Passing Out As Light Turns To Day (Darling I'm Right Here)
Locorro (maybe Nocorro and Rocorro in the future...)
Here's a sneak peek at a future chapter (later in the story) that will take place in the second act of my story:
Spider cards his hands through Lo'ak's silky hair, his grown out braids previously taken down with the help of Spider. Spider just loves how Lo'ak's hair looks like this, free. While he adored Lo'ak's hair in his traditional braids, he prefers to see it let down. Like this it makes Lo'ak appear lighter, softer in a way.
"I like your hair like this." Spider's voices his inner thoughts softly.
"You do?" Lo'ak questions surprised.
Spider hums lowly, continuing to gently thread his fingers through wavy hair. Lo'ak unconsciously leans into the delicate touch that ignites a fire in his gut.
"You look even more pretty to look at like this." Spider whispers, his warm brown eyes staring into amber eyes.
The tension between them simply increases. A static feeling between them is felt as brown cuts into amber with specks of a light green. Eyes do all the talking for them, no words needed to convey what is wanted at the moment. Spider knows what he wants and Lo'ak sure as hell knows what he sincerely wants.
Lo'ak simply cannot take it anymore and leans in, finally giving in to his deep desires. Both their eyes slipping shut softly before the press of their lips comes. But when their lips touch for the second time, it feels like time stops for both Spider and Lo'ak. It feels like a rush of light air is lifting them high up in the air as if they were floating. The feeling of lips gently pressed against one another just feels... right.
Lo'ak can finally take the time to appreciate Spider's lips in peace. No camers to record, no people to watch. It was just them. To Lo'ak, Spider's lips felt soft, like a warm fire keeping him warm in the coldest temperatures. Scorching embers burning him in the most delectable way. It felt like someone was embracing him and taking him away from harm. It felt euphoric. Lo'ak felt alive. Wanted, for the most part.
To Spider, Lo'ak's plump lips felt warm. His lips were hot like the sun rays beating down on District 12, in the best way possible, of course. Lo'ak's hands on his cheeks are slightly calloused, but it feels nice, grounding. Soothing in a way. They held onto his face as if he were made of porcelain, like he would break any second. It made Spider's body buzz, cheeks unintentionally heating up. I light pink takes its place on the apples of his cheeks. It made him feel wanted for the first time in his life. He felt genuinely wanted for who he was. Someone saw him for once.
The simple press of lips was not nearly enough for what the two boys wanted. They pull apart from the kiss, hot breaths mingling with one another. Foreheads pressed together in union, like they were one. There's a humming in their bodies that doesn't cease. Blood is rushing through their veins at the display of innocent love. Both their eyes were half-lidded, each conveying such intense love from one look.
This time Spider leans in, tilting his head to further deepen the kiss. Lo'ak's hands continue to cup Spider's cheeks, lightly caressing them with his thumbs. Spider on the other hand, hands previously tangled in Lo'ak's hair, loving the silkiness, now travels down to curl around the slightly younger boy's shoulders. Spider takes the initiative to gently lick at Lo'ak's bottom lip, hesitant in asking if they could delve deeper into kissing. Lo'ak's breath hitches, sounding like a faint gasp before parting his mouth open as an invitation. Spider beams internally at the effect he has on Lo'ak, sliding his tongue inside the others warm cavern.
Their tongues brush against each other delicately. Their kiss now becomes languid and hot. It felt so intoxicating that Lo'ak genuinely felt dizzy from the sensations he was feeling all over. He just felt drunk on Spider's taste. He tasted sweet. It was all he could really focus on, that Spider tasted sweet.
The initially sweet and innocent kiss was quickly becoming intense. Spider knew he had to stop before they kept going. Not in the sense that they'd go all the way, of course not! They were still very young for that. But Spider wanted to have an entire lifetime to kiss Lo'ak, anytime he pleases. So, no matter how much his mind disagrees with him, he gently pulls away from Lo'ak. Their lips red and swollen from the hasty kiss. Lo'ak finds himself chasing after those soft lips the second they pull away. It was like he was addicted to the sensation of kissing Spider already. He wanted to continue so badly, but Spider placed a gentle hand on Lo'ak's chest to stop him. But before Lo'ak could complain or whine about it, he feels soft little pecks being pressed onto his lips. It made him smile drunkenly, eyes heavy.
Spider lightly places a few more pecks on Lo'ak's lips to let the boy know that his feelings are not being rejected. The kiss was honestly breathtaking. It left both Spider and Lo'ak's hearts beating incredibly fast. They couldn't even open their eyes for a few minutes, minds still running on the love-filled kiss. Their breaths are ragged and heavy, having not taken a breath from that long kiss.
When they're finally able to open their eyes, all that's present in them is undeniable love. Only undying love is present in their eyes. Admiration, love, and longing show in their gazes. Never once looking away from the other. Spider's hands then moved to Lo'ak's cheeks as well, softly caressing the heated skin there. He finds it adorable and heartwarming when Lo'ak immediately leans into the warm touch, breathing a content sigh. Both boys knew then and there that they would never let each other go. They were stuck with one another till the end.
"I see you." Lo'ak whispers quietly.
"I see you too." Spider replies back earnestly, leaning in once again to place one last peck on the Sully's lips. That action earns him a giddy smile from the other.
Eywa, Spider's grateful that the Great Mother led him to Lo'ak on that fateful day. He's forever thankful to Eywa for giving him the love of his life. He wouldn't trade anything else for Lo'ak. He'd rather die than do so.

Hi! I was just wondering how would Spider be like with Little Mama? Would Neytiri see Spider differently as well as she has a human mate?
Helloooooooooo! So I am going to make this a part 2 of Pinnacle motherhood. I be breaking my own rules on this but it still counts as a mother's day special. So sit back, relax and enjoy!
Pinnacle motherhood
------------------
Pinnacle Protection
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is a well known fact that small mama will care for any child. No matter who or what. Spider Soccorro is no different.
When she first met spider as a baby, she thought he was cute. His little chubby cheeks, wide innocent eyes, bright smile. A little angel.
When she learned who his parents were, especially his father. Things slightly shifted. Once the information reached Jake and neytiri, opinions and sides were formed.
Neytiri began to hate spider from the start once she learned of his blood lineage. Wouldn't listen to reason, wouldn't care to see anything beyond the demon that ruined everything. All she ever saw in spider was his father. Which began to cause some problems.
So small mama did something she thought she would never do behind her mates. Hide a secret. What is that secret? Visiting baby spider as often as she can, almost every day. When she isn't needed, or when neytiri has it covered on the children, small mama would make some excuse to leave and see spider.
The more time she spends with spider, the more in love small mama gets. Spider has seen her enough times that he gets so excited to see her, hear her voice. Would shriek and shout, wiggling around to get her attention.
In spiders mind, small mama is his real mama. Would at times accidently call her “mama”. Small mama wouldn't dare to correct him. Why would she? Spider needs someone to look after him constantly, the other humans are too busy to properly care for a child.
So she unofficially adopts spider. Though she knows that at some point, small mama will have to tell her two mates. That is something she dreads, unsure how they will react to such news. Especially neytiri.
When the secret was revealed, there were many things small mama was prepared for. Neytiri remaining silent for days was something small mama was not prepared for. Not even jake.
After long weeks of silence from neytiri, she demanded some private talk with small mama.
On purpose small mama would bring spider with her.
They would talk, disputes and all the common things that would happen. But by the power of spider’s cuteness and small mama’s  wise words, neytiri had come to accept spider.
With time and patience, small mama made sure to close the gap between the two, in giving spider the love and the family he deserved, and helping neytiri overcome her fears and trauma.
As spider grows, the dynamic changes.
Despite the other sully siblings being close to their small mama, spider holds small mama in a specific spot in his heart.
Yes spider loves his two other parents. Jake is a wonderful dad, the best he could ever have. Neytiri is strong, strict yet shows her way of showing love to him. Small mama is the one who understands him on a human level.
Spider sees himself as the ultimate small mama protector. He proves himself time and time again. Yes it makes his other siblings be a bit jealous but haters are gonna hate.
Small mama love spider as much as she loves the rest of her children. She has no favorites. It is just that each child needs different kinds of affection, love, affirmation, and so on.
Spider is the type who needs constant praise, hugs, and physical love. He is confident in his skills, but it is good to have his family back him up in positive ways.
The times neytiri and jake spend alone time with spider, small mama cant help but feel happy and proud at seeing how far they have come along. Spider is a sully through and through. And to hell with it, small mama will make sure spider knows every damn day.

What actually took six years didn't feel like that to you at all. One moment you closed your eyes as you were put into cryosleep and after what felt like one second passed, you got woken up from your deep slumber. The claustrophobic space you are in makes something inside of you itch. Good thing you were into cryosleep, you couldn't have survived sleeping in this tube every night for six years in a row. Once your tube was pulled out of the wall, you immediately feel yourself floating. So this is what space felt like.
"Drink and eat lots, since you will feel very weak!", a loud voice echoes through the room as one by one everyone left their cryosleep. You float through the room with a smile on your face as you hold onto handles, lockers, anything to keep your balance. An excited scream could be heard from behind you, it was your friend Raja. "You are not dead I see," she jokes as she floats towards you, her arms wide open to invite you in a hug, "this is honestly insane, I can't believe that we are actually doing this!" You wrap your arms around you as you share her excitement, "I know right? We worked so hard for this, I can't believe this is happening." You met Raja on your first day being at the resistance base. She shared her passion for nature with pride and you always admired her for this. A cough is heard behind your back and Raja looks over your shoulder to see who it was, "Seb!" she squeals as she carefully gets out of your hug, floating towards their other friend to engulf him in a hug. You watch as Raja and Seb share their excitement with each other. They really didn't age at all while being in cryosleep, such an interestingly concept it was. You float towards them, holding onto Seb's shoulder to keep your balance and not pass out, because damn they were right. You feel so tired and weak. If you weren't in space right now you probably would have fallen to the floor. Your limbs felt like cooked noodles, you really needed to eat. "The trio is back at it again to cause havoc!!" Seb ruffles your head, your hair tangling in between his fingers as he did so. The three of you were the inseparable trio. While you had a group of friends you hung out with, you three always just stuck together like glue. It may have been the fact you bonded over being reckless warriors, thriving on the thrill and action, or the fact all three of you were top students, but that doesn't matter. Raja and Seb are your partners in crime til death do you all part. The two are engaged in a deep conversation, but you didn't bother to listen or chime in. You wanted to explore, and see what you worked your entire teenagehood for. Grabbing onto the handle against the walls, you made your way towards the huge window, were also most of the crew was floating around. You had to see this for yourself, you had to believe it with your own eyes. What if you were still dreaming?
"Excuse me, Pardon me!", still not used to not having any gravity, you keep bumping into other warriors. A 'watch where you're going!' was screamed your way, but you paid no mind to it as you had more important things to do. Floating past the last person that kept you from seeing outside, your eyes immediately widen at the beauty that lay in front of you. A planet, looking exactly like earth, right in front of you. It was beautiful, the true meaning behind mother nature. You bring your hand towards your cheek to pinch yourself, was this real? Were you truly experiencing this? When you pinched yourself so hard, leaving a red mark on your skin, and you didn't wake up you knew this was real. You were knocked out of your senses pretty quickly, as everyone was told to dress up, eat and get together in the common area. Where that was? No idea, but what you knew is that you were excited as hell. You basically swam through the air towards the lockers, where your supposed gear would be. The sight was probably incredibly silly, you thought, you probably looked like a swimming frog. Yet you didn't care about the stares that were given you. The only thing on your mind was to see Pandora with your own eyes— not out of books, notes you had to read, or drawings. You left without telling Seb or Raja, but you would probably find them, considering you're going to the same destination and those two definitely weren't to miss.
You float past all the lockers with nameplates, looking for your name. You were told that they were in alphabetic order. Last name. You could never escape him, could you? You proceed to float, using the lockers to pull yourself up and speed up towards the lockers that start with 'S'. Upon floating in front of the name that haunted you every day, you sigh and slam the locker open. Clothes sealed in recycled plastic, a pair of shoes, and an oxygen mask. Fortunately, it wasn't those old aquarium-like masks. When you learned about those you thought they were ugly as hell: a head in an aquarium. Those were designed like gas masks. Was that the best way to explain them? They only covered the mouth and nose part to breathe properly, it didn't cover the entire face anymore. You flash a skeptical expression towards the clothes in your arms. They were dark colors, dark colors in a hot amazon-like forest? If it were up to you, you wouldn't have chosen a little more, bare, clothes. For the sweat to at least dry up and not soak in the clothes. "Weird choice of clothes, right?", Raja appeared next to you, out of the blue, making you flinch. You quickly managed to cover it up and compose yourself, "I'm gonna end up looking like a crab while fighting a villain, kind of embarrassing." she laughs at your reply and grabs a hold of your forearm, "come on let's go change. Seb already went to change!" And with that, your friend pulls you with her. Changing your clothes was kind of awkward. The room was a big space where all women changed next to one another. It gave PE class vibes. You felt sticky and disgusting as you changed out of the clothes you wore for six years. Wearing fresh, clean clothes is always better than nothing. The material feels nice against your skin, and very cooling. As you look in the mirror, fixing every detail to look as neat as possible. You roll your sleeves up just a tad bit and tried to loosen the corset-like clothing piece around your upper body. It doesn't look exactly like a corset, but it's one of those clothing pieces that have a corset built into it. The mask is hanging against your hip, ready to be used 24/7 once you stepped foot on Pandora. The pants were a little wide thankfully, enough space to move into. "What is it with the corset though? Who wears a corset while fighting?" "Maybe it's bulletbroof or something?"
After this whole ordeal in the dressing room with some people whining about the clothes being too hot, while others were second guessing if the outfit was nice to fight in, you finally made your way towards this common area. There everyone was awkwardly sitting, what one could call sitting in space. Everyone was given a granola bar to snack on and a sealed bag with a sweet drink in it. You leaned against Seb, as you were too tired to use your strength to hold onto anything. Eating the bar and sipping from the overly-sweetened drink, you listened to the peptalk your superiors were giving you all. It was something about protecting Pandora, RDA and the forest Na'vi, but you really were too tired to listen. It was most likely the talk they did every time before you went into cryosleep. If you missed anything you could just ask Raja or Seb about it.
