A/N: With the rise (and almost end) of a beautifully chaotic season 6 of LITG, I’ve been thinking about writing again after roughly 4 long years. And I’ve finally found the motivation again (with the help of the LITG discord and @rebelrayne specifically bullying encouraging me into just biting the bullet already. Thanks for that, girls). My skills might be a little rusty and this is actually my first time writing smut, it’s like Writing Virginity 2: Electric Boogaloo over here, so please forgive any stale and stilted sentences. Buckle up, buckeroos, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

LiTG S9: Vol X Ep. 28-30

Mr Love Island was interesting… obviously I chose Jude to win, so he won and picked me for the date 😅

Finn saying he likes me again… I turned him down again, and then he said something like “well there’s still time” blah blah blah… dude. I. Do. Not. Want. You. 🙄

The date was cute. Glad for the alone time.

Hamish confessing again as well… can’t wait for when I’m actually on his route, but for now I’m turning him down again…

Movie night was meh… Stefan turning out to be a bit shady too. We already knew that with Uma. None of the girls this season have been as likable as previous seasons so all of them are 🤷‍♀️

I might have finally hit my limit with the love bombing LIs… seeing the clips of Jude just gushing over my MC is cute but also a bit whatever at this point.

I’m not surprised Zeph is staying at all. And honestly I do not find him attractive at all so the other girls can fawn all over him. My season 6 MC did waaaaayyyyy better with Andy 🥰

This season really isn’t blowing me away like I was hoping… perhaps they rushed into it a bit too fast…

litg characters I'd cast in romcoms

When Harry Met Sally: Seb as Harry!! Then Genevieve as his ex, Tom as MC's (Sally's) ex, Nicky as Seb's best friend, Elladine as MC's best friend

I actually have this all sorted how this would work out but my post got deleted 😭

Notting Hill: Jin as Hugh Grant's character (forgot his name lol) because in my head he's history nerd so like just imagine him in cozy sweaters okay. He's got that wacky roommate whose name I have also forgotten and naturally if we had to pick from S8, Liam, but I also think Jamal would be a fun pick (make the roommate less wacky and more just fun and wild though). The other version of this is Jake as as the main character with his roommate Tim.

Legally Blonde (and I'm going based off the musical): Literally only here because I know I can cast the lawyers, like clearly Suresh as Warner (and oh lean heavily on the implication that he cheated on MC while they were dating) and Blake or Marisol as Vivienne (I like her being cut throat but still looking for love). I'd really like Hari as Emmett because they have a backstory of working hard for their dream and would have a fun banter with the main character without being overly cheery and also is very competitive when needs to be although may be an underdog, but lowkey could also be anyone that has the very grounded boy next door vibe so like Tyler, Rohan, Jake, James, and Lewie are also good picks imo. The other sorority girls needs to include Chelsea, Thabi, basically any of MC's besties (...minus Amelia). It's hard to think of anyone as Paulette because she's an older character and everyone in the game is pretty young but we can further my Angie x Cora agenda and have it be Angie talking about her lost love and then in comes the hot deliverywoman, Cora. She also has like sage advice vibes when she's in the villa sometimes so I think that works.

She's All That: Gary as the main guy. Eddie as his shitty best friend. I don't know why but this came so quickly to me I'm not sure I'd even have to explain but like Gary gives off cool guy / player vibes but I'd also see him absolutely get into or at least support whatever weird artsy stuff his girlfriend is into and have a character arc and all that.

While You Were Sleeping: the OG "I fell in love with your brother while you were away" story, so clearly Ozzy as Peter, Marshall as the brother, Grace as the girl Ozzy's actually dating

How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days: Because I've already said Gary for a different romcom, I'm inclined to have the suave ladies man esque character be Will or Youcef. I also think an evolved Suresh or Finn or Mason or Levi could work. Often I forget about her but I think Lulu would be a fun whatever Kathryn Hahn's character's name is.

A Cinderella Story (the Hilary Duff version): I think the fandom's go to "I don't wanna do what my dad says" character may be Lucas but I want to give Oliver a chance as the sweet lead even though I remember nothing about his backstory in game. MC's best friend can be someone a little dorky and the only person coming to mind right now is Felix.

