" Quaritch sneers and kneels down right in front of you. "you are the salvation of the human race, with your DNA it will be possible to make mutations in humans, thus allowing them to breathe and live here in pandora. A whole new race would be created." Said the man. "But why don't you create others like me and leave me alone?" you place the glass next to you. "honey… you are one of a kind. There is no other like you… not here in Pandora, not in any other area of space." Quaritch looks you in the eye, the voice he is using makes your hair stand on end. You couldn't deny that this man was intimidating. "You're doing this to attract my father, aren't you?" you ask him dryly, while you don't take your eyes off him. "Mmm no, that blue monkey doesn't interest me anymore. I have other plans." said Quaritch, as he stands up. To be honest he had lost interest in looking for Jake a long time ago. He didn't even know what he was doing in this place anymore.

"You have to be grateful, little one," said Quaritch, as he opened the door to the room. "Why?" you ask. "If it wasn't for me, you'd be in a cold, filthy metal cage. So …you're welcome" he turns his gaze, gives you a smile and starts to walk out. "oh, by the way, you need to put on the clothes over there" he points to a bundle of clothes lying next to the bed. "That's your new uniform, that door on the left is the bathroom, you can do your business there. You have water on that table and later someone will bring you food" He walks out of the room leaving you alone. You looked at where the clothes were. You didn't know what this kind of cloth was. You had never used anything like this before, you were used to wearing your navi female clothes. This was weird…you examine it for a while. But you start to feel cold…maybe he was right. Besides, your father had told you that it was always better to go with the flow, if you were vulnerable, so you would wear these clothes. You didn't want them to get upset with you and hurt you for not obeying.

You get up from the floor and start to take off your clothes. You put on the new clothes, wow they were so different, they felt different. You didn't like it, but it gave you warmth. You were wearing a matching style of sweater and pants. Gray color. And you noticed how on the chest on the right side there was a label that said "experiment 56". Out of nowhere you got nauseous, and dizzy. You ran to the bathroom, and threw up in some kind of bucket. You opened a lever so that water came out and cleaned everything. This must be the sink, you tell yourself. You wipe your face and go back to bed. You lay on your side and lay there waiting for something to happen. You couldn't help but cry, you missed your family.

Quaritch was watching everything from the cameras in the security area. It was an exclusive room, where there were about 6 cameras recording everything in your room. "You just saw that girl naked," says Lyle as he walks in and sits in one of the chairs. "No, I just logged in… I'm not depraved like you" miles keeps looking at the screens, while watching you wipe your face. I could tell you were in pain. "I don't know, what's wrong with you… I feel like something in you has changed. What's going on here?" Lyle taps his boss on the head, the two of them had that confidence. Not everyone could touch Colonel Quaritch, but Lyle gave himself that freedom. "you wouldn't understand lyle" said miles, as he turns his face to look at his friend. "You feel like you're not you, don't you?" says lyle as he settles further into the seat. "You feel like you're not that person, you know… we have their memories, but you feel like they're intruders." Quaritch looks at his friend. "that's true" Miles states, lyle reaches over and places a hand on his friend's shoulder." But we have a mission, and the orders are clear. You've already done a lot for that girl…she's comfortable and safe in a room. The rest…will be the responsibility of the scientists" said lyle getting up and walking out of the room. Miles knew those lab rats weren't exactly nice. They didn't see you as an ordinary human, but as a thing to be tested. He had already been through it, when he first got his avatar body, and it wasn't a very pleasant experience, so he decided that he would take care of you. Or so his "other self" inside him decided.

Meanwhile in the Metkayina village….

Neytiri was sitting right on the edge of the entrance to the marui, contemplating the view. She hoped you would come back. You always did… her memories were lost to that moment, where you were lost in the forest for 2 days. You were only 6 years old, she remembers the feeling she felt at that moment. She and Jake went looking everywhere for you and nothing. Norm and the others helped in the rescue. Mo'at was trying to comfort Neytiri, telling her that you were a brave, strong and smart girl. That she would come back. "daughter mine…. y/n is like the river, it runs away…it flows, but it always returns to its home the ocean…it will come back to you" and so it did…neytiri was looking for some things in the forest, preparing to search for you again. Until she felt someone hug her leg, she looked down and saw her cute little girl. Her eyes were teary, but she was smiling. "mom…I got lost" neytiri held her in her arms and promised never to let go. But this was not the case.

