I thought to make a part two to my previous post. I made each of them a tiny sweater.

Oh god, I miss this, I miss this so much!

Oh, I haven't knitted anything in so long, I haven't crocheted anything in so long, it just feels so awful!

I miss not being serious all the time and filling the time by crafting whatever pops into my head!

But I can't anymore, I never have the time, I must just draw.

The only thing that I do all day is make posts for here, for everyone to watch and enjoy, fo fulfilling the purpose that I was born to achieve.

That is the only thing that I must do; draw, draw and then draw some more, after I'm done drawing I draw something else.

Drawing is not even what I do, crafting is what I do, but I never have the time, and when I have time, why would I waste it on stuff that won't be posted?

Barely anyone even likes my art, I don't even like my art, but drawing is the only do on a daily basis that is acceptable enough to be online because as much thought or creativity, I can just create a sketch and then do what I have been told.

Someone who thinks that they got it figured out might say "Well, B.I., you can just not post on a daily basis and have that saved up time to do other projects." No, that is fucking bullshit, you are all in the circus, you should all be entertained and not wait too long for tricks, what clown would I be if I did that?

The loyal customer paid with their hard-earned money to go to the circus, the least they deserve is to watch the clown make some jokes, and that might require it breaking its foot with a bear trap and crying in front of the whole audience.

Is it all an act? Is it genuine? Even I don't know!

i think people's takes on jev being this like thousand year old creatura are fascinating and fit even my interpretation of his character and place in the story (as like. a representation of the setting at large. an archaic force being shoved into a simulation/loop/machine. cosmis horror kinda shit) but i also think it's 1. funnier 2. scarier 3. more emotionally scarring to imagine him as like. a 30, 40, 50 year old man. just a quirky little guy. he had a childhood, maybe he got picked up by seam as an urchin and they were a travelling magic act and clownery and judy n punch duo and they stole apples from the market and he climbed trees w his little paws before someone made him wear shoes. he was a brash teenager and he played the accordion and kept all of his trinkets in a little chest he used to sleep in. seam made his suits, from his own crayon drawings. he was a middle aged man disenchanted with his work and he sought shelter from the boredom in bothering others. and he ran away so many times and he slept outside and he helped seam make their own beer and mead and they still played the accordion and the hurdy-gurdy together. isn't it scarier to make him a normal man? who turns into what we see? doesn't that hurt more doesn't that make his character even deeper. he was just like you and this means That can happen to you too, grounding stuff like that is like one of the basic rules of horror. and then he just goes to jail they straight up lock a mentally ill guy with all those horrors in the basement - not an old-as-time-itself demon, not a savage beast, but. a man. jevil russian sleep experiment au.

JacobLOL and Kirb Presents: The Chaotic Route

*Our story begins in Equestria. Discord, The master and Lord of Chaos is up to his usual chaotic tricks annoying anyone and everyone all day long. He made the Apple family's orchard come to life and ran away from the farm. He made Twilight Sparkle's books fly around at such a fast speed that they all eventually knocked Rainbow Dash of the sky. He stuck Rarity's Mannequins onto the ceiling and he even covered Pinkie Pie's own home with a chocolate flood.

Anyway, eventually, the complaining eventually got so out of hand, or hoof, that Fluttershy had no other choice but to confront her friend.*

Fluttershy (rather annoyed): "Discccoord. What have you been up to?"

Discord: "Hoho! Why would you possibly want to know that Fluttershy? It's been pretty lacking, I must say."

Fluttershy: "Well, that's not what everypony else is saying. They're all coming up to me and complaining about the stuff you've done!"

Discord: *scoffs* "Like what?"

*Fluttershy then replied with all the antics that were mentioned earlier.*

Discord (awkwardly): "Ohhh right, that."

Fluttershy: "Yes. That."

Discord: "Oh, come on, Fluttershy! At least I didn't hurt anyone!"

Fluttershy: "No, you didn't directly. But you've could've cost both Rarity and Pinkie Pie their jobs! What would've happened then?"

Discord (muttering): "I wouldn't mind, I think I did worst to Applejack."

Fluttershy: "What was that?!"

Discord (realising): "Um, nothing!"

*Discord gave Fluttershy a big grin, and Fluttershy sighed.*

Fluttershy: "Look, Discord, I understand why you need to be chaotic. It's a part of your nature, and it keeps you alive."

