he came around the training center, since he had trained for so long and had friends there

My coming out story is weird, it gets a lil transphobic so tw near the end tw long post too

So, pretty much throughout my time growing up through elementary school and half of middle school, i grew up in a white middle class area. I didnt know about the LGBTQ+ or anything other than what I saw, which was white people and an occasional poc. Eventually I had to move and I ended up in a super diverse area, and ended up becoming best friends with this person (they are ftm now so imma use the right pronouns but they were f when this story mostly takes place) he told me all about things I didnt know, specifically the LGBTQ+ community and that he was pan, and it was new information so just like any 13 year old learning new things, I questioned myself, I questioned if I could like the same sex or not or possibly more.

Sadly, drama happened between my best friend, his girlfriend and I, so thing got a little weird. But there was a time in winter, when he was off that relationship for more than a month and he said he'd like to date me, and I really thought about it before hand and said yeah, I couldnt tell you how happy I was to have this experience.

I told my mom that night, in a round about way cuz I was nervous, "Hey mom, what if I liked girls?" She told me she doesnt think that I do, because I always expressed feelings for guys, and when I tell her I didnt really understand what being gay was when I was younger, I didn't really know it was a possibility. She snapped at me and said, "Unless you are willing to kiss a girl and do the other stuff, you arent gay at all."

Eventually I have a sit down conversation with her, about how confusing this all was and how I wish I knew how I felt, and so on. She said she had a similar questioning phase but it never stuck so she doesnt think I am.

Like a month later I figure it out and dude that was so gratifying. I came out as bi to my mom, who just dismissed the whole thing, but I was terrified to tell my uncle (it's a long story about that, no it's not "sweet home Alabama") because he always said bi's were wh*res so yeah. I ended up telling him, and he goes, "You know my opinion on it but that doesnt mean that I'll disown you or anything." Btw the relationship (dating wise) with my best friend after he came out as ftm because he went back to his ex, it's all cool tho.

So that was that, or so I thought. It was my first year of high school, and I finally really understood the definition of pan, what was holding me back though was the trans experience, I thought because I didnt know what it was like, I couldnt be pan, even though I didnt have a preference, turns out it just means you like people no matter their gender and it like, clicked finally so yeah. I've told my family about that since but I a similar reaction: my mom said she doesnt think I am and she lectured me on my generation having so many labels and how she hated it. My uncle said he appreciated that I was pan more than me being bi which confused me but he just had a better view of pansexual than bisexual. (I explained to both of them what the difference was but idk man)

I believe it was my second year of high school when I really started to question my gender, and that was mostly because I saw a video of what gender dysphoria looks like if it's not that strong and you arent aware for ftm. So like wearing bagging clothes all the time, always wearing sports bras, and practically no other bra, feeling really good if someone accidentally calls you sir, etc. And I was like, oml it's me. But it wasnt, I didnt find that out until later tho. So, with my friend group, I find a name that seems to fit me well and ask them to address me by it and he/him pronouns, as like a test of sorts. (All of my friends are gay in some way so it was cool) In the end tho, I got a little iffy about the whole thing and wouldnt ever correct them at times or it was just off for me. I felt really bad because I thought that they might have thought that I was just trying to force myself to be more like them, but I wasnt, i still felt bad though and kinda dropped it.

I'm not sure 100% how I figured it out tho, but I remember talking to my best friend (not the same one from middle school, they were my best friend as well but they arent the same person) about the whole experience and I believe they brought up the idea of genderfulid, and I was like :0.... what that. They explain it, you go aall over the gender spectrum, some days you might feel like a boy, others you might feel like you have no gender, some days you might feel like your gender is something completely weird and different, that's just what it is. And I was like, "It fits but like, I barely feel femme at any point in time, maybe like once a year." And they tell me, that's ok and stuff as long as my gender just decides to be a completely weird and went all over the place, it counted, so I was like, "I finally figured it out!!!" And i was so happy.

Then came the time I was comfortable enough to tell my parents. I had been using the label genderfuild for over half a year already and I thought that it was what I was so it was ok to tell them. I saw how ok me being gay went, so I was nervous but not as nervous as I should have been, probably. I told my mom first, she went on a similar rant of her no liking my generations labels and such, but it went fine, I explained it, I thought I was through, I thought I was fine, apparently not. One day I'm in the shower and I hear my mom being very expressive with what ever shes talking about to my uncle, which is fine, she needs someone to vent to sometimes. When I get out though, and I can here her clearly, I hear sees complaining about what I told her recently, that I'm genderfulid, but instead of saying that, she only says I want to be a boy. (Oh no) So shes complaining to him, asking why I cant be more like her and just be a masculine girl and be fine, why do I have to fit in with the crowd of my generation to feel special, why cant I just be fine with who I am now? Etc.

The sad thing is, that night, I was going out shopping for pants and underwear with my uncle because I needed some and I wore men's pants already at that point, because they are more durable, and stuff so I knew it was gonna be a long ride. My mom was snippy with me that whole night, just the entire time which sucked.