What almost felt like a decade to you, actually took just a few hours before you finally landed on Pandora. During the landing all, maybe twenty of you in total, were seated as you braced for impact. It wasn't too bad, it was like a plane landing. Before the doors opened, the duffel bags you took with you were placed on your laps. For your instance, the bag with the wrapped katana you got from your lieutenant was handed to you. You put your mask against your face, pressing it down and securing it as you breathe in the oxygen from the earth. Red lights flash through the area you're in with the others as the secured door lowers to the Pandorean ground, revealing the beauty of mother nature. You rise from your seat as your seat belt was already unclasped. Without waiting any longer, you rushed to the outside world in a heartbeat. Watching your surroundings, it seems like you landed on the resistance base. Unlike the RDA base, which you saw during your learning process, this one was more integrated with mother nature rather than destroying it to make space. It was so organic, so natural. A team was already waiting for your arrival, all standing in a row as you lock gazes with a Na'vi. Unlike the things you were taught about Na'vi clothing, this one was wearing human clothes. Could this be what one would call an avatar? The same situation your dad was also in? You start thinking he was your dad, but it didn't look like him at all. You knew avatars were supposed to look like their 'owners'. Even though it was supposed to be your dad's brother's avatar, they were twins. One would ask 'you don't know what your dad's avatar body looks like?', but honestly as you said many times you tried to pull away from the hauntings Jake Sully got you. The insecurities, and issues you got from his betrayal, his departure. It truly hit you like a truck. Questions would pop up like:
Were you enough?
Was there something wrong with you?
Why didn't he come back to you?
You couldn't take talking about your dad's new life. Selfish one may call it, then you were selfish in their eyes. You didn't care. Wanting your dad, is that selfish? Missing your dad, is that selfish? Angry because your dad wanted a new life without you, is that selfish? You yearned for him, yet despised talking about him. That's why you don't know what he looks like, what he is up to. You just know his history: put into the avatar body from his brother to follow military orders. From only caring about getting a paycheck to protecting the natives. He was crowned with the name Toruk Makto as you were taught. Mated to Neytiri te Tskaha Mo'at'Ite, daughter of the Olo'eyktan and Tsahik. When you first heard about this, you felt sick to your stomach. Reality hitting you even harder at age thirteen. It was already bad enough to know your dad left you, but also getting to know that he settled down while you spent your time waiting for him? You remember running out of the classroom when a superior taught you this information. This was also how you got in contact with Raja and Seb. They comforted you while everyone else thought of you as weird, weak. They were the first people, besides the superiors that came in contact with you, that came to know about your dad being Jake Sully, about the struggles you got after he left. Yet, they didn't laugh at what you thought was exaggerating. They listened carefully to your words as the tears rolled down your cheeks.
'We were attached to the hip, what went wrong?'
'Did I make him unhappy?'
'Was I too much for him?'
'Was he looking for something more rather than being a single dad?'
You spilled your insecurities to them and they never uttered a word about it to someone else. You will be forever grateful for them. You were so lost in thoughts, getting slightly emotional at all these thoughts about your dad, until a hand rested on your shoulder, "and last but not least, you must take her with you. She's our best warrior, Norm. She will need to stay on the battlefield, closest to the war." So Norm was his name. A pretty goofy one if you had to be honest. The avatar named Norm stood at least 10 feet tall as he looked down at you, literally. You just reached around his crotch area, which is kinda embarrassing because imagining running into his front. Hopefully, he likes to travel in his human body more. "Then that's settled, Oel Ngati Kameie." His hand rested against his forehead, slowly bringing it down to his chest. You flashed him a kind smile in return, ready for whatever adventure you will come across, "Oel Ngati Kameie."
But only if you knew.
.
.
"They have arrived, they will help us."
"They're sky demons! All the same!"
"I used to be one as well, yet I had a change of heart. Please accept the help they will offer us, for our people, for our family, our fortress." his hands grip hers, intertwining their fingers as he spoke to her in private, away from the children. He opened his mouth again, pressing his forehead against hers, "please, Ma Neytiri."
A/N: first of all, thank you all so much for the positive feedback. I honestly didn't expect it I'm gonna be fr😭 it gave me enough motivation to write part 2, so here it is, earlier than expected. I hope you enjoyed <3
also i hope no one noticed me accidentally posting the draft cause that was silly

Crybaby (Sully fam X daughter!reader)
Summary: Reader has always been a crybaby. Sensitive and had a soft spot for all living life. Jake disliked how sensitive you always were, he sent you out on your own for a month and came back a cold-blooded killer.
Warnings: Death, gore, mentions of death, mentally unstable reader, violence, Trauma
You were kind, sweet. Always looked on the bright side, you were on the same path as Kiri, training to become Tsahik. But it was clear you weren't as good as Kiri, which you were quick to admit.
That lead to Jake placing you with your brothers, training to become warriors. He wanted to tough you up, Jake loves how much you cherished love, he loved seeing the world through your optimistic eyes.
But ever since the sky people came back, he just needed his eldest daughter to be strong. Be there just in case he would leave this world a little too early.
"How many times do I have to tell you? Y/n, I need you to keep your balance! keep tripping like that you'll get killed." Jake's words hurt you, but you remember how upset he was the last time you nearly cried.
You inhaled sharply "Yes father." You stood up from the ground and faced your twin, Neteyam. He gave you a knowing look that wanted to know if they should stop, you shook your head lightly, not wanting to seem more of a wimp to your father then you already are.
You were an average hunter, your skills in fighting weren't that bad either.
But that wasn't enough for Jake. He needed to know that you were as skilled as Neteyam, as skilled as your mother was. So, it was always.
"Be faster"
"Hit stronger"
"Not good enough, try again!"
You would push your limit. Till you couldn't keep your eyes open. Your father would say words of gratitude here and there. Like small nods and a "Good work"
Your brothers sometimes feel like that's not enough for how much he makes you do. But just the smallest amount of approval from Jake made you feel like you were on cloud nine, causing you to do more, work harder.
Then one day, you were having a hard week, you were getting frustrated at the simplest things. Even your fathers nagging was annoying you.
When it came to training, you slipped up and made multiple mistakes that Jake just could not take it.
"Y/n, come now." Jake spoke calmly. You and your twin glanced at each other. You stood up with the help of Neteyam and followed your father.
The two of you walked through the woods.
"Baby, you know why I push you and your siblings so much, right?"
You nod your head, feeling a little nervous even if Jake was using his usual soft tone. "Then you understand--" Jake held you by your shoulders "--That this family, this clan is our fortress. And protecting this family is everything"
His words were deep to you, it was clear this was important to him. "And I need you to be strong. And training here hasn't been helping. So, Im sending you off. Away from here, so you can improve more on your own" Jake saw how your expression dropped "don't worry! It'll only be for a month. Ill check in every few weeks." He tried to reassure you. It didn't really calm your nerves down, but seeing how desperate he was to make sure you and the family was safe?
there was no way you could say no.
So, you left, you were on your own. The first few days were hard. And there were multiple times when you got seriously hurt and cried. God, you cried so much. All that crying made you hate yourself.
Hate every flaw you had. You even hated the soft part of you. Scolding yourself, knowing that kindness and your crying will not protect the clan, your family.
Jake did try to visit you. But you never stayed in one place. The two of you talked a little over the inner coms when you two would be miles apart. But those convocations didn't last.
You were training harder than ever. Perfecting every little thing down to the bone. In all honesty, you did go a little off from the safe zone, where you ran into a few sky people. You made it our alive, as for those sky people?
Well, you only let one live, still having that small kindness and mercy in you. Which was a big mistake.
You received a message from Norm and Max when they wanted to check on you, that a sky person bombed up a small part of the safe zone close to the high camp. No one was killed, but a lot were majorly injured.
Gaining all the details of the incident, you realize that it was the sky person you let live.
Cursing yourself and beating yourself for being so foolish, so naive for thinking nothing of what that sky demon after setting it free. So, you vowed to not give your enemy's any type of mercy, to kill all those evil demons, to protect you clan, your family.
Because this family was your fortress. And you were determined to be theirs.
Your month was over, and you were just so excited to go home. To hug and smother your siblings with kisses. To show your dear parents how strong and skilled you've become. To make your father proud of you. To officially be seen as enough to help protect everyone.
Norm gave you an inner com that was connected to your family, being told that your parents and dear twin brother were on patrol at the moment.
You decided to fly your Ikran to where you were told you parents and twin would be at. But when you were a few clicks away from them, you heard Lo'ak's voice. Saying he has gained sight of intruders. Ones who were carrying guns.
Dreamwalkers
You spoke into your inner coms.
"I'm closest to their location. I'll engage."
"Y/n-- wait, no! Y/n you better not!" Jake shouted.
"Y/n te i'tri Mo'ata Sully. Stay down! that's an--"
You turned your intercoms off. The safety of your baby siblings was the only thing you had in mind. It was almost eclipse, and telling by how the winds picks up and the clouds, it was to rain soon.
Your Ikran felt the panic and determination you were feeling and speed up to get to the location faster.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
You made it before your parents and twin could. You killed off every single dreamwalker. And that demon who took your mother's home away, who took Kiri's mother away.
The demon who caused so much harm to your clan.
"Any last words Demon?" you say, tilting your head as you held the sharp dagger to Quritche's throat. The Demon growled and spat in your face.
You weren't very pleased with that; you turned your head towards your siblings who were huddled against a tree.
"Spider"
The small human boy flinched by the way your voice sounded.
"Close your eyes." You said with a small fond smile. But it felt nothing like that. Kiri quickly brought Spider close to her and covered his eyes.
You looked back at Quaritche. The moment you slit his throat and began to detach his head from his body, was the moment Jake and Neytiri entered the scene.
Neytiri was quick to go by her younger children's side. Your ears perk and notice Jake. Once you laid eyes on him. Your face lit up.
"Father!" Youran to him and hugged him. Jake was in utter shock at the scene in front of him. He slowly hugged you tight. You pulled away, smiling, unphased by the amount of blood that was on you.
"I did it. I saved them. Look!" you pulled Jake to where Quaritche's dead body was and grabbed the head of the demon.
"I have killed him. I did it!"
Neteyam slowly entered and looked over what you had done.
"Mommy!" Tuk whined and was quickly embraced by Neytiri.
You were smiling, happy that you've finally rid your father of the nightmare that had burdened your family.
But when you began to see the look Jake had. You started to notice that was not the look of approval you hoped for.
"Y/n . . .What have you done?"
Your smile dropped, being replaced with confution
"Wha-. . .what? what's wrong? what did I do wrong!?" You didn't understand. Did you not put them down fast enough? Should you have taken out the leader before the others? What was it that was wrong??
"Y/n, baby. This--" He was pointing out to the bloody battle around them "--Is wrong. You tampered with their body's. Some of them are still bleeding out!"
"N-no! it's okay you see! I made it for them to not move at all and suffer their punishment." You tried to defend yourself. Tried to make your dear father know that it was okay. And that you did a good job.
Neytiri hurried the children to exit this part of the forest fast, including Spider. Neytiri didn't like Spider, but the boy didn't deserve to see all of this. None of her children did.
"That is not our way!" Jake yelled. Frustrated, worried and scared for his daughter in front of them.
Your ears pinned back. Feelings of sadness, betrayal and anger infecting your heart.
"Well, your way didn't work for me. You said so yourself! Why can't you just be happy!?" Your nose scrunched up in anger.
"I did this for the clan, for our family-- For you!" You were getting upset. All you wanted was the feeling of being called a Sully, worthy of the tittle as Toruk Makto's daughter.
"You can't do this. Your way will bring unbalance to the clan. And if you can't do that. . . then I'll have to strip your tittle as a warrior of this clan." Jake's words caused everyone to stop.
"Ma jake." Neytiri spoke, her eyes glancing between her mate and child.
You felt your bottom lip quivering. But your eyes refused to release the tears. You slowly backed away from Jake, nodding your head a little. Your eyes found its way to Spider who kept tripping, his legs still shaking from what he witnessed.
"Spider." You spoke up. The boy forced himself to look at you.
"Keep tripping like that. . . . . and you'll get killed."

Courting Spider
Tumblr media
Pairing: Spider x Na'vi Male OC
Masterlist AO3
Summary: It's time that someone takes care of Spider for once. Zhali is up for the task.
Warnings: aged up Spider/Sully kids, explicit, MDNI, male x male, size difference, Na'vi x human pairing, oral, insecurities, angst, trauma, injury, blood, perfectionism, Spider just needs to be loved, etc.
A/N: Wow, this took a while but it is finally here. Not too confident with some of the writing style for ths one but hopefully it still makes sense.
Tumblr media
“What about the back panel?”
“Useless.” Zhali quickly interjects, weaving the soft fabric together with practiced precision. Lo’ak huffs slightly, titling his head as he watches the male work on the small piece of clothing.
“He’s not going to wear it with his ass out, brother.”
Zhali rolls his eyes and takes a deep breath. He will never understand the Sky Demon’s obsession with modesty. Clothing should allow one to move freely and if it shifts from one way to the other, so what? Who would truly notice, anyways?
Well, he supposes, were it Spider he himself would notice.
And suddenly all that Zhali can think about is getting a glimpse of the little Tawtute’s bum, just another peek at that beautifully soft and squishing form of his. As tempting as the idea is, however, it does have him editing his original claim. If he has interest in seeing that sculpted ass, surely other Na’vi or even Sky Demons could have the same intentions.
He decides to weave together a back panel after all. Besides, once the small Sky Demon has been courted and agrees to mate with him, it may be more rewarding to have that area of his mate revealed to his eyes only. That thought has the slightest curve of a smile lacing his lips.
Lo’ak, as always, is one to notice the shift in demeanor, but he pays the other male no mind. After all, there would have been no chance of executing this courting properly without Lo’ak’s insights. Zhali thanks the Great Mother that he has close enough ties with someone Spider considers his best friend. Otherwise, how else would he know how to make a loincloth for the boy in the first place? Or not to leave dead kills at the outpost’s front entrance as a courting gift?
Lo’ak’s information is irreplaceable. It’s hard enough to wrap his mind around the different customs and concerns of a small tawtute, let alone court one without any insight in the first place.
Although it may seem unconventional to some Na’vi, opinions that he has heard personally from some friends and family, Zhali knows that there is no one else for him besides Spider.