Discord: "Why thank you for being so thoughtful, Flutter-"

Fluttershy: "HOWEVER... Surely, there's a better way for you to use your magic without getting on anyone's nerves."

Discord: "Hmpf! You think you know so much about being a Draconequus, don't you?"

Fluttershy: "I try my best, Discord. I try because I care about you and I know that you're now reformed, but don't forget, we do still have the Elements of Harmony, and even though it would give me a great amount of guilt, I'd have to seal you back into stone again if you were to ever go too far again."

*Fluttershy sighed as her eyes darted towards the ground. After a few awkward seconds, Discord eventually spoke up.*

Discord: "I think some ponies just need to accept that I'm still going to be somewhat chaotic."

Fluttershy: "That's not the point, Discord."

Discord (rather frustrated): "Then what is it then, Fluttershy?!!"

Fluttershy: "It's about me making sure you don't end up on the wrong side of things again, and it's also so you quit pestering my friends!"

Discord: "Oh, come on now, Fluttershy. You know they're used to it by now."

Fluttershy: "Well, maybe they are, but that doesn't make it any less annoying for them."

*Discord pouted.*

Discord: "You ponies are no fun sometimes."

Fluttershy: "It's not that we aren't fun, or that we don't enjoy your antics from time to time. It's just that there's a time and place for them. There's needs to be order at least at some points of the day. Y'know, like order."

Discord: "You mean the one thing I truly go against? You ponies really care about your harmony, don't you?"

Fluttershy: "I mean, it's been around our culture for so long, it's bound to."

Discord (muttering): "Right..."

*Discord lowered his head.*

Discord: "You do everything you can to fit in, and yet you still can't."

Fluttershy: "Discccoord. Don't be like that. I'm your friend and so is everyone else."

Discord: "But you don't know what it's like to be me and unless I actually turn you into a draconequus, which I don’t even know if that's possible, you'll never know."

*Discord then lifted he head, as he looked into sky.*

Discord: "That's why I enjoyed being around that jester, Jevil. He, too, was a creature of chaos. He understood me and my own struggles for freedom. Sadly, I haven't really heard much from them since I was kicked out of his little group while you and the others were fighting them."

Fluttershy: "Do you miss Jevil then?"

*Discord sighed.*

Discord: "Yes."

Fluttershy: "Well, why don't you try making up with Jevil? That could help make you feel better!"

Discord: "I suppose I could, if I really wanted to... Then again, the supposed 'Dark World' seems pretty fun too..."

*Suddenly, Discord gasped as a light bulb went off.*

Discord: "Sweet Celestia, that's it, Fluttershy!!! I know where I can go to continue being my chaotic self without interfering with the ponies duties! Oh, thank you, Fluttershy!"

*Discord hugged a rather confused Fluttershy.*

Fluttershy: "Umm... You're welcome?"

Discord: "Now, let us set forth for The Dark World!"

Fluttershy: "Wait, wha-"

*Discord, with Fluttershy in his arms, summoned a door that shun with a bright light onto the other side and with a now confident smile on his he jumped through the said, all while Fluttershy was tagging along with him.*

*Meanwhile, it was yet another day for Kris and her friends. That being a day of boring classes with Alphys and Berdly being annoying. Except for the fact that Berdly hasn't been seen at all for several days. Not that it bothered Susie or Kris, really. In fact, they couldn't really care less.*

*Anyway, everyone was pretty bored. There was nothing fun to do, and Kris, Noelle, and Susie could really only tolerate Sans for so long.* So, bored out of their minds, they decided to head to The Dark World, where our story truly begins... Once our teams switched outfits and found themselves in Castle Town, they were greeted by Lancer.*

Lancer: "Susie!"

*Lancer rode up to Susie and the others with a big smile on his face.*

Socks was a Lightner living in Hometown with their younger brother Buttons , who went to the town school. They were very close, having no other family still with them.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, one day Socks passed away (due to undecided as of yet reasons) , and Buttons was devastated.

Buttons made a doll to remember Socks by, bringing it everywhere with him. One day after bringing it to school, Buttons forgot the doll in the unused classroom with the scattered playing cards.

And after this, a very confused sock doll cat woke up in the Card Kingdom, in the Field of Hopes and Dreams outside Seam’s shop; with no memories on how they got there, or in fact any memories before landing in the Dark World at all.

They also found themself to be incorporeal, anything more than a light touch just phasing through them.