When we finally left to go get clothes though, I didnt know it could get worse. My uncle lectured me about how that's just my generations fad, and how his was making tattoos and piercings ok in the work place and mine is being trans a gay and all that crap, and that I'm just trying to fit in, I'm not being myself, no matter how much I chop myself up and cut my hair and take hormones my chromosomes will never change and so I can never be an actual guy. He also said that I would bring just more attention to myself being a woman who does guy things rather than try and be one, and he thinks I'm doing this all for attention. I was mad but silent at this point, I didnt want to cause anything to happen. He ended up asking me, "So did you pick a different name?" I was surprised but I said yeah, and my friends were using it and it seemed to fit better. He asked me what it was and fear over took my body. I told him, "I'll only tell you if you dont use it against me if your mad." He says, "i cant promise that." And then gets mad because I wont tell him. Though I do, because I feel obligated since hes buying me clothes. To be even more confusing, he buys me guys underwear, and undershirts along with the predetermined pants he promised me and now I'm so confused.

But it gets even worse. When we get home, my mom freaks out on him because be bought me all that mens stuff and she said he was encouraging my behavior and stuff, he defended with it's just clothes, and yah it is. Eventually things settle down, obviously my mom isnt talking to be, but that's for the best at this point. I'm in the living room with my uncle and he just then starts harassing me with questions like, how do you know? he asks. "Well, I just feel that way, same as you." I say. But why do you wanna be a guy? he asks. "I dont wanna be a guy, it's just weird that way. Also it's not me being a guy, it me being many more than that," I say. He says that's bullsh*t. I offer to show him videos that better explain what trans is and how it's an actual sciencey thing and stuff but he said he wont take a video because he wants me to say it. And then he just goes off, saying the name I picked out shows how self centered I am because I am selfish, he kept asking me if i liked to fight, to catch and play with bugs, to be strong, to be angry all the time, and all these stereotypes for men and I just left, and went to bed. He wasnt going to listen to me, so there wasnt a point to me staying.

But, it gets worse. The morning comes and I'm awoken by the slam of my door by my uncle and the laughter of my mom. My uncle starts being really aggressive and starts cleaning my room, I only have clothes on the floor mostly so that's all it was, but he starts saying, well if you're gonna be a man, imma start training you like one, the man of the house picks up after everyone, the man of the house does everything he can to help the house run smoothly, the man of the house has to be strong, and all that stuff. (Which I thought was funny because he was "the man of the house" yet I did everything, and still do. I clean up most after him, funny huh.) And, I know what's happening and so I stay in bed, I don't want this to happen. But I literally get ripped out of my bed by my uncle and get told to stop being a little b*tch and a brat because I'm being selfish by my mom and I'm yelled at to sit in the living room and wait while my uncle cleans my room. When hes done hes starts lecturing me and being all aggressive and in my face. He keeps asking me a million questions with the tone that he didnt care so I knew he wouldn't listen. Eventually, him and my mom leave, I'm told to stay there until I get back. When they do get back, they act like everything is fine, nothing happened between them and I and it's just been so hard for me to talk to them about that since.

I'm greatful that I dont have to deal with that anymore but every time something that that is brought up with my family, I panic so much now. I'm fine and I'm safe but it was very traumatic for me. And uh, thanks for listening.

SVT’s Reaction to Being Outed for Dating a Guy

A/N: I’m perfectly fine with it, here you go bub!! And I hope fans of all pronouns/identities feel welcome on my blog, so if y’all want to request more pride stuff or specifically for fanboys, they/them fans, etc, then feel free to! Reaction & drabble requests are still open~

S.Coups

Wbk he’s 100% supportive of the LGBTQ+ community, so he’s definitely aware of how Korea thinks of his relationship and doesn’t care about Korea’s opinions of him as an LGBTQ+ person. He still does a good job at hiding his relationship for his boyfriend’s sake, though.

Honestly, being the best leader he is, Cheol is the one with the situation under control... on the outside. He deals with the company and the media really well, but on the inside he’s an emotional mess because he’s worried about how his bf would react to the whole ordeal. Again, it isn’t the pride stuff he’s worried about; he cares for his boyfriend and wants him to feel safe after their relationship is exposed.

...Will smother his bf with love once they're free from the drama tho lol

Jeonghan

Jeonghan’s worried at first but he quickly gains the confidence that everything will be alright as long as he and his boyfriend maintain a healthy relationship. He’s not going to let the company tear them apart, much less “fans” and the public! He meets with the company early on to get everything sorted out and confirms his relationship (if his bf approves) so they don’t need to worry about being too secretive about it.

And after all the professional stuff? He lowkey owns it tbh. His way of dealing with the media is holding his boyfriend’s hand in public to show that “yes, we’re dating; your opinions aren’t going to change anything!” What a king.

Joshua

Because he’s from the USA, Joshua would be the most comfortable in this situation compared to the others. He's definitely worried and shocked, especially when the company says they need to talk to him about dating rumors. But his opinion is swayed by how his boyfriend feels, rather than the opinion of literally everyone else who doesn’t have a say in the relationship 🙃

If his bf doesn’t want to make the relationship super public, he understands completely; Josh will definitely want to show him off though! ;) A v caring man who probably posts the occasional selfie with his boyfriend. His mans should expect some guitar serenades too!