He can still recall the spark of interest that had been there during their adolescence, watching the small boy with golden hair saunter across the forest confidently. He had moved with a grace and agility that Zhali had never witnessed from a Tawtute. Back then, his small crush was poorly nourished as his parents tried their hardest to keep him from spending too much time around Sky Demons. Searching to become a warrior and clan member that would make his parents proud, Zhali had refrained from stepping out of bounds.
There were small moments he had caught with the so-called monkey boy, but it was always in the presence of others.
The night of Spider’s capture had been a core memory for Zhali. He recalls it as the night he truly began his path to adulthood. Regret and dread had laced his gut as he realized his own cowardice had broken any real chance at connecting with the other male. It shifted his perspective, pushing him forward until he had made himself a promise that night.
Never again would he let criticism and judgment keep him from following his heart’s desires.
It was only the direct command and even surveillance from the new Olo’eyktan that had kept him from storming Hell’s gate as a one man army.
Those years apart had been painful, but they had shaped him into the man he is today, the man he needed to become. There had been slight relief that came from hearing of Spider reuniting with the Sully family across the sea. However, he could never erase the sting of missed opportunity.
Following the footsteps of his father and other warriors, Zhali had channeled this pressing emotion into his training. The sun would barely be upon the horizon before Zhali began his daily grind. He had excelled in every aspect that a young warrior could, spending extra hours training alone with only the glowing light of eclipse for aiding sight. When he had pushed himself in every aspect of hunting, fighting, and gathering possible he had moved on to homemaking skills.
Now, sitting here with only a few months of weaving underneath his fingertips, he’s proud to find the garment an attractive item thus far. A surprising fact considering how his discipline and attention has slipped upon the Sully family’s return. Or rather, Spider’s return.
Seeing the small tawtute advance from behind the Sully family, hair somehow turned a lighter shade of gold and arm adorned with shelled jewelry, Zhali had felt like a child once more. The Great Mother had been kind to him, advancing his form into that of a true muscled warrior and adorning him with skills that were far beyond anything the could’ve dreamed about at fifteen, but none of that seemed to matter when faced with Spider once more. His stomach had tightened into a million different knots, tail swinging and ears flickering desperately as he took in the beautiful male before him.
Although taken aback and slightly nervous, something he would never admit, Zhali had expressed these emotions in the best way he knew how; hard work. The family had only been home for little more than a moon cycle but the male’s courting plans were already underway. His consultation with Lo’ak had informed him that the beautiful tawtute was in fact still unmated. He figured that the Metkayina Na’vi knew nothing of real value placed in their laps if they had somehow managed to miss courting such an exquisite creature.
Nevertheless, he is grateful for their insolence.
The yearnings of his heart have never ceased and Zhali would have his soul taken up to Eywa before he’d let this chance slip away again.
“You’re sure about this color?” He murmurs, concentrating on the intricate trim to lace the sides. Next to him Lo’ak lounges along the marui floor with one leg propped as he bites into the delicious fruit he missed oh so much. Golden eyes flicker over to the intricate pattern of green material, different shades popping out in precise patterns.
“Well he did complain about there not being enough green on Awalatuu.”
“I asked you what his favorite color was.” Zhali huffs out, finally letting the unfinished garment rest on his lap. Lo’ak hardly flinches under the glare he receives, simply shrugging his shoulders before continuing to eat.
“I know. Figure it must be green if he complained about its absence so much.”
It’s not fair to bite back at the hand that feeds him. Zhali knows this. He repeats it in his head over and over again. If there is one thing that he has learned about Spider it’s that no one treats the poor boy the way he deserves. Lo’ak and Kiri are the closest things that the small human has to friends, but even they have other parts of their lives that pull their attention away from him. There are always other obligations and personal problems that come first before Spider and to Zhali’s dismay, the boy accepts it.
Being left in the shadows is something that has become natural to Spider in his life. The Sully family takes him in, but never with the attitude of treating him like their very own. The scientists at the lab have watched over him since he was a child but not one of them was truly a parent. They too, have their own worries and concerns. Most are too focused on their own research and work to really prioritize raising a child.
That familiar lingering of guilt resurfaces when Zhali remembers that he too let Spider remain hostage with those Demons for months on end, not one rescue party sent after him.
It’s a fact that haunts him to this day, but he vows to leave all those mistakes behind. Spider will be safe and taken care of in his arms, by his side and treated with the love and respect that he deserves. For the first time in the boy’s life, he will know what it means to be someone’s first priority.
Tumblr media
Spider can still feel Neteyam’s curious glances thrown his way as they walk silently back to the human outpost. With the small bundle of fine fabric carefully clasped in his hands, it feels like a small eternity before the human boy can comprehend the turn of events. Upon his return to the Omatikaya clan Spider had assumed that most outside of a few humans from the lab outpost would remember him, let alone receive a courting gift from one of the clan’s finest Na’vi males.
Is that what this is? A courting gift?
Although, Zhali had used all the proper words one would upon extending a courting gift and beaming at Spider’s acceptance, it’s still difficult to be one hundred percent certain that is what had occurred. The ogling he had done over the garment in front Zhali had been taken in with a smile bursting of pride that seared into Spider’s countenance. The blush that erupted over his tan skin wasn’t even comprehensible until the heat was enough to have him sweating underneath the glass of his mask.
Looking back, Spiders knows that his gratitude had been little more a stumbling of thank you’s and rambled thoughts that hardly finished into full sentences. It didn’t seem to matter, however, as Zhali had left the pair with a stride that made him look as if he was walking on clouds. Truthfully, Spider often makes that comparison when watching the male prance along the forest with ease. He wouldn’t necessarily call it ogling….just keen observations that he can’t help but make.
Neteyam had been almost entirely silent during the exchange and when Zhali had broken away, his only comment had been something about the smooth fabric being made of rare materials only present in the Hallelujah mountains. Spider had done nothing more than nod in response. Now, meeting up with Lo’ak once more, Neteyam jumps in to relay the scene to his younger brother. Lo’ak simply smirks and shoots Spider a wink.
It punches through his blood and once again Spider finds sweat gathering at the edges of his mask. He knows his friend better than he would like to at times, so he knows that looks like that always come with a reason from Lo’ak. He seems neither surprised nor reluctant to let that signature smirk show.
Perhaps it isn’t in his head after all.
A courting gift for him.
Made specifically for him.
It’s disheartening when Spider realizes that he never expected to receive one of these.
He makes an excuse about needing rest in order to get away from the Sully brothers as soon as possible. Once back inside the common area of the outpost, he flings the sweat mask off of his face and to the side carelessly.
“Spider.” Norm sighs from his work station. No words are needed to show that he does not approve of the boy’s disregard of the equipment.
“Busy.” Spider rushes out before practically sprinting to his room. That is if it can be called a room. It’s a corner of the outpost that Spider had managed to claim for himself with old drapes hung up messily for privacy and a hammock strung up that he had made himself. His greatest and most rare possession however was a floor length mirror. Spider had gone through Hell and back in order to get it here. And by Hell, he meant literal Hell’s Gate where the RDA had left their fancy gear behind the first time.
He rushes to throw the bag of fruit to the side and shuffles himself over onto the bed. The soft cloth is unfolded as if he is about to handle the rarest of Pandora’s diamonds and to Spider it might as well be.  Perhaps even more valuable considering the rarity.
The fabric slipped along his fingers like the sway of a rushing river, a smooth effortless motion. His own grimy hands caked with dirt and a hint of blood from rough housing with Neteyam look horrifying next to the carefully crafted garment. In fact, it’s enough to have Spider setting the piece to the side and rushing to the bathroom so he can wash his hands. It would be a shame to ruin the loincloth so quickly simply because of his bad hygiene.
Stomping past Norm and the other lounging scientists he tries to ignore him.
“Kid, what have I told you about leaving your mask on the ground?” Norm huffs but Spider is already closing the door to the cramped bathroom.
He may have been a teenager when he was captured by the RDA but now has come into full adulthood. Something Norm seems to have a hard time understanding. Spider doesn’t care how much water he hogs in order to get every speck of dirt and grime from his hands. He only leaves the cramped bathroom when his skin is scrubbed raw and red.
Leaning back against the woven hammock he allows himself the proper time to just admire the details of his new gift. It’s a beautiful emerald green with precise stitching that works to outline patterns of leaves and greenery. Under the harsh light of the outpost bulbs, the boy admires the way the thread glimmers with the shift of light. He thanks Eywa that it has a back panel. It may be something he is used to seeing with Na’vi but Spider can not imagine having his own ass hanging out of his loincloth, especially without a tail for it to wrap around.
Once he finally wrangles up the courage to try on the loincloth he is amazed to see how perfectly it fits. The fabric is like silk against his rough skin. Or at least what he remembers silk to feel like from that one time another scientist let him touch her silk pillowcase. The band is woven of various colored threads and twine that come together to create criss cross patterns. His fingers brush them softly in a silent reverence.
Spider looks at the mirror and allows himself to drink in the sight. Most days, the boy uses the mirror to simply swat at his dreadlock hair or repaint the blue stripes on his skin, but never can he remember a time that he uses it to admire himself. To look at his appearance head on and feel something more than indifference or longing to be a version of himself that is blue and a few feet taller.
Being a human is something that Spider has learned to make peace with, but that doesn’t mean he particularly likes the look of himself. The blue stripes help slightly to cover the extra squish of his body that is normally nonexistent across Na’vi stomachs. With the beautiful garment now fitted perfectly to his hips, Spider notices for the first time how good a color besides blue looks on him.
The heap of leather that is his usual loincloth seems like nothing more than a discarded washcloth now. Jake had been the one to show him how to weather the material and fashion it into clothing but from there the job had been his own to update the garment in stride with his growth spurts.
The loincloth is so  clean and pristine in comparison to the rest of Spider’s appearance that for a moment he considers putting it away for safekeeping. What would happen if he tore a hole in it or got dirt rubbed into the careful stitching? It’s too beautiful to take the risk.
However, when his fingers start to undo the carefully tied knots at the sides, he catches another glance of himself in the mirror and he hesitates. It looks so much better than before. He looks so much better than before. Maybe it has nothing to do with the loincloth’s quality at all. Perhaps it’s the careful thought and effort put into such an extraordinary gift. A thought for him. Just him and only him.
One simple reminder that someone thinks he is worthy of nice things.
Spider allows himself the privilege of wearing this reminder throughout the day.
Tumblr media
Zhali does not have many opportunities to spend time with Spider, especially without the company of others. Most nights he only gets to share a few sentence exchanges with the boy before either him or Spider is pulled away by their responsibilities or nagging friends. It doesn’t kill his spirits, however, not when he notices how beautiful the tawtute looks wearing his courting gift. Pride swells to the size of a balloon in his chest upon seeing how perfect the fit is. This feeling only inflates to new bounds when he sees Spider wear the garment every day without fail.
Having been entrusted with leading one of the hunting parties on a daily basis, Zhali finds himself daydreaming about the male between patrols and petting down the direhorse. The other Na’vi in the crew do not fail to notice his shift in demeanor. Although some of them spread rumors that it has to do with Zhali’s unbridled affection for a certain golden haired tawtute, no one goes out of their way too complain. Controversial or not, Zhali is more forgiving of their mistakes when he is in high spirits. It matters not that it comes from a small Sky Demon.
Lo’ak continues to assist Zhali in preparing another gift for Spider. This time they settle on weaving together a simple but stunning armband. Surprisingly this requires more experience and skill than the loincloth but he has never been one to back away from the struggle that comes from picking up a new trade. Zhali’s fingers work tirelessly as Lo’ak chatters on about the Metkayina clan and what adventures he missed.
Later that night Zhali listens to the encroaching thunder that rumbles in the distance. Even his direhorse hesitates in his stride but he urges him forward. There is less than an hour left of his patrol and then he will return to his carefully crafted hut to get some much needed rest. However, now the sound of thunder and lightning is becoming more pressing and the male becomes less and less sure of how soon that sleep will come.
It comes as no surprise when the first drops of rain quickly picks up into a full downpour. Lo’ak grumbles next to him, but Zhali ignores the other male’s mumbled curses and directs them to split up so more ground can be covered. They might as well check up on the family huts and make sure everyone has the sufficient coverings and supplies needed for the storm.
It’s when he’s wading through the heavy greenery and wiping water from his eyes that Zhali catches sight of something peculiar. He follows the movement of bushes slowly, urging the direhorse to tread carefully. With the blanket of falling rain it’s difficult to identify the small creature wading through the greenery. Judging by the amount of rustle it creates, Zhali concludes that the creature must be either injured or panicking in the storm. He urges the horse to prowl closer as the rain pelts against his back mercilessly.
It becomes near impossible to see anything in the thick greenery but there is a series of snapping branches and he watches as the beast comes tumbling down the hill. It rolls and crashes along the greenery before finally hitting the bottom of a tree trunk with a grunt. Through the thick sheet of rain, Zhali finally catches a glimpse of golden hair flying in the wind.
Spider!
He’s off the direhorse within a heartbeat and racking through the thick leaves moments later. Spider is sprawled out on the muddy ground, limbs stretched in every direction. The boy blinks, seemingly trying to comprehend the turn of events.
“Spider.” Unintentionally Zhali words come out as a hiss. The Na’vi searches over the boy’s body frantically to see if there are any fatal wounds. With limited light it’s difficult to fully see where the sources of blood are so he shifts to use his fingertips to feel for wounds. Spider simply groans and stares up at him through slitted eyes as Zhali weaves through his hair in search of a head injury. He prays to the Great Mother that he won’t find one.
The Sky Demon’s small body is covered in mud and littered with a plethora of bruises and bleeding scrapes. Luckily, none of these injuries appear to be more serious than the deeper cut over his shoulder. It will require bandaging and a series of healing ointments to prevent infection. Zhali is already running through the list of healing procedures he plans to execute on the boy when Spider’s voice finally breaks him out of the trance.
“Hey.” Spider speaks in a gravelly hushed tone. “I-I’m ok.” He goes to sit up but a large blue hand covering half of his chest, gently pushes him back down. “Sorry I just lost my grip….got a little disoriented but…yeah sorry.”
“You’re bleeding.” Zhali says bluntly.