Completely unknown to Socks, although their doll body was fully a Darkner’s, the memories Buttons had of them when they alive manifested into a Lightner’s soul.

(Also as a side-effect of this, Socks had a very flat personality of appearing happy and optimistic all the time with a streak of paranoia, as that was what Buttons remembered of them)

Seam was just as confused as Socks when they appeared outside their shop, but was okay with letting the monster stay with them for a little while.

They got to know each other, Seam taking on a kind of older sibling role towards Socks. Seam was the first person who Socks fully revealed themself to, confessing their memory loss and fear of what they forgot, and what could have happened that made them forget.

Seam also reveals to Socks about Jevil, and Socks would hang outside Jevil’s cell and talk to him, Socks not minding Jevil’s confusing way of speech and the two of them grew to appreciate eachother’s company.

And one day, when they were alone in the Fields, Socks found a strange door with rainbow flames radiating from within it.

The door disappeared once they stepped through it, leaving them stranded in an unfamiliar alleyway full of bright lights, unfamiliar Darkners and… trash?

In terms of weird Deltarune theories/predictions, how do you feel about the Empty Disk or Loaded Disk having uses outside of Chapter 2?

I considered this when the chapter first came out, actually. Alright. Stream of consciousness time. I would say... It is a longshot. There's a high chance it'll just drop out of your inventory at the start of the next chapter, and it's kind of a secret that would require you hop around chapters to get everything. Which, though cool, might be a little tedious in practice so I don't know is a thing that will be something Deltarune goes for. But, it's a very interesting line of thought, so we can consider this First, since it's on my mind: This is not the only Spamton item that may have a use. From the recent ARG thing, there is a page, Noelle notes a secret in the "Maze in the Ice Palace" she found, as a kid. To praprhase: In Dragon Blazers, there is an in-universe glitch where you can become trapped in this maze; you are supposed to get a character to guide you through, or else it is one of those repeating zelda mazes. But, there was a route Noelle found that led to a locked door, but there was no key you could get for it. But, you can get a key, can't you? If we consider this foreshadowing for a future area - Probably a place with TV static - then we might be able to get in only by smuggling in the Keygen. The Keygen, after all, might generate any key we need, based on a pun in it's name. (I've actually seen something similar to this done in a game before; Magi Nation. You can smuggle a key from the final dungeon into the menu, which you can run around on, in order to unlock a secret New Game Plus feature. That game has been on my mind, of late.) But, as for the Loadeddisk and Empty Disc? Consider the following: You can acquire the stuff from Jevil so long as you have EVER defeated him, even in another save, and it seems implied that this will remain true of every super-boss. So, you can almost certainly defeat Spamton, get his item, and then get that item in a later save slot while smuggling out one of his items. So you don't need to beat Spamton or Jevil in any given file to get their crystal and items. Additionally, you actually get an easter egg if you try to use it on the Mannequin with the dress. Getting this locks you out of the mannequin, and doesn't even do anything. So, that's a weird reaction, and one that may be meaningful, and may - if we chase this line of thought - foreshadow other purposes Thus, it may be plausible that this leads to -something- even if it is unlikely I think it is a long shot, but is possible, that some really strange secrets would involve hopping around and holding onto items for later, based around these factors. If explored, they could give you a leg up in replays; a sort of 'universal bonus' regardless of other factors. If the game commits to this, and hides obscure-as-hell secrets everywhere like this? Well, those boss items transferring among saves, that would be a way to streamline replays. If you undertsand what I am saying. And, the empty disk and loadeddisk specifically? Now, this is a reach built upon another reach build upon assumptions. So it's probably not going to happen. ... But, the next world is entertainment themed. It seems to be the living room, then, but might contain the whole house. The whole bottom floor is kind of... Open-concept. But say we get to Kris' room? Consider: The most notable thing on that computer in there is Asriel's weird game where the final boss is this angel-y thing with rainbow wings. So... What if we can bring it there, and insert Spamton into that unfinished boss? Or if that computer has some relationship to Spamton - Say, if that rainbow-winged boss is like, Archangel Michael, the holy-themed boss of Asriel's terrible high-school RPG project? An alternate possibility would be Mettaton, who Spamton has... Some thematic relationship toward. He considers himself some kind of nobody, and is distraught about that, never being able to become the star he wanted to be in Undertale. That parallels Spamton's fall from grace, and of course there is Spamton Neo referencing Mettaton Neo, etc. Finally... Tasque manager? They are both weak against the same items, they are both optional palace bosses, they both seem to know about aspects of the Dark World (Tasque Manager mentioned Jevil,) and both have the rare ability to manipulate the shape of the battle box. Tasque Manager embodies Order to Jevil's Chaos, which implies a connection to... Something. If anyone can sort out Spamton, it's her, no? But, that's all chasing a trail. I don't think anything beyond a few easter eggs are likely. Though, with the fandom he has developed, perhaps it will be possible to recruit him for your town if you hold the loadeddisk. That, I think, feels most likely - No huge arc, but a little bonus for people who actually thought to do this