Jun

When the company calls him in to talk about dating rumors, he makes sure his boyfriend is with him, or at least tells his bf about how the company wants to proceed. He gets through everything while trying to be strong and not to show any doubts he has.

But c’mon, he would be the one that’s super giggly and obvious about his relationship after he’s outed. He posts funny pics with his boy on Weibo whenever they’re chilling together! (As Jun’s bf... you’re gonna have to tolerate that lmao.)

Hoshi

Honestly doesn’t really care about the company’s opinion that much. Probably posted pictures of one of the places they went on a date at and then someone got suspicious. He’s more concerned about his group members though, so he asks for their opinions and advice before even asking out his now-boyfriend. (Probably still asks for advice after he starts dating said boyfriend lol)

He’s worried about carats and Korea’s opinions, but he’s also not gonna let that stop him from loving and appreciating his boyfriend! His mindset is that they’ll get through it, and they’ll get through it together.

Wonwoo

His big brain is very aware about how he/his relationship is be viewed by the locals. Writes a statement explaining the situation if it was revealed in a really rude way (*cough* Dispatch). Ultimately he handles the media and rumors really well!

In terms of his members and boyfriend... he needs a lot of validation. He’s worried for sure, so he needs a lot of love and reassurance that he’s doing enough to keep his bf and the group safe. Hides from the media until the rumors die down or gets comfortable enough to show his relationship in public.

Woozi

Jihoon’s pretty responsible, but he knows that if he’s outed, he’s outed. He talks with the members about it since he’s worried how it will affect them and his boyfriend. (If his man is a celebrity like an actor/idol too... hoo boy he's so stressed.😢) He definitely worries that the media will harass his boyfriend or knetizens will ask him to leave the group.

Once the members and boyfriend comfort him and give him a lot of love, he’s calmed and is back to being himself! Keep his relationship mostly private, but probably writes a love song that carats just know was inspired by his boyfriend!

DK

He could care less about the company or the general public; what’s important is his bond with his boyfriend, his members, and carats (in that order). Mr. Sunshine Seokmin is emotional about the drama happening. He loves his boyfriend with all his heart and it shows, so he’s scared his bf will leave him out of fear or stress :(

He understands if his bf wants to break up and talks with him about it, but to his joy that won’t be the case!! After the stress passes, he’s still careful about how much of their relationship is shown to the public. But he’s definitely open to pda if his bf is okay with it! He’s excited to share his life an experiences with his boyfriend and to celebrate theirs too.

Mingyu

The company brought up dating rumors to him pretty quickly because of his previous ‘scandal’ and they want to prioritize his safety and avoid another once. But once he’s outed, he knows there’s no going back, so he goes with the flow and starts posting pictures of him and his boyfriend with no fear!! He either posts on his Instagram account if they ever start using their accounts again, or he lets his bf post pics wherever he wants. He’s cautious, but also, who cares?!

He tries to separate his relationship from Seventeen as much as possible, but doesn’t shy away from the idea of doing a Vlive with just him and his bf. Definitely a couple trying to show Korea that love is love and Mingyu can date whoever tf he wants!!!

The8

Minghao’s super professional about everything and cautious because of Korea’s views. But if there is a slip-up (maybe during or after a date where someone snaps a picture), the moment he sees that someone has found out about his relationship, he talks about it with his bf. The members are told right after and he makes plans to talk to the company.

His priority is his boyfriend’s privacy and safety, especially if his bf isn’t a celebrity; Minghao’s super protective and is more cautious the next time(s) they go out together. If the relationship is eventually confirmed, it’s intentional and to show that he’s living his best life and that carats should too! (Though he probably won’t say anything about his relationship other than that.)

Seungkwan

He’s fine at first since the meeting with the company went well (thanks to Seungcheol's support) and the company suggests they reveal the relationship. But right after, Seungkwan’s an emotional wreck... there are times he feels like crying because of people leaving super inconsiderate comments and other times he feels enraged because of negative comments about his boyfriend. He takes a break from social media because of this.

Once the rumors died down and carats accept his relationship, he’s gushing about his man whenever he gets the chance! Interviewers are always asking him about what it’s like to be LGBTQ+ in a kpop group, but he always redirects the conversation to be about his boyfriend and how happy they both are!! I refuse to believe Seungkwan will be anything less than an amazing, caring boyfriend despite the whole situation.

Vernon

Vernon’s another member that’s more focused on how his boyfriend feels about the situation, rather than the company/Korea/fans’ reaction. It's scary for him to be outed like that, but his family (biological & svt) is very supportive of him and his sexuality! He would ask for a lot of advice from other LGBTQ+ idols (including fellow members, if they happen to be dating a guy at the time) for how they dealt with the initial wave of drama and criticism.

Just another boy that’s chill on the outside but is gonna need a lot of love to get through it all :’) Keeps most of his relationship off of social media, but if his boyfriend wants to post something, he’s okay with that!