Spider looks down to see a smear of red painting his shoulder. Zhali watches his reaction with perked ears and pointed tail on alert but Spider simply knits his brows together and shrugs. However, the small being is unable to hide the grimace that flashes across his features. It has become a real effort on Zhali’s part to learn the ways of reading human expression, especially ones covered by those ridiculous masks. It can be incredibly frustrating trying to read one’s reaction without a flickering tail or ears to give away the boy’s state.
“Oh shit, yeah, I guess I am. It’s ok…the outpost has a first aid kit so…”
It’s then Zhali’s turn to scrunch his features in confusion.
A first aid kit? Is that another one of those Sky Demon inventions those scientists are so fond of? Once Zhali had snuck down with Lo’ak and Neteyam when they were teens to the outpost and he had caught sight of things beyond his wildest imagination…or rather wildest horrors. He had watched as giant trunk shaped contraption fold around a human before sucking him into the wall. Lo’ak and Neteyam had later explained that these were the devices used by the Avatars to dream walk. Zhali could never erase how similar it had looked to the coffins that Jake had once described, the constricting box made to bury dead bodies.
Would they put Spider in there too? Or something else? Perhaps this first aid kit would be even worse.
No. He would not be returning to the outpost for those horrors. Zhali is more than capable of patching up the injuries and giving Spider the care he truly deserves.
“No need, come. I will take you home.” Zhali says while carefully helping the boy to finally sit up. Spider’s lips purse for a moment as if he is about to say something but he must have read that wrong because it disappears just as quickly as it came and the small tawtute remains silent.
It is, however, when Zhali easily lifts the male into his arms that Spider strings together a nervous onslaught of objections.
“Oh woah, hey it’s ok. I can walk. I-I’m not really that hurt-”
Lightning strikes across the night sky. Thunder is quick to follow and by the sounds of deep rumbling, Zhali is confident that the storm is only about to get worse. Spider squeaks when he is easily lifted onto the direhorse without response. The other male makes quick work of sliding in behind him and reconnecting tsaheylu before the direhorse becomes too freaked out by the tawtute’s presence. It’s almost second nature to slip his forearms securely around Spider’s waist, keeping him safely atop the creature.
He can feel the boy shiver in his embrace, but it’s difficult to tell whether it is from his touch or the relentless onslaught of rain.
“Thanks.” Spider’s mumble barely rings audible over the storm’s fury. The small sound still manages to bring a smile to Zhali’s face as he nods back in recognition and they begin their journey back towards the village.
Despite the fact that Spider is conscious and not nearly as injured as he could’ve been, he is anxious to get the human to the healer’s tent as soon as possible. This urgency only increases when he can physically feel the boy’s body shaking like a leaf in the wind. His arm tightens around the small male, hoping to let some of his own natural body heat transfer over to him. It’s disconcerting to see how easily a little tawtute can be affected by the elements. It  serves as another reminder of how fragile the pretty boy truly is. It’s easy to forget at times when Spider is swinging from branches like a monkey, but now all he can see in his mind’s eyes is the replay of his small body tumbling down the steep decline helplessly.
It’s then that Zhalie remembers the cloak he has packed away by the saddle. He manages to wrap the thick fabric around both of them. It covers Spider completely and to the male’s delight he finds that the human curls up against his warm chest. He’s satisfied to find that this solution keeps the pelting rain from attacking Spider any further.
Zhali is made for these types of elements but he can only imagine how Spider’s small fragile body could be reacting to such harsh conditions. He makes a mental note to learn more about human anatomy in the coming days. Perhaps Lo’ak could arrange some sort of meeting with one of the remaining medical Sky Demons at the outpost. He hates the smell of chemicals and sterilized metal there but it would be preferable to the real feeling of inadequacy he has now.
To his horror Zhali finds that the pathway to Tshaik’s tents has already eroded into a rushing stream and the tent itself is completely abandoned. He checks in with the Olo’eyktan over the throat comm and comes to find that Mo’at has fled to higher ground with the injured and sick to wait out the storm. With Spider barely conscious in his curled up position against him, Zhali decides that the only logical course of action is to bring the boy back to his kelku for the night.
No matter, there are sure to be enough supplies at his home to patch Spider up and take care of him before the condition gets worse.
Or at least, that is what he mentally assures himself over and over again until they reach the trunk of his kelku.
Zhali is forced to let Spider crawl up the trunk himself as the tawtute is less than willing to let himself be carried again. He considers overriding this decision but he figures it’s already lucky enough that the blonde hasn’t insisted on being dropped off at the outpost instead. He takes the tender mercy in stride and makes sure to be below the boy in case he manage to slip, constantly ready to catch him if needs be.
Zhali is in full action mode as he goes about efficiently securing the waterproof drapes. Spider hangs back, awkwardly standing in the middle of the room. Once the task is finished he turns around to find the boy’s arms wrapped around himself, seemingly curling up in on himself as trembles still wrack his body. It is such stark contrast to the usual confident and sassy demeanor that Spider upholds. Whether it is from the cold or the slightly traumatic situation, Zhali vows to coax the boy into being at ease as soon as possible.
“I-it’s nice.” Spider manages to mumble out before audibly clearing his throat. Those hazel eyes roam over the darkened room as Zhali makes quick work of building a small fire and setting a pot of water over to warm. His own eyes stray from the fire to recall what state his kelku has been left in. Luckily, he has always had a knack for organization and creating a cozy environment in his home. Still, there is no saying what a Sky Person considers to be cozy when it comes to decor. He prays to Eywa that Spider’s preferences are not aligned with that of the suffocating and hard steel in the human outpost.
“Thank you.”
Spider tries to hide the wince that graces his features when he rolls his shoulder, but even in the dim glow of a fire, Zhali can clearly see the distress.
“Come. You are bleeding.” He motions Spider forward and luckily the boy does not protest.
Spider does, however, hesitate as those hazel eyes scan over the empty span thoughtfully. Zhali starts to think something is wrong but then it dawns on him. The boy’s body is speckled with mud and blood. Spider seems all too aware of this as he carefully squats over the clean woven floor.
Of course this must be just Spider’s way of trying to be a polite guest while in his home, but it frustrates Zhali more than he expects. The beautiful human squats over the woven material as if he is unworthy to touch it. This behavior extends to all aspects of their encounter in the space as Spider is more than cautious to let himself enjoy any of the comforting ambience that Zhali has created in the space. He creeps into the area like an intruder, waiting to be shooed away.
And it breaks Zhali’s heart. It shatters him to pieces to think that Spider would ever act in such a way when his presence alone is something to be celebrated. It’s borderline disappointing to think that Zhali has spent all this time over the past few weeks slowly preparing his kelku to become a welcoming place that Spider would be enticed to call his own someday, just for the boy to shy away from associating with it.
“Sit.” Zhali puts a little more intensity behind the words than intended. He mentally curses at himself when Spider flinches in response but the human is already setting himself down gently.
“The bleeding isn’t that bad.” Spider claims, but how would he know when the injury stretches across his right shoulder blade?
Zhali goes to see for himself, reaching his enormously large hands towards the small creature, but then he pauses.
“May I check?”
He idly notices that Spider’s breathing is no longer fogging up the glass of his mask? Has he stopped breathing? Was there something wrong with it? Oh Eywa, how does one fix that little thing if there is?
“Yeah.”
The response is more of a puff of air than real words. Zhali allows himself to breathe now.
Settling behind Spider feels natural and oddly comforting. He enjoys the way his body is haunched over the small blonde, as if he could create a Na’vi shield over the boy if any danger were to arise. The idea strokes his male pride for a moment until he remembers that he failed to shield Spider earlier. When…when he…
“How did this happen?”
“Well it was….you see….” Spider struggles before finally sagging with a sigh. “I fell.” Defeat is apparent in his tone.
Zhali can not decide if he finds this explanation better or worse than the images he had conjured up. The thought of thanator claws scraping at the small being was terrifying, but then again, is it not more concerning to see that a simple fall is all it takes to injure him? This beautiful tawtute truly is so fragile. A simple misstep is all it would take to put him in danger.
Spider appears to be thinking the same thing, but if the red cheeks and deep frown are anything to go by, it’s embarrassment rather than fear that rises to the surface.
“Tawtute, this cut is deep. From how high did you tumble?” He tries his best to clean the cut with the rag as gently as possible, monitoring every flinch and shudder that ripples through Spider.
“My bow got stuck up in the canopy. Thought I could get it down.”
“It is still there?”
Spider nods.
“We will get it in the morning.” Zhali concludes smoothly as he dips the soft cloth back into the now warmed water. He checks it against his own skin first. The male may not know much about human anatomy but it’s clear that their response to the elements is more dramatic than his own. He would hate to accidentally expose the boy to any more harsh temperatures for the night. Once it is sufficiently clear that the rag is at a soothingly warm degree, he begins to glide it over Spider’s back.
“Thanks I uh…I was kind of clumsy I guess. You don’t have to come with me in the morning though, I’m sure I can manage a bit better this time.” Spider rambles.
“I will not if you wish not for my company.”
“No no, it’s not that.” Zhali peeks around the boy’s shoulder easily, braids swinging down as he openly observes the male’s expression. Spider’s turn a brighter shade of pink. Zhali finds he quite likes that shade. “Of course I would love for you to come. I just uh don’t want to make you go out of your way for me.”
“You are never out of the way, Spider.” He sighs, tail curling in irritation. He shouldn’t need to make that clear, especially after efforts he has started towards his courtship. “You are the way.”
He surveys the boy’s expression, but without twitching ears and a moving tail to give him away, it feels impossible to sense the shift in emotion there. He slowly retreats, not wanting to scare him off any more with the staring, but he lingers just long enough to see Spider catch his bottom lip between those blunt teeth. It’s a cute habit that Zhali has noticed from him, but one that he is still trying to understand fully.
It’s obvious what his own response to the action is as his tewng grows uncomfortable, but that does little to help him decode Spider. Not to mention it makes him feel like an untrained teenager all over again, drooling at just about anything.
“Spider.”
He feels the boy straighten underneath his hands.
“Yeah?”
“What is your favorite color?”
“What?”
Zhali is pleased to find that the area around the wound is finally clean and ready for bandaging.
“Color. What is your favorite color?” He repeats. Spider only flinches slightly as he begins to lay the leaves covered in ointment over the small wound. He has to rip them into small pieces a few times so they don’t cover the whole expanse of Spider’s back. Doing so, however, draws his attention to the rest of the boy’s muddied and artificially stripped skin. Long fingers itch to reach for the warm rag again.
“I um…I don’t know. Never really thought about it before.”
Zhali’s eyebrows knit together. He is soon regretting his decision to sit behind the tawtute where he can’t even depend on the minor fluctuations of his small facial expressions for context. His tail thumps against the woven floor incidentally, but at least Spider can’t see that. When the urge becomes too strong, Zhali hesitantly starts running the warm cloth over the rest of Spider’s back.
“What do you say when people ask?” He takes Spider’s lack of flinching as a token of permission, scrubbing the dirt away from his tan skin with the gentlest touch he can muster. It’s interesting to see the way his skin turns a light pink after only a few strokes of the warm rag. It appears that Sky People’s skin is extremely sensitive and expressive to every substance it comes in contact with. He is pleased however to see that Spider’s muscles have begun to relax underneath each stroke and the shaking of his body has puttered out to a small vibration.
“Well I don’t think anyone has ever asked me before to be honest.” Spider tries to slip in a small laugh but it’s strained. Those tiny four fingered hands come to gather his dreads and push them to the side before fondling them absently.
Of course he knows that Lo’ak didn’t know the boy’s favorite color but for no one to ask? Never? By Eywa, what do the strange scientists at the lab that supposedly raised this male talk to him about? The negligence is infuriating and yet Zhali knows he shouldn’t be surprised. From the interactions he has seen between them, Norm acts more like a close friend than anything resembling a parental figure.
Spider pauses, head tilted as he ponders the question.
“I suppose red is not a bad one. Like the red from sunsets.”
Zhali’s lips turn down.
“Not green.” Disappointment lays heavy in his stomach, He should’ve known better than to trust Lo’ak as his source of information.
“Green? Oh you mean cause of the loincloth. It doesn’t really-” Spider cuts himself off, turning silent as he looks down.
Zhali’s ear perk forehead, wondering if he has somehow missed the end of that sentence.
“Shit.” Spider whispers to himself.
Peering over the boy’s golden dreads, Zhali finally finds the source of Spider’s silence. A jagged rip through the side of the loincloth.
“Fuck I- Damnit, I didn’t realize and now….” Spider hunches forward inspecting it frantically.  “I’ve ruined it. All for my stupid fucking bow.” He grits out. “You worked so hard on it and I-”Spider gulps, voice heavy with emotion.
“I will make another one.”
“No no, you shouldn’t have to…..I-I’m sorry.”
Zhali catches sight of glimmering tears welding over the boy’s eyes, ones that he refuses to shed. His heartbeat picks up more erratically when Spider allows his dreads to form a curtain over his face.
“Spider, it is fine. I will make a new one. This time red.” As it should have been from the beginning. This would be his chance to redeem himself and give Spider the courting gift he truly deserved. Hesitantly he reaches out to sweep that golden hair away but Spider reels back.
“Another one? N-no I cant ask that. It’s my fault I ruined it…it was…”
“The wrong color. I understand, tawtute.”
“No no no it….it was fucking perfect.” Spider sniffles and more than anything Zhali wishes he could see the boy properly, get that damn mask out of the way so he could wipe away the tears. “The nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.” It’s whispered so soft and reverant that the Na’vi almost questions whether or not he heard it properly.
It would be easier not to believe it.
Easier to believe that there were greater gestures the boy has received over the years than some simple pieces of clothing.
Zhali shifts  forward, boldly sweeping the hair away so he can clearly see Spider’s sparkling eyes.
“You deserve so much more than this.” He can see the boy’s lungs still with air. “So much more than a courting gift in the wrong color. More than a simple garment that pales in comparison to your beauty.” Spider’s blunt teeth naw at those soft pink lips. “More than jewels and bracelets. More than all the beauties of Pandora combined.”
It’s as if the boy is frozen in time, air no longer passing through those lips. It’s borderline impossible to understand if this is a good or bad sign, but the truth is bursting from the seams, no longer willing to be kept prisoner.
“You deserve a mate that will care for you. One that truly sees you.” Zhali catches a golden strand, tucking it behind Spider’s ear. Oh how he wishes to bury his face in that hair, to fully let the beautiful tawtute’s scent to sink in.