In a realm where the vibrant hues of joy once danced in the air, the Enchanted Abandon now lay shrouded in the whispers of shadows. A place where the laughter of children had turned to the chilling Echoes of an abandoned wonderland, it was here that Gutsy, a living clown doll known as a Jevil, Roamed. His heart, once filled with the glee of a thousand smiles, now harbored a longing for the rare human companionship, a yearning that drove him to the edge of this forsaken realm.

Gutsy's eyes, those spiral orbs of wonder, had seen the world turn from light to dark. He wandered the desolate paths of the Enchanted Abandon, his heart's spiral eyes dreaming of the day a human might stumble into his life, a being as rare and precious as the tales of old.

In the quiet of the forest, he found such a creature, laid in the grass like a precious gem, still alive and waiting to be claimed. They have fallen asleep in a napping bed of whisper flowers

With a gentle yet firm grip, Gutsy cradled the human in his arms, his heart racing with the thrill of his impending treasure. He scurried back to his humble abode, a sanctuary amidst the chaos of the abandoned wonderland.

Sammy doesn't know what happened to her. One minute she was just walking through the local children's garden by the library. And the next thing she knows she's falling, a hole opening up under her.

The fall was a doozy. And it reminded her of Alice in wonderland almost, but like a slightly creepy version? With dark undertones and a slight chill to the world. She assumes it's a messed up dream, that she's hit her head.

Sammy has roamed for hours before she met some talking flowers. And they had invited her to take a nap with them as the forest sang a lullaby. And Sammy may be twenty-five, but with everything that happened. She assumed a nap wouldn't hurt, she thinks it's funny to be tired in a dream. But she settles down as the forest hums a soft and haunting tune. And she's asleep in no time.

Gutsy carries the woman to his small little cottage in the middle of the woods. It's colorful and cute and surrounded by non talking but rainbow flowers. A few plastic flamingos are scattered about too.

As Gutsy carried the sleeping beauty towards his home, a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. This could be the one, he thought to himself, the one who would change everything. He couldn't help but feel hopeful, even after all these years of solitude.

Entering his cottage, he gently placed the human on his bed, watching as they began to stir awake. Their eyelids fluttered open, revealing eyes that were both curious and afraid. But there was something else there too, something that caught Gutsy off guard; exhaustion.

"Welcome to my home," he said with a warm grin, his tone playful yet comforting. "I hope you find everything you need here."

Sammy blinked several times, taking in her surroundings before focusing on the clown-like figure standing before her. Her brow furrowed in confusion as she tried to piece together what had happened.

"Where am I?" she asked hesitantly, sitting up on the edge of the bed.

"Why, you are in my kingdom, dearest," Gutsy replied with a bow of his head. "I am Gutsy, the ruler of this land. And you, my dear, are very much welcome here."

Sammy looked around warily, taking in the bright colors and odd decor. "This...this is definitely a trip," she muttered under her breath.

"Indeed it is," Gutsy agreed, chuckling softly. "But don't worry, I won't let anything bad happen to you while you're here."

Sammy nods quietly. The last thing she remembered was falling asleep. She didn't even know if they had been anything actually dangerous in the woods. "Thank you." She finally says.

Gutsy knows that the only thing his human would have had to worry about is her... Well, everything, she smells so sweet and soft and he just wants to burry himself in her and keep her warm and full forever. His hands are hiding behind his back as he watches her awkwardly sip the tea as she looks around his room in curiosity.

"You need a bath Prescious." Gutys finally says. Hes hoping bathing will dull her scent. Cause he already knows he's not sleeping tonight, he's gonna be busy keeping his own hands and tentacles in check. Or attempting at least, control wasn't his strong point.