Neteyam accompanied her, she hugged him. Neytiri could feel neteyam's tears fall into her arms. Knowing that her children were suffering was killing her. She turned back, and saw a desperate Jake, trying to communicate with Norm. She knew he was at the point of collapse. Kiri and tuk were sitting looking at their father and spider, and loak… he was out for a walk. Neytiri knew it was to cry alone. She looked at neteyam one more time, stroked his head. "calm love…the river always returns to its home, to the ocean" she could hear neteyam sobbing louder. She didn't want to think how you were, she had the feeling that you were suffering.

" norm, can you hear me!!!!" jake tries to move to find the signal. Spider holds the wires, making a kind of antenna. "yes jake, I hear you clear. What's going on?" norm says on the other end of the comlink. "they have y/n, they kidnapped her. You have to come here, you have to help me find her" norm couldn't believe what he was hearing. "I'M GOING THERE !!!! GIVE ME 1 HOUR" norm runs, to tell the others and start packing up and getting the ship ready. Jake dropped the device that looked like a portable phone, collapsed on the floor, and couldn't help but cry. What had he done wrong, kiri came over and hugged him, tuk went with her. Spider watched the scene, jake invited him into the hug. Spider joined him. "It's not your fault kid… it's not your fault" says jake. As spider looks at him. And then hugs him tighter.

Loak was walking on the beach, collecting shells for your collection. He decided that when you came back you would have new shells to organize. Tsireya came over, by now everyone in the village had heard what was going on. "loak… are you ok?" tsireya put her hand on the boy's man, he was on the ground looking for corals. She could hear him crying, she knelt down and hugged him. "They're going to find her, I promise" loak turns and hugs her. The moment was interrupted when he hears some kind of ship arriving off the coast of the village. Norm had arrived faster than he said. Loak said goodbye to tsireya and ran towards the marui.

Jake ran, towards Norm. These two hugged… it was a long hug, it was like a "I'm here brother, I'm going to help you" Norm looked at Jake and said "come on …. I've got the stuff". Jake led him to the marui, norm went inside and started to get his stuff out. Max accompanied them. Everyone in the family watched as Norm tried to locate a few things." Ok, spider you have to tell me where they were last" spider told norm everything, neteyam listened attentively. "It hurts…because we were making passes" said spider as he looked down. Not until he feels someone grab him by the throat and his body is lifted off the ground. " you fucker…if you weren't so nosy" neteyam had the boy in his hands. "NETEYAM" shouts neytiri, while jake tries to make neteyam let go of the boy. Kiri was trying to remove his brother's hands from spider's neck. Spider was losing his breath. " Wait…" he couldn't speak, jake and norm were able to make neteyam let go of spider, he fell to the floor. "are you crazy…what's wrong with you?" yells kiri to neteyam, neteyam was already walking back to where the boy was, until loak stops him. "ENOUGH, STOP IT!" shouts neytiri with tuk in her arms, the poor girl was scared. "This is no one's fault…let's calm down." Norm states. Kiri tries to help spider, this one had a big mark on her neck. While neteyam sat on the other side of the marui. The atmosphere was calming down, but it still felt tense.

"Jake… this is something almost impossible. We don't know where they went, I bet they went to base 12. The one near our camp, the one in the mountains" norm looks at jake worried. "I think the right thing to do is to go back and investigate from there, it's useless here" Norm waits for an answer from his friend. Jake looks at his family, they have all listened. "let's go, what we're waiting!!!" says neteyam. Jake looks at the others, they all approved the decision. "well so be it…sully we will go home." Jake announced, as everyone got up to prepare everything for the return. Jake decided that they would all go back in norm's ship, it was fast. Neytiri didn't like the idea, but agreed.

Before leaving Ronal approached the family. "I hope you find the girl… you know you will always be welcome here, this is your home" said Ronal as he handed her something she had prepared for you. You had won ronal's affection, she didn't want to show it, but she had cried a little. You were a wonderful girl. Neytiri wiped her face and thanked her for the gesture. "We'll be back very soon, and thanks for everything" Jake affirms. "Anything… count on us" Tonowari gives him a handshake. And lets them go. Jake knows this was going to be hard, and that it was highly unlikely they would find you easily, but he had to try.