His stomach twists into a bundle of knots but the words come regardless.
“I see you, Spider.”
Silence stretches between them but Spider’s eyes remain trained on him, pupils blown wide and breath stilled. A new form of anxiety settles itself as the seconds pass without a clear breath coming from him.
“You do not have to say anything. I have only begun courting you after all. I simply thought you should kno-”
Spiders cuts him off with a shake of his head, breath finally exhaled. Nothing, however, matches the horror Zhali feels as the boy reaches to lift his mask.
“No Spider-” He catches his wrist.
“It’s ok.” Spider gently pries the hand from his wrist before taking a deep breath in.
The mask is carefully slipped from his face but Spider gives him a reassuring smile when he spots the concern written over Zhali’s face. And then, the space between them decreases slowly, the boy’s face inching closer to his own until their noses brush. Those big doe eyes flicker between his own heated gaze and lips.
The first point of contact is hesitant and slow, but there is a certain tenderness to that gentle swipe of lips. Spider’s lips are so much smaller than his own, but ever so soft. So many moments have led to this one but his heart continues to race, ever so worried about hurting the small tawtute.
It is Spider, however, that pushes it forward, small tongue swiping at his bottom lip. Zhali allows him. He gives the boy of his dreams access, gives him the world because there is nothing else he can manage to do, not when his wildest fantasies are coming true. Leisurely they each explore one another and melt into the kiss.
He cups Spider face tenderly, hands easily covering each side of his head. He even allows his fingers to softly explore through the sunshine mane. Spider’s hands are more cautious, but every area they trace over has Zhali’s tail swinging back and forth exuberantly.
In some ways this kiss is nothing in comparison to the other sexual rendezvous Zhali has experienced and yet it feels more intimate. Like finally having access to a beautiful masterpiece kept behind glass for so long. Finally getting to cherish Spider’s beautiful face instead of observing from a distance.
At the first jerk of Spider’s chest, Zhali sternly repositions the mask over his face. His emotions swirl from pure elation to trepidation as he waits to hear that first breath.
Spider lets out a small gasp for air, cheeks tinting as his chest expands and caves rapidly. Hands on the boy’s thighs, Zhali leans forward, eyes darting across the mysterious mask to make sure it is working properly.
“Can you breathe?” He reaches forward to mess with the contraption, not that he has any idea how but he can’t help himself.
“Yeah yeah…I can.” Spider lets out an airy laugh. “Well, mostly.”
Zhali’s frown deepens urgency increasing but then he notices that dazed smile over the boy’s face. The giddy look in his eyes as that beautiful blush paints his cheeks once more.
“It’s ok It’s ok.” Spider laughs, small hands prying Zhalil’s own off the mask. “I’m alright. Just a little overwhelmed.”
“You promise, sevin?” Zhali sweetly pushes a few dreads away from Spider’s face, eyes studying him intently.
Once again Zhali watches in awe as that tan skin quickly shifts to a darker shade of red, even traveling over Spider’s collarbones and chest. He follows that blossom of color downwards, eyes caught on the boy’s small nipples now perked in the cool air. He doesn’t try to hide the ogling, not now that the truth is out.
“Y-yes.” Spider stutters.
“Good.” He breathes out, but his hands are already gliding over the soft skin of Spider’s sides. He takes in every reaction like a gift. The way the tawtute shivers when his ribcage is brushed, the way that blush only intensifies with Zhali’s darkening gaze, the way his nipples pebble under his long fingers as if they are aching to be touched.
For so long Spider has been forbidden fruit. For even longer Zhali has dreamed of how this beautiful creature would feel in his hands, the sounds he could draw from him. Sitting here feels like a dream, one beyond his wildest imagination when a small groan escapes Spider.
One hand dares to grip the boy’s left hip while the other swirls over one hardening nipple. Without a tail or ears it can be hard to read Spider but even Zhali can recognize the restraint his beautiful tawtute exhibits as his hips twitch and chest heaves.
Spider’s eyes stray away from the intimate points of contact when Zhali leans forward to rest his temple against his. Breath fogs up the glass.
“Spider”
“Yes?” He whispers.
“Let me take care of you.”
Spider’s thick lashes flutter rapidly as he visibly gulps.
“But I….w-why?” He stutters, as if unable to process the concept.
“Because you deserve it, sevin.” He squeezes his hip gently as Spider stares at him with big hazel eyes. A color that he could easily get lost in. Ones that goes greatly with Spider’s now swollen pink lips.
He has never been so desperate to please such a beautiful being.
“Let me make you feel good, yawne.” Spider’s eyes flutter closed when the Na’vi rakes his longer fingers through his hair. “Please, yawntutsyip.”
Spider melts in the touch, letting the Na’vi cradle the back of his head.
“Let me show you how I’d take care of you if you’d be mine.” His softly scratches along his scalp, delighting in the way Spider’s small form goes slack.
A new spice intertwines with Spider’s scent, filling Zhali’s lungs until it has become his own personal drug.
“Sevin?”
“Y-yes yes, ok yeah I-I…yes.” Spider exhales, words tumbling together.
Zhali grins.
Tumblr media
Spider is sure he’s hallucinating. So sure that somewhere in that fall he hit his head a little too hard and now suffers from delusions. It’s the only explanation he has to explain how this god of a Na’vi has decided to please him. The only way he can comprehend not only being allowed in his kelku but furthermore have those sharp teeth tracing over his abs.
Looking down at the male who kisses and nips at his body like it’s art made just for him, Spider is content to let this hallucination continue. He will spend the rest of his life in this dream if it means staying cradled in his arms, if it means feeling that hot tongue explore his body intimately.
True intimacy can be hard to come by for Spider.
Kiri tries and Jake will occasionally ruffle his hair but it does little to satiate what he really needs. Now, however, seems to be the worst time to realize how touch starved he is. It’s embarrassing how difficult it is to keep himself from squirming or God forbid even bucking up into every touch and kiss.
It’s worse than being a teenager in his hammock trying to get himself off. At least then he was in the privacy of his own company but Zhali’s touch is like lightning in comparison to his own. His hands are so much larger that when the Na’vi goes to cup his head or slink down his chest, it covers the expanse easily.
It’s when Zhali pushes him down with a hand to his chest that Spider realizes he might be into their size difference more than he anticipated.
Neck craning to watch Zhali litter kisses along his lower abdomen, he burns in mortification when he spots his own boner through the green loincloth. He wants to believe that Zhali has not noticed this before but even he knows that Na’vi have greatly enhanced senses.
Fuck, he most likely already can smell his arousal, let alone see it.
His blunt teeth sink into his bottom lip harder as he holds back the jumble of moans that threaten to break loose.
It’s pathetic.
Already in adulthood and yet all it takes for him to rut like a hormonal teenager are a few well placed kisses and bites.
Open mouthed kisses are meticulously placed along his v line until he has reached his right hip. Something sharp draws along his skin and Spider sees the  Na’vi’s teeth bared. Their eyes connect for a moment and it appears to be all the confirmation that Zhali requires before he takes the plush flesh into his mouth and sucks hard.
A shocked cry falls from Spider’s lips as his back arches.
Pain and pleasure dance together in symphony when those impressive teeth come into play. What has his legs shaking, however, is the knowledge that it will leave a mark. Even humans know what such a display means.
A marking to show he is being courted.
A marking to show that he is wanted and desired by a male prospect.
“Am I hurting you, sevin?”
It takes a moment for the words to register.
“Wh- oh no no. You’re not.”
“Hm, good.” Looking up through his lashes Zhali keeps their gazes pinned as he lays a tender kiss over the new mark. Those lips skate over his skin until reaching the intricate ties of his loincloth.
Hands holding the male’s thighs apart, Zhali carefully secures a tie between his teeth and begins to pull. Watching that knot unravel feels like the longest seconds of Spider’s life. He isn’t sure if he needs it to speed up or slow down because his brain can hardly process what is to come.
It isn’t his first time being bare before a Na’vi. Admittedly, other Na’vi, even among the Metkayina have had their curiosity sparked by Spider. Some shuffled him away with a rushed exploration and desperate touching that became all the sex life Spider had ever known. However, those had only left him unsatisfied and lonely again at the end of the night.
This is different, however.
Zhali, although curious, doesn’t explore him for his own pleasure but rather Spider’s.
He takes in every new discovery and change like a masterpiece meant to be worshiped. He watches for the slightest flinch to signal a change and the smallest twitches of pleasure to indicate what spikes the boy’s pleasure.
And when the silky loincloth falls away, the same one that Zhali had spent weeks carefully crafting especially for him, he doesn’t rush to grip or stroke. His heated gaze is the first thing to caress him, and then his voice.
“So magnificent, my tawtute.”
Spider can already feel himself trembling. This new emotion bubbling forward does not make it easier to gather restraint, to stop himself from appearing like a desperate lonely fool in front of this gorgeous man.
Zhali kisses right next to the base and Spider forces himself to look away.
This gentle worship does things to him that he could never have imagined and therefore could never have prepared for. He can’t watch this any longer without losing the reins.
He can feel himself twitch as soft kisses are placed one by one around the base until every inch has been covered. Toes curling, Spider attempts to slow down his heartbeat.
“Spider”
“Huh?”
He peaks to find Zhali looking up at him, large golden orbs taking in every flinch in his expression.
“I am not hurting you?” He checks again.
“No no, of course not.” Spider chokes out, ears growing hot at the tremor in his voice.
“Hm, I see.” He hums before his fingertips start drawing soft patterns over his hips. “You are tense, sevin.”
His stomach flips.
“Fuck, yeah I know, I-I’m sorry. I understand if-”
Zhali hushes him sweetly, crawling forward to cup his face once more.
“Spider,” His name from Zhali’s lips sounds like a song. “Do you want this?”
He doesn’t enjoy how fast he is nodding his head.
“Yes. I do, shit yeah I do. I’ll keep it together, I'm sorry.”
Zhali is shaking his head before he can even finish the sentence.
“Sevin, do not apologize.” Zhali’s slim tail wraps itself around his calf and Spider has to hide the tremor along his lips. “I only need one thing from you.”
Spider gulps, leaning forward and ready to take the criticism.
“I need you to relax.”
Spider flushes, fighting back the urge to gulp down the knot in his throat.
“Yeah o-okay.”
Zhali is less than convinced but a warm smile crosses his lips. His fingers intertwine with the boy’s hair once more before he is raking them through those golden locks. The reaction is immediate, pleasurable shivers dissipating through Spider’s body.
Never before had he realized how sensitive he is to this gesture but now with those gentle movements massaging his scalp, Spider feels like he could melt into molten gold. Zhali runs his face along the curve of his neck, marking him with his scent.
The hand in his hair is used to tilt Spider’s head back and give him better access. A breath wooshes from the boy’s lungs.
“Just focus on what you feel, sevin.”
Soft lips lay a kiss behind his ear.
“What feels good,” Zhali continues.
Another kiss, this time to his pulse point.
“What feels different.”
Zhali’s textured tongue drags along his skin languidly. Spider hardly registers his own groan as he lets his weight fall into the Na’vi embrace.
“What you want more of.”
When the male begins sucking a hickey into the side of his neck, Spider can no longer keep a cap on his noises. A string of whines and moans fall from his lips as he finds rest in the moment. Eyes closed and mouth agape, he forgets where he is.
He forgets who he is.
He forgets who he is not.
And Spider lets each exhilarating sensation guide his decisions.
“Good boy.” Zhali whispers warmly against his pulse, licking over the mark to soothe.
His hands firmly run down Spider’s sides, squeezing it greedily until his presence can not be forgotten. Taking control of every curve and line, Zhali plays him like an instrument. Spider lays back against the matt, golden hair creating a crown around him. Hazel eyes dilate before fluttering closed when soft kisses are left along his inner thighs.
Sounds erupt from him that Spider doesn’t recognize when Zhali’s tongue begins exploring his length. His body buzzes with a new energy, nerves a lit with every swoop and swirl of that talented tongue.
And even though his hips twitch in silent request for more, Spiders swears that he could live in the moment forever.
“Such beautiful sounds, oeyä tawtute.”
The compliment floods his cheeks and tugs at his chest. There is no longer room for self doubt as praises fall freely between the beautiful exploration of Zhali’s mouth. Every concern is hushed before it can fully bloom.
“You taste so good, sevin. Don’t know how I went without you for so long.”
And then warmth encases his member in a rush. Zhali sucks his cock with such enthusiasm and vigor that it becomes difficult to see which partner enjoys themselves more.
But it’s him.
Spider is sure it is him.
He knows that there is no other Na’vi or human out there that feels the things he is feeling, that reaches such heights of ecstasy and passion in one night. He can’t fathom anyone else knowing the warmth, pleasure, and relief that washes over him.
Nose to the boy’s navel, Zhali swirls his tongue around the boy’s base, easily able to take all of Spider within the warm cavern of his mouth. Spider’s hands shoot down and grab the Na’vi’s tied hair without thought. His fingers grip and tug at the neat bun until strands start to fall loose.
“Oh fuck!” He shouts, blunts nails digging into his scalp.
Zhali pulls back until his lips are sealed around only the bulbous tip. The point of his tongue runs over the slit brashly and Spider yanks on his hair. The action is rewarded with a carnal moan, the vibrations rocketing through the boy.
Zhali likes to watch. Spider can feel those eyes trained on him without reprieve, no matter which way he squirms and bucks. At some point he feels strong hands pin his hips to the ground, forcing him to take the pleasure in its entirety.
Spider isn’t used to the attention.
He isn’t used to the way Zhali mentally tracks his reactions and the actions associated with them.
He isn’t used to the honey eyes drinking in the sight of him.
But most of all, he isn’t used to being the center of attention.
It breaks him into a thousand pieces.
His climax crashes so hard into him that his small hands search for something to ground him. They circle around Zhali’s kuru tugging as he spills into the male’s mouth.
The sound that erupts from Zhali is unlike anything Spider has ever heard from him. So far from the polite, organized and formal male that he has known. It rings forth with a raspy texture and a deep serenade that sets his world on fire.
Not a drop is wasted and Zhali doesn’t release his twitching length until Spider is pushing back his head.
He falls limp against the mat, bowl pupils staring up at the world in a daze. He can briefly sense the careful precision Zhali takes to kiss every mark before running a warm cloth over him but it’s background noise to the symphony playing in his head.
