:D Just read the chapter/s of the day/s and post your thoughts and feelings about it in under the #3Musketag (as you’ll see used in the tags of this post!) . You don’t have to keep up exactly-- we’re sort of loosely on chapters 14-21 this week,but if you want to cover some older chapters that’s fine!  You don’t have to post about every chapter, either; feel free to post only when you want, or to just comment on other people’s posts-- a lot the fun of a readalong is the conversations, after all!

Are you the originator of Sith Chirrut and Bounty Hunter Baze?! Because if so I was so overwhelmingly inspired that the massive pre-rogueone to post-rogueone fix it I was supposed to be planning has been sidelined by me planning to write fic of that instead. Thank you eternally for the most wonderful inspiration!

No I can’t take the credit for that. While I am the only one that’s written fic for it as far as I know I am not the originator.

It was these two beautiful pieces of fanart, by the lovely and skilled @eabevella, that inspired me to write. So credit should go to her. And please tell her about it, I know that she would love to hear it.

So would I, I’m very much in love with that AU as well. I’m excitedly looking forward to seeing more about this AU that I’m not the author of.

Hey, me and @littlerebellion are still on and off playing P5R and we named ourselves “JOESEPH JOESTAR” for the bants. It has gotten out of hand.

I just wanna share this because I played almost 30 hours of the game like this and It just keeps getting worse and worse

I did the horrible mistake of naming the MC “Da Joker Baby” and I think this lead to to some of the dumbest fucking screenshots I have from the game

I was planning on writing a massive rogue one fix it (and probably will at somepoint) but I've been completely blindsided to write fic of this instead. @littlerebellion this is mostly for you, but this is a D&D story so all may lend their ears.

Apparently the little bro started up a new campaign with a new GM. He’s playing a scourge Aasimar Paladin and complaining about it bitterly because everyone else in the party picked SQUISH.

Like.

There’s a bard with an abundance of Charisma being played by a guy who took a shot every time he rolled a twenty and ended up passed out on the floor with a dog hewing his arm.

There’s a girl playing a range ranger.

And there’s a squishy little sorcerer.

Which means you have a party getting mostly by on Charisma.

“We need a Rogue. Or a meat shield. Please.” He says, radiating light and damage as one does.

I inhale.

“What level?”

“Third.”

“Any races?”

“Depends.”

“Lizardfolk?”

“Oh. Sure.”

“I’ve got this.”

Five dead characters in character creation later because I roll like garbage, Ro takes the dice from me and rolls four 15s, a 9, and a 17 his first shot.

“That’ll work,” I say, because the rest of the party has twice the charisma of a normal man anyway, and meat shield? Okay. Hitpoints then.

So that’s a 15 STR, 15 DEX, 19 CON, 15 INT, 16 WIS, 9 CHA build if you’re switching to Geico.

I then proceed to make...

A Barbarian/Rogue. 2/1

A Brogue if you will.

Your bro.

His name is Canny Brogue.

Now.

The Barbarian class has this useful ability where if you are unarmored you add your dexterity bonus AND your con bonus to your base as an armor class. And you can still use a shield.

A lizard man has natural armor and starts from a 13 instead of a 10 base.

I have a 21 armor class at third level, wearing nothing but my billowing fine Tartan, my shield, and God’s Own Wits He’s given me.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.

A second level Barbarian gets an ability called Reckless Attack, which they choose at the beginning of the turn to basically roll with advantage against everything, as long as everything else rolls with advantage against them.

The Rogue’s sneak attack ability only requires you have advantage on an attack.

As long as I use Reckless Attack every round, I can sneak attack every single turn while bellowing in a Scottish Fashion at the top of my lungs.

(Or. You know. Probably while yelling YOU MESS WITH GECKO, YOU GET THE PECKO because I’m Me.)

So somehow Canny’s gonna be sneaking around beating the plaid out of everything and causing incredible problems for everyone else, while screaming in incomprehensible Brogue and otherwise being a large, scaly Nac Mac Feegle.

Which is why I need the help of all my Scottish friends now, to help me compile a list of Scottish slang and insults to hurl at kobolds, passers by, and anyone who remotely bothers me while my proud tartan dewlap flaps aggressively in the breeze and I do push-ups on a rock to impress ladies.

Because aye, we see the traps, yes, and then we HIT THE TRAPS, yes, because we are proud men on an adventure is that not right my wee lads? YA GOTTA FEEL IT IN YOUR OATS.

....................In the face of my brother probably leaving me for dead after a while, Or the rest of my team drinking themselves into a stupor to cope with the presence of my choice of tank, I’m already creating a backup:

So, a little update

I have been continuing to stream games, and one of the games I got back into is Hellgate London. It’s a game I loved as a teenager, and when Hellgate Global died back in like 2015/2016, I was really sad because I couldn’t play it online anymore. Then I heard about London 2038, a fan run project keeping the game running and more importantly still running off of the dx10 version of the game which is really pretty.

Well after shitposting and streaming, the dev team named a weapon after myself and the lovely @littlerebellion after a season of me running around with what is effectively a chainsaw. It wasn’t meta, but I was having fun and that was something that the devs loved to see. Soon after that they asked me to join the team to help develop the game, and that’s what I do for fun now. 

The important part is that the game is about to have a major patch and now I have to field questions on why we’ve nerfed stuff....and I’m technically a member of the balance team....

If you dear reader want to see a) my face; and b) the game; I now stream it Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30pm UK time (currently this is UTC +1, but after Halloween will be just UTC +0).