Ten Things I Hate About You: Again, a reformed Finn could've been so good. Instead, we're going for mysterious and brooding so I think Joyo is a good choice for Patrick. Then to continue the streak of me remembering S7 characters, I think Raf could be a good Cameron because he's got that innocence and silliness that works. Then we need the friend that gives Raf an explanation of how things work and I could see that going to Andy because he's a little silly and dorky but mostly pretty confident (slightly different vibe from the character but that's fine). Other option, Bruno. In the movie, I believe he also ends up with Kat's best friend, who I just remember being very confident and alternative vibes so I think Najuma, Cora, Bella, or Lottie for her. We also need Kat's sister Bianca, and that could be easy and I say it's Amelia, or we could pick a tolerable option like Bea. There's also the guy Bianca initially has a crush on, and dare I say we pick Toby?? Just a character that's full of nothing. Or it could just be someone pretty like Levi or someone rich and an asshole like Miles or Jasper. All I remember about Bianca's bestie is that she backstabs her at the end and since fusebox hates women that could be a number of characters but my pick is Sophie or Erikah.

I could go on forever so I must I choose to stop now before I get carried away 🤣

(Puts on tinfoil hat) It’s a conspiracy to hide all the ILITW/ILB content. Prepare for more Li’s with the names Tom, Stacey, Parker, Andy etc..

I’m honestly upset because Noah was never an actual LI so content was already not the easiest to come by, plus the tag was also used by LItG players, though it could still be counted on to be primarily Noah Marshall and even though my MC’s gonna romance Noah Harris because I’m already going 👀, I’m probably gonna end up unfollowing the Noah x MC tag because it’s not the Noah I want to see all that content for.

I would be seriously annoyed if they started pulling that bs with all the other LIs. I mean seriously, how difficult is it to come up with different names? If they named the Harris kid Noah because they don’t actually have an LI named that (even though Noah Marshall still has a sizable fan base for a non-LI), what’s the excuse for Ava, an actual LI? There isn’t one. It’s gonna get so confusing browsing through the tags to find the right content now, because most people just tag “[first name] x MC” instead of “[first name last name] x MC”. I mean, I alternate between using those two ways, but it’s not how people generally tag, so no matter what, people who like the ILitW characters will miss out on already limited content.

And I swear, the day they name another LI Andy, I will throw hands, so PB better keep my man’s name out of their mouths

Andy had always had passions.

Passions for life, for love, for his work.

No one ever understood it, but the animals did. Day in and day out, the animals he worked with returned the passion he gave to his work with their own, loving him for his care as if he were their owner. Those same animals never cared anywhere near as much for the short lived receptionists they ran through- one complained about the dog drool she got covered in, another hated the cat hair, one always seemed to get nipped at by the birds.

Andy assumed he would never find someone that had the passion for anything he did.

And then Isabella literally stumbled through the door of his clinic, roller skates strapped to her feet and leashes in hand.

Andy hadn’t actually caught sight of her at first, dropping to his knees in the lobby and letting the familiar dogs lap at his face, “Buster! Quincy! Jazz, Mario! What are you doing here, you good boys!?”

Isabella giggled, stumbling onto the rubber stoppers of her skates, only for the pups to keep pulling and sending her falling into him on the floor.

Ordinarily, in Andy’s experience, there would be embarrassment.

But Isabella was smiling brightly, laughing like anything these pups did could never be wrong, “You must be Doctor Andy.”

Sparkling in her eyes was something he always saw sparkling in his.

The passion, the joy, the zeal for life!

So when she said she was there to apply for his open receptionist job, he hired her without a second thought.

Andy was amazed by her from the first day.

She roller bladed through the office, never slowing down to change into shoes. When the dogs drooled on her, she didn’t flinch away from giving them affection and attention. He offered her a lint roller for the cat hair and she waved him off, embracing the fur that collected in her clothes like it was some badge of honor.

Could he honestly ever be faulted for falling in love? For taking the risk?

One night when the clinic closed, Isa turned on music, low enough not to bother any of the sleeping animals, and pulled him into a dance. But if she hadn’t, he would’ve been tugging her on the makeshift dance floor of the exam room.

And as they danced he let his passion take over, kissing her as they twirled and moved and spun.

She matched his fervor, pressing her lips to his with the same enthusiasm, the same need, the same want.

His family didn’t understand him, growing up and embracing everything like it was the only way to live.

They didn’t understand her either when they met.

But what they did understand was the way they looked at each other.

His family looked at them and could see they were one in the same- full of life, full of love for everything around them- and no one could understand one better than the other.

Where Andy’s family didn’t know what to make of how he lived, Isa never made it seem weird or wrong or too much.

Every bit of himself he pushed into everything else, she matched and pushed even more.

So he gave her every little bit of himself he could.

He was all in for everything life had to offer, and he was all in for her.
