(Observations from Chinese fandom idk what it’s like in the English side, also idk translations for some of the names of things)
A lot of blade fans dislike jingliu (hmm perhaps for killing their guy hundreds of times) but I think people forget jingliu was possibly the most direct victim of the incident. She had to kill the cursed dragon made from baiheng’s flesh (I don’t read liuheng fics but I kind of passively ship them because it makes this more knife and more tasty) which basically immediately triggered her mys and drove her insane (altho she was already very old 1000+ by this point) so effectively Dan feng and ying xing caused her death as well, and thus altho she considers herself one of the 3 sinners due to going insane and killing fellow soldiers, you could also consider that to be Dan feng and yingxing’s fault too. From this point on jingliu is dead, and iirc the document in game says the casualty count was in the thousands and I don’t think jingliu killed blade that many times, if you want to calculate it like that.
I’m not a blade 推 he’s just very interesting to me, his suffering fascinates me lol, I’m a jing yuan 推 tho so I suppose I also have complicated feelings about the current, mys jingliu because of the trouble she and luocha did and will bring to xianzhou and thus jing yuan… she really is not herself anymore. The jingliu who taught jing yuan 吾等云骑,如云翳障空,卫庇仙舟 is gone… that jingliu would never use the lives of everyone on luofu as just another means to achieve her goals.
And if you look at blade altho he is probably normal most of the time when he’s not exposed to mys triggering things from his interaction with firefly he seems pretty quite and reserved (altho still cracks jokes which were then heavily memed hhh 点刀哥经典语录:死不了) which is very different from famously arrogant yingxing. That arrogance was probably why he helped Dan feng, for Dan feng he also had to consider this could be the way to save the future of his race but for yingxing I interpret his motivation as helping a friend and the short lived race’s desire to do what no one has done before and leave his mark before he’s gone. Blade probably considers his arrogance as one of the fatal character flaws that led to the disaster. I suppose time both sands down ones edges and wears away everything but the most pure desires and goals, and everything else is in service of that goal. For blade the goal is his eventual death, for jingliu it’s to kill yaoshi, and altho jing yuan hasn’t mys-ed you could say for him it’s all in service of luofu

Chinese Traders Turn to New Routes to Get Much-Needed Coal
The coal shortage in China and India may give a boost to dry bulk shipping as traders look to new sources to plug a growing supply gap. Demand for coal is part of the driving force behind a massive rally in capesize bulker rates, with spot earnings for the vessel class now averaging in the range of $85,000 per day.
China has been grappling with regional power grid stress due to low coal supplies, high energy prices and an ambitious emissions-reduction push. As Chinese factories strive to meet burgeoning Western demand, power consumption has shot up by about 13 percent over the course of the year, putting extra strain on the electrical grid. Local officials have responded by ordering some power-intensive industries to temporarily close up shop or reduce operations.
Part of the energy shortage is self-imposed: due to a diplomatic spat, China has halted purchases of coal from Australia, which was traditionally one of the biggest foreign suppliers to the Chinese market. More than 90 percent of China's coal is produced domestically, but the rest has to be imported, and traders are now looking at alternative sources - including some unconventional options located much further away.
In Zhejiang, a division of provincial power utility Zhejiang Energy found a way to source coal from Kazakhstan. The firm had the coal delivered to the Russian Black Sea port of Kavkaz, loaded aboard a bulker, and shipped all the way to Liuheng, Zhejiang. It was the first shipment of its kind.
Some private traders are stepping up their efforts to buy illicit North Korean coal, according to Daily NK. Though this is a violation of UN sanctions, it has historically been done by shipping the coal to a Russian port and transloading it onto a different vessel, then falsifying the paperwork to disguise its true origins. Daily NK reports that Chinese officials are choosing to turn a blind eye to this trade, as its illegality is less important than the demand for much-needed coal.
Chinese buyers are also turning their gaze further afield, boosting imports from Canada, Russia and the Philippines, according to the Global Times. Canadian exports of coal to China are up by 67 percent year on year, according to the outlet. Still, traders do not expect that these alternative supply chains will be enough to fill the gap.
"Without resuming Australian coal imports, the supply shortage will be here to stay for some time, as it takes time to boost domestic production after nearly five years of output curbs," one Beijing-based trader told Reuters. "The shortage will last at least through the fourth quarter and possibly till after February or March, when the heating season ends."

Over 100 Coal-Laden Ships Lie Idle Off Chinese Ports As Import Restrictions Bite
S&P Global Platts C-flow vessel tracking software showed 102 ships loaded with coal were stationary off the southern and eastern coasts of China Tuesday, up sharply from around 36 in mid-September.
The sharp rise follows the introduction in late August of restrictions on coal imports at several of China’s major ports, including Guangzhou, Xiamen and Zhoushan, according to market sources. The stationary coal ships include 10 that are lying idle in the Zhoushan anchorage, three in the Shanghai regional shipping queue, and two waiting in the Lianyungang offshore queue, according to C-flow data.

Market sources have reported extensive delays and longer queues for ships arriving to discharge seaborne-traded thermal coal at several ports in China. Port authorities, including at Guangzhou, have, however, rejected claims that restrictions have been imposed on the discharge of imported coal at various ports.
S&P Global Platts’ C-flow software can detect and track the location of individual cargo ships, their current status in terms of whether they are stationary or moving, the type of cargo, intended destination and estimated arrival time, and other key operational information.
ZHOUSHAN ANCHORAGE
The 177,800 mt Boston coal ship was waiting at the Zhoushan anchorage point, off the eastern province of Zhejiang, for clearance to enter Liuheng port, joining the Bulk Success, a 176,000 mt ship with the same destination that had been waiting in the Zhoushan queue since October 6, according to C-flow.
Also waiting at the Zhoushan anchorage Tuesday was the Navios Joy, a 181,000 mt cargo ship laden with coal that had an original berthing slot at Zhoushan port for October 18; and the Sunbeam, a 171,000 mt ship, carrying coal that had missed its original estimated arrival time at Liuheng port of October 10.
SHANGHAI QUEUE
The Agios Nikolas, a 57,000 mt coal ship, has been stationary in the Shanghai regional queue since October 22, overdue from its arrival date for Shanghai port of October 20.
Other ships carrying coal cargoes were parked at a number of locations off the coast of South China.
They include the Densa Cobra, a 180,000 mt ship anchored 78 nautical miles off the port of Xiamen that had an overdue arrival time for the port of October 15; and the Giuseppe Bottiglieri, a 175,000 mt ship, with an original arrival time for Xiamen port of October 16.
The small Capesize cargo ship FPMC B 104 with a capacity of 106,000 mt was stationary off the coast of southern China and had an original discharge date for Zhangzhou port of October 25.
Another small Capesize ship, the 99,000 mt Germ Sophia, was stationary 584 nautical miles off China’s southern coast and had been destined to arrive at Haimen port on October 22.
Meanwhile, two ships were waiting in the Luoyuan Bay vessel queue, 140 nautical miles off Ningde in China’s eastern Fujian province, according to Platts C-flow.
They were the Salford Quay, a 57,000 mt ship, with an overdue arrival date for Ningde port of October 19, and the Santa Anna, a 56,000 mt coal ship that has been queuing at the port since October 21.