It was already dark, you had slept all afternoon… when you awoke you saw how the view to the window had darkened. You cringed a little. You hoped this was all a dream. But no… you were alone in a room that was too cold for your taste. You walked over to the table where there was water and began to pour yourself some, your stomach growling. You hadn't eaten anything all day. wow, there's nothing to eat here. you look around and there's nothing. You sit down on a chair, and look outside. Are they looking for you? Or did they just decide to leave you here? You were asking these questions to yourself, until the door opened. And you saw a Quaritch walk in with a plate in his hands.

"I'm bringing dinner!!!" he said cheerfully and with a smile on his face. "And why do you have to bring it yourself?" you ask, as you settle into the seat. "Well… if you want someone else to bring them I'll tell them, but I promise they won't be this nice." He speaks as he places the plate on the table. You look at the food, it was kind of strange to you. The only thing you could recognize was a fruit you liked. But the rest was unknown to you. "I don't know if you'll like this… but it's some chicken, vegetables, some grains…" says Quaritch, while you let out a giggle. He looks at you curiously. "This looks disgusting." You say matter-of-factly. You were afraid this would backfire on you, but again you analyze the food. "here use this fork" you take the fork and look at the man. "I know what's dumb!!!" you shift your gaze, and play with the food. Miles stares at you as you move some things around and taste others. He gets a laugh, as you taste some and make disgusted faces. Until you taste the chicken. "mmm this doesn't taste so bad" you say as you take another bite. You are pretty sure you are eating this, because you are about to starve to death. "I was informed that your tests start tomorrow" says miles, you look at him confused." What tests?" you take another piece of chicken and eat it. "I imagine it will be some blood and stuff" your memory takes you back to all the times norm took blood from you." Oh noooo, I'm not going to do that" you say as you drop the fork on the plate. "hey relax, you have to do it…if you don't they will make you. I recommend you cooperate." Miles comments as he again falls silent.

You finish eating, and miles gets up and takes the plate. He walks to the door. "Are you coming to get me?" you ask a little shyly… you didn't trust him. But at least he hadn't treated you badly since you got here. "Well… if that's what you want. Yes" miles looks at you with a raised eyebrow. "It's okay" you say as you settle into your bed." It's okay, get some rest little one." Quaritch leaves the room, and you get more comfortable on the mattress. You were so tired, your eyes closed on their own.

The next day, you wake up when you feel a hand moving you, you turn over and open your eyes. "Hey little one … it's time to get up." Miles says, you sit up in bed. You were all asleep. And wow, you weren't ringing, you watch as Quaritch is arranging something on the table. You get out of bed and walk to the bathroom. This bathroom thing wasn't your thing, you never liked it…it was your non-preferred thing in norm's lab, but you knew how it worked. You looked in the mirror, saw how messy your hair was and noticed the little dots you had on your face. This is what neteyam meant when he said you glowed in the dark too, you smiled to yourself. You missed him so much. A voice pulled you out of your thoughts. "y/n we have 10 minutes. Let's go!!!" shouted Miles from outside. You finish using the bathroom and try to fix your hair, as your braids are in disarray. You decide to undo them, leaving your hair loose. And you make a few small braids on the sides of your face. You had to do something for you, otherwise you were going to die of sadness. You were missing Kiri, she always does your hair. You come out of the bathroom and Quaritch looks at you in surprise.

His tail is wagging from side to side. You notice his behavior, and chuckle to yourself. "You look very pretty." He says as he clears his throat and walks you out. "listen little one…" miles speaks as you walk through the halls of the complex, and boy… were they depressing. " you have a tracker on your mullet, if you run away… we'll find you." Miles says, as he looks at you again. "I hadn't noticed… you can breathe this air without any problem. It's funny" and yes, it was. You could breathe human air and pandora's air without any problem. You looked Miles up and down. He noticed your action. "Do you see anything you like?" he asks arrogantly. You groan a little." Don't get excited soldier, I have my partner" Miles laughs a little." So I was right, that guy is your partner…the blue monkey" you punch him in the arm, Quaritch is shocked. "Sorry…blue monkey? Don't you dare talk about him like that" you say annoyed. "I'm sorry, I apologize" he clears his throat. "Well, he's a lucky boy." You look at quaritch curiously. This man is strange. Very very strange.