Sammy frowns a little. "I... I don't have spare clothes though?" She mumbles looking over her dirt covered clothes. She would need something else to wear while her clothes get cleaned. And that thought sends her into a tailspin of anxiety.

"Oh, don't worry about that," Gutsy assured her with a wave of his hand. "I have plenty of extra clothes for you to borrow until yours are dry." He paused for a moment before adding with a twinkle in his eye, "And besides, it's better to be clean anyway!"

Smiling reassuringly, Gutsy led Sammy to the bathroom where he had prepared a warm bath filled with fragrant bubbles and rose petals. Handing her a soft, fluffy towel, he encouraged her to relax and enjoy the soak while he went to fetch some fresh clothes for her.

As Sammy slipped into the steaming water, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Something about this place felt...off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Shrugging it off as mere paranoia brought on by fatigue and disorientation, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to sink into the soothing waters.

Meanwhile, Gutsy returned with an armful of colorful garments: a frilly pink skirt and top for her to wear during her stay. Grinning widely, he watched as Sammy emerged from the bathroom, admiring how well she fit into his world.

"There you go, my dear," he said cheerfully, handing her the outfit. "Try these on while I finish preparing our dinner."

Sammy took the clothes silently, wondering why she felt so nervous despite being so exhausted. Putting on the outfit, she followed Gutsy back into the main room where he had set up a simple meal. As they ate together in relative silence, Gutsy couldn't help but marvel at how perfect she looked in his clothes – like a true princess in his kingdom.

Finally breaking the silence, Gutsy cleared his throat and spoke up. "So, tell me more about yourself, Sammy." His voice was gentle yet probing, almost as if he were trying to unravel her secrets layer by layer.

Sammy quietly talks. She tells him of her job in a fast food restaurant kitchen, her likes of gardens but her inability to keep a plant alive. Just simple things.

Gutsy sits and waits for Sammy to tell him more about herself. But she she feels awkward talking about herself. So she hesitantly ask Gutsy ask about himself.

She finds out Gutsy is something called a Jevil, he loves tea, the place she's ended up is called the Enchanted Abandon which is like wonderland mixed with a amusement park, and Gutsy let's slip he has a sensitive nose. And Sammy's cheeks turn pink, thinking she smelled bad and that's why he wanted her to bathe.

It's not though, Gutsy wanted her to clean up for the sake of the sweet scent she was oozing due to her time of the month approaching. But he doesn't tell her anything about that.

"So....how long until my clothes are clean?" Sammy finally ask as she watches Gutsy fiddle with a old record player. Gutsy shrugs, "Well Princess, you rolled around in so much dirt that it's stained some spots. So probably a whole while yet." Gutsy lies.

He likes Sammy in the soft frilly outfit. She's adorable for a adult, and makes a cute princess. But he can tell she's uncomfortable with the lack of undergarment and how snug the clothing is on her.

Gutsy listened intently as Sammy shared bits and pieces of her life story, his heart swelling with each revelation. Even though he knew nothing about the outside world, he could tell that she had lived a fairly ordinary life thus far.

At her question about the laundry, he smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, darling," he said with a wink. "Your clothes will be fine. Now then," he continued, changing the subject deftly, "are you ready for some entertainment?"

Reaching over to the record player, he carefully selected an album before placing it on the turntable. As the first notes of a jaunty tune filled the air, Gutsy held out his hand to Sammy and led her towards the center of the room.

"Shall we dance, my lady?" he asked gallantly, offering her a slight bow.

Sammy hesitated for a moment before accepting his invitation, stepping onto the wooden floorboards beside him. Despite her initial reluctance, she soon found herself lost in the rhythm of the music and the joyful expression on Gutsy's face.

They danced together under the twirling lights of his homemade disco ball, their bodies moving in sync to the beat as they laughed and swayed under the hypnotic spell of the tunes. For a brief moment, it felt as if they were the only two people in the world – isolated from reality and lost in each other's company.

As the song came to an end, Gutsy pulled Sammy close and whispered softly in her ear, "Let's make some beautiful memories together, shall we?" His eyes sparkled with anticipation as he leaned in closer than he intended, his hot breath tickling her neck.

Sammy blushed deeply at his words, unsure whether to be flattered or frightened by his advances. Yet somehow, she found herself drawn to this strange but charismatic clown-like creature who seemed determined to show her a good time.

