chaerin looked forward to working, it always consisted of doing her favorite thing. she especially liked when it involved some of her idol friends. she’s worked with phoenix plenty of times, she knows the members, she’s memorized most of their dances. it was familiar and maybe that’s what made everything go smoothly, a rhythm that she knew like the back of her hand. she had been asked to lend a hand with their comeback and even though she knew phoenix could hold their own with choreography with ease, the dancer could never say no to working with them even if it’s for something small. soon the choreographer concluded the practice and everyone filed out, rin stayed behind with a company laptop to watch back footage of the practice to submit any good behind the scenes for any potential future fan content to infinite’s creative team. she wanted to upload everything as the members did amazing but she had to hold back her eagerness. though she couldn’t let the silence envelope her long when the door opened again. perking up from her spot on the floor, she thought it was the choreographer coming back. “forgot something again, ahjussi?” she teased with a giggle but her smile dropped as she realized who it was — chanwoo. “oh. . sorry. thought you were- nevermind.” it was hard dealing with how fast things changed between them in such a short moment, it took her a while to move on though the effects and memories of the harsh sting was still there.

somi couldn’t let herself fall into the temptation of cancelling. she was on the receiving end more than once and it was the worst, considering it involved seungho. she didn’t want a repeat nor could she handle him being upset at her. she didn’t even like it when it was the other way around. the soloist could acknowledge now that he had good reason but she also had one too. she wasn’t the biggest fan of ren. when he broke seungho’s heart, she declared him her biggest enemy. they were back together though and she couldn’t find it in herself to be excited for seungho. she was worried and concerned and a little. . disappointed. also confused. what does he see in him? but her best friend’s mind was made and he did seem happy so she tried. that was what she was doing today — trying. so with a sigh, she finally made a move other than glaring at seungho’s apartment door and knocked her signature knock.

jian had already been a regular at this particular coffee shop but ever since he found out this was where seungho had now taken a job at, he practically took residence there when he wasn’t hanging with danbi or you know. . working the idol life, whatever. he was able to get his usual ‘coffee’ order and he got to bug see one of his favorite people more often than before. however he still had his favorite barista make his drink — he was picky after all and he thought her bright blue hair and nose piercing had magical coffee making powers even if his order was eighty-five percent just sugar. “hyung.” he whispered loudly from the stool he was sitting at, feet swinging as he watched said hyung work. “kiss, marry, kill. spencer reid, simon basset, hayes campbell.”