Meanwhile in the shelter in the mountains, your search attempts seemed hopeless. There was nothing. They didn't have any contacts so they could spy inside the base. If they got too close, they knew he was going to die. Neytiri and neteyam were ready to fight, but Jake begged them not to, it was risky. Jake knew you didn't want any of them to get hurt. But he was getting desperate too. Norm had no idea what to do. They were all waiting for something to happen. "We have to do something!!!" said loak, as he gets up to walk back and forth in the lab. Neteyam was sitting, distracted. One could tell how down he was. "What if some avatar comes in and pretends to be staff?" says kiri, norm shakes his head. "They have security and as soon as they see us they'll know it's us. We are fugitives" norm shakes his head. "Don't worry, we'll keep working on this, we're not going to give up" says Jake, while an annoyed Neytiri leaves the lab room. They all stand there in silence, no one is in the mood to follow anyone.

Neytiri goes to the spirit tree, it has been months since she has been here. She knelt down and connected her braid to one of the branches of the tree. And began to pray to eywa. "please eywa…. Let my daughter be safe. Let her come back to me. Let her find a soul, who will help her come back to me. No matter how long it takes, but let her come back to me. Please." Neytiri says as tears come out of her eyes. She opens her eyes and gets up to leave. She knew you were okay, but she was afraid of what they would do to you. That was her biggest fear.

Two weeks… two weeks had passed. And you were still in that horrible place. They had done many tests. Both physical and blood tests. They discovered that your DNA was different from that of the human and the navi. It was a new strand. But you shared similarities with both races. They investigated how you were able to wear your braid, although when they tried to touch it, you would not allow it. And Quaritch confronted the scientists, saying they shouldn't do anything you didn't want. You couldn't deny it, he had been very nice to you. It was as if he was someone else… you were so sure he wasn't the same man from that forest who was yelling at you not to move. Now he was kind, funny and your companion everywhere you went. You didn't trust him completely, but you had no choice.

After several tests you began to feel bad, you thought that the discomfort was because you missed your family, but no, this discomfort came from somewhere else. Your head started to hurt, you felt dizzy and you barely touched your lunch. You tried to get comfortable in your bed, but it was useless. So you decided to call Quaritch from an "emergency" button he had placed on the table. He didn't take long to arrive, and when he entered the room he saw you lying on the floor. "Hey little one… what's wrong?" he asked worriedly. "I don't know, my head is spinning" you try to explain, but you are too sick for that. Miles takes you in his arms and carries you to the nurse's office.

He's worried about you, and has been since you arrived. Even Lyle has noticed the change in the colonel's behavior, well… if he was still the colonel. His attitude was kinder, he was calmer and he was even refusing to go on some routine missions. Lyle felt like he was talking to someone else. He wasn't complaining, he liked this thousand more, he was nice, calm and he cared about others. It was weird… but Lyle knew it had something to do with you. Or something that had made him change. By chance, Lyle was walking down the hallway near the nurse's office and saw a worried Miles walking from side to side. He had his ears back and his tail was between his legs." Hey colonel, what's going on?" lyle asks him." Oh thank god you're here, y/n got really bad. I don't know what's wrong," Queritch says a little agitated. "hey, take it easy… maybe something she ate made her sick. You know she's used to navi food" lyle tries to calm miles down. "Yes, that could be it," says Miles, as he sits down on a seat outside the nurse's office. Lyle decides to join him. He didn't know what was happening to him. His colonel's heart had gone soft.

"Colonel?" speaks a scientist, coming out of the room where you were. "Yes, what happened?" Miles stood up quickly. "I don't know how to say this… I'm in shock. We did some tests. And everything was fine…until we decided to do some routine tests, you know the normal ones and…" the scientist paused. Lyle and Quaritch gave each other a worried look. It couldn't be what they thought. "The girl is pregnant." Quaritch couldn't believe what he was hearing. You were pregnant? How was that possible? "How is that possible?" Lyle asked the scientist. "Well… if she has a mate, and let's take into account that she shares similarities with the na'vis, it's possible, but you have to do other tests," says the scientist. "Do what you have to do, but carefully" says Miles, while running his hand through his hair. Lyle and Miles stand in silence, in that dark corridor. What were they going to do now?

Fun fact: Hì’i, is the name of your ilu, tuk has named her this way because she has very pretty lines on the sides of her face. Hì'i means heaven.

Many years have passed on pandora, for all the of great mother children. The great mother had watched out for all her children, as they made their life here on their homes. She had been watching two Navi very closely, the child of olo’eythans that were always seen as the disappointments of their families and clan. One boys from the forest and the girl from the ocean. The two children who grew up over time and become their own navi, now they were walking down their own paths that didn't match up with their families together.

