Getting the notif for this made me do a double take and then gasp out loud . THEY NEED TO KISS RIGHT NOW !!!! All ican think of is the scene where lbd tears apart spider queen and you can see it in the shadow on the wall w a parallel scene where chetachi tries to devour chidi or azure in her monster form and you can see her shadow. Canyou see the vision I'm having a Vision okay. Also think it would be SO fucking funny if chidi was scared of spiders or hated spider queen . Chidi and her parents w horrific taste

(btw I don't actually know a whole lot about Chetachi so I might make some lore mistakes haha :'D Feel free to correct me on them!)

So, off the bat, older sister dynamic. Zhao's an older sister of like?? Six younger siblings (more lore on them soon if y'all want??). So naturally she's good with children, not like she had a choice honestly, she had to learn to be good with children.

With Chetachi, I feel like out of everyone, she'd be the closest to Zhaoyan. Mostly because of said older and younger sister dynamic. And I've always read Chetachi as a sort of girl's girl!

I can see Zhao just brushing her hair while they chat.

Zhaoyan would've been extra protective of her, because Chetachi was young, and well, her found-family sister in a way. Out of everyone, the two of them related to each other the most me thinks

Now, after the brotherhood, oh boy

There'd be,,, a lot of miscommunication, to say the least- Chetachi would probably feel a little betrayed. And she has every right to be. These two were like older siblings, and Zhaoyan just,, left her. It's true Zhao wasn't aware of The Brotherhood's plans to try and take over the celestial realm, or their plans on all the damage they were going to do.

But still

She never went to see Chetachi again, she never went to check up on Chetachi.

Maybe it was because she "forgot" (pink diamond core), or maybe she just didn't have enough will power to see her again. That's one of her worst flaws, she makes mistakes, and then she just runs away from everything she's done wrong. (Hmmmm reminds me an awful lot of someone huh,, cough wukong cough)

She's a flawed stinky witch smhhh

And, Yeahhhh, that's basically it! So in summary, tragic sister dynamic (it's giving Greek mythology)

Xia and The Mayor dating is so so funny to me because it implies that SOMEHOW Xia is just. Back from the dead???? Inexplicably brought back??? TOP 10 SHIPS OF ALL TIME . I imagine a scene w a record-scratch as Xia walks in w the mayor hand in hand . Sounds of ceramic cracking and a metal jaw meeting the floor . My personal workaround is that lady bone demon brought her back by accident and told the mayor to rid of her and the rest is history <3 while the main cast is going thru hell and back these two are having a cute heart-warming romance in the background .....