“Thank you, sevin.”
That deep voice now with a raspy tint weaves into his consciousness as Spider revels in the tingling aftershock running through his body. He can only manage a lazy smile when Zhali comes up to check on him.
“Just give me….give one minute and then I….I can help.” He manages to get out between pants. Zhali’s brows furrow until he sees the boy eyeing his tented loincloth.
“You have done more than help today, tawtute. Given me more than I could have asked for.” And he grins so sincerely that Spider can’t fathom how the male could feel this way. In every sexual interaction he has had, there was always a return of the favor, that is assuming Spider finished in the first place. But Zhali looks at him like he hung the moon, eyes glimmering in delight as he wipes him down with a warm cloth.
“You…you don’t want me to touch you?”
Zhali traces idle lines over Spider abs happily.
“Of course I do, but how would that serve the proper purpose? I am courting you.” Zhali stands and begins preparing the hammock for them. He arranges extra pillows and blankets that Spider has never seen other Na’vi have before. In fact, there is a great deal of influence from Sky People culture present in the male’s kelku. Things that only a human would find necessary.
Before he can protest, Spider is carried carefully to the hammock and laid across the Na’vi chest. He tucks a blanket around the boy’s hips, making sure it isn’t too tight but still brings the wet tawtute some warmth.
“Although, I admit. This is out of order. It was supposed to be step twelve but do not worry. I will make sure not to skip over any. Fourteen steps to go.” He nods firmly, lips perking upwards.
Spider’s brain sputters, head still fuzzy from the best orgasm of his life. Tonight feels like a dream, an absolute horny amazing romantic dream that his subconscious has whipped up. He can barely process the night’s turn of events, let alone this handsome male wanting to go through an extensive courting process all for him.
“Fourteen? You….but…that is so much.”
Zhali’s hairless brows furrow.
“It’s hardly enough, sevin. It’s important that you have enough proof of my ability to provide, protect, and love before you make your choice. So you can weigh your options.”
As if he has other options.
Who would surpass this?
Who has ever even tried?
Zhali continues to run his fingers through the human’s hair as he sighs happily, watching as Spider shifts closer.
“I do not expect an answer now, sevin. But hopefully tonight is a start to convincing you.”
Rain pelting down on the kelku and wrapped in this amazing man’s arms, Spider’s eyes fill with tears again.
To call it convincing would be an understatement.

AVATAR TWOW THEORY
When Neteyam was dying, his last words were "Dad I-" and most people thought he was going to say "Dad, I love you." But I have a different idea. Neteyam always wanted to be the perfect son and carry on his father's legacy as a brave and mighty warrior. But as he was dying he knew he would never achieve that. So, I believe he was going to say “Dad, I’m sorry,” trying to apologize to Jake because he felt like he let him down and didn’t live up to his expectations.

With Binds To My Spirit
Locorro - Spider centric (this is cross posted on AO3 by me using a different account- account name: httpsvnoo)
The scorching sun beats down on the village as it always does, and how it will continue to do so. Na'vi wandering around doing their daily tasks and chores to contribute to helping the village. Warriors fish out in the open water for food for the village to feast on. Others are seated by the shore weaving baskets and other sorts of things. This was the everyday norm for the Metkayina.
Spider is sat on a rock with his friends. Said friends consisting of the Sully children and the Olo'eyktan's children along with their friend. They are sat in a circle somewhat near the water as they talk about something Spider has since lost track of a while ago. He's zoned out as he holds a hand on the back of his jaw. His face twisted into one of pain and discomfort. He has been feeling excruciating pain at the back of his mouth for days. He doesn't know what it is or what it could be. It has never happened to him before. The pain seems to get worse as the days pass, and his body is seeming to take a toll. He feels weak and sluggish all the time since this pain has begun. His face most certainly feels swollen and sore as the days go by. He doesn't particularly like the way his face feels or looks with the extreme swelling.
As he contemplates everything that has been occurring these past few days with his mouth situation, he also fails to notice the worried looks the others keep sending his way every now and then. Spider may think he's slick, but the others can see through his facade. It's obvious something has been bothering the human these past few days. They all noticed how he would hold his jaw with his face scrunched up in pain. He just seemed to ignore the pain and go on with his daily chores. It was like he was neglecting his health and his need for help.
They also noticed how he wasn't his usual bubly self. Instead of talking about whatever came to mind, he stayed silent and only spoke short sentences when spoken directly to. Spider never acts like this and they wanted to figure out what was going on with him.
Spider only zones back in to the conversation when he feels a hand on his lower back rubbing the space there. He blinks a few times and looks to where the hand is coming from. He's faced with Lo'ak looking at him with a concerned expression. His brows are furrowed in worry and concentration as he tries to figure out what is wrong with Spider. "You okay, Spider?" Lo'ak asks as he continues rubbing Spider's lower back to soothe him. His words are loud enough to make the others look over at them in question and concern when they see Spider's face twisted in pain. "Monkey boy, what's wrong?" Kiri asks as she stalks forward and bends down to be face level with him. She looks over his body to see if there are any visible wounds but finds nothing. "It's nothing, I'm fine." Spider replies quietly and turns his head away from Kiri's prying hands. "It doesn't look like nothing, Spider. Tell us what's wrong." Tsireya says gently with a concerned expression.
"Yeah, you've been out of it these past days." Rotxo says with a slight frown.  Spider sighs softly, "It's just that the back of my mouth has been hurting for a few days. I don't know why. And my face is all swollen, it's horrible." Spider explains softly as he rubs the underside of his jaw delicately. "Why didn't you say anything? You could've gone to the Tsahìk to get checked out." Neteyam says disappointed, his face scrunched up in deep worry for the older boy. "I didn't want to bother anyone." Spider says quietly as he continues to gently rub the area under his jaw to soothe the pain  "You're not a bother, Spider. Come on, let's go get you checked out." Lo'ak says before standing up and taking Spider's hand to pull him up. "No, it's okay. I'll get it checked out if it worsens over time." Spider pulls back slightly with a shake of his head that makes his head pound. "Spider-" Neteyam begins to argue but is interrupted by Spider pleading with him. "Please, I promise I'm fine. If it gets worse, I'll tell you guys and let the Tsahìk look at it." Spider begs the slightly younger boy with tired eyes. Neteyam battles with himself internally about whether or not he should let Spider continue being in pain or have him get checked out by the Tsahìk. He eventually gives in to Spider's plea, but he will personally drag him to the healers marui to look over him. "You promise you'll tell us?" Neteyam asks with a series glint in his amber eyes. "I promise." Spider nods and manages a small smile before urging them to continue their conversation that they stopped to check on him.
This time he pays attention to the topic being discussed and only pitches in when being addressed, but at least he was contributing to the conversation. He just desperately hopes that this excruciating pain goes away with time. He can't even eat correctly with whatever is happening in the back of his mouth.
After they finish talking, he'll just go off to his personal shack a little ways away from everyone. Jake had asked the Olo'eyktan if he could have one as a place to stay. Tonowari had agreed as long as it was away from the eyes of the people. The Metkayina were still wary and shaken about the Sky People despite the fact that they have grown to like Spider. He didn't really mind, though.
___
Spider is lounging inside his personal shack with his friends spaced out around the living room section. He's seated at his desk as he was previously working on something but stopped doing it due to a severe headache. His head was throbbing and pounding as he takes in his surroundings. He rubs the sides of his head in a feeble attempt to soothe the ache but it does absolutely nothing to ease it.
He wears actual human clothes inside his personal shack due to the fact that it was quite cold inside. But he can't lie and say that the clothes Norm left for him are not comfortable. When his friends arrived at his shack to hand out with him, he was already wearing a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants. They were very comfy articles of clothing.
Spider gets up from his seat on his desk chair to go to the bathroom. His hoodie is pulled up hiding his face as he passes by the group of Na'vi sitting around his small living room doing various things. They take notice of his presence moving to another place in his shack and look up at him as he walks by quietly.
"Are you okay, Spider?" Tsireya asks softly as Spider walks by them in silence. He simply waves a hand in a 'not good' sign.
"Not good?" Kiri says dejectedly recognizing the hand sign as Spider nods faintly before heading to his bathroom.
The others frown sympathetically at his sluggish state. He has been progressively getting worse and worse as the day went on. No one seems to know what is happening to him. They all go back to what they were doing as they wait for Spider to come out of the bathroom.
Everyone suddenly comes to an abrupt halt when their sensitive hearing catches the sound of a loud thud. Everyone looks at each other confused for a moment and turns to where the sound was heard. It was heard from the bathroom where Spider was.
"Spider?" Lo'ak calls out the older boy's name just loud enough for him to hear.
No answer.
"Spider? Are you okay?" Kiri says a little bit louder than Lo'ak as she feels something in her stomach churning uncomfortably.
No answer.
The pure silence that follows Kiri and Lo'ak's questions make a wave of fear wash over the others as they look at each other with panic beginning to form.
"I'm going to go check on him." Neteyam stands up from the couch and begins walking to the bathroom. He takes a breath from the mask as he approaches the door.
"Spider?" Neteyam calls out softly as he knocks on the door.
Once again, no answer.
"I'm opening the door." Neteyam says before pulling on the door handle which in surprisingly unlocked. Weird.
When Neteyam opens the door, he's met with the sight of Spider lying on the bathroom floor. He appears to be sleeping. Neteyam smiles lightly at the sight and bends down to wake the boy up.
"Hey, Spider. Come on, wake up." Neteyam shakes the boy gently. Spider doesn't even stir. That begins to send alarms blaring in Neteyam's head.
"Spider?" Neteyam shakes him harder. No movement whatsoever from the human boy. Neteyam quickly lifts an arm in the air before letting it go. The arm drops back to the floor as if Spider were deadweight... lifeless.
"Guys! Kiri go get dad!" Neteyam yells for the others who immediately spring up into action to see what was happening.
Neteyam immediately grabs a pillow from a nearby chair outside the bathroom and slides it under Spider's head. He frantically taps the older boy gently on the cheeks to wake him up. The others rush over to assess the situation and are immediately put into panic at the sight of Neteyam trying to wake Spider up. Kiri instantly rushes outside the shack to go get her father with Tuk rushing behind her.
Lo'ak then comes beside Neteyam to check on Spider. He's frantic and panicky as he doesn't know what's wrong with Spider. The two brothers go on opposite sides of Spider and carefully drag him outside of the small bathroom so he has room around him. When they set him down, Spider begins to groan in pain from being jostled too much as his eyes flutter open slightly. His eyes lidded with fatigue.
"'Teyam...Lo'ak..." Spider mumbles as he barely makes out the figures leaning over him. Lo'ak keeps a hand on Spider's thigh as a sign for Spider to know that he was there.
"We're right here, Spider." Neteyam whispers to Spider as he tries to smile at the boy despite the sheer panic he feels at this very moment.
"Help me..." Spider pleads with the two Na'vi pitifully. This was probably the most vulnerable Spider has ever been with them in his life. Spider acting like this only makes everyone's nerves skyrocket.
"You're gonna get help, Spi. Dad's on his way." Lo'ak brushes a hand on Spider's cheek as a form of comfort. Spider seems to lean into the warmth and pressure despite the pain he's feeling.
Jake soon bounds inside the shack with the Olo'eyktan, Tsahìk, his daughters, and Neytiri following right behind. The shack was now crowded with too many Na'vi than the shack was able to hold. But that didn't deter anyone. Jake immediately dropped to his knees to take a look at the child; Lo'ak moving towards the side to give space for his dad to further check Spider.
"Spider? Hey, kiddo. I'm right here." Jake says softly as he leans over the boy so he could see him.
"Jake, I don't feel so good." Spider says in a  slurred and delirious manner. It was like he couldn't talk right. His tongue felt heavy and everything hurts. His body feels like it weighs tons.
The others present in the room feel another wave of panic rush through their veins. Spider couldn't even talk right. They need to find out what is wrong with Spider immediately and treat it as soon as possible.
"Your face is all swollen buddy. What happened?" Jake winces at the sight of Spider's puffed up face.
"The back of my mouth hurts. Everything hurts." Spider slurs as he flutters his eyes open and close. Jake's brows furrow at the information given to him as he looks at his kids in question.
"Can you open your mouth as wide as you can?" Jake asks.
Spider complies even if it hurts and opens his mouth the widest his swollen face will allow him. It's not as wide, to be honest. Jake carefully peeks inside and looks at the back of Spider's mouth to see what was causing him such extreme discomfort to the point he passed fainted. He was certainly not expecting to see four teeth popping out of his gums where his wisdom teeth are. His eyes widen at the gruesome sight.
"What is it? What is wrong with him?" Ronal speaks sharply.
"His wisdom teeth have come in." Jake explains as he eases Spider to close his mouth and relax the best he can.
"What are wisdom teeth?" Tuk asks confused and worried for Spider.
"They are teeth that are hidden in the back of the mouth for humans. They don't come out until a certain age, though. But because they do that, it pushes on the gums of the mouth painfully. It sometimes can make people pass out due to the extreme pain. This seems to be the case with Spider." Jake explains to everyone.
"Is there anything I can do to heal him?" Ronal asks quickly as soon as Jake explained what Spider has.
"No, he needs instant medical attention with my friends that can help him." Jake explains making everyone else's eyes widen at the news.
"We need to call Max and Norm so they can take him back to Hell's Gate to help." Jake further explains to everyone who instantly starts to protest.
"Why can't they do it here? Why does he have to go back to the forest for this?" Kiri questions.
"They have all the supplies there that we don't have. He'll be in more unnecessary pain if we do it here." Jake says.
"Then we're going with him." Lo'ak decides firmly.
"No-" Jake begins to deny his son permission to go with him back to Hell's Gate, but he is rapidly interrupted by Lo'ak insisting he goes with.
"I'm going with Spider, end of discussion. I'm not arguing over this." Lo'ak says firmly as he eyes his father with a protective glint in his eyes.
Jake holds eye contact with his youngest son for a minute looking for something seemingly there. He doesn't find what he wants to find. He sighs heavily before nodding.
"Fine, you can go. Anyone else?" Jake groans as he looks up to the others present in the room.
All of his children put a hand up instantly once those words are uttered. Neytiri calmly raises a hand with zero words, this meaning she will go with no questions asked.