Sammy still has the faint haze buzzing in her head that this is a dream. So what's the harm in indulging? And it gives her a ridiculous excuse to get out of the frilly costume that makes her feel like a little girl.

Gutsy is trailing kisses along Sammy's neck, and he nips at a sensitive spot that makes her breath hitch. "Would this be a important moment to mention I get overwhelmed easily? And that I'm stupidly sensitive?" She blurts out when she's basically squished against his chest.

The noise of excitement Gutsy makes concerns Sammy, she feels like she probably shouldn't have told him that. But with how easily overwhelmed she gets with everything in general. She figured it would be safer to blurt it out now before he got mad at her for stopping anything halfway through. "Cause I'm guessing this is going on a very not PG friendly content with the way your hands are crawling up my shirt!" She squeaks as Gutsy trails cold but soft fingers along her stomach. "And I have a horrible habit of tapping out when I get overwhelmed, babbling when I'm nervous, and I have definitely lost a few boyfriends along the way cause I think I look ugly when naked... " She babbles nervously, her voice hitches and little sounds slip out between words as Gutsy takes his time with her.

Sammy continues to blurt out random things and her insecurities as Gutsy pulls her onto his lap. "Do you want me to stop?" Gutsy ask softly. Sammy's giving of a mix of arousal and anxiety.

She hesitantly shakes her head no. "Just... Just wanted to let you know what you're getting into..." She mumbles.

Listening intently to Sammy's confession, Gutsy couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for her. He understood the fear of vulnerability and self-consciousness all too well. However, he also sensed an underlying desire in her words – a longing for connection and intimacy that resonated deep within him.

But they won't take anyone already in a home. And since Sammy is safe with him in his bed, and definitely smells like him, they have nothing to fear.

Gutsy smiled softly as Sammy nestled closer to him, her warmth seeping into his skin. He could feel her heart racing, but it was calming down now that she was safe in his arms.

"Shhh," he hummed soothingly, running his fingers through her hair. "Everything's alright, my dear. You're safe with me."

Sammy eventually drifted back to sleep, her breathing evening out as she relaxed into his embrace. Gutsy couldn't help but marvel at how quickly she had fallen under his spell; it was as if she had been waiting for someone like him to come along all along.

As the storm raged outside, he held on tightly to the feeling of contentment that washed over him. This was what love felt like – protecting and cherishing someone else above all else. He couldn't imagine ever letting her go now.

whooo! i finally drew some things for this au im DEEP into. based HEAVILY on @babbybones‘ “dark princes” theory and “wrong prince” au, this is a set of alternate universes in which the secret bosses take the place of ralsei and instead ralsei becomes a secret boss. based on the theory jevil and spamton were “prototype ralseis”, originally contacted by gaster to become guides, but failed to meet the requirements.

the fifth and sixth images depict the party’s varying reactions to the sycthescarf. the scythescarf is a weapon only equippable by susie, and she will always say “comfy and deadly. nice.” and it gives her +4 attack and + 6 magic. when trying to equip it to kris, susie will wonder if it just purred at kris. jevil or spamton will also comment on it. jevil says: “are you happy now?” and spamton says “did you finally get [all you could ask for and more]?” when trying to equip it to either jevil or spamton, jevil will say: “ow, stop strangling me! i’m sorry, sorry!” and spamton will say “ouch, [cursing], stop it! no [strangling] allowed!”

the seventh and eighth images depict the party’s varying reactions to the horned headband, a piece of armor equippable by all. it will always give +5 def and heal every turn, but its cosmetic effect changes between characters. when kris equips it, their nostalgia value goes up, and susie will comment on how close they are holding it to themself. jevil will say “old friends... ?” whereas spamton will say “oh, were you already [friend request accepted]?”. when equipping it to susie, she will say “figure i’d grow these some day”, and her bad idea value will go up. when equipping it to jevil he will say “two pairs of horns, double the mischief, uaheehehe!” and his bad idea value will go up. when equipping it to spamton instead, he will say “play as a rebellious half angel half devil in this award winning rpg!” and his coolness value will go up.

  “The Shadow Mantle...?” Seam leaned over the counter to gaze at the shimmering, barely-there mantle, tattered and pooling like liquid in Kris’ hands. “You found it? You TRULY found it...?”

The keep let out a bark of a laugh that made Kris jump slightly. “And here I thought you wouldn’t make it...! How you Lightners keep surprising me.”

