You know I've been trying to figure out why exactly I haven't been gassing on about Love and Deepspace the way I had Obey Me and What in Hell is Bad and I think I FINALLY realized what it was.

With Obey Me and What in Hell is Bad I felt like I had to fix things in it to make it palatable to me.

While with Love and Deepspace things are so fine I don't really feel the need to adjust things.

I've been like racking my brain trying to figure out what was up with LnDS like why I wasn't doing comics or griping about characters too much or doing my usual bitching and after talking to my friend I realized the game is just good to you.

It's fair and treats you well.

I really don't know how long this will last but after going from Obey Me's Greedy Ass and What in Hell is Bad's Extortionist Practices it's so surreal to find a game that just... Treats ya well.

Like it's Otome it's fun it has good moments with the guys and its... It's just nice.

Granted I'm still not crazy about being a straight brown haired MC and I'm not crazy on the "We meet in every life time/reincarnation and fall in love" biz but like... It's good to me.

And I really gotta get used to that fact.

Not to sound horny during working hours, but after finishing Sylus’s card and then listening to his secret times audios, it’s proving more and more that he’s SOFT. Like I understand in the beginning we’re made to believe he’d be this rough almost sadistic dom but…that man is a gentle giant if anything. *Slight Spoilers*

When he’s braiding her hair and she flinches out of reflex, he rubs the spot he pulled too tightly and blows on it. If you go back, there are several interactions with physical touch where he checks in with “Am I being too rough?” Always gently nudging to receive her affection. I’ve always thought he was sweet, but this card nearly made my heart explode with all the fluff.

I definitely think he has it in him to be this domineering *again rough s3x kind of guy but that’s not really his default. so, i had seen a lot of people saying that xavier only loves queen mc, but after reading his 3rd anecdote, i’d beg to differ. 

there is a quote in there where he says “no matter how many times it takes, no matter where you are… i will find you.” 

to xavier, mc is both hunter and queen. there is no difference. even if mc were to have another life, xavier will still see her as the same person, the love of his life basically. and no matter how many lives it may take, he will go through anything and everything to find her and be with her in some way.

also, his relationship from queen mc evidently carried over to hunter mc. remember in his myth where she was in a duel with xavier before he was taken away and jeremiah came up to talk to her, but when xavier returned and saw jeremiah’s arm around mc, xavier clearly was pouting and even told him basically to stay in his own lane. then we have hunter mc who jeremiah was measuring her figure in order to create an outfit to fit her fake role only for xavier to deadass spray water at him like a misbehaving dog saying that she can do it herself. 

i know damn well jeremiah had a ball in both instances, he just enjoys provoking xavier whenever possible.

his jealousy shows the same whether queen mc or hunter mc, perhaps he learned from his mistake before, but his efforts with hunter mc seems more like ‘i’ve made this mistake before, i won’t allow it to happen again’. because, if it were truly only for queen mc, then why would xavier go out of his way for hunter mc; when mc lost caleb and josephine, how she felt lonely and xavier told her about snowflakes falling on loved one’s shoulders by their passed loved ones. or even the most recent cards such as ‘romantic afternoon’ and ‘succumb’  as well as his 4* memories altogether. 

for someone who is coined as the one who only loves and cares for one version of a woman…he sure treats hunter mc a lot better than he did with queen mc. but, i still stand on this hill that xavier loves mc, no matter what version she is. also something i want to add, man is old, he’s been traveling space to and fro, he would never waste his time on someone he didn’t genuinely want to be around or simply be with.

when i say it transcends, this is legit what i mean.

to him, queen mc is right there with him, once made to be his knight, now hunting and defeating wanderers side by side.

LOVE AND DEEPSPACE? MORE LIKE LOVE AND SCAMSPACE

ok as much as i absolutely love this game, it hasn't even been a YEAR yet people are ALREADY EXHAUSTED because of how fucking punishing the game is in terms of spending

i've spent around 600 USD on this game, give or take. it isn't a small amount, but it isn't a gargantous amount either — and yet, even i feel like i've been cheated out of my money, which is hard to do.

"but gacha games are predatory by default, it's ultimately your fault for spending money on the game"

yes, they are all predatory. they're meant to get their consumers into a top-up addiction. however, infold is especially (and unfairly) scummy towards lds players.

if you are unaware, infold isn't a brand-new company — it's just papergames underneath an alias. they're mostly known for their nikki dress-up game series and mr love: queen's choice franchise (which is another otome game).

question ‣ but why, exactly, does this matter?

answer ‣ the way infold/papergames treats mlqc and nikki fans in comparison to lds is night and day.

for reference, i've played both game franchises and i first played infold's games back at 2017, right when love nikki, the game that catapulted infold in the mobile game industry, released. i've spent money on infold's games before love and deepspace's release.

the games' difference from lds in terms of f2p/p2p is laughable, the largest difference being the existence of the top-up accumulative system.

if you are wondering what the top-up accumulative system is, here's an example (DO NOTE THAT THIS IS JUST A SAMPLE. THIS IS IN NO WAY INDICATIVE OF WHAT IT SHOULD BE.):

im going to continue posting content and fics for lds, not for the sake of papergames but for the sake of fans who can't enjoy the game without dumping their entire fortunes on this shit.

A part of the reason why I liked Rafayel was because he could cook. In my whole life I've never seen a man cook and make it seem like a normal chore/ a normal house hold work. I love when he cooked for us in a 4* card ( I forgot which one ) He didn't make it a big deal to get praised or seem cool. he cooks because he knows how to cook, he cooks because he wants to, he cooks because it's something that would make his partner happy. ( Same with sylus but he has yet to cook for us and he only made salad which is kinda meh so yeah) and it got me thinking that how normalised it is for men to not know how to cook. it's something a woman should know and those who don't get ridiculed because how can you not know woman it should be in your DNA like wtf???

The guy I had a crush on told me almost bragging that he lives alone and can cook and my response was 'cooking is a basic skill which you do to survive ofc you should know how to cook' and he seemed offended?? Like he was waiting to get praised and for what? Cooking? I've been doing that since I was 12. When a woman/ girl tells that she can cook nobody bats an eye but when it's men — it's supposed to be something praiseworthy?? Like be for real!