"We cannot go, but we will wait for his return as soon he is healthy again." Tonowari says with a sympathetic look on his face.
"We cannot go either, we must help the clan." Ao'nung says dejectedly as he motions to the other two kids beside him. He seemed like he wanted to come with them, but couldn't because of his duties.
"Alright, it's final. Kiri, do me a favor and radio Norm and Max to bring the Samson to pick Spider up for emergency purposes. We'll fly via ikran." Jake instructs his oldest daughter who nods and quickly leaves the shack to run to their marui.
"Thank you for allowing us to go, brother." Jake looks up at Tonowari who shakes his head.
"You need not thank me, brother. You are caring for one of your children." Tonowari motions a hand over at Spider still delirious on the floor.
"Okay, Spider, can you stand up?" Jake asks Spider who shakes his head softly.
"I can't move..." Spider slurs as his eyelids shut at how heavy they feel.
"That's not good..." Jake mutters.
"Why can he not move?" Neytiri speaks up with a sharp voice.
"It's the side effects to the wisdom teeth. They can sometimes affect your entire wellbeing." Jake explains.
Kiri rushes inside a few minutes later informing them that Norm and Max will be here in twenty minutes or less. Jake nods and thanks his eldest daughter as he gets ready to pick Spider up to take him outside of the shack to be ready for Norm and Max to take him.
"We need to get him to where our marui is so he's ready to be handed off to Norm and Max. He needs to be carried as he can't walk at the moment." Jake informs everyone who begins dispersing around the room to make space.
"He needs his mask before he goes outside." Neteyam supplies before he rushes off to go grab an exopack for Spider. He kneels down and carefully slips it over Spider's face once he has it in his possession.
"I'll carry him." Lo'ak steps up and moves to pick Spider up in a bridal position.
When Lo'ak picks up Spider with ease, the others inside the shack begin piling out. Of course, not forgetting to put the Na'vi sized maks back in their charging station.
Lo'ak walks back to the family marui in silence as he keeps a close eye on Spider held in his arms. He looks so vulnerable and small like this. His face was buried in Lo'ak's chest as he whined in pain. Lo'ak felt a strong protective urge fill his being as he feels the need to take away any ounce of pain Spider is feeling. He wishes he could do just that. He never liked seeing Spider in pain. It just didn't sit right with his heart.
But holding Spider like this makes his heart beat erratically at how close they are. If Spider didn't have his mask on, Lo'ak is positive that he would feel Spider's warm breath on his chest. Just the thought of it made him feel warm inside. He has always liked Spider a little more than he should, but can't help it. What was there not to like about him? He just makes Lo'ak so happy that he can't even explain it. He's not sure if Spider feels the same way, though. He doesn't really want to risk mentioning anything in fear of breaking the bond that they have. He hopes Spider likes him back.
___
Everyone in the family hears the sound of the blades spinning in the air loudly indicating  that Max and Norm are here. The Samson is in sight from their marui as it prepares to land temporarily. The two scientists were only here to pick Spider up and take him directly to Hell's Gate to treat him. The family rush out to meet the scientists.
Max stays inside the Samson to move some things around for Spider to have space to lay down. Norm rushes toward the family, meeting them halfway to intercept Spider. In his Avatar, it is much easier to carry Spider compared to his human body. It was just more convenient for the time being.
"What's wrong with him?" Norm asks as soon as Spider is in his arms.
"It's his wisdom teeth. They're coming out and his body is taking a massive toll." Jake explains quickly as he wanted to waste zero time.
Norm nods at the information given to him and turns around to go place Spider inside the Samson. The family follows behind them hastily as they make sure Norm handles the human boy with the utmost care. Norm makes it to the Samson and carefully climbs on so he can place Spider on the seats in a lying down position. Max is going to stay in the back with Spider to make sure he doesn't fall or anything happens to him. Spider whines when Norm sets him down on the seat as he was jostled a bit; his face scrunching in pain.
"Did you see how bad they were?" Norm asks as he walks around the Samson to get inside the cockpit.
"They were sticking out of his gums. All four of them. I didn't even know he got them until Kiri came running to me saying he passed out in his shack a while ago." Jake explains as he follows behind Norm.
"Jesus, Jake..." Norm shakes his head with his face scrunched up at the news.
"I'll get him into surgery as soon as get back to Hell's Gate." Norm says as he prepares to hop inside the Samson but is stopped by Jake.
"We're coming with you as well. The kids didn't want to leave him alone." Jake says earning a nod from Norm before he hops inside the Samson.
"Follow behind us." Norm says before turning the Samson back on. Sand blows from the wind of the blades spinning.
Jake gives a curt nod as Norm begins to lift off the ground and takes off. Jake tells his family to call their ikran so they can follow right behind them. His family rushes off to do so. Tuk stays with Neytiri as she does not have her own ikran.
Very quickly, the whole family is ready. Jake looks over everyone one last time before yelling out a yip for his ikran to take flight. His family follows right after as they begin their flight back to the forest. It makes his stomach feel weird at the thought of returning back to the forest after all this time. It feels unreal, really.
___
When Norm and Max land, there are already other people waiting to take Spider inside to begin the operation. They would have to give him anesthesia prior to beginning the grueling process of removing his wisdom teeth. Norm feels horrible seeing Spider whine and groan from the intense pain he's feeling. Spider doesn't usually showcase if he feels any pain, but when he does, Norm knows whatever is causing him pain must be serious.
Once the Samson is turned off, Norm runs to the house where the Avatar drivers sleep so he can go back into his human body to operate on Spider. He makes the trip fairly quickly considering how far it is and hurries to transfer his consciousness back into his human body.
He wakes back up inside the capsule and quickly pushes it open so he can run to the room where Spider will be operated in. He's panting by the time he reaches the room. A few other scientists are around the room doing different things. But Norm is only focused on Spider sitting on the dental chair in the middle of the room barely keeping his eyes open. He walks over to Spider and leans over him just enough for the boy to see him clearly.
"Hey, kiddo. You doing okay?" Norm asks. Spider only replies with a slight shake of his head as he mutters something he can't quite understand.
"Don't worry, kid. You're going to be okay." Norm tries to comfort the human by rubbing his arm gently.
Max comes up to him and says that the anesthesia is ready to be administered when he was ready.
"Okay, Spider. Max is going to give you anesthesia to make you go to sleep so don't feel anymore pain. While you're sleeping we'll work on removing those wisdom teeth of yours. You okay with that?" Norm explains to the boy who lifts a hand to put a thumbs up.
"Attaboy." Norm chuckles before moving around the room to grab some more supplies that he'll need for the surgery.
Max rounds the chair and carefully takes off the exopack Spider still had on his face. He can tell that the kid seems reasonably better breathing without the exopack. He grabs the anesthetic mask and stands over Spider to position it correctly. He hooks the mask that covers the nose only and the anesthesia begins to go into his system little by little.
"Take deep breaths and you'll be fast asleep in no time." Max pats Spider's head gently as a way to comfort him.
Spider begins to take slow, but deep breaths like Max had said to do. Not even a few seconds later, he can feel his already droopy eyes falling shut little by little. His view of Max and Norm becomes blurry and unfocused. But he begins to forget about the pain and everything just shut down for him. His eyes finally shut, and he is out like a light. The last thing Spider thinks of is if the Sully's have made it yet. He wants to see them when he awakens, especially Lo'ak.
___
When Spider's eyes flutter open, his blurry vision catches something blue in front of him. Actually, he sees many blue blobs surrounding him. Some more bigger than others. He also feels something in his mouth, but he can't feel it either. He knows something is in his mouth based on what his tongue is touching, but he can't feel his entire mouth at all. It just feels numb.
His vision takes a while to fully come back to him. He squints his eyes at the blue figure in front of him and immediately recognizes the face.
"Lo'ak?" Spider says in question, though his words come out slurred and muffled due to the strange material in his mouth.
"Hey, Spi. How are you doing?" Lo'ak asks as he rubs Spider's covered arm.
"Fine." Spider replies as he looks around the unfamiliar room.
"Does anything feel different?" A new voice asks. It's deeper and more mature. He turns to the source of the voice and sees Jake standing to his other side looking concerned.
"It doesn't hurt anymore. I can't feel my mouth."Spider replies as he presses a finger to the underside of his jaw to test his theory.
"That's great!" Jake exclaims, a smile stretching on his lips.
"What is this?" Spider asks as he tries to take out whatever it is that is in his mouth, but he is stopped by a new pairs of hands gently guiding his hands away from his mouth.
"No, Spider. You can't touch those right now." A voice he recognizes as Neteyam, given that he's much more aware of his surroundings, speaks lowly.
"Why though?" Spider pries for answers. He looks at Neteyam like a kicked puppy.
"It's gauze. It's going to help soak up all the blood. You'll have to change them again in a bit after you eat." Norms voice rings throughout the room.
"Food?" Spider asks, perking up at the mention of eating.
"Yes, Spider, food." Norm chuckles at his behavior.
"Spider's acting weird." Tuk's voice pierces Spider's ears.
"It's the anesthetic in his system. It makes him act loopy and weird once he wakes up." Jake explains to his youngest daughter who awes at the explanation and giggles at Spider's antics.
"How long will he be like this?" Neytiri asks Norm as she watches over the human boy.
"He'll be like this for a few more hours. After this he'll need to take prescribed medication to help with the pain." Norm explains as he hands a white bottle to her containing the medicine.
"He will need to take one of these every eight hours to help with the pain. It should dissipate in about three days to a week." Norm supplies further earning a curt nod from the woman who makes a mental note to remind Spider to take his medicine.
"I want food." Spider whines, furrowing his brows making everyone laugh at how unhinged he is on anesthesia. It does not help the fact that he sounds funnier with the gauze in his mouth.
"You can have food, but it can only be liquids for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow." Norm explains to the human boy who looks at him in horror like he told him the worst news ever.
"So he can't eat or drink anything today?" Kiri asks incredulously.
"Unfortunately not, it slows down the healing process if he does." Norm explains.
"Only liquids?" Spider asks in a high pitched voice not wanting to believe what he was hearing. His shocked expression only makes the others around him grin at his antics.
"Yup." Norm nods.
"It's not fair!" Spider whines as he pulls the hood of the hoodie over his head and tightens the hood by pulling on the strings to hide his face.
"Eywa, I wish I was recording this right now. He will never live it down if he knows how he's acting right now." The sound of Kiri's voice echoes in the room, her cackles following after.
"Leave him alone, Kiri." Jake raises a brow at his daughter who rolls her eyes and raises her hands in surrender.
"Quick question, Spider." Norm says as he picks up something from a tabletop surface.
"What is it?" Spider slurs as he turns his head to face the man.
"Do you wanna see your teeth? They're in this little baggie if you want to." Norm shakes the small bag with a quirked brow.
"No, thank you. I'd like to keep my sanity." Spider replies wittily making Kiri snort. Lo'ak bites his lips to hide a loud laugh that's bubbling up his throat, Neteyam covers his mouth as he tries to stifle his laugh, while Tuk has no shame in laughing.
"Smartass." Norm mutters to himself with a grin as he places the baggie back on the tabletop surface.
Norm eventually has to leave the room to assist Max with something in the lab. He bids the others his goodbyes and exits the room.
Silence envelops the room once Norm leaves. Spider just ignores it and continues to fiddle with Lo'ak's bracelet. The two boys talk in hushed voices in the silence. The other kids join in their conversation after a moment. Jake and Neytiri just stand on the opposite side of the room and watch Spider being surrounded by their kids.
"Do you think he will be okay?" Neytiri finds herself whispering to her mate as she watches on.
"He will. Spider always gets back up in no time." Jake grins as he sees how gentle his kids are with Spider in his condition.
"The kids will make him feel much better than if he were here alone. He'll be jumping around in a few days, I'm sure." Jake looks at his mate with a knowing look.
"I hate to admit that you are right about that." Neytiri replies with a faint smile as she eyes Jake from the corner of her eye.
___
It has been a solid week since Spider has been in Hell's Gate healing. Just today, Spider finally got the okay to head back to Awa'atlu. While Spider was happy that he can go and see Ao'nung, Tsireya, and Rotxo again, he can't help but miss the forest once more. After so long he finally came back to the forest, only for him to leave a week later. It feels bittersweet.
Norm had informed him and the entire family of what to do to continue the healing process and that if something goes wrong, they need to call him immediately.
Now, he stands ready to fly back to Awa'atlu. This time he will be flying via ikran. Lo'ak's ikran to be specific. He feels all warm inside when Lo'ak pulls him up onto his ikran. The younger boy says for him to sit in front of him so he doesn't fall off. Spider complies with no question. But he really hopes that Lo'ak can't see how nervous and jittery he is with him sitting in front of his crush. His liking toward Lo'ak is pitiful, really. Why would Lo'ak ever like him?
He tenses slightly when Lo'ak reaches forward to perform tsaheylu with his ikran. The reason for him tensing was because Lo'ak was leaning directly on his back and draping over him. It made him feel a fluttery feeling in his stomach. His breath slightly fogging up the mask from how nervous he felt.
"You okay, Spi?" Lo'ak asks the older boy lowly.
"Yeah, I'm good to go." Spider replies back with his voice surprisingly even. His ears tinting red at his nerves.
Lo'ak chuckles at the way Spider is acting, muttering a low "cute" before they begin to take flight with the rest of the family.
As they fly, Lo'ak suddenly leans forward and whispers in his ear, "I heard what you said about me when you were under anesthesia."
Those words make Spider tense instantly. He doesn't know what he said while he was on drugs. Who knows what he could've said? He probably said something incredibly embarrassing! Why do the worst things always have to happen to him, especially in front of his crush.
"I like you too, Spider." Lo'ak continued. Spider could see the teasing smile despite facing the other direction.
"What do you mean? I never said anything." Spider tries to play dumb, which is a very stupid move.
"And here I thought I was the skxawng between us." Lo'ak teases as he brings a hand to hold onto Spider's while he flies his ikran.
"That much is very true." Spider agrees with that statement wholeheartedly.
"We'll talk about it in private in your shack when you're not busy. But know that I feel the same way you feel for me." Lo'ak caresses Spider's hand gently like he was so delicate. He quite literally was.
"I'm glad you do..." Spider mutters to himself with a shy smile as he basks in the warmth Lo'ak's body provides.