  Seam settled back, fond, and beckoned with a velvet paw. “May I take a look?”

  Kris carefully passed the Shadow Mantle over the counter, perhaps a bit regretful to part with it - Seam had taken the last few crystals without giving them back, after all.

  “What a wonder. What a wonder...” Seam smoothed the cape down, noting how it fluttered ever so slightly, how it sparkled like just a little bit of the night sky... how the lanterns hanging about them swung just a little faster as they came closer to its power. “...Was it a challenge, dear hero?”

  After a beat, Kris nodded furiously.

  “It must have been.” Seam set the mantle on the counter. “Your glimmering hope... It is truly something remarkable, y’know. Hee hee... It still won’t be enough, it still won’t be, but...”

  Kris stared at Seam, silent from under their bangs and their Dealmaker.

  “Would you like some socks?” Seam asked.

  “LET ME SEE, LET ME SEE,” chanted the Devilsknife, twisting and whirling along Susie’s shoulder to peer into the party’s pocket.

  “Hey! Back off!!” Susie swatted the Devilsknife away from Ralsei.

  “U-um, that’s not necessary, JEVIL,” Ralsei added sternly, poking his head out from where he was hiding behind his scarf. “You... you chose to be the Lightners’ ally, didn’t you? That means, if Susie wants you to calm down, you do it... okay...? And it’s just a - it’s just a crystal! It’s really nothing important, except to Seam.”

  “...” said Susie.

  But the Devilsknife seemed to agree with him, as it settled back, leaning comfortably against the fabric of Seam’s shop. The three of them were outside, patiently waiting for Kris.

  “...IS THERE ANYTHING WRONG WITH A LITTLE SIGHTSEEING, SIGHTSEEING?” the Devilsknife asked after a moment, grinning enormously at Ralsei. “WE’RE IN-BETWEEN! IT HURTS NONE, NONE!”

  “Jevil, it might hurt YOU,” Susie muttered, shifting against the wall so she could look at him. “...didn’t you see what happened with...”

  “I’VE SEEN IT,” the Devilsknife said. “I’VE SEEN IT, UNCEASING!! IT’S KNITTED TO MEMORY. IT’S BURNED INTO THE HOLLOW EYES.”

  Susie’s own eye twitched. “Um, look-”

  “You’re making Susie uncomfortable,” Ralsei interrupted, glaring.

  “Ralsei!” Susie sat up. “C’mon, dude. We talked about this...”

  Ralsei looked down, fiddling with his sleeves - newly knitted upon with Kris and Toriel’s help, in whorls and swirls of woolen rainbow colors. “...You’re making me... uncomfortable.”

  With a flash and a spin, the Devilsknife disappeared, back into the palm of Susie’s hand.

  Susie took Ralsei’s hand. “...You look... tired.”

  “Well-” Ralsei rubbed underneath his eyeglasses. “Well, maybe I am tired.”

  “Kris’ll get that you need to rest, okay?” Susie thumbed up towards Ralsei’s Castle, which was already speckled with a little more life than it’d been a night before. “We can... go to your room.”

  “N-no-! Susie, that’s really not necessary-”

  “We’re going to your room!!” Susie hoisted Ralsei up; Ralsei let out a squeak of surprise. “Or my room, or Lancer’s, or whatever! You’re gonna rest, okay??”

  “And they’re gone,” Seam murmured as the sounds of Susie and Ralsei ambience faded away.

  The keep lifted a paw.

  With a flicker, there the great Devilsknife was, upon Seam’s pawpad - already dancing from it to the back wall, to the shelves, to the setup where a Spookysword used to be. And there it slotted itself in, and rattled its teeth into sleep.

  Seam smiled at Kris (who was absolutely loaded with colorful socks, by the way). “Are you going to tell? Oh, but then - hee hee, who would you tell??”

  Kris, after a moment of silence, thumbed towards their chest.

  “Oh, do they like it? Do they think it’s funny?”

  Kris nodded. Paused. Shook their head.

  “Well, no matter what, send them my dearest regards!! ...I think that’s all for today.” Seam gently shooed Kris towards the entrance. “Go on, go on! Your mother is surely antsy, waiting up for you. Good luck today...! All three of you!!”

  Kris looked at Seam for a moment more, and then walked out, letting the tent flap shuff closed behind them.

  “May I ask what you’re doing here?” Seam added to the other in the room.