Y/n " ......." you are in your home it was bright and sunny day in the village, when she felt something touch your leg making you look down and see your daughter.

y/n " hello my little Ruu" you soon picked up your daughter and held her in your arms, whole looking at her. Ruu smiled towards you and you smiled back at her.

y/n " will you love to see what your dad and brothers are doing" Ruu soon smiled and nodded her head, while she was pointing towards the entrance of the home and outside.

y/n " fine lets go see them my little one" you soon left the home with Ruu in your arms, as the two of you wonder outside and see everything that was around. Ruu had been born last years and was now getting use to all her surroundings.

????? " mom Ruu" you soon heard your were being called and you soon saw your three sons.

y/n " hello my sons" one who reached your eldest Nawne , soon he was followed by your twin sons Zioze and Zamer.

Nawne" hey mom"

y/n " hello my sons "I and Ruu were going to come see you she wanted to get out of the home and see everything.

Nawne " hello ruu" Ruu smiled at her brother and started reaching out towards her eldest brother you soon passed her over to nawne.

Zioze " dad took us out exploring today mom it was fun"

Zamer "we were climbing trees and having fun but dad said we couldn't climd any higher"

????? " that because I don't need either one of you getting hurt and then you mom will be mad at me" you soon heard loak voice and saw him.

lo'ak " hello my wife"

y/n " hello my husband" loak soon kissed your forehead getting some giggles form the kids.

lo'ak " hello baby girl" Lo'ak had taken ruu from her brother and was not holding her, your daughter started laughing and smiling.

lo'a " have you been having for you mommy today"

y/n " she been good crawling around and exploring our home. but it seems like she rather explore out here"

lo'ak " aww do you baby girl you are just like your big brothers but look like your mommy"

y/n " well the boys look like you but all our kids have inherited your five fingers and toes"

lo'ak " well that what makes them special"

y/n " yes it does are kids and family are special"

Nawne " umm dad remember our conversation last night"

lo'ak " oh yes well come on buddy I will keep the end of my promise"

lo'ak " I promised to help nawne with his warrior training"

y/n " no my son you can start your training now I'm happy for you" newne smiled at you soon lo'ak had given you back Ruu. as him and nawne soon walked away. The father and son were talking about something that made them laugh.

Y/n " come on you two for the rest of the day you are with me and Ruu" the twins smiled as your soon start walking away with them, doing some of your task with them and teach stuff as well.

Zamer " mama can I help you make dinner today"

y/n " sure my love"

Zioze " can I watch Ruu for you like nawen those we are older now"

y/n " sure you can I think she will love to be with all her brothers" Zioze soon smiled and soon went to go play with Ruu, who was playing with some wooden toys.

y/n " okay my boy let get started on dinner your father and brother, will be home when night time has come"

zomer " yes mama I listening and you have my full attention" you pat Zomer head and soon started getting everything ready for dinner.

y/n " watched the fire zomer we have to keep it as good temperature so the food can cook"

zomer " yes mother" zomer had added a other piece of wood to the fire as it seems to be dying down.

zioze " Ruu this is toruk makto dad says he a mighty Ikran and only a fee have tamed him" you had looked over and saw zioze and Ruu having a good bonding time, as they seem to be talking about the tales from lo'ak old home.

Zomer " dad said only a few olo'eythan from the forest were able to tame him and bond, they have been many like him"

y/n " yes that is true my daughter there have been ikran like toruk makto"

twins " wow"

nawne " hey everyone" newer soon came into the home with a bright smile one his face.

zioze " how was the training are you a warrior like dad yet"

nawne " no he says I have more years of training before I become a warrior like him, but he says I'm good"

zomer " when can we become warriors like you big brother, we want to be just like you"

nawne " aww baby brother you will become your own navi in time, like mama says we will all walk down our own paths in life"

lo'ak " I smell something wonderful cooking"

y/n " welcome home my love dinner is almost ready"

zioze " day can you tell us another story of the time when you were growing up in the forest"

lo'ak " oh well let me see oh I found a new story that I haven't told any of you" the kids had gather around to listen to lo'ak talk dinner was soon ready and served, and everyone started eating together and talking.