Lo'ak smiles warmly at those quiet, but definitely not silent words and places his chin atop Spider's head as they continue to fly with the rest of the family. Although the circumstance in which they came back home wasn't favorable, it turned out to be quite nice despite that. Lo'ak and Spider finally came to the conclusion that they both like each other, and they were going to do something about it. One of those things was begin courting one another before making it official. Eywa, both of them couldn't wait to finally show one another affection that they've been dying to show they other.
The small scare Spider had unintentionally worked in his favor in getting the guy he wanted.

when someone insults you (child)
Tumblr media
There are many ways to cause problems and tension, within the clan and between Navi themselves. One way would be insult someone of the clan and thinking their family and friends, will not do anything about it. Once that insult had come out of their mouths there was no, taking back what had been spoken.
Jake x Neytiri
demon blooded girl
Those words had been said toward you by an older Navi women, you had been carrying some basket when a group kids had ran into you. resulting with the kids fall to the ground and getting some scraps of their keens and arms, you and rush to help the kid up. Taking the kids to healer hut, and have the kids attend to as well. The children were okay after the tears had ended but that didn’t save you from the rage of their mothers. As they had been told and thought you had pushed their kids. They had started scolding your outside of the hut, one od them hissed at you tried to grab you arm, soon throwing the insult at gained everyone near by attention.
women “ you demon blood child you have cause not only my kid pain but all these other kids pain” the women soon had came at you with her blade making you doge her and soon, fall down into ground.
Y/n “ please stop and hear me out there a misunderstanding” the women was looking down at you as she was standing tall, but she was not standing tall for that much longer until someone had attacked her.
neytiri “ don’t you dare lay hands on my daughter” neytiri had come right away soon kicking the women away from her child.
???? “ sister” you had been helped onto your feet by Loak and spider, as neteyam had stood between you and the other women.
Kiri “ you are bleeding”
neytiri “ you dare make my child bleed I will make you pay” before neytiri could do anything else Tsu’tey and Jake had stopped her.
Jake " neytiri no justice will be handed out in another way"
moat “ my granddaughter what has happened”
y/n “ there was accident with some kids and I took them here to get healed … ahhh”
Kiri “ grandma her injury”
moat “ come inside I will attend to you” you and kiro followed moat, as the rest of your siblings stood outside waiting. It easy to hear neytiri voice as she yelled at the group, as Jake tried his best to make sure she didn’t do anything else. Your grandmother and norm had been able to heal you up after the incident. They are mad as well and so are your siblings, the mother had been sent to their homes and away from you and everyone else.
neytiri " daughter are you okay"
y/n " I'm fine mom the cut will go away in days"
neytiri " how dare that women lay a hand on you if I was not for your father, and uncle I will taught her a good lessons"
neytiri " I will make them pay for what they have done to you my daughter"
y/n " mother please no we don't need anymore trouble"
Jake " sweetie I and your mother will handled this but you can share you side, of what has happened"
y/n " yes father"
Jake " good and your are not in trouble some witness had told us what happened, but we wish to hear from you as well"
y/n " yes father"you had nodded your head and told them everything, this had made your mom even more mad. As the women and her friends had no good reason to fight you a child and insult you as well. The mothers had been forbidden by your father and mother forming coming near you, for a very long time. They had been in major trouble with your family and the clan, for what had happened today. Their husband had came by your home with offers for forgives and to repay you as well, they had been checked careful by your mom and grandmother. You had forgave the husband and kids but stay away from their mothers for some time.
Jake x neytiri x Tsu’tey
Demon spawn
The day had started off normal for you as you had been doing your task, for the day as you had done every other day. It seems like your day was not going to stay normal. As you had been doing some fishing for your family and grandmother, by the river when some tension had came around. As you are about to hit a fish when you spotted another group arrive, you had smiled and went back to fishing. The group of kids had been to close to edge of the river bank, worrying you as you had called out to them and told them to move a bit. You even help them find a good place to fish and good position to use while fishing, and they seem to love your advice and help. You had been able to caught some big fish and started walking home, you had been that far from home when someone shoved you to the ground.
y/n " hey"
Navi teen boy " don't your dare speak to my brother and his friends like that demon spawn' You had got up not wish for a fight right now and tried to collect your fishes, when the boy had shoved you again onto the ground as the other kids came.
navi teen boy 2 " you heard what you told me demon how dare you tell them what do to do"
y/n " I was helping them that all and making sure they didn't get hurt, and making sure they were able to bring some fish back as well"
navi teen boy 3 " you are a freak and have no right to tell us how to live and do anything, and you dare lay your demon hands on my brother"
y/n " leave me alone so let walking away or this will become a bigger problem"
navi teen boy " we will never obey the words of demon girl that ...." the boy had been punched in the face by no one other then, lo'ak who was mad right now.
lo'ak " hands off my sister" the second boy had been kicked by someone who was spider.
spider " hands off of her"
????? " y/n" neteyam had been seen as he soon helped you stand he was mad as well.
navi boy teen " " the demo. Spawn started it first"
lo'ak " don't your dare call her at and or speak to her like that"
navi boy teen " demon spawn" A fight soon broke out between the boys.
???? ' enough " your dads had shown up with the other kids fathers breaking up the fight.
neytiri " what the matter here"
lo'ak " this boy was looking over my sister as she was laying on the ground, as him and his friends yelled at her fathers"
Tsu’tey " what"
spider " they insult her and called her demon spawn" soon all eyes were on you and it easy to say that you had been shoved to ground.
Neytiri " you dare lay a hand on my daughter to hurt you, you boys are shameful"
Jake " what happened y/n"
y/n " I was walking home when I was shoved to the ground, all because I help their younger siblings with their fishings"
tsu'tey " this that true"
boys " ....."
navi father " olo'eythan Tsu’tey our boys ......"
Tsu’tey " I was speaking and they will answer me"
boys " yes"
Jake " how dare you all do this over our daughter being helpful, and then you insult her as well"
neteyam " insult our sister is insult us all" the boys who were once acting like they were all that, were now not saying anything as all eyes are on them.

lo'ak " I will caught some later with the boys" you had nodded your heads as your mother had taken you and your boys to healer hut, to get checked out and soon enough home as well. Your brothers and spider had been able to caught new fishes for the family, but there was still tensions as your whole family had become mad about the insult tossed your away. They soon clam down after dinner but there was still issues here and there, the boys had stayed away from you until they came to say sorry with their siblings and your siblings there as well.

y/n " I'm going to leave right now before anything else is said"
navi women 2 " Such a shameful child you will ruin our clan and your family" You did nothing as you soon started walking away from them right away.
Navi teen girl " You will never be their daughter just some shameful child that will never be loved, and once I become mates with your brother you will be gone ... no more freaks and no shameful ones as well like you and them"
y/n "It will be best if you stop talking and following before anything else happens"

navi women " we were telling her the truth how dare she ruining your family and our clan by being friendly towards them, we were doing your parents a duty by dealing with this freak girl"

tonowari " my daughter dont listen to them I love you and you make me proud"
ronal " yes your father is right my daughter"
y/n " thank you mom and baba but please don't punish their whole family"
tonowari " yes I can make that happen" you had nodded your head feeling better about everything that happened, your siblings and friends had spent the day with you making sure everything that you are good and happy. True to their word the promise between aonung and the girl had been called off, and when the mother made a scene to the whole clan the truth was revealed to everyone which made matter worst for the mothers and daughters. They had been official told to stay away from you and if they dare do anything else, there will be trouble and they were already in enough trouble with your family and clan.

I don’t know if your request are open but I love your aunt y/n Sully series. Can I request one where there are men of the clan want to mate her. But her nephews (new included) don’t want her mated because they feel that it will take time away from them. So when ever they see a man walking up to her they get in the way. You can decide if she ends up with someone.

In one of the requests, I had mentioned Ruk'e who was Y/N partner (If you want to read more about it "HERE") But I didn't explain in depth how everyone's reaction was when they found out that their aunt had a partner. I think the most affected would be her nephews. Auntie Y/n has created a very strong bond with these children, she is like a second mother to them. But unlike their mother neytiri, they don't want to share her with anyone.
The first one to notice something is neteyam, he had gone to look for you to spend some time with you. And he felt that his little belly was hurting, and he knew that his aunt y/n would help him ease the pain with one of her favorite tea. Upon arriving at his location, he noticed a man standing next to you. You were laughing and he watched as he took some of the braid from his precious aunt's hair, placing it behind her ear. Neteyam was no fool, he was old enough to know that this man was flirting with HIS auntie. The boy runs to you, falling into your arms. Neteyam was your size, but he was still your baby. "Ahh net what happened honey?" you ask, you are surprised. Ruk'e moved a little away from you, looking at the cute scene before his eyes. " Auntie…my stomach hurts" neteyam says, now sitting between your legs to lay down on your chest. Stroking his stomach, pouting. You laugh a little, and caress his face. "net…how about we go to mo'at's and make that tea you like so much" you speak, the boy gets up quickly. Taking your hand, dragging you with him. He didn't even give you time to properly say goodbye to ruk'e. "See ya!!!" you shout, waving goodbye to him. The man copies your movements, even he could feel the boy's jealousy. It was very adorable for him.
Neteyam told everything to his brothers, who fell a little panicked. Because the little neteyam's words were something like "that man will take aunt y/n away from us forever, and she won't love us anymore" causing kiri and lo'ak to start crying. For eywa they could not lose you. So they decided to form a plan, to get that man out of your way. Of course, they had to recruit the whole squad. So they go running after spider.
To their bad luck, spider had already met ruk'e. And to make things worse, he really liked him. "What are you talking about!?????? He is the enemy!!!" shouted lo'ak taking his cousin by the shoulders and moving him from one side to the other. The poor boy looked like a puppet. Kiri pushes lo'ak. "Hey…you're hurting him," the girl says, hugging spider. Neteyam approaches, looking seriously at spider. He was trying to imitate his father, standing up straight with his head held high. "Spider….that man wants to take aunty y/n away from us…you must not be kind to the enemy. We must unite and defeat the 'auntie-stealer'" says neteyam, lo'ak and kiri clap him from behind, his little speech had excited them. Spider laughs. "Ruk'e is good to me…he's nice. I like him" spider is interrupted as he grabs his head. "We've lost him… he's had his brain eaten" lo'ak shouts exaggeratedly. Kiri hugs spider tighter. "Hey…I think he'd be a good dad…for me" says spider. His cousins almost faint. "We have to lock him in the lab until this whole thing is resolved" says neteyam, motioning to his brothers to catch spider. SPider runs off, as everyone runs after him. You could hear the giggles. "'They're really close, aren't they?" says ruk'e. You were next to him, both of you were hanging out together. "Yeah…they're inseparable" you laugh, as you watch lo'ak throw himself on top of spider, followed by kiri and neteyam.
The boys had a mission, and they were going to follow through with their plan. The days had passed, and every time they saw their aunt with that man. They would run to ask for your help, or they would make up any excuse to get away from him. They thought everything was going great. It wasn't until one night, when the children heard the voice of their aunt y/n entering the hut. They started to approach the entrance, but stopped short. They noticed how behind their aunt, stood the man they had tried to scare away behind their aunt. Lo'ak saw how the man was holding his aunt's hand, the boy was about to cry. "Lo'ak!!!" shouts spider, the child was next to you.
Neteyam ran as fast as he could, stopping in front of the couple. Stretching out his hands and feet. He looked like a starfish, a pretty blue starfish. "No….he will not enter our home. AUNT Y/N…STAY AWAY FROM HIM" neteyam shouts. This gets the attention of jake and neytiri. "Neteyam!!! What's wrong with you?" says neytiri. Approaching to where her son is, taking him by the arm. But the boy soils himself, and runs to hug his aunt. Followed by lo'ak and kiri. All the children were hugging and you could hear how they were whimpering. "And what is wrong with you three?" you are confused. This was supposed to be a quiet reunion, not a sea of crying.
"He's going to separate us…I love you aunt y/n!!! he wants to take us away from you" shouts neteyam, You could tell the three kids looked funny. They were about your size. Maybe a few inches shorter than you, they had you wrapped in a hug. Crying and throwing tantrums. All the adults in the hut couldn't hold back a giggle. They looked so cute. "Hey…come here. Calm down" you speak, separating yourself from them. Taking their hands, to lead them to where they were all supposed to sit down to spend some time together.
"Listen…you know you guys are my whole life, I love you unconditionally. And no one…no one in this world will ever make me stop loving you." You speak, turning to signal ruk'e to sit next to you. Jake and neytiri watched the scene. They knew this was yours to fix, you were an important piece in their children's lives. "Ruk'e..is my mate" you speak, watching as kiri puts her hands to her mouth, she was about to protest. You reach over and take her hands in yours. "He is good to me…and he will be good to you too. And he will take care of you as much as I do" you speak, watching as lo'ak comes to your side, laying his head on your shoulder. "No…I don't want him to love me" neteyam says, you take his hand. Dragging him onto your lap, the boy clings to you. Snuggling into your chest like a baby.
"There…there. Stop being dramatic. Your aunt isn't going to leave you and no one is going to take anyone," says Jake, calming the mood a bit. Ruk'e takes out of his bag that he had on his waist, a kind of bracelet. It was very pretty, with soft colors. And carefully handed it to Kiri, the girl lowered her face a little blushing. "Here baby…I made this for you" says the man, watching as the girl carefully puts on the bracelet. Kiri thanks him, and sits closer to him. "And I also brought something for you two…little warriors." Ruk'e speaks. Watching as both children look at him intently. "Spider told me that you two really liked the ikrans …so" the man pulls out two ikran figurines, they were small and very precious. Lo'ak immediately approached him, taking the toy. Giving him a smile. "Thank you" says the boy softly, sitting down next to spider. Neteyam hesitated, but reached across your lap to take the toy.
After 2 hours, all the children were at ruk'e's side. Neteyam was next to him, explaining everything he had learned in his last classes. Lo'ak and spider were trying to climb the man's back. Which didn't bother ruk'e, to him they were two fleas playing on his back. While kiri was braiding a piece of his hair, putting some flowers in it.
You laugh, watching your partner play with your nephews. "thank goodness they were just upset." says jake, laughing. "They love you very much" says neytiri, you nod your head. Seeing the smiles your nephews and son had. They looked so happy…they're just a little jealous.