Dino

He’s nervous mostly about the company’s reaction and the status of his relationship. He trusts that carats will be supportive, but he’s worried that the company or bf will react badly, so he talks a lot with the group first about his relationship even before he’s outed! He also discusses everyone’s reactions with his boyfriend. He wants to handle it well to show he’s capable, especially to his younger siblings & family, so the only person to know if he’s really feeling stressed is his boyfriend and maybe the members!

After being outed, he still wants to keep his relationship private. He doesn’t stress to much if he’s caught out with his bf once or twice, but he values his privacy and will only show his bf off if they are both in a secure point in their relationship.

He usually hates to use his physical shape to convey any kind of threat, but seeing you trying to escape that pushy guy makes him go all out.

He will literally look down on that guy.

Without a word, he snatches you away.

If the guy tries to go after you, he will catch his wrist and say in a low voice "don't even try".

Super embarrassed of his act afterwards, but tells you you should call him right away if it ever happen again.

Axel

Takes a picture from afar.

Comes close :

"Hello there. What do you think my followers will do if I post that on my instagram?"

The person recognizes him right away, apologizes and quickly flees.

Happy to have avoided a real problem, yet he slightly regrets to not have been more violent.

Claire

Comes silently, grabs your arms, and smiles at you the best she can

"I've been looking for you!" "Come, we will be late"

Just go along : she probably does not feel like facing the person directly, just she is giving her best to offer you an opportunity to escape.

Reaaaaally nervous the whole time, and even afterwards.

But assures you that you should call her whenever you need.

Pretty happy about what she did.

Ellie

She is being very loud on purpose.

"Omg is this person harassing you?? This still exists?? Olala"

If the person don't disappear immediately and/or start to get aggressive she will take a kung-fu pose.

"Dare to oppose my all-mighty martial art!"

She is dangerous. The person better fly off.

Karolina

Just comes and snatches you away.

She does not even look at the bother that is trying to flirt with you, whatever happens.

Later tho, she gets angry and swear next time she will get their head.

She is terrifying, you do believe her, your call to try and stop her or not.

Neha

Comes to the person and directly says : "you're way to low for Scholar, stop wasting our time"

Annoyed glare

She takes your hand, which is unusual, and raises it a bit with a look that says "combo, you're too low and Scholar is taken"

Might smirks disdainfully.

Raquel

Makes sure to look intimidating

Passes an arm around your shoulder

"I've been looking for you, dear. Let's go"

If the person still tries, she will use the glare.

Basically, she is super proud of herself, and flexes around mentioning it over and over, being silly and funny like always.

Tadashi

Directly calls his lawyer and walk towards you.

"My friend is being harassed, could you open a case right now ?"

He pauses, and asks the name of the man bothering you. The said man is clearly confused and quickly backs off when he understands Tadashi isn't bluffing.

Yet he screams some insults when departing.

Guess who will receive a visit from the police at 2AM

Tegan

He directly calls you on your phone

Which is really odd because he usually only uses texts. It gives you a good opportunity to cut the ongoing conversation.

Leads you to a coffee near by where he meets you.

Sends the man a message directly on his phone "FBI, this is a warning. Harassing someone in the street may cost you..."

Tyler

Comes really, really close to the person and winks.

"You're totally my type you know", he says with a really suggestive voice.

If the person is not freaked out yet, he will just take your hand and just whisper "but for now, I'll escape with you"

Run

Can't stop laughing at the whole situation afterwards.

Also a character who really suffers from the flip flopping writing is Manjimutt. In his first episode he just seemed like a sad sympathetic old man who was getting shat on by the universe for no reason whatsoever, and i really wanted to hug him! And in his second episode he fought Roughraff with his bare hands to defend his friends, and actually won! And also helped Roughraff learn that some grownups are cool! And Manjimutt teared up when Nate said he was 'a grownup we can trust', and i was really cheering for him!! And then in his next episode its like he's entirely rewritten?? Now he's friggin pissing in public and sexually harassing underage schoolgirls and this is meant to be harmless and funny?? His quest to be seen as cute like other dogs now seems predatory and gross, and the joke of him being constantly arrested isnt a goddamn joke its YES PLEASE OFFICER THROW AWAY THE KEY

I hate it!! I got really invested in that guy!! Like thats inherantly sympathetic, him being unfairly hated just because he's 'old and ugly', and all this bad luck happening to him when he doesnt deserve it. He was my favourite character for two damn episodes!! Why did it take two episodes to remember to establish WHY this dude is actually hated and actually has all this bad luck?? Why did you make me waste my sympathy on him??

Man i really hope this is one of those cases of the anime changing things, like how Ray O Light isnt Drizzelda's stalker in the gameverse but actually a decent guy and her mutually consensual boyfriend. Cos it feels such a waste to have this concept of a sad dog dad and not let me cherish him and actually make him a massive asshole! GIVE ME AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE HE IS GOOD MAN

WTF WHY DID THE ANIME GIVE HIM THAT VOICE

Its not just me right, thats a weirdly charasmatic voice? He sounds like some james bond type thing and its really unfitting for his entire plot being about him apparantly being ugly. Why is he a supermodel in voice only..?