Later that night

lo'ak " you are really making sure the kids live happy lives are you my love"

y/n " I want them to walk down their own paths in life lo'ak and I don't want them to go through what he had been put through as children... all my kids now and in the future will live the lives that want"

lo'ak " oh so you want more kids I can hear"

y/n " maybe one or two more little ones"

lo'ak " well let wait until Ruu older before we add another kid maybe, but for now I love the number we have"

y/n " yes my husband .... you are good dad, mate, and warrior" you soon kissed lo'ak making him smile towards you.

lo'ak " you are a good mother, wife, and healer my beloved" lo'ak soon kissed you making you smile towards him, it has been a long time since you two of you been home. The two of you had started new lives here and didn't feel like going back home, living life here was amazing and neither one of you wanted to give that up. You soon looked upon your children that looked happy, and that made you happy as well. You soon had fallen asleep in hope son what the new day will have for you and your family.

Note: Ok, I thought a lot about posting this sequel, but since I love my own story, I wanted to continue it. I recommend everyone to read the first part of "experiment 56" so you can understand everything. Still, I hope you like this pilot a lot. If this post is well-received, I will continue the story.

"Are you sure you want to go alone?" asks neteyam holding noah't to his chest. "Yes, don't worry I'll be fine" you say as you continue getting ready to go out to pick some fruits. It wasn't just any fruit, it was a very special fruit that bore its fruits a bit far from the village. This made neteyam a little nervous, but it made you excited. It had been a long time since you had gone adventuring alone and the simple fact of searching for a fruit excited you.

Since you had become a mother, all your time and space was for noah't. It wasn't like neteyam wasn't there. He was always helping you, taking care of you and the baby. But noah't had a very strong attachment to you. Neytiri told you that this was normal, she commented how loak was very attached to her when he was a baby, this was transitory. You knew this was the best time to go out, as noah't was taking his midday nap. "He's already eaten, he's clean…so I'll leave you two alone" you say going over to give neteyam a kiss. You knew he was worried, he still hadn't gotten over the previous events of your loss. And knowing that you were going to be alone in the jungle terrified him.

"What if someone goes with you? Why don't you tell loak" neteyam stops and thinks a little clearly. " No, loak no…but if you tell kiri or spider to accompany you?" neteyam has his hand holding you, gently stroking your fingers, you give him a grumpy look. You hated it when he got like this, nothing was going to happen to you. Everything had gotten better, the altercations with the RDA had lessened, they were in their zone and you were in yours. Also, you weren't going to get too far away. "Neteyam… kiri is busy with mo'at. Spider is eywa know where. I'll be fine" you give her a quick kiss, and run out of your hut.

Neteyam stayed quiet watching you run out of the hut. Yes he was worried, but he knew you were going to be fine. You were a strong woman and you knew how to defend yourself, maybe you were right. He was being a little overprotective. So he decided to lie down for a while with his son, it was one of the few days he didn't have to do anything. He walked over to the bed, this was a large hammock, which you insisted on having and which neteyam was forced to put up. He climbed up carefully, and placed his little baby next to him and close to his chest. He snuggled further into the bed and slowly zeroed his eyes.

Meanwhile, not far away you are walking peacefully through the jungle of Pandora. Enjoying the feel of the grass on your feet, the clean air and the coolness of the forest. Wow, you missed this… to be preoccupied for at least several hours. You knew you had to go back, noah't was going to get up and get hungry. That baby ate too much. And you couldn't stand to be away from him for more than 3 hours. You knew neytiri would calm him down, but you knew you had a curfew anyway. But enjoying your free time, you started running, faster and faster.

You picked up some fruits, and put them in a bag that you had hung on your waist. You also took the opportunity to take some feathers that some animals had left behind, these were perfect for the new outfit you were making for noah't. You were in your little bubble, until your ears heard a strange noise, it was familiar but strange. You crawl along the floor, trying to hide from whatever was making that noise. You took your time to analyze the noise, it was loud breathing and cursing that you could hear softly. Ok, it was something you could recognize, whatever it was was speaking one of your languages.

You got closer, hiding in the branches trying to see what creature was making that noise. As you got closer you could see the figure of a navi, it had military clothes, and it was not similar to the scientist's navis and it was kneeling on the ground… it seemed to be searching for something. You hide more in the bushes. What were the recoms doing near the village. This was worrying you… They weren't supposed to be around, that was the deal. You didn't think long and took your bow and pointed it at the target. You weren't going to risk it, this avatar could be dangerous for you and your family. The only ones who knew where you were was… wait.

