Watch What Happens: Do you enjoy writing? If so, what kind?

Well I mean you and many others know the answer to this, but YES I LOVE WRITING. I love how you’re basically able to create something from nothing with nothing but your imagination and some way to document it. Hell, maybe even without a way to document it half of my writing I just do in my own head and it never makes it to the paper. In any case, I mainly enjoy realisticish fic, I write more fanfic that I willingly admit, and just basically anything that’s driven by characters and their interactions. I just like to put two people in a setting and let things go where they will, which is one of the reasons I like RPing so much since it’s so freeform in that respect. (Incidentally if you’re still game I would love to 1x1 Lukali just lmk).

Watch What Happens (Reprise): What’s a time you almost gave up?

….does now count? I’ve been trying to hard just to motivate myself to get out there and apply for jobs and everything but I just can’t. I’m close to giving up for the time being but I know I can’t. If I give up again I’m probably never going to get out of the slump. I just don’t know what to do.

Brooklyn’s Here: Tell us a time a friend really helped you out.

While many of my friends have helped me with many things, I have to give this one to @lizziebanner12. I wish I could come up with a specific example, but she has helped me so so so SO much over the years I can’t believe how lucky I am to have her in my life it’s insane to think there was a chance we’d never met. Probably one of the biggest things is just the entirety of junior year of college and we were living together. We helped each other through a bunch of crap that year, but she always made sure things were okay at the end of the day. She always has. Probably always will.

Once And For All: What is one thing you’d like to change about the world?

Can’t people just be nicer? I’ve worked customer service for nearly 5 years and it still astounds me to this day that people are just so mean sometimes. Deciding right off the bat that they don’t like someone just because they don’t appreciate something about their appearance? Treating service people like robots just because they’re wearing a uniform and a name tag? It just makes no sense. I’d love it if people could just appreciate the fact we all share this world, and life’s short enough as it is. Why spend it making others miserable?

Top 5: comic characters

DUDE!!!!!  Din’t actually think I’d get one.  Thanks!!

1.  Deadpool (Wade Wilson) -  My opinion is probably skewed because I’m still high off the movie, but I’m really loving wade.  He’s actually in the uncanny avengers series right now, and I’m enjoying it immensely.  Has a nice dynamic with rogue

2.  Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) - more of a personal attachment to the dork than anything else.  Got back into comics after reading blackest night, thought he was really neat, started reading green lantern: new guardians afterwards.

3.  Peter Parker (Spider-Man) -  I just.  I can’t NOT like the fucking nerd.  He’s always been there, ya know?  Piece of my fricking heart

4.  Harley Quinn - I’m rooting for her.  Got her own apartment building, is currently a landlord, lives with her wonderful girlfriend, talks to a stuffed beaver.  Even got to kick the crap out of her abuser in the latest issue of her series.  You go, Harls.  She’s probably pan, by the way

5.  Starfire (Koriand’r) -  Beautiful piece of sunshine blessing this god forsaken world.  A friend, 10/10

DAISY: How old were you when you had your first kiss?

I think I was 8?  It was with the pastors son in his garage with the lights off.  It was pretty gross.  My real first kiss was when I was 15.  At church in the sanctuary with my then boyfriend.  It was awful.  He almost missed.  Twice.  We don’t speak anymore

LOCUST: What was your favorite book as a child?

Madeline.  I’ve always wanted a house that had ivy growing up the sides since then.

HELICONIA: Do you like when it rains?

Absolutely.  I like it more when it’s foggy and thundering and raining.   That’s my absolute favorite.  Then I don’t feel like a sloth for not going outside and knitting all day.

So @lizziebanner12 and I were talking and I mentioned offhand the potential of a Voltron college AU with shades of Carmilla. Zarkon is the school's evil president who presents a major obstacle to the protagonists (which is still yet to be determined) Each of the generals (Sendak, Prorok, the couple we met in Season 2, etc.) are deans of respective schools on the campus, and use their connections to forward Zarkon's agenda. The Paladins are each in their own paths of education (Lance is Communications, Hunk is culinary, Pidge is comp sci, Kieth history, Allura art) but are all connected through their campus associations. Kieth and Lance are roommates, Hunk and Pidge live together in an apartment near the campus, Shiro and Allura are RAs. Special appearances from the Balmerans, Olkari, Arusians, and others as campus frats and organizations, and of course plenty of shenanigans between the paladins as they get into trouble. I'm starting to think I'd want to write this... does anyone have any thoughts? Think it might work?

Hermione Granger: What is your favorite book, how many times have you read it, and why do you love it?

Well, because I got this question twice I’m going to utilize the fact I have multiple books I adore and can share multiple. Firstly, I’m gonna go with the Harry Potter series since they’re a HUGE part of my childhood and all. I think I’ve read them... at least four times I think. Not sure at this point what the exact number is, but I’ve always loved it for the same reasons most folks do: the characters are lovely, well-written, fantastic lore and world behind it, just overall loveliness. Plus house pride and my deamus bbys and ahhhhhh yesssss.