Oh but randomly i really like the voice for Walkappa! Such a cutie! His episode was funny with him just walking up and saying hi, and nate and whisper ignoring him and looking at all sorts of other spurious evidence to find a kappa. And then it just ends after that skit and the next episode actually makes fun of how they never resolved that plot thread, with "Calling... Walkappa! (wait when did we get him)" See i like that, a lot of the humour really is great and its just such a buzzkill that you can get caught up in laughing and have your good mood shot by some really meanspirited or creepily sexual moment.

Anyway i loved how earnest Walkappa's voiceactor was when he admitted his deep secret that he likes pizza instead of cucumbers. Tattletell's episode was also very awesome, i love how they made her super tiny and she hops like a frog. She was so cute even while being an asshole!! And walkappa was extra cute when he defeated her by having no embarassing secrets at all. "I like pizza! Sometimes i do the backstroke! You're all my friends!" Nate called him boring for it but i'd say its more wholesome instead. Walkappa confirmed for only good person in this show so far!

Oh also i really really really really really REALLY hate how the Obligatory Straight Romance is handled between Nate and Katie so far. We have NO IDEA why Nate even likes Katie except for looks, and he's always doing selfish stuff to try and score a date with her. And like we barely know any of Katie's personality either except that she seems to accidentally say insensitive things without meaning to, and then she got inspirited by a yokai that makes you tell secrets and it got even worse. And then in the hungramps episode Nate is a MASSIVE ASSHOLE to Katie and is all "ugh she's eating burgers she's gonna get fat and i wont like her anymore" and then he says to her face that she "looks terrible" even though the animators didnt bother to make her look any different at all. And then later on he uses another yokai to erase her memory of being mad at him so he doesnt have to face the consequences. Im glad at least that that one backfired in his face! So yeah ALL WE EVER SEE of this supposed romance is nate being horrible to her, nate being horrible to otjer people in order to win her, or her being horroble to him but at least its mildly more forgiveable cos it was an accident. But still there are some really contrived accidents! So honestly she kinds seems like an asshole too and she's just lying or something...

Oh but Wazzat is cute and i liked how its episode was the first sorta high stakes episode of a yokai actually fighting nate instead of just causing mischief. It was a lil scary how thos goofy voiced hat went from comedy to talking about its tragic backstory and feeling so betrayed that it was gonna go all out in battle! But it was sweet that nate learned his lesson FOR ONCE and also helped heal the loneliness of this weird hat friend.

...aaaand then last minute twist ending where poor wazzat's happiness gets pulled away at the last second. Literally "dont worry i'll be your friend, all you wanted is someone who wouldnt forget you" and then wazzat accidentally uses its powers to erase everyone's memory and they stop being its friend again. AND THE EPISODE JUST ENDS

I keep telling myself i'll try and remember its just a comedy show and not get invested in any of the characters but GAH if youre even slightly invested in them it gets infinately less funny! seongwoo was dared to pour a whole entire bucket of water on you by jaehwan because all his friends knew seongwoo had the biggest crush on you you didn’t know he had a crush on you tho

seongwoo as much as he liked you would never step down from a dare

so he did it

just as you were entering the cafeteria he poured a whole entire huge bucket of water all over you 

he was expecting you to slap him, or get super pissed

to his amazement and surprise you didn’t 

you felt the rush of water and you could tell by the laugh it was seongwoo

and you smiled to yourself knowing if you got pissed that means he would get the satisfaction

so instead you turned back to face him just to give a smirk and a raise of your eyebrow and then you screamed out

“WATER FIGHT!!!!!”

and it was a hot summer’s day so literally the cafeteria went into absolute chaos

people got their water bottles, cups, someone even got a hose

and water was everywhere, with people running around and screaming 

it was one of the best lunches even afternoon classes got cancelled because literally everyone was soaked head to toe even the teachers

and the cafeteria was basically just looked like it was in a flood

just as the water fight started, you filled up the bucket he used on you 

and seongwoo was just in awe of you of turning this whole entire thing on him

you walked up to him still drenched and with the same exact bucket he poured water on you, you poured it on him

he couldn’t help but smile brightly as you did thinking

“shit this one hell of a girl”

and you were smiling the whole time 

you couldn’t help yourself but admire his smile, his joking casual attitude, and him wanting to make people smile

but you also thought he’s such a cocky jerk but you knew 

as you were pouring water all over him and he was grinning happily

you were gonna fall for him

and oh boy did you 

and then as the last droplet landed on him

you whispered in his ear “better luck next time”

you winked at him and walked off 

luckily he didn’t see your super red blush and couldn’t hear your racing heart

he also was trying to stop his ears from going bright red and to stop smiling the goofy adorable smile he knew he had on his face

he stared at you the whole time as you walked away from him

but for the grande finale you rang the fire alarm in the cafeteria making the sprinklers go off 

then you just strutted out there like the boss ass bitch you were

and seongwoo literally fell so in love with you right there and then 

he knew he could never meet someone like you ever in his whole entire lifetime

someone finally outsmarted the great ong seongwoo

and he finally fell for someone

but that was like 6 months ago

in those 6 months you turned into enemies who secretly loved each other

seongwoo would do ANYTHING to get your attention

which usually meant annoying the shit out of you 

and constantly be super competitive 

but you couldn’t help but love it, any interaction with him made your heart flutter 

but literally in every test, exam, sports competition

you both would always be 1st or 2nd

and the bragging rights were huge 

“yah! y/n i ranked 1st in maths and guess where you are 2ndddd” he’d tease as the score sheet was up