You were standing there, with the bow ready to shoot the arrow, when you remembered who you had told about your location. Of course, he had to be the only one. Quaritch?…it couldn't be. The last time you communicated with him was seven months ago. That's when he saw your baby for the first time, after that encounter…you didn't hear from him. Why was he here? Were there more of them in the area? Was he going to betray you?

You lower the bow and start to look at the situation, the man was so into what he was doing that he didn't realize that you were just 6 feet away. "He's a dummy" you think to yourself, as you watch him get up. And you see how one of his hands is stuck to his chest and you can see blood. You could analyze the expression of pain on his face, and you can see how other parts of his body were hurt. They were like burns. You stop in your tracks… you had an inner fight, your instinct was telling you to stay away. But on the other hand you wanted to help him. What's the worst that could happen if you got caught again? He wasn't going to hurt himself just for the fun of it?

So you move a little closer and speak softly, but with worry. "Quaritch? Is that you?" you speak, this makes the man turn around quickly looking for the location of the voice. And there you could confirm that he did not have any kind of weapon, he is very hurt. His eyes were pained, worried, lost. "Y/N?" Quaritch, he spoke with a broken voice… he was about to cry. You slowly came out of your hiding place, and as soon as your figure was in sight. The man took several steps and was on the floor on his knees in front of you. You didn't know what was happening, you had never seen him like this.

"Finally I find you!!!" he let out a gasp. "What is happening to you? Why are you like this?" you ask, lifting his face in your hands. You were analyzing his wounds, how his clothes were full of blood. "They… they got rid of us" he speaks, as you watch his eyes fill with tears. He was scared, harmless and hurt. You could even guess that he was dehydrated. "But who did this? Why are you here?" you want to stay calm, but it was almost impossible. You watch as he collapses completely on the ground, he is sitting with his head down. He groans in pain. "Everyone…Y/N, everyone is dead" Quaritch looks up. You sit down in front of him, you didn't want to touch him too much.

"Hey, why don't we go to a safe area…get you all patched up and drink some water" you invite him, taking his free hand. Making him get up from the ground. Quaritch just looked you in the eyes, and nodded. You couldn't leave him here. He was your friend, he was hurt and you knew that if you left him here in the condition he was in he would die in less than 4 hours. He was in a very bad condition. Of course, you couldn't take him to the village. Neteyam would be furious and so would your father. And your mother…she was going to kill him. So as you slowly walk through the forest holding his hand making sure he was okay. You decide to take him to the beach, it wasn't too far and there you had a little shelter.

It was a refuge that you used from time to time. You used to go there with neteyam and noah't, it was also your space to go and take care of your ilu and spend time with him. No one used to go to your seaside shelter, so it was perfect for Quaritch to take refuge. While you were thinking of a better plan. They were getting closer and you could hear his breathing and how exhausted he was feeling. "We're close…hang in for a little while." As you reached the beach, you pulled him inside the small hut. You could see your ilu, poking his head out to greet you. You signaled with your hands for him to look for a type of sea clam, which was used to heal wounds. This had been taught to you by Tsireya, to train your ilu to follow command and even to know how to search.

Quaritch sat on a kind of bed. You approached him and lifted his face. "Hey…have some water?" you offer him water from a clay jar. He took it in a hurry, you could tell he had been like this for days. "Now…take off that dirty shirt, while I go prepare everything to heal those wounds" you speak, while you see that the man only obeys you. This was a new behavior for you, the Quaritch you knew was a strong, intimidating man, but now he was so vulnerable. You took some herbs that you had nearby. You had them here, in case an accident happened, you would be ready. All that was left was for your ilu, to shred the clams you needed.

"Hi'i will be back soon" you say. "Who is Hi'i?" asks Quaritch, he had finally spoken. "It's my ilu" you say. "And cupcake?" he asks, looking you in the eye. You move closer and wipe some blood from between his eyebrows with a tissue. "He's in the village, with the other ikran. It's okay…but you" there is silence and you can see his eyes fill with tears. Before he speaks, you hear Hi'i's roar. You run out to the coast, and see that Hi'i had several shells in his mouth. "Ahhh thank you precious… thank you very much" you thank him. Running back to prepare the medicinal paste that mo'at had taught you. Quaritch watches you work quietly. And then you stand up and begin to place the paste on her injured skin. "I don't want to clean it too much, because it has already created its own layer…but this will help with the inflammation and remove bacteria," your hands dab at the skin. And you listen as Quaritch moans, but you notice how he is relaxing.

