I love how, over the span of fifty years, we got three different shows (well, two shows and a segment from an animated movie) whose producers all looked at a tugboat and decided "this should wear a hat".
Oh, and Little Toot is actually based on a book, so technically the tugboats-with-hats stuff goes back to the 1930s.

Today is Boxing Day, but it is also the birthday of a very special lady!
@lindseynicole1999 and I met in 2021 on Deviantart through our mutual love of Tugs. In that time, she has shown herself to be an excellent artist and also a very sweet and kind person, as well as one of the most thoughtful friends. It absolutely is dreadful luck to have a birthday on any day in December, let alone the day following Christmas, so it is absolutely important to mark the birthday in its own right!