“oh shut up, i beat you in english”

“and remember last week, aren’t you supposed to be in the soccer team?? how come i beat your team when we were playing soccer in sport??” you retorted

both of you stayed silent for a few moments thinking of that lesson

basically what happened was seongwoo was getting jealous at one of the guys, xiumin being too close to you

and he literally “accidentally” bumped into him super hard making xiumin fall

but he didn’t apologise and left him there making you super pissed off

after you helped him up and he told you he was fine

you stormed up to seongwoo and demanded

“apologise! you literally made him fall!!”

“why the hell should I?” he cockily remarked back

you stepped closer to him making people not sure whether you were gonna slap him or kiss him

you getting more aggravated basically shouted 

“GET YOUR ASS OVER THERE AND APOLOGISE!”

he scoffed at your remark making you want to strangle him and stepping so close to you your noses were touching and said 

“sweetheart, make me”

everyone was just staring at you two, the sexual tension was so thick literally no one said a thing

you were glaring daggers at him while he was casually smirking

then you sickly sweetly smiled at him and stepped on his foot super hard

and said “whoopsie”

you walked off as he was groaning in pain clutching his foot

these sort of incidents happened between you two

and everyone could see the sexual chemistry between you two shipping you two all the time

but all the hatred, teasing, snide comments stopped one night

you were both at a party, you weren’t really enjoying it 

feeling super duper jealous as you saw seongwoo dancing with at least 3 girls

minhyun noticed and said to you “yah y/n stop staring at seongwoo, you’re making it so obvious that you like him”

“i don’t like him minhyun-ah” you said with a sigh

“mhmmm sureee keep telling yourself that” sungwoon butted in sassily

“just make him jealous y/n he’ll be all over you in seconds” drawled jaehwan

“dance with woojin then, sexily of course” daniel said with a teasing wink

“all of you just stoppppp” you groaned

“jisung help me out here??” you pleaded at jisung

“as much i hate to admit, i agree with the boys” he said raising his hands up in surrender

you huffed and puffed and then said fine

you went up to woojin who was dancing in the centre of the dance floor

and you told him that you were trying to make seongwoo jealous so is it okay if you danced with him

luckily you guys were good friends but 

he still blushed so hard at first then shyly agreed

but once you were both dancing it just became a lot of fun

and of course seongwoo couldn’t help but get jealous and stare at you two

then the guys moved to him

enjoying making you two squirm

“seongwoo stop making it so obvious you’re jealous” sungwoon teasingly said

“ME?! jealous of y/n and woojin?? no way in hell would that happen” he denied outright

“seongwoo even me, i can tell you’re basically in love with her” jisung said exasperatedly 

“seriously though when are you going to ask her out” minhyun asked

seongwoo just sighed and gave up lying to them and said

“gosh i like her so much, it’s crazy, i’d do anything to get her attention, i have literally gone on no dates for 6 months, she’s perfect but she’d never like me, she probably hates my guts” he ended dejectedly

literally everybody rolled their eyes at that

seongwoo scoffed at first but then he noticed what jihoon said was right, you kept looking at him to make sure he was looking at you dancing

he started to grin broader and broader

as he realised what the guys were saying were right

he literally felt like doing the biggest happy dance 

he felt he was on the top of the world as he realised you liked him as well

on the other hand

you couldn’t help but blush at his intense gaze on you and the way he was smiling was making your heart melt

you excused yourself to woojin saying you were going to get a drink so you could calm and collect yourself

you headed upstairs and as you were relaxing in front of a door 

someone grabbed your wrist super tight and wrapped a hand around your mouth 

harshly pulling you into a small closet

your eyes meet some random man trying to kiss you

you could smell the alcohol in his breath 

you tried to get out of the closet but realised it was locked

your instincts kicked in and you started kicking and hitting and screaming for help

he restrained you and held you down making you feel desperate and helpless

after so much effort of getting him off you

screaming that he was a pedo and creep and to stop

he still tried to kiss you 

just as you were about to give up and let him kiss you 

the closet door flung right open

it was seongwoo

he saw you walk up the stairs and thought to leave you to be for a while before confessing but after 10 minutes he got worried

he knew there were a lot of drunk guys around and hoped nothing bad happened to you 

he went upstairs and found guanlin on his phone and asked him super concerned 

“guanlin-ah did you see y/n??!”