"It hurts…but it feels good" you say, watching as you carefully place more on his arm. You find some cloths and wrap them up. "Now…tell me what happened? Why are you here…you know one of the warriors could have killed you" you speak, as you continue to work on other wounds. "They have decided against us…we are no longer useful to them. They sent us on a routine 'mission'…it was all right, my squad is fine. I got a message from General Ardmore saying that our service was good, but they needed new equipment. Out of nowhere the helicopter exploded" Quaritch speaks, while you are sitting in front of him you couldn't believe what you were hearing. "When I got up… they were all dead. Everything was destroyed" he lowers his head, you can see the tears fall to the floor. "And Lyle?" you ask. You didn't know the others in the group. But you did know Lyle, he was a great friend of yours. "He didn't survive…" Quaritch can see your hand go to your mouth, looking to calm you down. You get up and give him a hug. "I'm so sorry…" you are crying.

"That's why I came looking for you… you are the only person I have left alive, the one I can trust" Quaritch says, you hug him again. You couldn't hold back your tears. Your mother is right, humans can be so cruel, how they can kill living creatures for no reason. "And what are you going to do next?" you look up, you were already picking up some things. "I don't know… if I go near the base they will kill me" he speaks, you can see how confused he is. "Why don't you spend the night here, here…it's some fruit" you take out the fruit you had picked from your bag. "I'll come tomorrow and we'll talk about everything" you explain. "But no one will come here" Quaritch stands up, he is scared and defensive. You take his hand and calm him down a little, making him sit down again. "No, this place is secret…it's mine" you say, looking for some clothes for Quaritch to change and make him more comfortable. "Won't you stay?" he asks. " I can't…neteyam and noah't are waiting for me" you laugh a little, you see how his ears perk up with surprise. "It's true…you have a family. I bet the baby is precious" Quaritch says while playing with his hands. He did that when he was nervous. "Yes…it's gigantic. Literally gigantic" you say.

Before you leave the hut, you give him one last hug. "See you tomorrow…I'll be back" you say, as you leave the hut. You see that the sky is getting dark, how long you have been there. It was very late… it doesn't take you long to get to the village. You run quickly to the hut you shared with neteyam, when you enter you see jake playing with noah't while neteyam is preparing the dinner. "Honey you're finally here" says Jake, he was lying on the floor letting his grandson play on top of him. "H-hello dad…what are you doing here?" you ask nervously. If anyone found out that you were helping one of the clan's greatest enemies, in your hut on the coast, they would kill you. They were going to kill you.

"I came to visit you…I can't?" asks Jake, he noticed how nervous you were. After all…he was your father, he raised you. He knew your every moves. You walk over to neteyam, who is cutting up various foods. He is sitting down, so you hug him from behind. Trying to change the subject. "Of course you can dad, I was just asking," you say, as you continue to hug Neteyam. Neteyam moves his head, to kiss your hand which is hugging his neck. "Love…you smell blood, did you get hurt?" everyone stops what they are doing, even jake holds noah't so he can look at you. "It's nothing…it's a scratch. Look…I didn't get any fruit" you lift your shoulders, while giving neteyam a kiss on the back. "Well… but you're okay, right?" he looks up to study you. You give him a small smile and lean in to kiss him on the lips. "Love, I'm fine…just a little tired. I've been looking for the fruit all day and nothing" you pull away from neteyam, moving closer to take noah't in your arms.

"My baby…you must be very very hungry" you say, settling Noah't on your chest, so that he can feed. Jake watches you, he knows you are hiding something. "Honey, is everything okay?" Jake asks again. "Yes daddy…" you look away quickly. "Well…I'll leave you two alone. Rest kids" jake says as he gets up, gives you a kiss on the forehead and a squeeze on the shoulder to his oldest son. Jake was so proud of you guys, you had grown up so much, you already had a family.

Neteyam gets up and walks a little bit to be in front of you. Your gaze was lost, you had noah't suckling you, while you were rocking from side to side. Neteyam comes closer to kiss you on your forehead. "Y/N do you have something to tell me?" neteyam asks, he knows you were not well. First you didn't come with fruits, second... you smelled like another man.
