#lmao i actually made a color palette for my hypothetical wedding

my darling love @holdmesamthatwasbeautiful​ and the amazingly talented @writinginthesecrettrees​ tagged me in this cute q&a (thank you, babes), so here it goes ♥

-what’s your favorite song(s) to sing/hum? ohhh, well, currently hozier’s ‘shrike’. it’s the most perfect thing. but usually my go-to is dire straits’ ‘romeo and juliet’. 

-what’s your favorite flower/tree/plant? i’m gonna go with flowers: sunflowers, white lilies and cempasúchil (pretty sure they’re marigolds. in mexico they’re our flowers for the dead♥).

-favorite color(s)? gold, black and that yellow-orange of the sunset.

-what do you always doodle? cartoon-looking faces.

-how do you take your coffee/tea? not much of a tea person. i take my coffee black + one/one and a half sugars. sometimes i’ll add a bit of milk. if there’s café de olla, then café de olla (coffee brewed with cinnamon and piloncillo, which is i think a type of brown sugar. so delicious).

-favorite candle scent? rosemary lime

-what perfume do you wear? i...don’t really wear perfume? </3 but sometimes i’ll use lotions with fragrance, usually anything citrus/sweet-smelling (lime, honey and coconut are my favorites).

-what’s your go-to dance move when you’re alone? ahsgdhshhaadghagdh ohmygod i’m too stupid and self-conscious to dance. but when i do i go for badly executed twist moves. 

-favorite quote? (there’s three of them because i’m awful, i’m sorry)

-favorite self-care routine(s)? a very long walk listening to my favorite music. get home, washing makeup off and changing into soft pajamas. getting in bed to watch one of my comfort movies while stuffing my face with my favorite comfort food (greasy burger&fries)(that’s...not healthy self-care). getting a good 8-10 hour sleep. 

-fuzzy socks or house slippers? fuzzy socks forever and ever and forever. ♥♥♥

-what color are your eyes? brown so dark you can’t even see my damn pupils.

-what’s your favorite eye color on others? sam winchester’s/jared padalecki’s. whatever that stupidly beautiful, magical color is. but also soft, hazelnut brown. it makes me swoon.

-favorite season? why? a bit of a tie between autumn and winter. autumn has my favorite weather: all clear blue skies and cold winds and bright sun. but winter for me means visiting my family and comfort food and movies and cooking christmas dinner (cooking!!) and decorating the stupid tree and i’m a cheesy fuck so i love that shit.

-cheek, neck, or nose kisses? i’m personally not super into physical contact/me being touched (with some exceptions), but kissing someone else’s neck definetely sounds nice.

-what does your happy place look like? oh, i’m very much a simple human. just a place i can call home, either alone or with someone i love (be it family, a s/o, or my pup), cooking or reading or watching movies or cleaning or listening to music or chatting or being in comfortable silence, feeling safe and warm. the ‘where’ or any specifics don’t really matter, just that feeling.

-favorite breed of dog? ohhh noooo. i love. all doggies. but i do have a soft spot for the big, fluffy ones: australian shepherd, samoyed, golden retriever, old english sheepdog. but also pitbulls. and obviously my baby pepper, who is a schnauzer, and man, is that breed noisy. but i love her so much.

-do you ever want to be married? if so, what colors would you pick for your wedding theme? for most of my life i’ve thought no, but during the last year or so i discovered some things about myself that made me realize that, if i find The Someone TM, and that person really wants to, then i’m in. so i’d probably be into warm but light colors. a lot of cream and white + gold and soft yellows and maybe a bit of red.

-cursive or print? my writing’s a kind of mix of both. but cursive’s best.♥

-favorite weather? i think i mentioned it above. give me clear blue sky, bright sun and icy-cold winds.