“no sorry hyung, i came up just like 2 minutes ago” guanlin said 

seongwoo than frantically tried to find you, going from room to room 

then he heard the banging from a closet

he then heard you scream 

and all he saw was red after

you couldn’t help but relax as you saw seongwoo

the guy gruffly said “get the hell out”

seongwoo said in a voice which was dangerously low

“you have 3 seconds to get your fucking filthy hands off the girl i love before i beat the crap out of you, 1, 2, 3″

the guy still hadn’t moved

he was basically ripped off from you then seongwoo got one punch in

before the guy scrambled out and slammed the closet door shut

you both realised you guys couldn’t get out but didn’t really care anymore just glad that it was all over

you relaxed as the guy wasn’t in your sight anymore

then you tried to process everything especially

the girl i love bit

but before you could say anything

two muscular arms wrapped around you super tight

you felt so warm and safe in seongwoo’s arms

he whispered into your ears “i was so worried about you”

your heart flutters as you hear the sincerity and concern in his voice

“thank you for saving me” you said your voice slightly trembling

still traumatised from the incident

“of course, don’t worry now, i’m here okay?” he said sweetly

“okay” you say sighing in relief

for a few minutes you just stood there just hugging each other

you eventually break apart and you couldn’t help but say 

“the girl you love huh?”

“i never said that” seongwoo denied adamantly 

“say it againnn” you tease 

“say what again?” he asks pretending to be clueless 

“that you love me” you say with a smirk you say stepping super close to him

you both stared intently into each others eyes and seongwoo’s eyes kept on flittering to your lips back to your eyes

making your heart beat faster than it ever has

seongwoo not even registering what he was doing 

softly kissed you at first in a way like asking your permission

and allowing you to break apart

you didn’t want that at all and you deepened the kiss 

he reciprocated almost immediately 

as it continues it continuously became more passionate

all the sexual chemistry between you basically exploded

you ran your hands through his hair

and he couldn’t help himself but fall in love even more as you kept on smiling as you kissed him

but as the kisses became more passionate

he’d bite your lips softly making you moan softly

he’d trail kisses all the way down to your collarbone

making you arch your back slightly

then he’d recapture your lips and kiss you over and over again 

you both end up making out for a solid 10 minutes

as you parted, seongwoo wore the cheekiest smile

you scolded him but you couldn’t help but smile

“wipe that smirk off your face ong seongwoo”

“yes dear’ he’d teasingly coo

you rolled your eyes

you guys ended up getting out of the closet by you picking the lock with a bobby pin

without saying goodbye to anyone, you grabbed your stuff and headed to seongwoo’s house

both your parents were out of town 

so you just stayed at his place for the night 

stop thinking so dirty no they did not do it

just because you were still scared at the incident of tonight

and seongwoo wanted to make sure you were okay

seongwoo gave you one go his t-shirts to change into and it was a simple loose black t shirt 

you went to seongwoo and twirled around and asked

“do i look okay?” 

seongwoo just cheekily smiled and couldn’t help but rush up to you and kiss you sweetly because of how good you looked in his shirt

and whispered

“you look perfect, you’ve always been perfect to me and you are the perfect girl for me”

“y/n will you be my girlfriend?”

he ended with a sweet forehead kiss and you nod and sweetly reply 

“as cheesy as it sounds i’ve basically been in love with you for the past 6 months so of course i will”

he’d kiss you softly after you said yes both of you grinning like you won the lottery 

you both end up talking for hours, eating junk food, while cuddling and 

laughing about how you hated each other and constantly teased each other and all the small arguments you guys had

after talking about the most random little things to the deepest secrets you’ve never revealed 

laughing you head off or teasingly arguing with each other 

you both were super exhausted

and you then ended up falling asleep in your favourite place in the world

in seongwoo’s arms

once you went to sleep seongwoo smiled at you in a way someone could if they were in love and before he passed out himself 

he whispered sweetly in your ear

“sweet dreams, y/n, i love you”

You may want to pelt the main guy's head with as many soccer balls you can physically hurl while reading this. Main sis aint that bright either.

I dont really have much to say about this one. It was a good buffer to read in between reading other book series

Some Thoughts On OITNB Season 5

So there will be a lot of spoilers so be warned.

In general this season felt pretty disorganized and I felt like it took on way too many characters and plots than they could handle. I think the tone has been pretty off too. When I watched the trailer I was so excited because it looked like the show had taken the step to get darker and more focused. But the show didn’t, they tried to fit in just as much comedy as last season which didn't fit the tone given how dire of a situation a prison riot is.  I think a lot of issues also came from trying to dig themselves out of the hole of season 4. First of all, I think they handled Poussey’s death badly. (I mean I’m upset she died in the first place) I felt a lot of the way it was handled was more of an insult to the Black Lives Matter movement instead of a tribute, mostly because of the way the world of OITNB’s media reacted to it. In the show the media was going to try to make Bailey look dangerous and the villain in the story, which NEVER happens to the police officers who kill innocent people. The media never portrays these murders as monsters, the victim is almost always vilified. I find it not a reflection of our realty for them to make a statement about Bailey being unjustly vilified. What also makes this harder is the fact that Bailey actually didn't try to kill her and spends all of season 5 moping around about it. These scenes are repetitive and uncomfortable, and don't seem to find any reasonable conclusion. It makes it doubly frustrating when Taystee risks so much of the entire prisons future on this one request. I don’t blame Taystee as a character for this and I personally feel that her character and her arc was the most compelling of the entire season, I understand why she feels this way and fights for it. It’s just hard as an audience member to root for her cause with the show constantly trying to guilt us about how Bailey feels all the time. This makes the final negotiation loss because of her one request as much more unnecessarily frustrating than tragic. This was the major plot line I had issues with but here are some others.

