Random Headcanon: Been a headcanon for a long while but it hasn’t come up and I’m of a mood- Manny doesn’t eat pork or wild game due to trichinophobia. It doesn’t plague his every waking moment or anything, but he avoids certain foods and non-food animal products (irrationally in some cases, don’t hand the boy an antler that didn’t come off an Ossy and be ready to prove it if it did), is a little paranoid about eating new foods, in new places, or made by new people, and while panic attacks are rare since he got out of his preteens Does Not Take Well to being exposed to anything potentially related to trichinosis.

Remember everybody, just because a documentary is educational and doesn’t seem inappropriate does not mean you shouldn’t give it a once over before letting your child watch it. Especially if it’s about food.
