My creation is complete! Photo proof of my Satisfying Summer Squash Casserole from Llewellyn’s Sabbat Essentials in a cast iron! Only way to go really. And let me tell you, it is divine magic!✨⚡️💦 Now, ingredients list doesn’t say a thing about flour, but in the directions there was a point where it says “ now add the eggs, then stir in the flour, but don’t over mix.” Hold up! What flour? So, like I wing my eyeliner, and everything else in my kitchen, (clears throat) quite sloppily, I just ended up WINGING IT! My intentions were set and I really felt like I was getting somewhere and then I went back to getting the extra moisture out of the straining squash and squeeze the rest out like the last of my frustrations running down the drain, washing down a riverbed, and all that nice imagery. Well, I got a bit carried away and the squash got a bit pulverized rather than just in smaller pieces and chunks for texture... I’m still so so satisfied! And I’m happy my plate has a cucumber from my garden on it. A peach, not local, but delicious nonetheless, and my beverage is sparkling water with a touch of my refreshing homemade lavender simple syrup.