- ALL OF THE RAPE JOKES

As a progressive show OITNB should NOT constantly allude to rape being funny if it’s to a man. Look at a situation OITNB supposedly finds funny if the gender roles are switched.

Imagine a male inmate getting the tip of his finger cut off and then threatens a female guard held hostage to cut off her finger tip to replace it. The female guard in hopes of somehow escaping this mutilation offers to give him a hand-job in hopes of distracting him to find an escape. What ensures is a *hilarious* scene where she’s jerking him off and one of the inmates friends mocks him for having his first orgasm. After this, the two men are talking and the one getting the hand job asks the other if the female officer was actually into it or was just trying to escape. The male prisoner responds with, “Nah, I’ve raped woman before and she seemed into it”. This line is played off as a laugh. 

This is one specific example, but there are sooo many more. The entire season many female characters were harassing the male guards and threatening to rape or sexually assault them and these were played as laughs.

- TRYING TO MAKE DOGGETT  BE “CUTE” WITH HER RAPIST

This is so awful to watch and just horrifying that the writers have taken this path. I can’t look at these two being cute without thinking about the brutal scene last season where he rapes her. I don’t know why the writers keep pushing this but it needs to stop.

- PISCATELLA’S PLOT LINE AND BACKROUND

Okay so I felt the writers wanted to make him a psychopath so they can do the torture scene, but it doesn't make any sense. He was an asshole before this season but never this bad, and this insane plan to capture Red’s closest friends and torture them and her seemed out of nowhere. I thought that his flashbacks would make more sense out of this but it actually made it more confusing. I don’t think it makes Piscatella a psychopath to murder his lover’s rapist. I mean yeah that scene was fucked up, but I mean how many times have we seen a flashback to an inmate murdering someone for raping or wronging someone they loved, or for wronging themselves? Just a few examples,

- Miss Claudette murdering a man for sexually assaulting one of her girls who worked for her.

- Norma murdering her abusive husband

- Frieda also presumingly murdering her husband

- Chang straight up murdering a dude for calling her ugly

I mean heres the thing, none of these women are portrayed as psychopaths so I don’t think this is a good enough justification for Piscatella being one. 

(Another sidetone about his death that annoyed me, it’s super small but like, they literally shot him in the head and then one of the guards announced he’s not breathing, like duh)

- MY OPINION ON PIPER

I know it’s a thing that everyone hates Piper or whatever, and she can be annoying but after this season I think I figured out why her presence is so off on the show. I think it’s because we don’t need her anymore. Piper was useful as a character in the beginning of the show because she is in a lot of ways a catalyst for the audience, and this role is outgrown and not necessary anymore for the audience watching the show. I mean I’m gonna assume the majority of OITNB’s audience has not been to prison before and has no idea what it’s actually like to be in one. Piper is in some ways us, a newcomer into Litchfield that has no idea who anyone is or how anything works. She was the gate for the audience to enter Litchfield, and get to know the characters and surroundings. As the seasons go on however, the audience knows every character and the usual dynamics of the prison. Thus Piper’s role is now unnecessary and awkward in dynamics with the other prisoners, she doesn’t really have a place. Her story isn’t really compelling anymore since it already got explored, I think the only thing left to keep going with her is Alex, which I think the creators understood this season, pretty much all of her plot was about her and Alex’s relationship. Although their arguing is pretty petty and repetitive, their ending was cute and it reminded me why I liked them together in the first place. I don’t really know how they’re gonna move forward with her character but we’ll see.

Seriously, can they give her a break??? How much more abuse does she have to go through?? I also am getting annoyed that they’ve been using her condition to conveniently have her freak out to complicate situations for plot purposes. I think it’s getting old, and just give the poor girl a break. 

- SEEING SO MUCH OF THE NAZIS

Okay this season had way too many characters to juggle and the first ones to go should of been the Nazis, it was extremely uncomfortable to see the writers try to make them likable and funny. Especially since it was off of jokes about things like poisoning jews. There are so many better characters to see, my last point being... 

- SOPHIA BEING WRITTEN OUT SO EARLY

Can I say anymore? I really wanted to see more of her this season.

This season did have it’s good moments tho

-The video vlogs, amazing

- Litchfield Idol was hilarious

- Red on speed was great

-The doctor was so refreshingly nice and funny

- The makeovers were fantastic

-TAYSTEE, JUST WOW. Danielle Brooks gave an amazing performance. Everytime she speaks is with so much passion and heart, her moments and speeches always made me cry. I hope the writers do her so much justice. She is so incredibly smart, charismatic, and brave, I will be thoroughly disappointed if she doesn't succeed. I hope these riots weren't for nothing because she deserves so much better than that. I hope her character eventually gets into politics once she gets out of prison, I believe she has a real potential to change the world.
